Introduction: The prevalence of high-risk pregnancies in Indonesia is still quite high. Mothers who suffer from illness and pregnancy complications can influence the outcome of the pregnancy, which risks the occurrence of maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality. The psychological effects of high-risk pregnancies are anxiety, stress, and the mother experiences a crisis that can affect the relationship between mother and fetus. These conditions can continue in the relationship between mother and baby after birth. Therefore there needs to be an effort to increase the attachment of the mother and fetus, one of which can be done by providing education. This study aims to determine the effect of prenatal attachment education on maternal and fetal attachment in high-risk pregnant women in Paiton Subdistrict, Probolinggo Regency. Method: The study was conducted in Paiton Subdistrict, Probolinggo Regency in Mei-Juni 2019. The research method used was quasy experiment using pre-post test design. The population in this study were all high risk pregnant women in Dringu Subdistrict, Probolinggo Regency. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling by determining the sample in accordance with the inclusion criteria. The number of samples to be used was 20 respondents. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using Wilcoxon using SPSS. Results and Analysis: The results obtained showed the average score of attachment of the mother and fetus before the intervention was 52.15 and after the intervention was 60.50. There was a significant difference in the attachment of the mother and fetus before and after the intervention with a p value of 0,000 (p <0,000). Discussion: Prenatal care education needs to be included in the prenatal classroom program and started being given to pregnant women since the first trimester.   Keywords: attachment, prenatal attachment, high risk pregnant women

The West Nusa Tenggara Provincial Health Office (2017) mentions the number of maternal mortality from 2015 to 2017 continues to decrease, from 95 cases to 85 cases. Maternal mortality during pregnancy can be prevented by antenatal care by health workers in accordance with the frequency of antenatal visits a minimum of four times. The first visit is carry out at a gestational age of the mother <16 weeks (Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia, 2013), but still found pregnant women who made the first antenatal visit in the second trimester and even the third trimester. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in first visit of pregnant women by age in the Poskesdes working area of the UPTD Puskesmas Gunungsari. This study used a cross-sectional analytic research design in eight Poskesdes in the working area of the UPTD Puskesmas Gunungsari, West Lombok district in November 2018 to January 2019. Samples were taken using a total sampling technique of 1042 people.Secondary data was collected from the maternal cohort register in eight Poskesdes in the UPTD Puskesmas Gunungsari working area in the form of the age of the mother at the first visit and the age of the mother's pregnancy at the first visit. Data were processed univariately and bivariately using the chi-square test. There was a significant difference in the first visit of pregnant women between mothers aged <20 years, 20-35 years, and> 35 years as indicated by the p value of 0.00001 (<0.05). It is expected that midwives in Poskesdes will further enhance the role of cadres in capturing first trimester pregnant women especially those aged <20 years and> 35 years.

AbstractBackgroundPostpartum bleeding and pregnancy induced hypertension – including preeclampsia – remain to be a great cause of maternal mortality. The use of aspirin for preventing preeclampsia has been practiced recently by fetomaternal specialists in Indonesia. This study aimed to analyze the impact of education using an aspirin booklet provided by pharmacists on knowledge and adherence in taking aspirin among pregnant women with high risk for preeclampsia.MethodsThis was one group of pretest-posttest study. We enrolled all pregnant women with high risk for preeclampsia screened at 11+0–13+6 weeks’ gestation at Fetomaternal Clinic, Dr. Ramelan Naval Hospital, Surabaya. All subjects prescribed with low-dose aspirin (100 mg) for preeclampsia prevention received oral and written education using the aspirin booklet and had been followed up for 2 months. Knowledge about aspirin for preeclampsia prevention was measured by a validated questionnaire developed for this study. Adherence to aspirin was measured by pill count method.ResultsA total of 12 pregnant women with high risk for preeclampsia were included during the study period. This study showed a statistically significant difference on knowledge of preeclampsia prevention before and after receiving oral and written education using aspirin booklet (p-value = 0.020), as well as aspirin adherence (p-value = 0.011).ConclusionThe use of oral education and written aspirin booklet provided by pharmacists had impact on knowledge of preeclampsia prevention and adherence in taking aspirin among pregnant women with high risk for preeclampsia. We recommend to conduct randomized control study of adequate number of subjects.

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of Moringa oleifera leaf extract supplements, Moringa oleifera leaf extract plus royal jelly and placebo on hemoglobin levels in anemic pregnant women. This research is a randomized controlled double blind design study which was conducted in Polombangkeng Utara District, Takalar Regency for 2 months. The subjects of this study were pregnant women with anemia, the majority of which were 20-35 years old, primigravida parity, income less than UMR, unemployment, higher education, pregnancy distance of more than 2 years with p value> 0.05. Then divided into three groups, namely Moringa capsules plus royal jelly (KRJ) (n = 24), Moringa capsules (KTR) (n = 24) and placeco (PLC) (n = 21). Before and after the intervention, measurements of hemoglobin levels were carried out using the Hemocue tool and interviewing the characteristics of the respondents. The results showed that the average Hb level increased from each group (mean SD): KRJ 10.06 ± 0.75 to 11.42 ± 1.23, P = 0.001, KTR 10.40 ± 0.46 to 11.15 ± 0 , 90 P = 0.001 and PLC 10.43 ± 0.42 becomes 11.14 ± 0.88 P = 0.002. but there was no significant difference from the difference in the average increase in Hb levels in the three groups, but there was a tendency that KRJ was superior to the KTR and PLC groups with an increase of 1.36 gr / dl, KTR 0.75 gr / dl and PLC 0.71 gr / dl. So it can be concluded that KRJ is better than KTR and PLC in increasing Hb levels in anemic pregnant women in Takalar Regency.

Pregnancy causes a lot of change in the mother’s body, so there are various kinds of physiological discomfort in the mother such as nause and vomiting, usually mild and controlable. This condition sometimes stops in the first trimester, but its effect may lead to nutritional disorder, dehydration, weakness, weight loss, and electrolyte imbalances. If not treated, it will worsen into Hyperemesis Gravidarum This study aimed to determine the effectiveness og ginger candy in reducing the frecuency of nause and vomiting in first trimester pregnant women in the Khairunida clinik with experimental Quasy design and tested by One Group Pretest Postest. About 15 samples were obtained through purposive sampling technique and the data were taken using the T-dependent test. Through the study, it was found that the frequency of nausea and vomiting before being given intervation was 10,93 and after being given intervation was 3,33 with an average decrease by 7,60. Through the statistical test, it was obtained the p value <(0.05) so that this study concluded that administration of ginger candy was effective in reduring nausea and vomiting in first trimester pregnant women. Further researchers are expected toreduce the use of non-pharmacological drugs to overcome nausea and vomiting in first trimester pregnant women and collaborate with the pharmacy department to facilitate the process of making good qualityy ginger candy.

Trimester III is the period of pregnancy which is calculated from the gestational age of the 28th week to the 40th week. Psychological changes in pregnant women are estimated to occur 80%. third trimester. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of hypnobirthing, yoga and pregnancy exercise on the anxiety level of third trimester pregnant women at BPM Griya Bunda Ceria in 2020. Research method: quantitative research, using the shapiro wilt test method with pre-test and post-test approaches. in this study were all third trimester pregnant women who checked their pregnancy at BPM Griya Bunda Ceria Palembang. Sampling using purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by means of observation using a questionnaire sheet. The results: obtained from a total of 15 respondents. Based on the results of the Shapiro Wilt test, the p-Value is 0.05 where >α = 0.05 means that there is a significant influence between before and after hypnobirthing is done.statistically, the p-Value is 0,000, meaning that there is a significant effect between before and after yoga. Thus the hypothesis which states that there is an effect of yoga on the anxiety level of pregnant women in the third trimester which is statistically proven based on the paired shapiro wilt test, the p-Value is 0.00 in yoga, p-Value is 0.00 in pregnancy exercise, and the statistical test results are said to be related if the value The calculated p-Value <= 0.05 then Ho is rejected, meaning that it is significant, so the conclusion is that the two variables have a relationship, on the contrary, if the calculated p-Value> = 0.05, then Ho is accepted, meaning that the two variables have no significant relationship.

Background: Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) as an indicator of maternal health during pregnancy, childbirth, and childbirth. Anemia contributes 20% to the incidence of maternal deaths caused by bleeding during labor. The government prevents anemia by giving iron tablets at least 90 tablets for pregnant women. However, the prevalence of anemia remains high, because of the low adherence in consuming Fe tablets every day. Self-efficacy adherence is a predictor of health behavior and adherence to treatment. Objective: To improve adherence with self-efficacy in consuming Fe tablets in pregnant women with health promotion and WhatsApp reminder in Yogyakarta City Health Center.Method: This study used a quasi-experiment method with a pre-test post-test non-equivalent control group design. The sample amounted to 59, the sampling technique used was consecutive sampling which was taken by random sampling technique in which samples were taken alternately to determine the intervention group and the control group. Results: There were significant differences in the self efficacy score between the intervention groups (Mean = 6.30, SD = 8.11) and the control group (Mean = 0.89, SD = 7.83) with t-test = 2.60 and ρ = 0.012.Conclusion: There is a significant difference in self-efficacy adherence with consuming Fe tablets in pregnant women before and after being given health promotion and WhatsApp reminder intervention and control groups. Health service agencies can consider the combined service between health promotion and WhatsApp reminder to improve self-efficacy in adhering to consuming Fe tablets in increasing Hb levels in anemic pregnant women.

Aim. To study capabilities of quantitative elastographic study to assess the elasticity of the uterine cervix in women with a fetal chromosomal abnormality in the first trimester of pregnancy.Methods. 230 pregnant women of high-risk group at 11-13.6 weeks of pregnancy (parietal-coccygeal length 45-84 mm) were included in this study. The first group consisted of 213 women without fetal pathology. The second group included 17 women, in whose fetuses different chromosomal abnormalities were detected. In ultrasound examination of pregnant women in the I trimester of pregnancy, in addition to standard methods of examination, quantitative cervical elastography was performed.Results. According to results of quantitative elastography in 14 (82.35%) out of 17 pregnant women (second group) one or another degree of the cervical tissue softening was found, and 3 (17.64%) pregnant women with fetal chromosomal pathology had stiff cervix (all 3 cases with Down syndrome). In the control group in 10 (4.7%) of 213 pregnant women relatively soft cervix was identified, and in 203 (95.3%) women cervical density was higher than the myometrial density. A statistically significant difference between the indices of SWE-Ratio in groups was revealed. Quantitative elastography, as a diagnostic test predicting the risk of miscarriage due to chromosomal abnormalities, has a high sensitivity (84.38%) and even higher specificity (95.26%) of negative predictive value 97.57%.Conclusion. Quantitative elastography reveals a significant decrease in the cervical elasticity (softening) in pregnant women with fetal chromosomal abnormality in the I trimester of pregnancy, which allows us to recommend this method of ultrasound examination as an additional marker for early diagnosis of miscarriage due to fetal chromosomal abnormality.

The kidneys are organs of the body that function to regulate water balance in the body, the concentration of electrolytes in the blood and acid-base balance and secretion of waste material. If the kidney fails to function, the patient will need immediate treatment and even undergo hemodialysis (HD) therapy. A critical indicator in determining whether a person with impaired kidney function requires HD therapy is to know the creatinine level. The study aimed to ascertain the differences in creatinine levels pre and post HD also study the relationship between the age, gender, duration and frequency of HD therapy of respondents with the decrease of creatinine levels pre and post. Type of research detailed survey with a cross-sectional design. The sample was taken using a total sampling technique of 35 respondents from H BadaruddinKasimHospitalin Tanjung with a sample examination technique using the Jaffe method. The examination results of creatinine levels average for pre and post hemodialysis was11,36 and 5,58 mg/dl, which decreased 51%. The analysis statistically used Paired T-Test has a p-value = 0,000, indicating a significant difference for creatinine levels pre and post HD. Relationship between Age, Gender, Duration, and Frequency of HD Therapy with the decrease of creatinine levels pre and post HD was analyzed with Spearmen correlation and had p values more than 0,05. It means there was no relation between them. Conclusion there were significant differences in creatinine levels reduction pre and post HD while the relationship between the four of respondent characteristics to the magnitude of creatinine reduction show that there was no significant relationship.
