In conditions when own resources are limited, enterprises need cash receipts from investors, which will serve as a necessary complement to their own funds. For this reason, at the present stage, the relevance of scientific research and practical development in the field of research of investment attractiveness of enterprises is increasing. However, the issue of assessing the investment attractiveness of an enterprise has not yet been fully considered; there is no single theoretical and methodological base, which is due to the lack of an accurate interpretation of the term "investment attractiveness of an enterprise" itself, as well as the methodology and methodology for its assessment. Thus, the relevance of the study is due to the need to analyze and systematize existing approaches to the study of investment attractiveness of enterprises. In economic studies, investment attractiveness is understood as a complex indicator characterizing the feasibility of investing in an economic entity. The investment attractiveness of the enterprise depends both on external factors characterizing the level of development of the industry and the region in which the enterprise in question is located, and on internal factors - the results of the enterprise itself. Thus, an assessment of the investment attractiveness of an enterprise can be carried out by various methods aimed at identifying positive and negative factors of influence. The investment attractiveness of the enterprise is characterized by a set of indicators of its activity, which determines for the investor the area of the desired values of investment behavior. Investment attractiveness has a number of basic aspects: scientific, technical, commercial, environmental, institutional, social, financial and investment. The conclusions presented in the scientific article are the initial stage in the study of this topic.

The rapid development of science and technology has led to the emergence of a crisis in society. Science "pushes" religion, but does not offer a new moral code in its place. The definitions of "security" are almost as many and as controversial as postmodernism. For the purposes of this study, however, it will be sufficient to define security as "the functional state of a system that provides for the neutralization and counteraction of external and internal factors affecting or potentially damaging the system." This scientific article presents a study, which seeks to answer the question why the paradigm "security" is so important in the postmodern society, what are the roots of its influence and meaning, and to seek conclusions and guidelines for its increase.

Universities are increasingly paying more attention to developing academic entrepreneurship. This paper analyses the existing relationships between the relevant factors that contribute to the development of the entrepreneurial university. A previously validated questionnaire was administered to a sample of 84 deans of a number of faculties in Spain. The aim was to assess the universities’ development in terms of 13 influencing factors in encouraging entrepreneurship. The findings show that universities’ contextual factors had only minor influence on internal factors. Internal resources were found to be moderately or highly correlated with the processes put in place by universities to promote entrepreneurship. In particular, reference to entrepreneurship in a university’s mission, strategy, policies and procedures had a correlation with all the entrepreneurship factors analysed. Support from the management team and organisational design were not among the most important factors; however, they were positively associated with training and research processes, which, in turn, seemed to be strongly related to all factors in the development of the entrepreneurial university, especially with university mission and strategy. The findings show the relationships between the factors involved in the development of the entrepreneurial university. This will help universities to adopt measures that are better suited to promoting entrepreneurship.

Economic sanctions as well as geopolitical situation have set new challenges for Russia. They reflect the necessity of creating an economy that is resistant to both the impact of external, often negative factors, and the need to reformat domestic economic policies. The article deals with the features of the interconnection of the industrial region energy sector and the sustainability of its development. It emphasizes the fact that in the context of an economic crisis the adaptation of regions to new economic conditions is actively influenced by internal factors. The fuel and energy complex is becoming one of the leading domestic resources as well as a catalyst for the related industries. It is noted that unsustainable processes of activating internal regional resources (energy, finance, etc.) hinder achieving sustainable development of the economy.

The article carries out a comparative analysis of the definitions by scholars on understanding the essence of the concepts of both the crisis and the anti-crisis management of enterprise. As a result of the analysis, it is defined that in the scientific literature there is no single understanding of the essence of these concepts. The publication specifies the features of defining these concepts. The essence of crisis is defined as follows: a turning point in the development of changes; moment of sharp aggravation and impossibility of independent overcoming contradictions; stage of the enterprise’s development cycle; result of damage to internal mechanisms for maintaining adaptability, flexibility and sustainability; moment of resolving the contradictions requiring quick decision-making in terms of scarcity of resources; phase of imbalance of the enterprise’s activities and limited opportunities for the influence on the part of its management; situation in which the economic entity is not able to carry out financial provision of its own economic activity; threats of insolvency and bankruptcy of the enterprise. The essence of anti-crisis management is understood as: system of enterprise management; special, constantly organized management; aggregate of methods, techniques, forms of management; instrument for sustainable operation of the enterprise; management in order to predict a crisis; aggregate of the managerial anti-crisis measures. On basis of the analyzed features of defining, the authors’ own definition of crisis and anti-crisis management is proposed.
