<p>The purpose of this study is to determine: (1) knowing Allah as the primary basis noble character education, (2) the method to integrate knowing Allah in nurturing students with noble character, (3) the function of knowing Allah in the formation of noble character, (4) the goal of developing knowing Allah in the improvement of noble character. This study takes the form of literature studies (library research), The findings of the study indicate: (1) knowing Allah as the primary basis of noble character education, to know Allah is the obligation of every human being, as mentioned in al-Qur’an and al-Sunnah, because by knowing Allah then people will know themselves. According to al-Ghazali, a person would not be able to achieve a degree of knowing Allah before he knows himself. Thus, the ability of human to achieve the degree of knowing Allah depends on his ability to know himself. (2) Methods for the integration of noble character in coaching students. First, the coaching. Through the coaching of this character it can be seen how the Islamic attention to the development of the soul should take precedence over physical development, because in this good soul will be born good deeds that in the next step will facilitate to produce goodness and happiness to all human life, both physically and spiritually. Second, the habituation. Al-Ghazali explains that habituation method is performed by repeating the experience in doing something that leaves good impressions in the soul. Third, exemplary. Exemplary method proposed by al-Ghazali is a series of conformity with the concept of educational methods applied by other experts, both in the past and present, and this exemplary method is always relevant and actual to date as well as highly relevant to the method of Islamic education. (3) the function of knowing God in the formation of a noble character. As the science of the most high and noble rank in comparison with the knowledge that exist in this world, then this knowing Allah presumably can be a principal focus and commitment that must be understood and considered by every human being, the results will be delivered to the happiness of man, salvation, tranquility and peace of body and soul, as well as the delights and pleasures of worship to Allah. (4) The purpose of the increase of knowing Allah in the development of noble character is as a director that will direct the orientation of the life of a Muslim.</p>

It is natural that morality is a very important foundation in human life. So the formation of character (morals) is part of the main mission of the Prophet Muhammad. Therefore in forming character, it is important to have a formulation of the organization of Islamic education as character education. In formulating it back to the source of Allah's guidance in His shari'a. This study aims to determine the character building of children with the approach of al-Qur'an based education. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research (library research). The conclusion of this study is the education of the Qur'an gradually bringing someone to knowledge who finally was able to practice and reflect in everyday life into a praiseworthy personality. To get a proper understanding of the study of the Qur'an, it is necessary to approach it to reflect what is being read.

Education must have a good and robust foundation, because with this foundation, the direction of the implementation of education is not merely a momentary shock or turmoil. The foundation of knowledge is an essential in the process of advancingeducation. The aim of this study is to find out how is the importance of charactereducation from the Islamic point of view. The data were gained through library research or document research. The result shows the importance of character education from Islamic law insight. The basis of education is a fundamental problem because the primary school will determine the style and content of learning. In the meantime, its relation to Islamic teaching, the basis or foundation of Islamic education, is the foundation that forms the basis or principle to stand tall. Therefore, the basis of Islamic culture must be considered comprehensively in revealing through the next educational steps. Al-Qur'an and Hadith are sources of Islamic law and complete knowledge, covering the whole of human life, both the world and the hereafter. Both become an apparent clue for humans and the pace of their lives at all times.

Kedudukan dan fungsi bahasa sebagai alat komunikasi manusia mencakup seluruh bidang kehidupan termasuk ilmu pengetahuan antara lain terkait sejarah peradaban manusia; bagaimana manusia mempertahankan hidupnya, bagaimana manusia memperlakukan alam, bagaimana alam menyediakan segala kebutuhan manusia. Apa yang dilakukan manusia saat ini, saat lampau, dan apa yang dilakukan manusia jauh di masa prasejarah, bagaimana kondisi alam di masa-masa tersebut, apa perubahan dan perkembangannya, dapat didokumentasikan melalui bahasa, divisualisasikan kembali, lalu dipajang sebagai salah satu upaya konversai dan preservasi dalam satu institusi yang disebut museum. Penelitian ini membahas kedudukan dan fungsi bahasa dalam permuseuman. Bagaimana kedudukan dan fungsi bahasa dalam permuseuman baik dalam informasi yang disampaikan oleh pemandu wisata museumnya maupun yang terpajang menyertai benda-benda dan gambar-gambar merupakan tujuan dari penelitian ini. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah gabungan antara metode lapangan dan metode literatur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum kedudukan bahasa Indonesia berada pada urutan pertama setelah Bahasa Inggris dan keberadaan kedua bahasa dalam permuseuman ini melibatkan dua fungsi utama bahasa, yakni fungsi komunikatif dan fungsi informatif.The existence and function of language  as a medium of communication covers all fields of human life including knowledge, one of them is the history of human civilization; how humans survived, how human utilized nature for their lives, and how nature provides all the necessities for humans. What humans have been doing now, what they have done in the past and far before that in the pre-history time, how the conditions of the nature at those times were and what changes as well as progresses occurred are documented using language, then re-visualized,  displayed as one of conservation and preservation acts in an institution called museum. This research discusess the existence and function of language in museums. How important the existence of a language in museums and what language functions used in museums both in informations given by the museum guides and on the displays accompanying objects and pictures are the aims of this research. The methods used are the combination between field research and library research. The results show that generally the existence of Indonesian language plays more important role than English and both languages have two main functions; communicative function and informative function.

This study aims to describe: 1) the objectives of Islamic Education according to Ibn Khaldun, 2) the concept of contextual learning according to Ibn Khaldun, 3) the relevance of Ibn Khaldun's educational thought to modern contextual learning. The research method used in this study is library research. While the analytical method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that, 1) the purpose of Ibn Khaldun's contextual learning is to form a perfect human person, while at the same time forming a human personality to be able to live in society, 2) the concept of contextual learning according to Ibnu Khaldun is practically realistic, namely the concept of learning oriented to experience and realistic towards the needs of human life, 3) Ibn Khaldun's educational thought is relevant to modern contextual learning.

The research study carried out was literature where the results of the research carried out contained several findings in the study, including; First, Humans were created by Allah SWT in a perfect form which makes it different from other creatures. Second, the human mind is a gift from Allah SWT, which is used to think, understand, be able to understand something, from within the human being himself, so that humans have the readiness to absorb everything. Third, religion is a matter of reason and its use must be in accordance with the provisions and limits that have been set and not result in absolute and absolute thinking that can harm humans themselves. Fourth, human intelligence is described through the ability of humans themselves to be able to restrain their lusts, those who do the most charity to remember death and the best in preparing provisions to face life after death. Fifth, in the context of human life today, the intelligence referred to includes intelligence IQ (Intellegence Quotient), EQ (Emotional Quotient), and SQ (Spiritual Quotient) and there are even other intelligences as part of one's potential that must always be honed and developed. Sixth, the function of reason which is accompanied by good intelligence in Islamic education, with the concepts of tadhakkur, tadabbur, tafakkur and has knowledge and faith, has a very important role in realizing quality Islamic education.

This paper discusses the concept of management of character education in MTs Raudhatul Islamiyah Kemiri, the concept in question is the pattern of character growth of students with various supporting elements such as madrasa activities, rules or regulations, and content of Islamic education lessons that are applied in MTs Raudhatul Islamiyah Kemiri. In addition to these supporting elements, in order to grow the character of morality also has several strategies in supporting the achievement of character education management concepts such as: exemplary, learning, empowerment and acculturation, retention, and assessment. At this time Character becomes important for human life, especially for the next generation of nation. Therefore character education becomes important in school. However, the achievement of character values must be applied with good management. Character education management is a planned effort to make learners recognize, care and internalize the values so that learners are able to grow its character that consists of the process of planning, organizing, implementation and supervision.

Education is the most important part in human life who has morals and progress. Education can be carried out by everyone in an educational institution, but the primary education should be implemented through family education which is instilled by parents towards their family members from an early age. For this paper, the author will describe the nature and understanding of education in the family; What are the hadiths about education in the family; how the methods and aspects of family education based on the hadiths. The author uses the literature review (library research), with the primary data sources from the hadiths relating to children's education in the family. Study in this paper, Islamic education requires a simultaneous process and sustainable which involves aspects of disciplinary learning and compliance to implement Islamic education towards students. Education in the family, can be found patterns that must be implemented in the family environment, for the formation of a happy family according to what was taught by the prophet Muhammad SAW, and according to the word of Allah SWT in Q.S. Gender equality study is the study that will continously be discussed in human life. The study of gender examines the diverse roles of women and men in community life. The concept of <em>mubadalah</em> is of the new studies in gender equality. The concept of <em>mubadalah</em> is way of looking at two relations, namely man and woman, in which both of them as dignified human beings who are able to take advantages of all aspects of life for their good. Education is an important means of educating people who are knowledgeable and have noble character. Gender-based education is the foundation in creating a gender responsive young generation. This study aims to examine more deeply the concept of <em>mubadalah</em> and its implementation in Islamic education. This study used qualitative approach and the type of this research is library research. Data were obtained from various sources relate to the concept of <em>mubadalah</em> and Islamic education. The results show that the concept of <em>mubadalah</em> is one of the concepts of gender equality which can be used as a reference for understanding gender equality and equity that seeks to see women and men as servants of Allah swt. which is the subject of the texts in Al-Qur’an as well as in their interpretation. Education in an Islamic perspective becomes a forum for teaching gender equality through the design of a gender responsive education component.

Millennial generations are often referred to as agents of change. currently facing challenges from social change brought about by industry 4.0. Industry 4.0 has a negative impact, namely characters that are no longer in accordance with values ​​and norms. The industrial era 4.0 has eroded the values ​​of human life, including the millennial generation. Technology develops independently and is increasingly separate, and leaves religion and social values ​​far behind. Ibn Khaldun's idea of ​​Islamic education can shape humans to have character, so that the millennial generation is able to become humans who have quality, to be able to maintain the life and existence of a highly cultured society in accordance with the flow of the times. The idea of ​​Islamic education that is able to shape the character of the millennial generation are cognitive intelligence. There are abundant Javanese manuscripts in Indonesia. One of the interesting Javanese manuscripts which was reviewed in this paper is Serat Wasitawala. This serat was written in a genre of piwulang. It contains character values that are expected to be the source of the curriculum enrichment for the 2013 national curriculum (Kurtilas) that puts the values of the characters as a priority. Using philology methods and hermeneutical approach, this article reveals content of the text and educational values in Serat Wasitawala, along with the context of writing and its relevance to nowadays education. Serat Wasitawala contains educational values that could represent the concept of Islamic education of Java in the past was written by Mas Demang Warsapradongga. Serat Wasitawala in general was a form of life doctrines both related to God as well as to human beings. The values of character education reflected in it are as follows; wondering, love science, thinking logically, critical, creative, and innovative; religious; honest; responsible; disciplined, hard working, confident boundaries; polite; nationalist; and appreciating diversity. The issues of education that are integral and related with nowadays context include character education/morals, professional teachers, and educational philosophy aimed at seeking perfection of life.
