Linking Human Capital Resourcing Practices and Performance of Financial Cooperatives in Kenya: Does Presence of Formal Human Resource Department Matter?

Financial cooperatives are collectively one of the key drivers of Kenyan economy. Thus, this research sought to investigate the relationship between human capital (HC) resourcing practices and performance of these organizations. Performance as the dependent variable was conceptualized to have two dimensions, financial and non-financial. Data was collected from 340 financial cooperatives within Nairobi County. Simple random sampling technique was used in selecting organizations from where data was collected. Both interview and questionnaire methods were used to collect qualitative and quantitative data, respectively. The findings indicated that presence of formal HR department within an organization leads to better HC resourcing practices as compared to a situation where there is no formal HRM department. The study found a significant relationship between HC resourcing practices and performance of financial cooperatives. Further, the study recommends those organizations without formal HRM departments to create them. Additionally, so as to enjoy higher levels of performance and reduce labour turnover, financial cooperatives need to improve their HC resourcing practices.

The background of this research is the low performance of Paket C tutor in PKBM Karang Taruna Kembang Delima. This is allegedly due to the low satisfaction of the tutor's work. The purpose of this research is to make the job satisfaction of tutor, to describe the performance of the package tutor, and to see the relationship of job satisfaction with the performance of the Paket C tutor in PKBM Karang Taruna Kembang Delima. This research is correlational research, with population is tutor of Paket C which amounted to 33 people, sample taken 90% from population that is 30 people with sampling technique that is simple random sampling. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, and data collection tools using questionnaires. Data analysis techniques to describe job satisfaction and performance tutor using the formula percentage, and to see the relationship of job satisfaction with the performance tutor technique data analysis using product moment correlation formula. The results of this study indicate that (1) the satisfaction of Paket C tutor in PKBM Karang Taruna Kembang Delima is low category, (2) the performance of tutor of Paket C package in PKBM Karang Taruna Kembang Delima category low, and (3) there is a significant relationship between job satisfaction with the performance of Paket C tutor in PKBM Karang Taruna Kembang Delima. It is suggested to the manager to improve the work satisfaction of tutors in terms of feelings of pleasure in work and a good working environment for the performance of tutors can increase.

The aim of this research is; 1) investigating the level of online learning satisfaction among students during COVID 19; 2) analyzing the influence of differences in gender, years of study, major in determining online learning satisfaction among students during COVID 19; 3) to analyze the relationship between online learning satisfaction and student academic achievement during COVID 19. The population was 656 students at STKIP Singkawang, and then a sample of 357 students (87 males and 270 females) was taken using a simple random sampling technique. The instrument in this study was adapted from Aman's Satisfaction instrument, which was then used to collect research data. Data analysis using SPSS with descriptive statistical techniques, MANOVA, and correlation. The results showed that online learning satisfaction was at a high level, meaning that students were satisfied with the online learning that had been implemented. The major differences have a significant effect on determining online learning satisfaction. Intercorrelation shows that there is a significant relationship on each indicator of online learning satisfaction with academic achievement, meaning that the higher the satisfaction felt by students in online learning, the student's academic achievement will increase.

The sampling technique can be done randomly (simple random sampling) of 852 employees, which is considered to resprentatif is 89 people. And to solve problems, to analyze and examine the relationship and influence between the independent variables on the dependent variable used models kausalistik through regression analysis with SPSS 14.0

Postpartum hemorrhage is bleeding that occurs after the birth of the baby, placenta, and 2 hours after the placenta is born. One of the causes is anemia. Research in 2015, 60% of 100 mothers giving birth at RSIA Kirana Taman Sidoarjo experienced postpartum hemorrhage. The aim of the study was to determine the relationship of anemia in pregnancy with the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage in labor mothers. The study design used an analytical survey with a retrospective method. The population of 206 maternity mothers was taken with simple random sampling technique as many as 136 samples in August 2017. Data were analyzed by Chi Square statistical test with 0.05. The results showed that postpartum hemorrhage was more experienced by mothers with anemia (66.7%) than  those without anemia (26.2%). While those who did not experience postpartum hemorrhage were more experienced by mothers who were not anemic (73.8%) than those who were anemic (33.3%). Chi square test results  (p=0.000  <0.05),  which means there is a relationship  of anemia in pregnancy with the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage in labor mothers. Conclusions of the study were the relationship of anemia in pregnancy with the  incidence  of postpartum hemorrhage in labor mothers. It is expected that midwives and doctors conduct early detection of anemia so that appropriate care can be carried out.

Instagram is one of the most popular social media for the public. One difference between Instagram and other social media, is that instamam is more likely to be used to find information and share information with users than to interact directly with fellow users. The purpose of this study is to find out and explain the motives and active user satisfaction in using Instagram social media and find out the relationship between the motives and satisfaction of Instagram social media usage. This study uses use and gratification theory which assumes that individuals have certain goals in using media. The method used in this research is quantitative research methods. The data collection tool is the questionnaire has been validated. The research sample was 70 people. The sampling technique is simple random sampling. The statistic test that the researchers used was the Partial Correlation Test (Pearson Product Moment). Data is processed using SPSS version 20. The results of this study indicate users want to get information and knowledge that is happening at the present time. Information satisfaction becomes the most obtained by Instagram social media users. Overall Instagram social media has given satisfaction to users and there is a significant relationship between motives and satisfaction.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hubungan: budaya sekolah dengan kinerja guru; komunikasi dengan kinerja guru; budaya sekolah dengan komitmen; komunikasi dengan komitmen, komitmen dengan kinerja guru; budaya sekolah dengan kinerja melalui komitmen; komunikasi dengan kinerja guru melalui komitmen. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 250 orang guru di 100 Sekolah yang dipilih secara stratified proporsional random sampling dari populasi sebesar 2.276 orang guru yang tersebar di 274 SD Negeri di Kota Banjarmasin. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriftip dan analisi jalur. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa budaya sekolah memiliki hubungan dengan kinerja, komunikasi memiliki hubungan dengan kinerja, budaya sekolah memiliki hubungan dengan komitmen, komunikasi memiliki hubungan dengan komitmen, komitmen memiliki hubungan dengan kinerja guru, komitmen merupakan perantara hubugan budaya sekolah dengan kinerja guru dan hubungan komunikasi dengan kinerja guru. The sample consisting of 250 teachers from 100 schools was selected using the stratified proportional random sampling technique from a population of 2,276 teachers teaching in 274 state elementary schools in Banjarmasin Municipality. The data were collected using an instrument which had been validated and which was reliable. The data were analyzed using the descriptive analysis and the path analysis. The findings showed that there was relationship between: school culture and teachers’ performance, communication and performance, school culture and commitment, communication and commitment, commitment and teachers’ performance. Commitment became an intervening variable between school culture and teachers’ performance and between communication and teachers’ performance. This research was conducted to determine the relationship between the quality of the Principal's leadership and organizational culture with the performance of SMAN 28 Tangerang District employees. The study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive correlational survey method, using correlation theory which is about product moment. Research data collection techniques from respondents carried out through questionnaires or questionnaires. The sample population was 103 employees in each section of SMAN 28 Tangerang, with simple random sampling technique. The magnitude of the effect of leadership quality and organizational culture together on employee performance by 87.2% This shows the higher the quality of leadership and organizational culture, the better the performance of employees, and vice versa the lower the quality of leadership and organizational culture will have an impact for employee performance.

<p><em>This study aimed to measure the effect of authentic leadership on employee performance of the part-time employee of a manufacturing company in Tangerang which is mediated by readiness for change mentality. Data collection was done by simple random sampling technique and the returned and valid questionnaire results were 109 samples. Data processing was used SEM method with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study concluded that <em>authentic</em> leadership has a significant effect on <em>readiness for change</em> and employee performance. This study conclude also that readiness for change have a positive and significant effect on the relationship between <em><em>authentic</em></em> leadership and employee performance. Readiness for change as a mediator. This new research proposed a model for building employee performance among the part-time employee of <em>the manufacturing</em> industry in Tangerang through enhancing <em><em>authentic</em></em> leadership practice with readiness for change as a mediator. This research could pave the way to improve employee readiness in facing the era of industrial revolution 4.0.</em></p>

<p><em>The number of medical personnel in the Padang City is still a shortage of the amount required is 83 people, but this time medical personnel numbered 53 people. This research was carried out by combining two types of research are mixed method, preceded by a quantitative research with cross sectional approach, followed by qualitative research. The study was conducted in Primary Health Care Padang City. The population in this study are all medical personnel in the Padang City with a sample of 38 people, with a sampling technique is simple random sampling. The bivariate analysis known there are significant relationship between work (p = 0,023), compensation (p = 0,001), supervision (p = 0,001) and the relationship between employees (p = 0,000) with job satisfaction. But there is no relationship promotion with job satisfaction (p = 0,208). The conclusion of the study there are significant relationship between work, compensation, supervision and the relationship between employees with job satisfaction.</em></p>

In general, the process of each child's developmental stages is the same, that is the result of the maturation process. But in accomplishment, every child has a different speed.  Based on the initial survey 5 (50%) children doubt in the development. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship among nutritional status with the development of children age toddler. This research design using correlation analytical method with Cross Sectional approach. The number of 45 samples of children under five with simple random sampling technique with the independent variable of nutritional status and the dependent variable of development, analysis using Spearmen test with ρ <0.05. The test results obtained significant 0.002 (ρ <0.05).  Shows there is a relationship of nutritional status with the development of children age toddler. Mother's efforts to improve the development of toddler age children by improving nutritional status that includes 4 healthy 5 perfect in accordance with the needs of children aged toddler and provides stimulation of development through the provision of educational games and immediately bring the child to health personnel if there is suspected deviation of development
