Many studies in literature have shown that the bandwidth of an ongoing flow can dynamically change during multimedia sessions and an efficient bandwidth allocation scheme must be employed. This paper focuses its attention on the management of predictive services in Wireless Infrastructure Dynamic Networks. In particular, two classes of service are considered: NSIS-Mobility Independent Predictive and NSIS-Mobility Dependent Predictive, where NSIS is the Next Steps in Signaling protocol, employed for resources reservation in Integrated Services architectures. A general prediction technique is proposed, based both on the analysis of time spent into a cell by mobile nodes and on the probabilities of hand-in and hand-out events of mobile nodes from wireless cells. User mobility needs to be firstly analyzed and a novel realistic mobility model has been considered, differently from some existing works in which synthetic mobility is generated. The analysis of user mobility is mandatory when the reduction of passive resource reservations for NSIS-MIP users is desired, with a good enhancement in system utilization. Moreover, predictive reservation and admission control schemes have been integrated. The performance of the 2D wireless system is evaluated in terms of average system utilization, system outage probability, number of admitted flows and reservation prediction errors. We provided to carry out an extensive simulation campaign, in order to assess the goodness of the proposed idea: we verified that good results (in terms of perceived utility, bandwidth and admitted flows) can be obtained, outperforming also some existing works.

In addition to bubble number density, bubble size distribution is an important population parameter governing the activity of acoustic cavitation bubbles. In the present paper, an iterative numerical method for equilibrium size distribution is proposed and combined to a model for bubble counting, in order to approach the number density within a population of acoustic cavitation bubbles of inhomogeneous sizing, hence the sonochemical activity of the inhomogeneous population based on discretization into homogenous groups. The composition of the inhomogeneous population is analyzed based on cavitation dynamics and shape stability at 300 kHz and 0.761 W/cm2 within the ambient radii interval ranging from 1 to 5 µm. Unstable oscillation is observed starting from a radius of 2.5 µm. Results are presented in terms of number probability, number density, and volume probability within the population of acoustic cavitation bubbles. The most probable group having an equilibrium radius of 3 µm demonstrated a probability in terms of number density of 27%. In terms of contribution to the void, the sub-population of 4 µm plays a major role with a fraction of 24%. Comparisons are also performed with the homogenous population case both in terms of number density of bubbles and sonochemical production of HO●, HO2●, and H● under an oxygen atmosphere.

BACKGROUND Garlic-related misinformation is prevalent whenever a virus outbreak occurs. Again, with the outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), garlic-related misinformation is spreading through social media sites, including Twitter. Machine learning-based approaches can be used to detect misinformation from vast tweets. OBJECTIVE This study aimed to develop machine learning algorithms for detecting misinformation on garlic and COVID-19 in Twitter. METHODS This study used 5,929 original tweets mentioning garlic and COVID-19. Tweets were manually labeled as misinformation, accurate information, and others. We tested the following algorithms: k-nearest neighbors; random forest; support vector machine (SVM) with linear, radial, and polynomial kernels; and neural network. Features for machine learning included user-based features (verified account, user type, number of followers, and follower rate) and text-based features (uniform resource locator, negation, sentiment score, Latent Dirichlet Allocation topic probability, number of retweets, and number of favorites). A model with the highest accuracy in the training dataset (70% of overall dataset) was tested using a test dataset (30% of overall dataset). Predictive performance was measured using overall accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, and balanced accuracy. RESULTS SVM with the polynomial kernel model showed the highest accuracy of 0.670. The model also showed a balanced accuracy of 0.757, sensitivity of 0.819, and specificity of 0.696 for misinformation. Important features in the misinformation and accurate information classes included topic 4 (common myths), topic 13 (garlic-specific myths), number of followers, topic 11 (misinformation on social media), and follower rate. Topic 3 (cooking recipes) was the most important feature in the others class. CONCLUSIONS Our SVM model showed good performance in detecting misinformation. The results of our study will help detect misinformation related to garlic and COVID-19. It could also be applied to prevent misinformation related to dietary supplements in the event of a future outbreak of a disease other than COVID-19.

This research is based on observations of researchers at TK IT Al-Ittihad Rumbai PesisirPekanbaru City. In this observation the researchers concluded that kinesthetic intelligence requires good self-confidence. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of Confidence with Kinesthetic Intelligence in Children Aged 5-6 Years at TK IT Al-Ittihad Rumbai Pesisir, Pekanbaru City. This research is a quantitative study with the type of correlation research. The study population was children aged 5-6 years in TK IT Al-Ittihad Rumbai Pesisir Pekanbaru City, with the sample used amounted to 30 children aged 5-6 years. The data collection technique used is observation. Analysis of the study used Pearson product moment correlation test with nominal data characteristics with the help of SPSS IMB ver.24. Based on the calculation results of the correlation test, the results of the bivariate correlation coefficient obtained between Confidence with kinesthetic intelligence of rxy = 0.964. This shows that there is a relationship between self-confidence with kinesthetic intelligence. As an evaluation criterion, if probability> 0.05 then Ho is accepted, whereas if probability <0.05 then Ho is rejected (Syofian, 2014). In the correlation test table results obtained a probability number of 0,000, where 0,000 <0.05 then Ho is rejected. This means that there is a significant positive relationship between the two variables.

Abstract   Introduction: Attitude is the reaction or response of someone who is still closed to the stimulus or object. Sexually transmitted infections are diseases that can be transmitted from one person to another through sexual contact. Premarital adolescent sexual intercourse is sexual intercourse carried out by adolescents before marriage. This study is to understand the relationship of adolescents about sexually transmitted infections with premarital sex in the Independent Practice of the Jombang Regional Midwife in 2019. Method: The research method used is correlational analytic with cross sectional research, that is, research that requires measurement / observation time, variable, free and variable data, which is collected simultaneously at a certain time, so it does not need to be continued. The population of young women in the Independent Practice of the Jombang Regional Midwife is 92 people. The sample of this study was 75 people. Results: The results of this study are Adolescent attitudes about infectious infections more than half of 45 respondents (60%) with positive attitudes and attitudes about premarital sex more than half 45 respondents (62.7%) with positive attitudes. Conclusion: The results of the analysis using the Chi-Square statistical test, obtained the probability number (p) = 0,000 <(α = 0.05), then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is a relationship with women about the protection of sexually transmitted sex with premarital sex in Independent Practice of the Jombang Regional Midwife in 2019. Efforts should be made to overcome the problems of open sharing or consultation of related issues or protected matters in the BK (Counseling Guidance) and also as midwives their knowledge of premarital sex should be increased   Keywords: attitude, sexually transmitted infections, premarital sex

Abstract This paper measures the performance of cooperative spectrum sensing, over Rayleigh fading channel and additive white Gaussian noise, based on softened two-bit hard combination scheme. Two measures based on energy detection are considered including effect of false alarm probability, and effect of number of users. Simulation results show that the detection probability increases with the increase of false alarm probability, number of users, and signal-to-noise-ratio.
