The main purpose of this study is an attempt to draw the attention of the scientific community to the problem of the prestige of the teaching profession against the background of the opinion that has developed in modern society about the low level of intelligence of applicants of pedagogical universities. This problem is relevant today for many European countries, including Poland, where the first stage of research was conducted. A wide range of studies conducted by scientists from Poland, Ukraine and Russia (a list of names is given in the text of the article) indicates the continuing interest of the scientific community in the problem of the prestige of the teaching profession. However, there are not enough publications linking the prestige of the profession and the intelligence of students studying in this direction in the scientific environment. Most publications on this topic do not have scientifically confirmed facts, but are based only on emotions and public perception of the problem. Therefore, we decided to conduct a number of studies in the universities of the three listed countries in order to confirm or decline the prevailing opinion about the low intellectual development of applicants of pedagogical universities. Our research (the first stage) was conducted on the basis of the Warsaw University of Natural Sciences among first-year students studying in the direction of "Pedagogy" using survey as a research method, in particular the Raven test. The article publishes only partial results of research conducted at this Polish higher educational institution, which, nevertheless, allow us to refute the thesis about the low level of intellectual development among students of pedagogical directions. These data are presented in comparison with the similar situation in Ukraine and Russia, which allows us to conclude that the prestige of the teaching profession as a pan-European trend is falling (in relation to the countries of the Eastern Europe). The research results also contradict the generally accepted opinion about the low level of intelligence among students of pedagogical educational institutions. Most of them have an average and high level (according to the Raven test), which, however, does not directly affect the prestige of the teaching profession. More than half of the respondents do not intend to work in their primary specialty, but consider pedagogical education prestigious for further career outside of school.

The evidence is reviewed for ‘low’ level lead exposure being an important contributive factor in the development of a wide range of diseases and conditions. “Classical” lead poisoning is not discussed. Also discussed are the other various contributive factors in the genesis of disease. A call is made for doctors to take into consideration these factors when considering their patients and disease processes, and for scientists to take responsibility for informing the non-scientific community of the hazards of lead and other toxins.

Malko’s artistic way is an example of universalism of creative personality, individual originality and unique expressiveness of each real master. The wide range of his artistic activity is analyzed, in terms of identifying various vectors of the artist's work:performance, scientific principles and pedagogical guidelines, musical and public initiatives. Based on the analysis of the scientific works of the outstanding artist, the opportunity for the importance of mastering the knowledge, skills and abilities of conducting art is provided. The importance of the rehearsal process in the subject of«Conducting» is revealed ,because a great responsibility falls on the shoulders of the future specialist who decided to become a conductor, to dedicate himself to the conducting profession, as well as his teacher, who has the duty to educate future highly professional conductor. It has been determined that taking a conducting course at an educational institution does not mean that the future conductor has already become a professional. He only gets the basics of conducting technique, which will need to be further developed and improved in the process of painstaking creative work with the team. It was found that one of the most important tasks of the educational process in the subject of «Conducting» is the development of a highly moral personality. Thus, M. A. Malko’s scientific and methodological works outline a range of issues related to the problems of conducting, form the professional skills of future conductors, promotes intellectual development, cultivates love for the profession. M. A. Malko’s conducting and pedagogical activity at different stages of his life is covered. M. A. Malko’s artistic and creative activity is recognized as a significant contribution to the development of Ukrainian culture’s conducting art.

Background:A lot of advancement has been made in the area of β-lactams in recent times. Most of the research is targeted towards the synthesis of novel β-lactams, their functionalization and exploring their biological potential. The C-3 functionalization of β-lactams has continued to attract considerable interest of the scientific community due to their utility as versatile intermediates in organic synthesis and their therapeutic applications. This has led to the significant increase in efforts towards developing efficient and economic strategies for C-3 functionalized β-lactams.Objective:The present review aims to highlight recent advancement made in C-3 functionalization of β-lactams.Conclusion:To summarize, functionalization of β-lactams at C-3 is an essential aspect of β-lactam chemistry in order to improve/modify its synthetic utility as well as biological potential. The C-3 carbocation equivalent method has emerged as an important and convenient strategy for C-3 functionalization of β-lactam heterocycles which provides a wide range of β-lactams viz. 3-alkylated β-lactams, 3-aryl/heteroarylated β-lactams, 3- alkoxylated β-lactams. On the other hand, base mediated functionalization of β-lactams via carbanion intermediate is another useful approach but their scope is limited by the requirement of stringent reaction conditions. In addition to this, organometallic reagent mediated α-alkylation of 3-halo/3-keto-β-lactams also emerged as interesting methods for the synthesis of functionalized β-lactams having good yields and diastereoselectivities.

Kata Kunci: Moral, Peran Orang Tua Moral development in childhood is still in a low level. It is because of the children’s intellectual development has not already reached the level where he is able to learn or apply the abstract principles about right and wrong things. Parental is the first point of children’s moral formation. Parents’ Affection toward children, build their moral interaction systems. A warm, friendly, happy relationship and affection between parents and children are children’s moral development fertilizer. Thus, parents’ roles toward children’s moral development are very essential, because parents are the first educators for children when they got born into the world. How can education authorities and organisations develop empowered, highly respected, strongly performance-normed, contextually embedded teaching professionals who cultivate student learning? This challenge is particularly acute in many low- and middle-income education systems that have successfully expanded school enrolment but struggle to help children master even the basics of reading, writing, and arithmetic. In this primer, we synthesise research from a wide range of academic disciplines and country contexts, and we propose a set of principles for guiding the journey toward an empowered, effective teaching profession. We call these principles the 5Cs: choose and curate toward commitment to capable and committed teachers. These principles are rooted in the fact that teachers and their career structures are embedded in multi-level, multi-component systems that interact in complex ways. We also outline five premises for practice, each highlighting an area in which education authorities and organisations can change the typical status quo approach in order to apply the 5Cs and realise the vision of empowered teaching profession.

In modern conditions of functioning of the higher education system, the goal of introducing distance learning is to organize a high-quality educational process “at a distance” using the latest information and communication tools and open access to educational resources. It is this form of training that can quickly adapt to the requirements of the information society and prepare the future specialist for the challenges of the digital environment. In combination with traditional forms, distance education in a higher educational institution can provide a wide range of educational services for both applicants and students to acquire the necessary skills for future professional activities, and for teachers to improve their skills. At the moment, the main problems in introducing high-quality free educational space is the lack of technical and financial support, the legislative basis of distance learning, and this is a leading factor in curbing the development of technology at the university. There are no qualified teachers specially prepared for working in remote mode. However, given the willingness of universities to train teachers to work remotely, the negative impact of this factor in the near future can be eliminated. Subject to the solution of the above problems, an effective distance learning will be created that will comprehensively reveal the student’s potential, taking into account both individual and universal needs.
