The development of education has revealed a lot of educational ideology which makes some education practitioners often change the curriculum and educational model. This reality, then, leads to the changes of Indonesian curriculum which consequently shows that Indonesian education ideology is inconsistent. Actually, without following the western education ideology, Muslim practitioners in Indonesia should be able to maintain and use their own education ideology, namely Islamic education ideology. Because of its universal and transcendental characteristic, Islamic education ideology can give the newest and up-to-date format for the era development. This paper describes the concept of each ideology and their meeting points. The research method used in this study is library research method, and the data was analyzed by using content analysis method. The reserch result shows that the meeting points of those ideologies are divided into four concepts. First, the objective of education is to optimize the human resource. Second, the concept of human being is that human is the most noble and creative creation. Third, the education curriculum should be applicable. Forth, it is better to use guidance and counseling method in guiding students in solving their problems.

<span lang="IN"><em><em>Chinese Indonesian still becomes an issue in the Indonesian democracy and there are many publication in books about Chinese Indonesian issues. They are not only just share information but also indicate as respons to political change. This article discusses about the development book publication or literature on the issue of the Chinese Indonesian community in the post-reform Indonesia. It focuses to the topic of the content of the books. This research was qualitative research with the library research method. Data obtained from observation to books about Chinese Indonesian and analysed by the content analysis method. The results of this study indicate that there is development of topics about the Chinese Indonesian issues. At the beginning of the reform in 2000 until 2005, they much-discussed about discrimination, conflict and anti-Chinese sentiment, identity and culture. While the post 2005, the topics become more diverse, covers culture (art, food, tradition, literature, religion, architecture, etc.), identity, biography, history, role in Indonesian society and new issue such as women’s issues. It at least shows two important points. First, it shows the self confidency from Chinese Indonesian community to show themselves as part of Indonesian nation. Second, it shows some identity expression like political, cultural, Chinese diaspora, local Indonesia and religion identity.</em></em></span>

This paper examines the problem of fanaticism in Islamic education in Indonesia. As a plural country with its diversity, a high sense of tolerance is needed in Indonesia. This research is a qualitative research with library research. Documentation methods were used in this study to collect data from various literature, such as books, journals, and other electronic sources. The data is analyzed using content analysis method, whereas in the conclusions is drawn using an inductive mindset. The results of the study concluded that the paradigm of Islamic education should be done through multicultural inclusive education and prophetic education. Islamic Education (PAI) teachers in this regard have an important role in instilling a harmonious sense of religion. Inclusive multicultural education is expected to foster a sense of belonging and togetherness, dissociated from primordial barriers by emphasizing plurality-based religious education.

The purpose of this study is to determine the urgency of the stories of the Qur’an and how the contents of the educational value in it. The research method in this journal uses the method of library research, then analyzed using the content analysis method, which is descriptive-analytic with the main source of the Qur'anic stories. The secondary sources consist of articles, journals, and other books related to the research topic. Education through stories is very important, because naturally it is liked by everyone at various ages. Verses and guidance in the stories of the Qur'an are also more numerous than verses that talk about the law. In the Qur'an there is a story about the people of the past, the story of the time of the Prophet and the stories of the future, and they all become one of the methods for conveying messages of faith and strengthening efforts to deliver them to mankind that lead to the values of monotheism, worship and morals and the values of da'wah. Regarding the repetition of the story of the Qur'an, the aim is to give great attention to the story so that messages are more stable and embedded in the soul. This is because repetition is one of the ways of confirmation and an indicator of how much attention is paid. Stories that contain role models can be used as lessons to be followed by goodness, while stories that cannot be exemplary can be used as lessons as a means of increasing awareness.

<em>Teaching material is a collection of material and images compiled by the teacher. Learning mathematics in elementary school (SD) really needs to provide content between mathematics in the daily world of students based on local culture with school mathematics. One of the innovative mathematics learning in elementary school can be done by linking the material with culture or ethnomatematics. Ethnomatematics-based teaching materials in elementary schools can be defined as a collection of special elementary materials compiled by teachers in facilitating the process of learning mathematics in class related to culture, either in the form or form that is often encountered by students. The advantages of teaching materials consist of: 1) Study From Anywhere, Anytime; 2) No Commuting; 3) Flexibility to Choose. While the shortcomings of teaching materials consist of: 1) High Chances of Distraction in the Class; 2) No Social Interaction; 3) Takes A Lot of Time and Money. The research method used is the Library Study (Library Research). The data analysis technique used in this study is the Content Analysis method.</em>

Critical thinking is a very important intellectual tool that could help a person form arguments, determine the credibility of sources, analyse presumptions or make decisions in various contexts. Hence, this study intended to examine the Western and Islamic critical thinking concepts as well as its significance according to the al-Quran and the views of scholars. The library research method was used extensively for collecting and analysing data, which was sourced from literature by philosophers, psychologists and Islamic scientists, especially those involved in the cognitive field. The conceptual framework was built using the content analysis method. According on the analysis, the importance of Islamic critical thinking based on the al-Quran and views of scholars in the cognitive field were extensively elaborated to assist in the practice of Islamic critical thinking.  The study found similarities and differences between Islamic and Western critical thinking. The similarities are from the rational utilization aspect and the difference is from the value of truth aspect, whereby Islamic critical thinking accepts divine deliverance (wahyu) as the main source of reference when thinking so that the product of thinking eventually becomes the absolute truth. Hence, the major significance of Islamic critical thinking is to enhance the faith (iman) and piousness (takwa) towards Allah SWT by contemplating and examining nature. At the same time, critical thinking helps a person to face contemporary challenges and solve problems related to every aspect of life. Moreover, critical thinking activities are greatly demanded in Islam so that the mind bestowed by Allah SWT is not neglected and is used properly without transgressing HIS divine deliverance (wahyu).

This research aims to analyze the development of Islamic education in Iran through library research or library research as a research method. Data collection in this study uses the analysis of scientific journals that have been published to see how the development process of Islamic education in Iran and see the differences in Islamic education in Indonesia. This finding produced several differences in the development of Islamic education in Iran and Indonesia. The results of this study can provide an overview of the progress of education in Iran that can be collaborated with the education system and Islamic education curriculum in Indonesia. The results of this study are expected to be useful for the public in the preparation of education curricula in Indonesia in the future

This study aims to analyze the character values ​​in Sirah Nabawiyah Ar-Rahiq Al-Makhtum by Syafiyyurrahman al-Mubarakfuri, so that it is revealed how the character education of the Prophet Muhammad. and analyze its relevance to current educational goals. The research method used is library research, the type of research approach is deductive and the analysis method is content analysis. Data collection techniques used were library techniques. This research succeeded in proving that prophetic values ​​based on the history of the Prophet Muhammad have a strong relevance to the concept of contemporary character education. Prophetic values ​​loaded with character education in this era, especially related to religiosity, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democracy, curiosity, national spirit, love of the motherland, respect for achievement, friendship, love for peace , likes to read, care about the environment, care about social, and responsibility.

<p><strong>Abstract</strong></p><p>A metaphor is a figure of speech that refers to one thing by mentioning another thing via comparison, fictionalizing and expression.  This study is revealing, in terms of metaphor concept, what the perceptions of the secondary school students with relate to “History” term are. Accordingly, comments of 160 students who are educating in secondary schools in Karabük city center are referred. In this research, the secondary school students’ perceptions about “History” term are tried to be determined via metaphors. The obtained data were analyzed with content analysis method by using the phenomenological pattern in terms of qualitative research method. As a result of this analysis, it has been revealed that metaphor is an effective factor in determining and expressing the perceptions of the secondary education students about “History” term.</p><p><strong>Öz</strong></p><p>Metafor bir şeyi başka bir şey ile benzetmeye, kurgulamaya, anlatmaya yarayan mecazlardır. Bu çalışma ortaöğretim öğrencilerinin “Tarih” kavramına ilişkin algılarının neler olduğunu metaforlar bağlamında ortaya koymaya yöneliktir. Bu doğrultuda Karabük il merkezinde bulunan ortaöğretim okullarında öğrenim gören 160 öğrencinin görüşlerine başvurulmuştur. Araştırmada çalışma grubundaki öğrencilerin “Tarih” kavramına yönelik algıları metaforlar üzerinden belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler, nitel araştırma yöntemi bağlamında olgubilim deseni kullanılarak içerik analizi tekniği ile analiz edilmiştir. Bu analiz sonucunda, ortaöğretim öğrencilerinin “Tarih” kavramına ilişkin sahip oldukları algıları belirlemede ve açıklamada metaforların etkin bir araç olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır.</p>

In the last decade, Ghirrah related to the practice of Waqf in Indonesia is increasing in terms of quantity and diversity. For example, continue to increase the land/object of Waqf, the more new institutions that manage the Waqf, the existence of associations and forums for the development of Waqf, and the presence of new types of Waqf, such as insurance. Waqf is a proven system that can contribute to progress, culture, education, economics, social and civilization. In Islam Waqf has been practiced since the time of Rasulullah SAW and has undergone many significant changes ranging from its type, management and purpose. All that demands a new ijtihad ijtihad that can provide an alternative development of Waqf in the present that does not contradict the Islamic Shari'a. The purpose of this article is to highlight the importance of waqf in establishing student house. Nowadays, worthed boarding house is costly and this has prevented students from getting worthed boarding house. This paper offer an alternative solution to relieve such a situation, namely, through the application of waqf. The study suggests a concept to establish Waqf student house. The data was mainly collected using library research, all the data were analysed using the content analysis method. The findings show that waqf student house can help and support education in university. This article provides simulation scheme for establishing student house through waqf

This study aims to describe: 1) the objectives of Islamic Education according to Ibn Khaldun, 2) the concept of contextual learning according to Ibn Khaldun, 3) the relevance of Ibn Khaldun's educational thought to modern contextual learning. The research method used in this study is library research. While the analytical method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study indicate that, 1) the purpose of Ibn Khaldun's contextual learning is to form a perfect human person, while at the same time forming a human personality to be able to live in society, 2) the concept of contextual learning according to Ibnu Khaldun is practically realistic, namely the concept of learning oriented to experience and realistic towards the needs of human life, 3) Ibn Khaldun's educational thought is relevant to modern contextual learning.
