 The objectives of PkM are (1) the students can understand and identify the thoughts that can deny and erode the love of the homeland and the values of nationality so that it can be anticipated and carried out the prevention of its spread. (2) there is a community group that cares and optimally conducts the association in the framework of implementation of national values through state defending efforts. This PkM activity was conducted in the form of socialization / counseling during the day with the number of participants amounted to 60 students of class XII in SMK PGRI Pagar Alam. The method used in conducting this PkM activity is by lecture method, discussion, and question and answer. The results obtained during the PkM activity was an increase in student’s understanding of national values and preliminary state defense program of 73 % when viewed the comparison of the results of the pre test and post test.Keywords: optimization, nationality, state defending ABSTRAKTujuan PkM adalah (1) siswa dapat memahami dan mengidentifikasi pemikiran-pemikiran yang dapat mendangkalkan serta mengikis rasa cinta tanah air dan nilai-nilai kebangsaan sehingga dapat diantisipasi serta dilakukan pencegahan penyebarannya. (2) terdapat kelompok masyarakat yang peduli serta secara optimal melakukan perkumpulan dalam rangka implementasi nilai-nilai kebangsaan melalui upaya bela negara. Kegiatan PkM ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk sosialisasi/penyuluhan selama sehari dengan banyaknya peserta berjumlah 60 orang siswa kelas XII di SMK PGRI Pagar Alam.  Metode yang digunakan dalam melaksanakan kegiatan PkM ini adalah dengan metode ceramah, diskusi, dan tanya jawab.  Hasil yang diperoleh selama kegiatan PkM yaitu adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap nilai-nilai kebangsaan dan program pendahuluan bela negara sebesar 73% jika dilihat perbandingan dari hasil pre test dan post test .Kata kunci:  optimalisasi, kebangsaan, bela negara

ABSTRAKWanita muda cenderung memiliki perilaku buruk pada kebersihan selama menstruasi. Ketika reproduksi basah dan basah, maka akan meningkatkan keasaman memfasilitasi pertumbuhan jamur. Kondisi seperti gatal pada vulva, area eksternal biasanya terjadi pada wanita muda di masa menstruasi. Perilaku seseorang dipengaruhi oleh tingkat pendidikan dan pengetahuan. Pengetahuan seseorang tentang sesuatu dapat menyebabkan perubahan perilaku. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis efektivitas pendidikan kesehatan dengan metode ceramah dalam merawat kebersihan vulva terhadap perilaku kebersihan vulva saat menstruasi pada wanita muda di kelas VII di SMPN 1 Gondang Mojokerto.Jenis penelitian ini adalah pre eksperimental One Group Pre-Post Test Design. Populasi adalah wanita muda di kelas VII di SMPN 1 Gondang Mojokerto. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling dan diperoleh 21 sampel wanita muda. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner. Analisis data dengan membandingkan perilaku rata-rata memperlakukan kebersihan vulva selama menstruasi sebelum dan sesudah kuliah pendidikan kesehatan.Hasil penelitian sebelum pengobatan (pre-test) menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 9,000 sedangkan penelitian setelah perawatan (post test) menunjukkan nilai rata-rata 14,190. Ada perubahan dalam perilaku rata-rata memperlakukan kebersihan vulva selama menstruasi wanita muda sebelum dan sesudah kuliah pendidikan kesehatan di 5.190.Berdasarkan hasil pendidikan kesehatan dengan metode ceramah efektif untuk meningkatkan perawatan perilaku untuk kebersihan vulva selama menstruasi pada wanita muda. Kuliah pendidikan kesehatan tentang kebersihan vulva dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu cara efektif untuk memperbaiki perilaku kebersihan yang buruk selama menstruasi pada wanita muda.Kata kunci: pendidikan kesehatan, perilaku, kebersihan vulva ABSTRACTYoung women tend to have bad behavior on hygiene during menstruation. When reproduction moist and wet, it will increase the acidity facilitate mold growth. Conditions such as itching of the vulva, the external area usually occurs during young women in the menstrual period. Person's behavior is influenced by the level of education and knowledge. One's knowledge about something can cause behavioral changes. The purpose of the study was to analyze the effectiveness of health education with the lecture method of treating vulva hygiene on the behavior of vulva hygiene during menstruation in young women in class VII at SMPN 1 Gondang MojokertoType of research is pre experimental One Group Pre-Post Test Design. The population was young women in class VII at SMPN 1 Gondang Mojokerto. Sampling technique used total sampling and obtained 21 samples of young women. Measurement tool used in the study was questionnaire. Analysis of the data by comparing the average behavior of treating vulva hygiene during menstruation before and after the health education lecture.The results of the study before treatment (pre-test) showed a mean value of 9,000 while the study after treatment (post test) showed a mean value of 14,190. There is a change in the average behavior of treating vulva hygiene during menstruation young women before and after the health education lecture at 5,190.Based on the results of health education with the lecture method effectively to improved behavioral care for vulva hygiene during menstruation in young women. Health education lecture about hygiene vulva can be used as one of the effective ways to improve the behavior of poor hygiene during menstruation in young women.Key Words: health education, behaviour, vulva hygiene

Malnutrition in pregnant women has an impact on the health of the next generation. Therefore, nutrition counseling first 1000 days of life needs to be given. Good nutrition during the period of 1000 days starting from early pregnancy until the child’s second birthday. This study aims to determine the effect of counseling with “Kalpin” or Smart Calendar on knowledge and attitude of pregnant women about the first 1000 days of life. This type of research is a comparative analytic design with pre-test and post-test control group. Nutrition counseling activities carried out by the lecture method using a smart calendar. Measurement of knowledge and attitude of pregnant women perfomed twice: before and after the extension granted. Analysis of the data used were bivariate analysis test Independent T-Test and Mann Whitney. The result shows influence of counseling about first 1000 days of life with Kalpin to knowledge (p = 0,000) and attitude of pregnant woman (p = 0,000) about first 1000 days of life. For health service can be a new input in efforts to improve the quality of service with realization the Program Healthy Indonesia that include first 1000 days of life.

ABSTRAK Indikator keteraturan pemeriksaan kehamilan menggambarkan kualitas pelayanan Program Kesehatan Ibu dan Anak (KIA). Pada tahun 2019 di Puskesmas Kalitidu cakupan Kunjungan Kehamilan (K4) di Puskesmas Kalitidu belum mencapai target 100% yaitu tercapai 91%. Komplikasi kehamilan targetnya 15-20%, tercapai 40.96% dan komplikasi persalinan 44,17%. Angka Kematian Bayi (AKB) sebesar 8,13/1000 KH. Sedangkan Bidan di wilayah Puskesmas Kalitidu yang belum mengikuti pelatihan KIP/K sebesar 20 orang (90,91%) dari 22 bidan.Tujuan umum untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan Bidan  melalui pelatihan bidan tentang Komunikasi Interpersonal dan Konseling (KIP/K) dalam upaya peningkatan kualitas ANC. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan selama tiga hari di Puskesmas Kalitidu, diikuti 22 bidan dengan metode ceramah tanya jawab,demonstrasi dan praktik KIP/K. Hasil kegiatan adalah peningkatan kualitas Bidan dalam KIP/K yaitu peningkatan pengetahuan dengan nilai rata-rata post tes 94,55 %, keterampilan KIP/K nilai rata-rata 82,50%, terbentuknya Komitmen Bersama Bidan dalam mendukung mensukseskan kegiatan Bidan tentang KIP&K dalam upaya peningkatan kualitas ANC. Luarannya peningkatan kualitas Bidan, HKI, Modul dan jurnal. Saran: sosialisasi KIP/K pada Bidan yang belum mengikuti pelatihan dan 7 hak ibu hamil pada pelayanan ANC serta menerapkannya dalam pelayanan ANC. Kata kunci: Bidan, KIP/K, Pengabmas, pelatihan.  ABSTRACT The indicators of regularity for antenatal care describe the quality of services for the Maternal and Child Health Program (MCH). In 2019 at the Kalitidu Health Center cThe coverage of Pregnancy Visits (K4) at the Kalitidu Health Center has not reached the 100% target, which is 91%. The target for pregnancy complications is 15-20%, achieved 40.96% and delivery complications 44.17%. The Infant Mortality Rate (IMR) is 8.13/1000 KH. Meanwhile, 20 midwives in the Kalitidu Community Health Center have not attended KIP/K training (90.91%) out of 22 midwives. ANC quality. This training was held for three days at the Kalitidu Health Center, attended by 22 midwives with a question and answer lecture method, demonstration, and KIP/K practice. The result of the activity is an increase in the quality of Midwives in KIP/K, namely an increase in knowledge with an average post-test score of 94.55%, KIP/K skills an average score of 82.50%, the formation of a Joint Commitment of Midwives in supporting the success of Midwives' activities on KIP&K in an effort to improve the quality of ANC. The output is improving the quality of midwives, HKI, modules, and journals. Suggestion: socialization of KIP/K to midwives who have not attended training and 7 rights of pregnant women in ANC services and apply them in ANC services. Keywords: Midwife, KIP/K, Community Service, training.

This research aimed to examine the effectiveness of the INSTAD strategy in comparison to other teaching strategies such as Inquiry, student team’s achievement division (STAD), and lecture method, to reduce the gap of higher order thinking skills between Upper Academic (UA) and Lower Academic (LA) groups of students.The research partipants were 136 7th grade students in total, which consisted of two groups of 36 UA and 36 LA students. The students were selected through a stratified random sampling from 27 Public Junior High Schools in Surakarta, Indonesia. The treatment classes were determined through an intact group. The research design employed pre-test-post-test non-equivalent control group of quasi experiment. The higher order thinking skills were measured by essay test sheet as an instrument. Data were analysed by utilizing ANCOVA with the pre-test score as the covariate. The findings revealed that INSTAD have optimally improved higher order thinking skills in comparison with the Inquiry, STAD, and lecture method. INSTAD's were proven able to reduce the gap of higher order thinking skills between UA and LA students rather than Inquiry, STAD, and lecture method as teaching strategies. ABSTRACTThis study was initiated by the students’ low learning outcomes on Chemistry subject and the teachers’ preference in using lecture method in teaching learning process.This study aimed at 1) finding out the differences of students’ learning outcomes between the use of flash media-assisted practical method and lecture method on hydrocarbon class at grade XI MIA of SMA Muhammadiyah I Pontianak. Using quasi experimental design and Control Group Posttes Design, this study employed the students of grade XI MIA 2 as the samples of experiment group, andthe students of grade XI MIA 2 as the samples of control group. The data collection techniques used were measurement and observation. While the instruments employed were observation sheet and essay. TheU-Mann Whitneytest revealed that the post test score of 0,0140< 0,05 Ho was rejected, while the Ha one was accepted. It means that there was correlation of students’ learning outcomes between the experiment and the control groups. In addition, the effect size result was 1,086 > 0,8 and considered high which indicated the positive effect of flash media-assisted practical method in enhancing students’ learning achievement.Keywords: flash, learning outcomes, hydrocarbon, practical method

Background: Mind maps are highly effective visual aids that enable students to group together different ideas and enable teachers to present ideas visually and assess their students’ conceptual development and understanding. The present study was to assess effectiveness of mind mapping technique vs lecture method regarding psychological test on knowledge among nursing students at St. James College of Nursing Chalakudy. The study included 50 first year B.Sc. nursing students, 25 in lecture group and 25 in mind mapping group. Materials and methods: A Quasi-experimental non randomized control group design was adopted and nonprobability convenient sampling technique was used to select the samples. Structured teaching programme regarding psychological test was administered on both group and knowledge level of the students was evaluated immediately after the teaching (‘0 day’) and 7th day to assess the retention of knowledge. Data collected by using structured questionnaire and analysed by using descriptive and inferential statistics.   Results:The study revealed that the mean post test knowledge score of students on ’0’day in mind mapping group is (13.52) higher than the lecture group (9). The calculated t value (7.66) is higher than the table value (6.06) at 0.05 level of significance. The mean of the post test knowledge of students on 7th day by using mind map score is 13.32, it is higher than mean of the lecture method knowledge score (8.80). The calculated t value is (7.92) is greater than the table value (2.60) at 0.05 level of significance. Conclusion: There for it can be concluded that the mind mapping teaching method is very effective than lecture method among the nursing student on psychological test. The study shows that mind mapping technique help the student to learn, recall, organize and make information meaningful. So they can perform and get good result in examination by using mind mapping technique.

Technology-enabled learning is selecting some appropriate technology and improving learning performance through the appropriate learning environment. The aim of the research study is to focus on the effectiveness of Technologyenabled learning among the Diploma in Teacher Education teacher trainees. Investigator has adopted experimental research method to analyse the framed hypotheses. A total sample of Thirty I year diploma teacher trainees from Vellore district has been chosen for the present study. The finding of the research study shows that there exists a significant difference between mean value of the pre-test and post-test scores of learning science through lecture method. There exists a significant difference between pre-test post-test scores of the experimental group in learning science through technology-enabled learning. It has been found that both lecture method and technology-enabled learning (TEL) or effective in term of achievement among the Diploma in Teacher Education Students. But analyses between the post-test scores of experimental and control group reveals that Technology-enabled learning was more effective than the lecture method. Hence it is recommended to utilize the technology-enabled learning for students studying diploma in teacher education programme.

Abstrak: Peternak harus mengenal jenis pakan yang biasa diberikan kepada ternak supaya menghasilkan produksi yang baik. Pakan berupa hijauan, leguminosa, dan konsentrat umumnya diberikan kepada ternak kambing perah. Tujuan pengabdian adalah memberikan pengetahuan tentang pakan kambing perah di Kelompok Peternak Roudhatul Ghonam Sidamulih Pangandaran. Pengabdian ini telah dilaksanakan di kelompok ternak Roudhatul Ghonam Kecamatan Sidamulih Kabupaten Pangandaran yang diikuti oleh peserta berjumlah 30 peserta dengan berbagai tingkatan usia. Metode pelaksanaan dengan cara memberikan penyuluhan kepada para peternak dengan pengenalan berbagai pakan untuk kambing perah. Tahapan dimulai dengan sebaran kuisioner pre test  sebelum kegiatan dilakukan dengan 10 pertanyaan yang diajukan, pemaparan materi pengenalan pakan, penyebaran kuisioner post test kepada peserta dan diakhiri dengan sesi tanya jawab peserta dan narasumber. Kemudian mengenalkan pakan berupa hijauan seperti rumput gajah, raja, gamal, kaliandra dan ampas tahu yang bisa diberikan dengan potensi ketersediaan diwilayahnya, konsentrat serta teknologi pakan hasil fermentasi berupa silase. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan tentang pakan meningkat di tingkat peternak berdasarkan pre test dan post test sehingga diharapkan dengan ilmu dan pengetahuan tersebut produktivitas ternaknya tinggi dengan pemberian pakan yang terbaik.Abstract: Farmers must know the types of feed that are usually given to livestock to produce good production. Feed in the form of forage, legume, and concentrate is generally given to dairy goats. This service aims to provide knowledge about dairy goat feed in the Roudhatul Ghonam Farm Sidamulih Pangandaran. This service was carried out in the Roudhatul Ghonam farm, Sidamulih District, Pangandaran Regency, where 30 participants of various ages attended. The implementation method is by providing counseling to breeders with the introduction of various feeds for dairy goats. The stages began with the distribution of pre-test questionnaires before the activity was carried out with ten questions being asked, presentation of feed introduction material, distributing post-test questionnaires to participants, and ended with a question and answer session between participants and resource persons. Then introduce feed in the form of forages such as elephant grass, king grass, Gamal, calliandra, and tofu dregs that can be provided with potential availability in the region, concentrate and fermented feed technology the form of silage. The results showed that knowledge about feed increased at the farmer level based on the pre-test and post-test. It is expected that with this knowledge and knowledge, the productivity of livestock is high by providing the best feed

Low mathematical representation skill causes the inability of vocational students solving problems creatively as demanded by industries. Researches showed that blended problem-based learning (BL-PBL) combining online and offline learning to train students to independently solve problems was proven to increase mathematical skills in education levels other than vocational school. Therefore, this research aimed to evaluate BL-PBL effect to mathematical representation skill escalation in vocational high school. Quantitative study with pre-test and post-test control group design was performed to two randomly-chosen classes over vocational schools in Kabupaten Bandung Barat, West Java, Indonesia. Samples were divided into two groups: experimental (BL-PBL method) and control (lecture method). Initial skill was determined by pre-test while learning outcome was determined using post-test. Data was analysed by t-test and two-way ANOVA with 0.05 significance level using IBM SPSS. Result showed the initial skill of two groups was similar. After treatment, N-gain data uncovered a significant increase of representative skill in experimental group. While, two-way ANOVA test showed no interaction between learning model used and student grouping based on initial skill to representation skill. Finally, BL-PBL was proven to increase mathematical representation skill in vocational students and, hence, is suggested to be implemented in vocational high school
