The existence of boarding school cottage in Bengkulu quite a lot that has been decline and not developed especially boarding school nuanced salafiyah. This is mostly because it still maintains traditional learning, so it does not pay attention to the guidance of society that is expected to compete with other modern schools. But boarding school Hidayatul Qomariyah Bengkulu City still can maintain and keep growing until now. This can not be separated from the position and influence of a chaplain (Kyai) as the founder and chairman of the cottage in improving the quality of the madrasah is one of them is the establishment of a policy.The type of this research is descriptive with qualitative approach. Informants from this research is the leadership of boarding schools, teachers, and educators and others. This research was conducted at MSW Hidayatul Qomariyah Kota Bengkulu. Techniques of collecting data using interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis using Miles and Huberman model with activity of data reduction technique, data presentation, data verification.The results of this study indicate that the policy of cottage leadership in improving the quality of madrasah salafiyah wustho, that (1) The leadership of the hut has its own policy and does not comply with the standard of quality of the madrasah, both the content standard, the process, and the educators and education personnel, (2) This policy is a tradition of downhill and added lack of experts in modern education management, (3) The policy adopted by the cottage leadership does not conform to the madrasah quality standard but, the policy was taken on the basis of a tabarukan / seeking blessing to see from the previous boarding school, (4) While other factors that according to researchers who have an influence on the development and progress of the boarding school, lies in the figure of leadership that greatly affects the progress and decline of a boarding school, Then the hallmark of the hut is still traditional and special for girls only as well as monthly activities pesantren pondok involving the community prov. This research examines how Ma'had al-Faruq Karanglewas responses to the implementation of learning compulsory of basic program of the Ministry of Religious affairs and strategy in the enchancement of the quality of equality education programs in Ma'had al-Faruq Karanglewas, the target/goal is the quality enchance of the students. This research uses qualitative approach, with technique of collecting data of observation, interview and documentation. Furthermore, to analyze data that have been collected since the beginning of research until the end of research, using data reduction technique, data presentation, verification and conclusion. The results of research shows the strategy of quality enchancement of equality education in Ma'had al-Faruq Karanglewas Banyumas can be done by: first, focus on customer satisfaction by improving the success of students learning, giving credibility to the students parents about the success of students learning, and giving prosperity to the teachers. Second, it involve totality all the stakeholders starting from the caregivers, administrators, the council of david, the students, the community, the guardians of students and the government to apply the quality of culture. Third, making the measurement of the quality of alumnus by targeting the students can mastery the tools science , namely nahwu and shorof and can apply the yellow book, and do good deed. Fourth, build commitment, by the commitment to realize the boarding school’s goals. Fifth, doing continuous improvement starting from the input or planning, processing, until output in education in boarding school.

The purpose of this study was to determine the importance of supervision of staff development at Madrasyah Ibtidayyah Muhammadiyah Juwiran Klaten. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. With the method of collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. While the data analysis activities are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that one way to develop human resources at Madrasyah Ibtidaiyyah Muhammadiyah Juwiran Klaten is by supervision, By improving the quality of education which must start from the aspect of teachers and other education personnel concerning the quality of their professionalism and welfare in a professional education management.

Abstract: Islamic education institutions in Indonesia face two challenges, namely; internal and external. Internally, Islamic education is faced with the classic problem of the low quality of human resources in education management. The causes include poor quality and education staff development and selectivity of education personnel. Furthermore externally, Islamic education institutions faced three major issues; globalization, democratization, and liberalization. The issue of globalization that is identical with market orientation and mechanism also affects the world of education. That way in education also includes awareness about how to attract and convince the community of the type and model of education. From here, the education world is ready or not ready to be involved in competition to gain public trust. To face these challenges Islamic Education institutions must maximally manage and empower all elements of management in the management of educational institutions. A good understanding of the elements of management can have an impact on the readiness of educational institutions to manage their institutions well in any condition to be the best and foremost. This research aims to analyze the strategy of leaders in improving the quality of education in Zulhijjah Muara Bulian boarding school. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, and verification. The results showed kiai has four roles, in improving the quality of education, namely educators, administrators, managers, and supervisors. Improving the quality of education is done by pursuing the welfare of teachers and contributing thought to the progress of the region and able to become cadres of scholars who will lead the ummah in the future by maintaining educational inputs, processes, and outputs.

Аn in-depth theoretical study and a critical analysis of the main aspects and existing approaches to the definition of modern education management methods aimed at improving the quality of educational services was carried out. The necessity of using modern approaches to managing education as an integral element of the economy, which is the driver of professional growth and changes in society, is substantiated. The features and key aspects of the formation of the institutionalization of education management in a separate university with the aim of ensuring the quality of modern education and the effectiveness of its management are considered. An in-depth analysis of the quality of educational services; a conceptualized comparison of education level indices, ratings of national education systems and their effectiveness in countries of the world. Practical recommendations have been developed on adapting the management system of educational institutions in accordance with modern economic and social requirements for the quality of educational services, which will increase audience loyalty and increase the effectiveness of management processes.

This study aims at analyzing the unsustainability causes of kalego as one of traditional games of Muna communities in Watopute District, Muna Regency, Southeast Sulawesi. Data collection was conducted through participant observation, interviews, surveys, and focused discussion. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively and descriptive statistic by employing data reduction technique, data presentation and conclusion. The results showed that kalego traditional game has been degraded or unsustainably practiced as the impact of the low awareness and low understanding among Muna community toward this traditional game. Approximately 71.25% Muna community in Watopute district cannot play the traditional game. The unsustainability of kalego was caused by several factors namely; 1) the absence of the family inheritance about kalego traditional game and the decreasing number of old figures who understand Muna culture contribute to the decreasing of local culture knowledge among younger generations; 2) Cultural encounters which results incorporated acculturation toward Muna's local culture; 3) the absence of the massive kalego game staging.

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation, characteristics of Islamic education management based on pesantren in SMA Darussalam Blokagung Banyuwangi. The research method uses descriptive qualitative, data collection through interviews, observation and documentation. The paradigm of this research is postpositivistic with data analysis of three Miles and Huberman models, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results in this study are the implementation of Islamic boarding school-based education management through planning; with good service adopting the concept of modern school management, involving all stakeholders, organizing; grouping of work units according to school needs, implementation; creating effective communication, committed to implementing the school's vision, mission and values, supervision; determination of implementation standards, determination of measurement of the implementation of activities. Meanwhile, the characteristics of Islamic education management based on pesantren are having sincerity in teaching; high dedication in work, discipline in every activity, maintaining solidity by establishing friendship between teachers and employees, and maintaining trust and responsibility in carrying out each task.

Character education for students is important for their future because personal character traits determine the quality of human life. This qualitative study aims to analyze the planning and implementation of character education at Taruna Nusantara Senior High School (SHS), Magelang - a boarding senior high school that combines teaching-loving-caring (asah-asih-asuh) and semi-military education. The unit of analysis consists of individuals and group of subjects directly or indirectly involved in the education process at the researched school and the surrounding, as well as the artifacts. The data are collected through interview, observation, and documentation, and  are subsequently analyzed using Huberman and Saldana’s interactive model. The results indicate that, in the planning, the school put more emphasis on three characteristics in character education that characterizes the school:  religiosity, morality and leadership. The planning of character education is participatory and integrated. It is implemented in and around the boarding school learning environment. The activities include teaching, training, parenting, and student development.

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana manajemen pendidikan dan pelatihan tilawah al-Qur’an bagi calon peserta didik musabaqah tilawatil Qur`an di pondok pesantren al-Qur’an M. Thoha Al-fasyni Bogor. Metode penelitian ini adalah menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan berusaha melaksanakan pengkajian deskriptif yang akan dituangkan dalam bentuk laporan dan uraian. Adapun jenis penelitiannya dengan mengambil studi kasus di pondok pesantren al-Qur`an M. Thoha Al-fasyni kota Bogor. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis pada penelitian ini menunjukkan metode terpola, dalam manajemen pendidikan dan pelatihan tilawah al-Qur`an bagi calon peserta didik musabaqah tilawatil Qur`an, metode ini diterapkan dengan pertemuan guru dan para peserta didik untuk mempraktekan apa yang telah guru sampaikan dan contohkan, dalam setiap kali pertemuan sehingga mampu memperoleh pola lagu tilawah dengan baik. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan oleh pihak pondok pesantren terutama berkaitan dengan manajemen pendidikan dan pelatihan tilawah al-Qur`an, dalam upaya meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan pelatihanya. Dan agar hal tersebut dapat dibuktikan dengan peningkatan prestasi peserta didik dalam setiap perlombaan musabaqah tilawatil Qur`an di berbagai tempat.Kata kunci: manajemen pelatihan, manajemen pendidikan, musabaqah tilawatil Qur`an, peserta didik, tilawah Al-Qur`an. AL-QUR`AN READING EDUCATION MANAGEMENT FOR PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS READING RACE AL-QUR’ANABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine how the recitation of the Qur'an management education for prospective students boarding school race koran reading the Koran Muhammad Al-Fasyni Thoha Bogor. This research method is using qualitative research with descriptive trying to carry out an assessment to be formulated in the form of reports and descriptions. The type of research by taking a case study in a boarding school Al-Quran muhammad Thoha fasyni city of Bogor. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Results of the analysis in this study shows the method patterned, in education management is reading the Quran for prospective learners race reading the Quran, the method is applied to meeting the teacher with the students to practice what the teachers say and demonstrated, in every meeting so as to obtain the pattern of the song reading well. The results of this study can be used by the boarding school related to education management reading the Quran, in an effort to improve the quality of education of reading the Quran. And so it can be evidenced by the increase achievement didikdalam participants race each race recitation of the Qur'an in various places.
