This study was motivated by the phenomenon of the emergence of various dhikr (remembrance) gatherings that bring together many people who experience spiritual aridity. In Aceh, currently, there is a dhikr gathering that is well known for its work for the community called Rateb Seuribee dhikr. Rateb Seuribee dhikr is one of the dhikr gatherings that is in great demand within the community. In this study, the aim is to delve deeper into Rateb Seuribee dhikr by focusing on the existence of Rateb Seuribee dhikr and character values. The study used descriptive qualitative methods to obtain accurate and reliable data. Data were collected by means of interview and observation. The participants of the study consisted of the leaders, administrators, and the members of Rateb Seuribee dhikr. The results of the study indicated that Rateb Seuribee dhikr appeared to respond to the current condition of society which is experiencing spiritual aridity due to being lulled by worldly desires, leading them to drift away from the Creator. Taking into account such situations, Sheikh H. Amran Waly Al-Khalidi established a dhikr gathering named Rateb Seuribee dhikr. The people are mostly interested in following Rateb Seuribee dhikr in order to get peace of mind, get closer to Allah, improve characters, develop social attitudes towards fellow community members, forge closer ties of friendship between fellow citizens, and increase religious knowledge. In addition, the character values ​​obtained in carrying out Rateb Seuribee dhikr include religious, honest, disciplined, patient, sincere, enthusiastic, respectful, communicative, social care, responsible, and care for the environment.

<p align="center"><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p><p><em>This study aims to determine the transformation of the Ronggeng Pasaman performance of the Ganto Saroha group in Duo Koto District, Pasaman Regency. Ronggeng Pasaman is a performance art consisting of pantun, joget, and music, especially in Simpang Tonang, Pasaman, West Sumatra. The form of the Ronggeng Pasaman show is combining bouncing skills while dancing to the accompaniment of violin and drum music. The show starts at night, and ends until early morning. Currently Ronggeng Pasaman has undergone a transformation, people, especially young people, are less interested and begin to leave their regional arts, so the Ronggeng Pasaman show is rarely displayed. There was anxiety from the artists themselves, then initiatives emerged to attract the attention of the people. So it formed the Ronggeng Pasaman Ganto Saroha group, with the addition of keyboard music instruments in the show. Unlike the Pasaman Ronggeng Performance in general, the Ganto Saroha group does not show male singers with female appearance, but rather singers are real women or men. This study uses qualitative methods, is analytic description, observant participants. The results showed that the transformation carried out by the artists, made the Ronggeng Pasaman performance of the Ganto Saroha group well received and in great demand by all people in Pasaman, and was fully supported by the local government.</em></p><p><strong><em>Keywords : </em></strong><em>Form Transformation, Pasaman Ronggeng Performance, Ganto Saroha Group</em></p><p align="center"><strong><em>Abstrak</em></strong></p><p><em>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui transformasi bentuk pertunjukan Ronggeng Pasaman grup Ganto Saroha di Kecamatan Duo Koto, Kabupaten Pasaman. Bentuk pertunjukan Ronggeng Pasaman adalah menggabungkan keahlian berpantun sambil menari dengan iringan musik biola dan gendang. Pertunjukan dimulai pada malam hari, dan berakhir hingga menjelang pagi. Saat ini Ronggeng Pasaman telah mengalami transformasi, masyarakat khususnya anak muda kurang meminati dan mulai meninggalkan kesenian daerahnya, sehingga pertunjukan Ronggeng Pasaman jarang ditampilkan. Terdapat keresahan dari diri seniman, kemudian muncul inisiatif untuk menarik kembali perhatian masyarakatnya. Sehingga dibentuk grup Ronggeng Pasaman Ganto Saroha, dengan penambahan instrument musik keyboard dalam pertunjukannya. Beda dengan Pertunjukan Ronggeng Pasaman  pada umumnya, grup Ganto Saroha tidak menampilkan penyanyi laki-laki berpenampilan perempuan, melainkan penyanyi adalah perempuan atau laki-laki sesungguhnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, bersifat deskripsi analitik, partisipan observan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa transformasi yang dilakukkan para seniman, membuat pertunjukan Ronggeng Pasaman grup Ganto Saroha diterima dengan baik  dan diminati semua kalangan masyarakat Pasaman, dan  didukung penuh oleh pemerintahan setempat.</em></p><strong><em>Kata kunci : </em></strong><em>Transformasi Bentuk, Pertunjukan Ronggeng Pasaman, Grup Ganto Saroha</em>

Muhammadiyah movement is known as the movement of enlightenment. The enlightenment movement has a role to return the people to the right guidelines of life namely the Al Qur'an and the Sunnah. Muhammadiyah is also known as a large movement and spread throughout Indonesia, therefore to facilitate the delivery of religious knowledge to the community some branches or branches take care and observe the condition of this movement in each region. The purpose of this research is to recognize and understand how the development of the enlightenment movement in the environment around us in carrying out their duties and their contribution to society through programs that have been made to return people to the right direction and still hold fast to the Qur'an and sunnah or how Muhammadiyah's role in empowering the surrounding community. The method used is descriptive qualitative through observation and interviews with figures in the membership structure of Muhammadiyah who are in branches. The results showed that several excellent programs have been carried out by Muhammadiyah branches that deal directly with the Muhammadiyah community in the area itself, and through this program, many positive things have been created to enlighten the people.

Diaspora conducted by Chinese people to various regions of the world make them have their own culture with their own peculiarities, because it has acculturated with the new place where they are. One of the significant areas is Singkawang city. Singkawang is a historic place for Tionghoa ethnic, because there is where they grow and have their own civilization, complete with their sub-culture brought from China. During the reign of President Soeharto, their existence is very marginalized. They have a variety of cultures that only after the new Reformation is open to public. They have a unique sub-culture, so it takes time to be accepted in the community. Celebrations such as Imlek, Cap Gomeh and the others, are a distinct identity that falls within the indigenous communities and influences the economic, politics and cultural fields. So it is interesting to study about the Tionghoa sub-culture with it’s various dynamics, taking the background of Singkawang City, because the majority of the people are Tionghoa ethnic. The research was conducted by descriptive-qualitative methods, with the aim to describe the dynamics of Tionghoa sub-culture in Singkawang City. The result is, the dynamics of Tionghoa ethnic in Singkawang City has undergone significant changes and affect the social, economic, political life in Singkawang

This research started from the differences in the people's views in Sagaranten District, Sukabumi Regency related to female clerics. It stems from the idea that it is appropriate for the ulama to be addressed to men with religious knowledge because the ulama are heirs to the prophets while the prophets are men. In addition, women are a place for slander so they have strict limits when working in society. The author uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the people of Sagaranten District, Sukabumi Regency have both traditional and modern patterns of thought. The conventional view sees that a woman who has religious knowledge cannot carry out religious activities in a community with a mixed congregation of men and women. It is based on women being slander so that a woman's voice is considered aurat (which must be hidden). Second, the modern view views that women who have religious knowledge can be involved in society. There are no restrictions as long as they are able and have the opportunity.

Penelitian ini membahas tiga hal, (1) apa saja nama dan makna aksesori pakaian adat Lampung Pepadun dikaji dari sisi semantik leksikal, (2) apakah makna sosial dan makna kultural dari aksesoris pakaian adat Lampung Pepadun dari sisi semiotic, dan (3) bagaimana sikap masyarakat Lampung terhadap eksisitensi pakaian adat Lampung Pepadun secara umum. Tujuan penelitian (1) mengetahui perkembangan pakaian adat Lampung pepadun, (2) memahami sikap masyarakat Lampung terhadap pakaian adat Lampung pepadun, dan (3) menelaah filosofi dan makna dalam pakaian adat Lampung pepadun. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini metode kualitatif deskiptif, linguistik antropologi. Selanjutnya teori untuk mengupas penelitian ini memakai teori semantik leksikal dan teori simeotik. Hasil penelitian yang ditemukan, perkembangan pakaian adat Lampung pepadun sangat baik. Sikap masyarakat, bangga terhadap pakaian adat Lampung pepadun. Begitu juga masyarakat pengrajin aksesoris pakaian adat dan desainer terus berinovasi. Terdapat dua puluh kosa kata aksesori pakaian adat Lampung Pepadun, yaitu (1) sigor/siger, (2) kembang cempaka, (3) beringin tumbuh, (4) serajo bulan, (5) bulang taji, (6) bebe, (7) papan jajar, (8) gelang burung, (9) gelang kano, (10) gelang ruwi, (11) gelang bibit, (12) buah manggus, (13) kalung bulan temenggal, (14) sabik inuh, (15) sabik buluh perindu, (16) selempang pinang buah jukum, (17) bidak bekilas, (18) ikat pinggang bulu serati, (19) tapis jung satrat, dan (20) tanggai. This research discusses three things (1) what are the names and meanings of Lampung Pepadun traditional clothing accessories studied from the side of lexical semantics (2) What is the social meaning and cultural meaning of the accessories of the Lampung Pepadun traditional clothing in terms of semiotics (3) how the attitude of Lampung people for the existence of the Lampung Pepadun traditional clothing in general. The purpose of the study is (1) to know the development of Lampung pepadun traditional clothing. (2) to understand the attitude of the Lampung community towards Lampung pepadun traditional clothing (3) to examine the philosophy and meaning in Lampung traditional pepadun clothing. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative methods with anthropology linguistic. Furthermore, the theory used to explore this research are lexical semantic theory and simeotic theory. The results of the research show that the development of Lampung traditional pepadun clothing is very good. The people of Lampung are proud of Lampung traditional clothing pepadun. Likewise, the crafters of traditional clothes accessories and designers continue to innovate. Sedekah Bumi Merti Desa is one of the typical traditions of the Javanese community which is carried out by farmers in Tawang Susukan Village, Semarang Regency during the harvest season or the period before the planting season. The purpose of this research is to describe (1) the reconstruction of the Sedekah Bumi Merti Desa in Javanese culture which is held in Susukan Village, Semarang Regency which is full of local wisdom, and (2) the aspects of religion and the spirit of sharing values among community members. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with hermeneutic studies as research strategies and approaches. Data collection techniques are obtained through observation, deep interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that Sedekah Bumi Merti Desa is still practiced by farmers in Susukan Village, Semarang Regency from generation to generation with more modern models and components. This tradition is a form of the local community’s gratitude to God for the crops. Furthermore, sharing crops among the local community is done in order to strengthen brotherhood and togetherness. The novelty of this research is to analyze the processions and values in Sedekah Bumi Merti Desaas a form of local wisdom that is still surviving to the present time in the midst of global modernization.

The education of Islamic education institutions in Perbutulan Village, Sumber District, Cirebon Regency plays a role in moderate religious education, influencing changes in social and religious behavior in people's lives as well as on priority fiqh problems. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method by collecting data through interviews with those involved in Islamic education institutions and filling out online questionnaires to the people of Perbutulan community. The results of this study conclude that the role of Islamic education institutions in Perbutulan Village towards religious moderation is as an introduction that in religion one must respect one another, practice religion according to the guidance of the Al-Qur'an and sunnah. The Perbutulan community does not debate the differences between fiqh that exist in the Perbutulan community. With the existence of Islamic education institutions in Perbutulan, it can help the community in carrying out daily life with religious knowledge that has been taught.

This study aims to determine the effect of transparency in financial management of village funds and community empowerment on community welfare in Sidoharjo Village, Tepus District, Gunungkidul Regency. This research method uses quantitative descriptive methods and primary data using questionnaires. This study took a sample of residents who were divided into 11 hamlets in Sidoharjo Village, Tepus District, Gunung kidul Regency. The sampling technique is stratified random sampling. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires directly to people’s homes, attending social gatherings and routine meetings held by community members. It aims to obtain more data from respondents directly. The number of questionnaires processed was 120 questionnaires. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that community empowerment has a positive effect on the welfare of the people of Sidoharjo Village, Tepus District, Gunungkidul Regency, while transparency in financial management of village funds does not affect the welfare of the community in Sidoharjo Village, Tepus District, Gunungkidul Regency.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji perbandingan kepercayaan masyarakat Talagadi Majalengka dan masyarakat Nagoya di Jepang. Kepercayaan yang dimaksud dalampenelitian ini adalah kepercayaan yang berhubungan dengan tabu atau pamali dankepercayaan yang berhubungan dengan keberuntungan pada kedua masyarakat tersebut.Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut digunakan metode deskripstif kualitatif. Dalam memupudata digunakan metode lapangan karena peneliti terjun langsung ke masyarakat. Disamping itu, digunakan pula metode survey melalui penyebaran daftar kuesioner. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan bahwa bentuk kepercayaan yang berhubungan dengan tabu ataupamali pada masyarakat Talaga dan Nagoya meliputi kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh manusia.Adapun kepercayaan yang berhubungan dengan keberuntungan pada kedua masyarakattersebut berkaitan dengan binatang, benda, dan kegiatan manusia. Sampai saat ini baikmasyarakat Talaga maupun Nagoya masih memegang teguh kepercayaan tersebut.Kata kunci: kepercayaan, Talaga, Nagoya, deskriptif kualitatif, komparasi budaya.AbstractThe aim of this research is to review the comparison of belief between the society ofTalaga in Majalengka and the society of Nagoya in Japan. The intended belief on this study isthe one related with a taboo or pamali, and the belief correlated to luck on both societies. Inachieving the goal, this research uses a descriptive qualitative method. To get the data, thewriter uses a field method that he (/she) directly involves with the people. On the other hand,the writer also uses a survey method by distributing questioners. The result shows that the beliefcorrelated with the taboo or pamali of Talaga and Nagoya societies covers the activities doneby human. Also with the belief related to luck of both societies corresponds to animals, things,and human’s activities. Until now, either Talaga society or Nagoya’s still keeps those beliefs.Keyword: belief, Talaga, Nagoya, descriptive qualitative, cultural comparison.
