The cohesiveness and participation of members is one element of the dynamics of the farmer group in the process of achieving goals. The ability of Rejeki Lumintu farmer groups to achieve their goals and to face various conditions are influenced by the level of cohesiveness and member participation. Cohesiveness can be a motivation for members to participate. The aims of this study were to determine the level of cohesiveness and participation of group members, as well as the relationship of cohesiveness to member participation in the Rejeki Lumintu farmer groups. The study was conducted in February 2020 in the Rejeki Lumintu Farmer Group, Gunungpati District. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method by scoring answers to the research instruments which are then analyzed statistically to determine the level of cohesiveness and participation as well as the relationship between the two variables. The results show that the level of cohesiveness and member participation was classified as good with a percentage score of 72.2% and 72.8%. There is a relationship between cohesiveness and member participation with a correlation coefficient of 0.905 which is classified as very strong. The relationship that formed makes group participation will increase when cohesiveness has increased.  Keywords: Farmer Group, Cohesiveness, Participation

ABSTRACTCooperatives as one of the sectors of economic power that is considered the most suitable developed in Indonesia, because formed by members and aims for the welfare of its members. Pesantren as a grassroots Islamic educational institution also develops Koperasi Pondok Pesantren (Kopontren) by fostering farmer groups. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship of individual characteristics (age, education level, length of work, and income level), social capital, and participation of farmer group members in Kopontren Alif agribusiness activities. The result of the research shows that there is no significant correlation between individual characteristic with social capital and participation, except the age relation with participation, but the relation is negative. While social capital with participation has a significant and strong relationship. This is due to the high social capital with the participation of farmer group members in the activities of Kopontren Alif agribusiness.Keywords: farmer groups, individual characteristic, kopontren, social capital, participation. ABSTRAKKoperasi sebagai salah satu sektor kekuatan ekonomi yang dianggap paling cocok dikembangkan di Indonesia, karena dibentuk oleh anggota dan bertujuan untuk kesejahteraan anggotanya. Pesantren sebagai lembaga pendidikan Islam yang bersifat akar rumput turut mengembangkan koperasi pondok pesantren (Kopontren) dengan membina kelompok tani. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis hubungan karakteristik individu (usia, tingkat pendidikan, lama bekerja, dan tingkat pendapatan), modal sosial, dan partisipasi anggota kelompok tani binaan dalam kegiatan agribisnis Kopontren Alif. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan signifikan antara karakteristik individu dengan modal sosial dan partisipasi, kecuali hubungan usia dengan partisipasi, namun hubungannya negatif. Sedangkan modal sosial dengan partisipasi memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dan kuat. Hal ini dikarenakan tingginya modal sosial dengan partisipasi anggota kelompok tani dalam kegiatan agribisnis Kopontren Alif.Kata kunci: karakteristik individu, kelompok tani, kopontren, modal sosial, partisipasi.

<p>The purpose of this study was to study the motivation and work discipline on the work productivity of the Polytechnic LP3I Jakarta North Jakarta Campus. This research was conducted with a method of collecting data by distributing questionnaires to 30 employees of the LP3I Jakarta Polytechnic North Jakarta Campus. This research uses quantitative descriptive method with multiple linear analysis techniques. The hypothesis test used is the F test and t test.The results of this study indicate the relationship between motivation (X1) to work productivity of 0.594, as well as work discipline variables (X2) to work productivity (Y) has a relationship of 0.389. Motivation (X1) and work discipline (X2) on work productivity (Y) are carried out simultaneously showing a relationship of 0.608 and having an influence of 39.60%.The relationship between motivation and dissipilin work on work productivity both partially and simultaneously has a strong correlation. LP3I Jakarta Polytechnic Motivation and work discipline towards the work motivation of North Jakarta Campus have better work motivation and discipline competence.</p><p><strong>Keywords: </strong>Motivation, Work Discipline and Work Productivity.</p>

Задачей данной статьи является рассмотрение лингвопрагматических особенностей комментариев пользователей социальной сети «Твиттер» на выход Великобритании из ЕС. Анализ данных комментариев с лингвопрагматической точки зрения представляет интерес, так как показывает наиболее актуальную картину отношения пользователей социальных сетей к произошедшему событию. Приоритетными методами анализа лингвопрагматического потенциала Интернет-комментариев для нас являются: описательный метод, метод прагматического анализа, т.е. рассмотрение языкового материала в его непосредственном контексте в функциональном аспекте, метод частичной выборки, метод контекстологического описания. Контекстуальный метод был использован с целью установления особенностей комментариев в среде социальной сети «Твиттер»; описательный метод - для выявления непосредственного отношения пользователей социальных сетей к выходу Великобритании из ЕС; частичной выборки - для отбора наиболее эффективных и целостных комментариев с позиции прагматики и их реализации в данном контексте. Проведённое исследование позволило установить, что большинство людей удовлетворено результатами выхода Великобритании из ЕС и положительно отзывается об этом событии. Об этом свидетельствует как большое количество экспрессивов, использованных в интернет-комментариях в отношении данного события, так и активное употребление в них оценочной лексики. Результаты проведённого исследования могут быть применены в теоретических работах по описанию характеристик речевых актов, в курсе теоретической грамматики, стилистики, прагмалингвистики. The purpose of this article is to review the linguo-pragmatic features of Brexit represented in the comments in Twitter. Their analysis from a linguistic-pragmatic point of view may be of interest, since it shows the most relevant picture of the relationship of social network users for the event. The priority methods for analyzing the linguo-pragmatic potential of Internet comments for us are: a descriptive method, a pragmatic analysis method, i.e. consideration of linguistic material in its immediate context in the functional aspect, partial sampling method, contextual description method. The contextual method was used to establish the characteristics of comments on the Twitter social network; descriptive method was used to identify the direct relationship of social network users to the UK exit from the EU; partial sampling was used to select the most effective and holistic comments from the position of pragmatics and their implementation in this context. The study found that most people are satisfied with the results of the UK exit from the EU and respond positively to this event. The results of the study can be applied in theoretical works on the description of the characteristics of speech acts, in the course of theoretical grammar, stylistics, pragmalinguistics.

Generally, activities conducted by people generate waste. The waste which increasingly rises causing a big problem. Therefore, the role of community in waste management will strongly support the process of solving the waste problem in the community. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of engagement and active participation of citizens, as reflected in the attitude of citizens in the activities related to the response to the waste problem in the community. A descriptive method was used in this study to describe the involvement and participation in the prevention of waste. The result showed that the paradigm of PSBM (community-based waste management) appeared sporadically and has not yet received the maximum support from regional governments. A paradigm which is “people pay, the government manages“, has grown within the community for years. It would hardly change people’s behaviour patterns in solving the waste problem in the community since changing the city into a city that is clean, comfortable and healthy involved many parties, including the community.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menguji dampak gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, budaya sekolah, dan motivasi terhadap kinerja guru di SMP Swasta Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar. Jumlah anggota populasi adalah 31 orang. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan kuesioner atau sensus. Instrumen penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner yang dibagikan secara langsung kepada responden untuk mencari data yang berhubungan dengan penelitian ini. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif dan analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian dan hasil pengumpulan data menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial, variabel gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, variabel budaya sekolah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, dan variabel motivasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja guru. Temuan empiris tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru, maka SMP Swasta Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar perlu memperhatikan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja guru, seperti kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, budaya sekolah, dan motivasi.  Dengan mengetahui pengaruh hubungan tersebut dapat dijadikan sebagai parameter untuk merancang strategi dimasa yang akan datang guna meningkatkan kinerja guru. AbstractThis study aims to examine the impact of principals' leadership style, school culture, and motivation on teacher performance at Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar Middle School. The number of members of the population is 31 people. Therefore, this study uses a quantitative descriptive method using a questionnaire or census. The research instrument in this study is a questionnaire that was distributed directly to respondents to look for data related to this study. The data analysis method used is the quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. The results of the study and the results of data collection showed that partially, the principal leadership style variable had a significant effect on teacher performance, the school culture variable had a significant effect on teacher performance, and the motivation variable had a significant effect on teacher performance. The empirical findings indicate that to improve teacher performance, Sultan Agung Pematangsiantar Middle School needs to pay attention to the factors that influence teacher performance, such as principals' leadership, school culture, and motivation. Because by knowing the effect of the relationship can be used as a parameter to design a strategy in the future to improve teacher performance.

This research aims to find out how implementation of the financial compensation and performance job of PT Penggadaian (Persero) Branch  of Jambi. Next also to analyze implamentation and how the influence of financial compensation on performance job in PT Penggadaian (Persero) of Banch Jambi. This research uses descriptive method quantitative correlational research with the form that describes the relationship of independent variables with dependent variables. The research on the analysis tools using simple regression with hypothesis prove with statistical tests t. The results showed that a significant effect on performance financial compensation of performance job which are characterized by tcount > ttable and Prog. sig < α (0.05). While the correlation value i.e. 64% of these mean that have relationship very closely between financial compensation variables with variable performance job.

The formulation of this research problem is how the influence of Leadership and Job Satisfaction on Work Discipline at Balai Diklat Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Pematangsiantar. The research method used in this paper is literature research and field research. Its population is employees of Balai Diklat Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Pematangsiantar amounted to 57 people. The data used are data by qualitative and qualitative data, and data collection techniques by questionnaire, interview and documentation. Then the technique of data analysis using qualitative descriptive method and quantitative descriptive method. Results of analysis of multiple linier regression is Ŷ = 26,243 + 1,232X1 + 0,681X2, means there is a positive influence between leadership and job satisfaction on work discipline. The strength of the relationship between the three variables is strong, is r = 0,752. From the coefficient of determination can be explained high low work discipline 56,5%, and the remaining 43,5% explained by other factors that are not discussed in this study. From the results of processing and calculation of the questionnaire, the authors get the conclusion that the leadership and job satisfaction applied Balai Diklat Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Pematangsiantar have a positive and significant effect on work discipline. This is proven by hypothesis testing simultaneously, where the test result fhitung (35,062)> fhitung (3,17) with significance level 0,000 < alpha 0,05. Domestic violence against children and adolescents is a public health issue, as it jeopardizes development. The purpose of this study was to identify parents 'or guardians' understanding of domestic violence. Descriptive method that sought evidence through the application of a questionnaire used by Biscegli et al. (2008). The results were analyzed by Chi-square and Fisher's exact tests, in which the parents or guardians would never agree to any punishment by the employees, 46.9% agree that the best way would be conversation and 85% that the spanking impairs the relationship. Of the respondents with more than two children, 88.2% believe that cursing the child causes harm, but for those with two or less, this rate drops to 50%. We conclude that the guardians of the children demonstrated a satisfactory level of knowledge about child violence but did not discard the cultural influence and the possibility of practicing certain types of violence.

<div class="WordSection1"><p><em><span>Group cohesiveness as a dynamic process that is seen from the interest and attachment of relationships between members is an important thing that must be owned by farmer groups. The cohesiveness of shallot farmer groups in Mijen Sub-district, Demak Regency is influenced by several factors, one of which is interpersonal attractiveness. Cohesive groups make it easier to transfer information. The purpose of this study was to examine the level of interpersonal attractiveness of farmer group members, to examine the level of cohesiveness of farmer groups and to analyze the effect of interpersonal attractiveness on the cohesiveness of the shallot farmer group. The research method used was a saturated sample by taking all groups of shallot farmers in Mijen Sub-district, Demak Regency as samples in the study. Methods of data analysis using descriptive quantitative and simple regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that the level of interpersonal attractiveness of members of the shallot farmer group in Mijen Sub-district, Demak Regency is classified as very high or reaches 46.88%. The level of group cohesiveness is high, reaching 47.70%. Interpersonal attractiveness has a significant effect of 28% on the cohesiveness of farmer groups and the other 72% is influenced by other factors outside the study. Suggestions from the research that has been carried out are to maintain the social activities that have been carried out from the simplest things</span></em><span>.</span></p></div>

This study was conducted to determine the relationship of birth weight of calves, sex ratio of the calves, and the age of the dam to the length of pregnancy in buffaloes resulting from artificial insemination in Kampar District. The method used in this research is the descriptive method by displaying the average and standard deviation. The total number of buffaloes that were artificially inseminated in 2018 and gave birth in 2019 was 21 buffalo-cows. Data were analyzed with the Pearson Product Moment (PPM) correlation. The parameters measured in this study were the length of pregnancy, calf birth weight, calf sex ratio, and dam’s age. The results showed a positive correlation between the birth weight of the calves, sex ratio of the calves, and the age of the dam to the length of pregnancy of 1.4%, with an average length of pregnancy, calf birth weight, and sex ratio of 351.81 days, 27.38 kg, and 1: 1 respectively.
