Abstract Background Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) corona virus mediated CoVid19 (corona virus disease 19) pandemic is a global concern. At the present, almost all countries of the world are home to the CoVid19 infection with varying rate.Methodology To understand the role of alcohol consumption and rate of CoVid19 infection, we conducted a comparative statistical analysis using the top CoVid19 infected countries of the world and compared them with per capita alcohol consumption per year. In addition, a Google trend analysis was conducted to understand the sentiments of the people towards the search of alcohol. Results We found that higher alcohol consumption is not proportional to the higher number of CoVid19 infection and deaths. Google trend analysis for search of alcohol for last 12 months was found highest for Australia followed by New Zealand, Ireland, United States, and South Africa, suggesting sentiment of higher alcohol search also not related to the SARS CoV-2 infection and deaths.

Corona virus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered corona virus. Most people who fall sick with COVID-19 experience mild to moderate symptoms and recover without special treatment. A number of deaths have been recorded across world. The aim of this study is to investigate and compare the extent the virus affects Africa relative to other parts of the world and it significant. One hundred and eighty seven (187) countries were selected randomly based on their continents and cases of infection. Data from each country were obtained from United Nations Geoscheme and WHO as at October 12, 2020 and were analyzed and compared to that of the United State of America (USA). USA was used as a Comparism Factor (CF) because it has one of the best healthcare system and high COVID-19 cases. Subsequent examination of associations between the proportion of COVID-19 cases, recovery and deaths of each country to the United State of America was carried out. All data used in these analyses are from publicly available data sets. Data analyzed revealed that almost all African countries appears to be least affected by the virus. African countries have the least impacted and lesser number of deaths index. Result from the study suggests that the virus affect Africa the least when compared to USA and other continents in terms of cases and mortality. This may be due to among other factors a more robust immune response. The result also helps to provide relative explanation as to how significant developing and providing vaccine may be to various part of the world.

The corona virus is world’s pandemic disease originated in China 2019 thus called Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). It surprised the world with its rapid spread and had major impact on human life as well as on global market. The fundamental solution to control the rapid spread of disease is social distance and home quarantine, but no one can stay at leisure for longer time. Thus, we have to live with COVID-19 by preventing ourselves. Symptomatic patients were called to test for COVID-19 immediately and will be quarantined. But asymptomatic patients become strange for the society today. To overcome this issue some intelligent system test is essential. Collection of patients sample itself is a risky. Thus, in preliminary step, Artificial Intelligence (AI) plays a vital role for detection of COVID-19. If the process of detection include an Artificial Intelligence it becomes easier for corona warriors to take necessary action on this pandemic and can able to detect disease at the earliest. Thus, in this article we have reviewed role of Artificial Intelligence in detection of COVID -19. The review resulted as there is urgent need of developing AI-based system for early detection, tracking and quantification of corona virus patients to save the world from this pandemic disease.

Covid-19 is an infectious disease caused by novel Coronavirus. The overall prevalence rate of Covid-19 in Worldwide ( 9.94M )& it is (529 K) & (153 K) in India and Maharashtra. This situation can be considered under JanapadodhwansaVyadhi in Ayurveda. The primary purpose of Ayurveda  is the prevention of the disease in healthy individuals and eradication of disease, which are curable. Immunity comes under the Vyadhikshamatva. Further, Covid-19 infection is correlated with Vataj-Kaphaj Jwara. In Ayurveda Rasayana therapy to boost up immunity (Bala  & Vyadhikshamatva). The present study aimed to explore the concept of infectious disease and its prevention through different lifestyles described in Ayurveda. The above need-based information is collected from various Ayurvedicliterature (Laghutrayee, Bruhatryayi) along with numerous research articles from databases, such as PubMed, Google Scholar. All collected data were depicted in narrative form and tabular manner under different heads. Considering the above aspect in the prevention of Covid-19, the role of Ayurveda intervention may be proved more beneficial in Covid-19. Further, adoption of code of conduct may efficiently overcome the current pandemic situation by maintaining good immunity & implementation of Ahar, Vihar Vidhis, Dincharya, and Rutucharya& Sadvritta  for improving disease resistance.

The emergence of a new virus in the global world at the end of 2019, namely Corona Virus Disease 2019, brought tremendous excitement to all inhabitants of the earth. The emergence of this virus brings tremendous concern and fear to the world because the spread of this virus is quite fast, even the most frightening is that the risk of death of people exposed to this virus is very large. Indonesia itself, cannot avoid the impact of this Covid-19 case. As a form of efforts to prevent and minimize transmission of the virus, the Indonesian government has issued a social distancing / physical distancing recommendation. This situation also causes the interaction between communities to be very limited. This situation seems to be able to eliminate hospitality among the community. This paper aims to emphasize the importance of maintaining the value of Christian hospitality in society amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

Introduction: This article includes the effect of Corona virus disease on cancer patients and their healthcare facilities. The global pandemic mentioned around the world has impacted the most vulnerable group of patients- cancer. With the assistance of RT PCR tests and HRCT, oncologists and doctors have tried to provide treatment to Covid-19 patients. Cancer patients are more susceptible to Covid-19 than non-cancer or non-survivor patients, according to reports. To avoid the prevalence and infection of cancer victims, WHO has suggested staying at home and continuing their treatment through telemedicine unless the situation is critical for which they might require therapy and/or surgery. Covid-19 is here to stay so we should practice with utmost care and precaution.

The corona virus disease, otherwise known as COVID-19, is an extremely communicable and pathogenic viral infection caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome corona virus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), which emerged in Wuhan, China in December 2019 and has spread to almost all the countries in the world. The transmission of the virus is through touching of the nose, eyes, or mouth by a finger that has been contaminated through droplets on a surface when a carrier sneezes or coughs. Since the existing fingerprint devices are predominantly contact based, it implies that they can aid in the transmission of the virus. This paper discusses the application of fingerprint devices in notable places with high rate of COVID-19 infection as well as the threats to fingerprint technologies and the countermeasures. The need to change focus and orientation towards contactless biometric technologies as sure solution to the fear and animosity expressed towards contact-based fingerprint technology is also expatiated.

BACKGROUND The corona virus disease-19 (Covid-19) pandemic has put human civilization into a huge challenge, especially in the field of medicine in the management of patients with co-morbidities. Health authorities across the world depend greatly on reliable data to make major decisions and this is especially true during this global pandemic. The present review was conducted to estimate the challenges in the management of Covid-19 patients with metabolic syndrome with special emphasis on gender and age. Patients having pre-existing health conditions e.g., heart disease, diabetes are at higher risk of morbidity and mortality due to COVID-19. According to the WHO newsletter, COVID-19 has tragically claimed more than 1.5 million lives. The burden of obesity across the world has nearly tripled since 1975. In 2016, 1.9 billion adults, were overweight; 650 million were obese; 13 % of the world's adult population (11 % of males and 15 % of females) were obese in 2016. Obesity has been observed to be a high-risk factor for COVID-19 severity. Severe acute respiratory syndrome-corona virus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) targets the angiotensinconverting enzyme 2 (ACE2) for cell entry and ACE2 is highly expressed in adipose tissue. This suggests an important role for the tissue in determining COVID-19 disease severity in obese individuals.1-2 There has been an increase in death from diabetes by 70 % globally between 2000 and 2019, and an 80 % rise in deaths among males has been observed. Metabolic syndrome comprises three or more of the following factors: increased waist circumference; hypertriglyceridemia; elevated blood pressure; reduced high-density lipoprotein cholesterol; hyperglycemia.1-2 Visceral fat is known to produce higher concentrations of proinflammatory cytokines. These are then released in the bloodstream. Release of proinflammatory markers in blood stream may cause auto-amplifying cytokine production (“cytokine storms”) and low-grade inflammation. Cytokine storm and low-grade inflammation can contribute to worsening of COVID-19 patients with obesity. Components of metabolic syndrome such as hypertension, type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), and obesity are highly prevalent among the general population and have been observed to significantly increase the risk of hospitalization and mortality in COVID-19 patients.1-2 KEYWORDS Covid-19 Pandemic, Metabolic syndrome, Aging, Gender
