The article analyses the psychological literature on the problem of senior pupils’ professional self-determination. The author’s theoretical and methodological position is elaborated and the results of its approbation are presented. It is shown that the available approaches can be divided into two main groups. Some researchers focus on the goal and end result of vocational self-determination, while others seek to reveal the algorithm of the process itself and/or its stages. Researchers are unanimous in their opinion that the choice of an occupation by senior pupils is the first and most responsible stage of professional self-determination for the individual as a whole. At the same time, the senior pupils’ professional self-determination concepts, which would reflect the unity of theoretical positions and methods of its study, are practically not presented in national psychology. To overcome the existing limitations, the article proposes to consider the senior pupils’ professional self-determination from the position of the activity approach as a special kind of activity with its own structure. The motivational component is the motives for choosing a career, while the operational component is the senior pupils’ professional identity status. The empirical study results of the of formation level of senior pupils’ professional self-determination are discussed on the basis of the activity methodology.

In this article we elucidate our understanding of the utility of a particular posthumanist lens to expose the fragility of compulsory ablebodiedness. Compulsory ablebodiedness is a central tool of crip theory that shows us how society reproduces disability as an expression of an ableist ideology. This positions those perceived as having ‘less-than-able’ bodies and minds as subaltern. Adopting our methodological position from crip theory, we explore how dis§abled bodies are co-produced along with the environments in which they pursue sport. Interpreting ethnographic data with, in, and around dis§abled bodies, we examine their lived realities and performed identities as biopolitical assemblages that are, at one and the same time, both subject and object in a state of what we term complex dis§able embodiment. The article begins by acknowledging the existence of disablism while also exploring the ideology of ableism, which leads to the social marginalisation of nonnormative bodies. We then articulate dis§ability as a choregraphed tango in which bodies and their environments are co-constituted, before cripping ableism in and through three manifestations of dis§abled sporting bodies. The end goal is to facilitate the celebration of nonnormativity as a positive expression of the plurality of human existence.

The essence and development of forms of ownership is an insufficiently researched problem. As its analysis, we used the general methodological position of K. Marx on the nature and method of combining labour power with the means of production, namely, the interaction of its two sides, that is, the features of direct production. In this process, the essence of human activity is revealed, on the one hand, he changes the content of the means of production, and on the other hand, he develops his abilities and thereby changes the content of labour, that is, connections and relations, forms of movement of labour power and means of production are revealed in it, expressed by categories and laws. As a result of the study of the interaction of labour power with the means of production, the nature and method of combining labour power with the means of production was substantiated as a category and laws of property development. The purpose of the article is to reveal the meaning of the nature and method of combining labour power with the means of production in the development of property. The methodological basis of the research was the materialist dialectic. This article is a summary of a new system of views on the explanation of the genesis and development of ownership of the means of production.

In this article, the authors consider a psychological and pedagogical problem – the possibility of electronic control-monitoring of the dynamics of the development of cognitive abilities of students. At the same time, the cognitive abilities of a person from a psychological point of view are understood as an integral system construction. The cognitive sphere of an individual, according to the authors of this article, is not limited to intelligence, but it is its fundamental component, as well as cognitive abilities, having their own specific functions, form a single system with individual psychological characteristics. This is the methodological position of the authors of the article. Special attention is drawn to the conceptual construct of the text presented. It is emphasized that an interdisciplinary approach to research can provoke terminological inaccuracy. In this regard, the authors pay close attention to the categorical apparatus, the correct interpretation of terms that provide the semantic basis for interdisciplinary research. The article substantiates the need to develop a comprehensive computer program. It is noted that a complex software can provide electronic monitoring and correction of the values of integral psychological indicators of the formation of cognitive functional connections in the psychological structure of the cognitive sphere of students’ personality in real-time mode.

Drawing on hemispheric, oceanic, and southern theory approaches, this article argues for the value of considering the nineteenth-century literary cultures of the southern settler colonies of Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa from within an interconnected frame of analysis. First, because of their distinctive historical and structural conditions; second, because of the density of their interregional networks and relations across intersecting oceanic spaces; and third, because of the long history of racialized imperialist imaginaries of the south. This methodological position rethinks current approaches to “British world” studies in two important ways: first, by decoupling the southern settler colonies from studies of settler colonialism in North America; and second, by rebalancing its metropolitan and northern locus by considering south-south networks and relations across a complex of southern islands, oceans, and continents. Without suggesting either that imperial intercultural exchanges with Britain are unimportant or that there is a culturally homogenous body of pan-southern writing, we argue that nineteenth-century literary culture from colonial Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa — what we call a “southern archive” — can provide a counterbalance to northern biases and provide new purchase on nation-centred literary paradigms — one that reveals not just south-south transnational exchanges and structural homologies between southern genres, themes, and forms, but also allows us to acknowledge the important challenges to foundational accounts of national literary canons initiated by southern theory and Indigenous studies scholars.

The digital transformation of economic and social sectors is conditioned by the need for a critical reflection of the cultural processes taking place in modern society under the influence of transition to sustainable development. The latter is accompanied with decreasing of waste and pollution, expanding of lean production, settling the new nonmaterial industries. Therefore, it is critically important to form special cultural conditions for industry digitalization – not for increasing use of natural resources, but for decreasing harmful influence on environment. The purpose of this article is an analytical review of the theory and methodology of the analysis of digital culture in the historical and sociocultural perspective. The analysis of modern theories of digital culture and approaches to the analysis of its formation, historical and cultural reconstruction of the formation of digital culture, the definition of the conceptual apparatus of digital culture research and information processes is carried out from a methodological position, according to which cultural research is based on the principles of historicism and functionality, priority of sustainable development values.

The article presents the authors’ experience in developing and applying criteria for assessing the results of the educational activities of students in the system of contemporary education. The necessity and expediency of its implementation are justified by the actual difficulty of objective assessment of the quality of educational results; reduction of the motivating function of the five-point assessment; as well as natural and personal uniqueness of each student as a subject of educational activity. The analysis of domestic and foreign studies on the problem of criteria-based assessment of learning results in the system of general and higher education shows that despite various approaches to the criteria-based assessment of learning results, the methodology of its development is not sufficiently covered in pedagogical science and practice. The present research aims to develop a pedagogically appropriate methodology for constructing a criteria-based assessment of the results of students’ educational activities. This methodology includes several interrelated actions: establishing three levels of students’ mastering of the content of each discipline; developing quantitative indicators and qualitative characteristics of each level; ensuring methodological development of requirements for each task; bringing to the attention of students the content of each level of mastering of the main educational program. An important condition is the ability to repeatedly correct each task to bring it to the highest possible level of perfection. The leading methodological position is given to the idea of the human’s inherent desire for success and to be the first. As the results of the conducted study show, the implementation of the proposed methodology naturally leads to an enhancement of the education quality, which is reliable proof of its scientific novelty.

On the basis of results of the analysis of restrictions of traditional paradigms of natural sciences (wholism, cybernetics, the system approach) and requirements of new paradigms (synergetics, the quantum theory of a field, universal evolutionism) the new theoretical basis of studying complex-organized, evoluting objects - the evolutional-wholeness approach is developed. Under the contents this conceptual device represents association of basic concepts («whole», «evolution», «generality of the material nature of objects», «self-organizing», «subjectness», «potentiality») and a principle of conformity of development of object to the general laws of evolution of a material world with concept the «wholeness», interpretive as set of conceptual representations about properties of an internal structure, functioning and development of investigated the whole. The given methodological position approves necessity of statement for the center of attention of scientific practice of a problem of evolution complex-organized object as the whole from a position of the general laws of evolution of a matter.
