Batik is the nation's cultural heritage which functions as a formal attire as well as a medium for delivering non-verbal messages to users. Indonesia is recognized by UNESCO as the owner of batik culture. Currently, there is an innovation about cold wax that can be used for batik, where the results are as good as hot wax batik and more environmentally friendly. This community service activity raised the theme of cold wax batik training for the Cakra Borneo community in Bakungan Village, Loa Janan District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan. This activity was organized with partners, namely Borneo Craft Indonesia, batik craftsmen who will help transfer knowledge about cold wax batik. Through this training, participants are able to improve their abilities in producing East Kalimantan batik works that will make city branding a candidate for the capital city of Indonesia.

Service Activity

Culture in East Kalimantan has many varieties that are increasingly disappearing if conservation efforts are not carried out both by the community, agencies/institutions, especially in schools/campuses that are in direct contact with matters of culture. One of the cultures that is currently of concern is the culture of the Dayak Kenyah community in the Pampang cultural village, Samarinda. Besides being a cultural heritage, Pampang village is also an asset for tourism and education for local communities and foreign tourists. The condition of the lamin building which is getting old requires special attention for maintenance or design updates while maintaining the philosophical aspects of the local culture. Therefore, this community service activity focuses on developing traditional lamin designs in the Pampang cultural village. The methods used are literacy assessment, drawing/design making, lecture/concept presentation, discussion, and evaluation. The results of this activity are in the form of products and services, working drawings and mockups of the redesign of traditional lamin buildings which are expected to contribute to the preservation of the original culture of East Kalimantan.

Tegallega Village, Warung Kondang District, Cianjur Regency has a problem regarding the availability of clean water, the water used by residents comes from the Cimanceuri River or dug wells where the water is relatively cloudy, even though the use of dirty water has the potential to cause various health problems, such as cholera, dysentery, typhus, and tuberculosis and other diseases. The availability of clean water has always been one of the characteristics of community welfare. How not without clean water it is impossible to realize a prosperous society, a physically and mentally healthy society as a form of participation in developing public health. This activity method in community service uses a follow-up study method with a participatory approach in community service, the team conducts training on how to make simple water filtration that can be used as a source of clean water for families by using plastic bottle waste and other environmentally friendly materials that residents can find around environment in making the dirty water filter. The results of this Community Service Activity went smoothly and were greeted with great enthusiasm by the residents because the practice of making water purification equipment made with materials such as pebbles, coconut fiber, charcoal, fibers, and sponges functioned well from the water which was originally colored cloudy turns to be clearer and odorless.

This community service activity is motivated by the potential for the spread of the Covid virus which is still happening and the Awipari Village does not yet have health facilities that are balanced with its population. In addition, the use of disinfectants as a protection for families and the environment from the spread of the Covid-19 virus is still not available with natural ingredients and is safe for the environment. This is what training on the manufacture of safe and environmentally friendly disinfectants needs to be done. The main purpose of this community service is to help target partners to be more independent in providing the disinfectant needs that residents need. Furthermore, it can be used as an alternative field to increase household income. The specific target to be achieved in the future is that target partners are able and accustomed to using safe and environmentally friendly basic materials in making disinfectants. Community service activities will be held in September 2021 at the Awipari Village Office, Tasikmalaya City. The methods used are lectures, discussions, and the practice of making disinfectants directly. Community service activities are very well received by partner community groups. The community is enthusiastic and active in demonstrations and discussions and wants this service activity to be routine and continue with various training themes according to community needs.

ABSTRAKTujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pelatihan  kepada petani sayuran melalui teknik meramu media berbasis standar budidaya pertanian yang baik atau “Good Agriculture Practices”, dan sekaligus  memperkenalkan konsep budidaya sayuran melalui pemanfaatan pupuk organik yang ramah lingkungan. Kegiatan PKM  ini  dilaksanakan dengan  metode pendekatan Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) dengan melibatkan anggota kelompok tani, ketua kelompok tani, Penyuluh Pertanian setempat, ketua dan anggota Karang Taruna, tokoh masyarakat dan beberapa staf desa. Hasil kegiatan PKM ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta tentang teknik pembuatan pupuk organik dari berbagai limbah pertanian untuk meningkatkan kesuburan tanah dan meramu media tanam untuk meningkatkan produksi sayuran organik. Secara umum, peserta PKM  sangat antusias dan memberikan respon yang positif terhadap materi yang disampaikan dan bersedia menerapkan penggunaan pupuk organik  ramah lingkungan tersebut dalam teknik budidaya sayuran organik dilahan pertaniannya. Di akhir sosialisasi dan pelatihan ini peserta berharap dapat diberikan pendampingan secara berkelanjutan dari mahasiswa KKN Universitas Mataram. Kata kunci : inovasi;  pupuk organik;  sayuran;  nilai ekonomis. ABSTRACTThe objective  of this Community Service Activity (PKM) is to increase knowledge and training to vegetable farmers through the technique of combining various waste material as plant growth media based on good agricultural cultivation standards or "Good Agriculture Practices", and at the same time introduce the concept of vegetable cultivation through the use of Environmentally Friendly organic fertilizers. This Community Service Activity is carried out by Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach method by involving members of farmers groups, farmers group chairmen, local Agricultural Extension, chairmen and members of Karang Taruna, community leaders and some village staff. The results of this PKM activity showed that there was an increased understanding of participants understanding of organic fertilizer manufacturing techniques from various agricultural wastes to increase soil fertility and concoct planting media to increase organic vegetable production. In general, PKM participants are very enthusiastic and give a positive response to the material delivered and are participants are willing to apply the use of environmentally friendly organic fertilizers in organic vegetable cultivation techniques in their farms. At the end of this socialization and training participants hope to be provided with ongoing assistance from KKN students of Mataram University. Keywords: innovation; organic fertilizers; vegetables; economic value.

East Kalimantan Province is very vulnerable to climate change, so it needs policies and strategies in managing climate change impacts through adaptation and mitigation actions. So it is necessary to stipulate local regulations on climate change adaptation and mitigation. Management of climate change in East Kalimantan is one of the local government's efforts in providing guarantees to the community to get a quality living environment. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide understanding to residents regarding East Kalimantan Regional Regulation No. 7 of 2019 concerning climate change adaptation and mitigation. The method of implementing this community service activity is in the form of counseling and discussion of East Kalimantan Regional Regulation No. 7 of 2019 concerning climate change adaptation and mitigation. Based on the results of community service activities related to the extension of East Kalimantan Regional Regulation No. 7 of 2019 regarding climate change adaptation and mitigation, it was concluded that many people still do not know about the regional regulation. Efforts to mitigate and adapt to climate change are not only the responsibility of the Government, but also the responsibility of the DPR. The DPR's climate change mitigation and adaptation efforts can be carried out through the implementation of its three functions, namely the budget function, the supervisory function, and the legislative function. Every stakeholder, including the community, must mitigate and adapt to climate change, because adaptation and mitigation is the key to addressing climate change, which is the key to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increasing carbon stocks to reduce the impact of climate change. The active role of the regional government in formulating policies related to climate change is a must, the policy is expected to be a direction for stakeholders in East Kalimantan.

AbstrakTanaman cabai merupakan tanaman yang banyak dijumpai di Indonesia. Petani melakukan budidaya tanaman cabai karena minat dari masyarakat akan cabai sangat tinggi. Namun petani selalu dihadapkan dengan permasalahan hama yang sering menyerang tanaman cabainya. Kebanyakan petani menggunakan pestisida kimia untuk memberantas hama pada tanamannya. Memang cepat dalam memberantas hamanya, namun kurang baik dalam segi lingkungan dan kesehatan manusia. Untuk itu, penulis akan memberikan alternatif untuk memberantas hama yang ada ditanaman tanpa adanya efek samping baik tanaman itu sendiri maupun ekosistem disekitarnya. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini yaitu observasi dan wawancara. Pembuatan pestisida alami ini menjadi salah satu alternatif karena ramah lingkungan dan aman untuk kesehatan manusia. Pestisida alami ini terbuat dari kotoran kambing, dan rempah-rempah yang sering digunakan ibu dalam memasak. Pestisida ini disosialisasikan kepada masyarakat khususnya yang bergerak di bidang pertanian. Untuk mengetahui efektif tidaknya penggunaan pestisida alami dalam memberantas hama dilakukan dengan pengamatan setelah penyemprotan pestisida alami secara rutin untuk tanaman cabai yang terserang hama.  Sehingga dari pengamatan ini didapati penggunaan pestisida dari kegiatan pembuatan pestisida alami, penyemprotan pestisidanya ke tanaman yang terdapat hama, penyemprotan dilakukan sehingga didapati dari hasil pengamatannya pestisida ini cukup efektif dalam memberantas hama yang terdapat di tanaman cabai. Dari hasil pengamatan didapati penyemprotan pestisida alami secara rutin dapat meminimalisir penyebaran hama  ditanaman. Kata Kunci: Pestisida Alami, Hama, Tanaman Cabai. AbstractChili plants are plants that are often found in Indonesia. Farmers cultivate chili plants because the public’s interest in chili is very high. However, farmers are always faced with the problem of pests that often attack their chili plants. Most farmers use chemical pesticides to eradicate pests on their crops. It is fast in eradicating the pests, but it is not good in terms of the environment and human health. For this reason, the author will provide an alternative to eradicate pests that exist in plants without any side effects, both the plant itself and the surrounding ecosystem. The method used in this community service activity is observation and interviews. Making natural pesticides is an alternative because it is environmentally friendly and safe for human health. This natural pesticide is made from goat dung, and spices that mothers often use in cooking. These pesticides are socialized to the public, especially those engaged in agriculture. To find out whether the use of natural pesticides is effective in eradicating pests is carried out by observing after spraying natural pesticides on a regular basis for chili plants that are attacked by pests. So from this observation it was found that the use of pesticides from the activities of making natural pesticides, spraying was carried out so that it was found from the observations that these pesticides were quite effective in eradicating pests found in chili plants. From the observations, it was found that regular natural pesticide spraying can minimize the spread of pests on plants.Key Word: Natural pesticides, pests, chili plants.

Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat merupakan salah satu cara supaya mahasiswa Universitas Trilogi memiliki keterampilan bermasyarakat. Khalayak  sasaran  dari  pengabdian  ini  adalah  masyarakat RW 09 di  desa Ciasihan. Kegiatan pengabdian  telah  dilaksanakan  pada  tanggal  11 Agustus-11 September yang  bertempat  di desa Ciasihan Kecamatan Pamijahan Kabupaten Bogor, dengan diikuti oleh seluruh masyarakat RW 09. Dari  hasil  evaluasi  diperoleh  hasil  dan  manfaat  dari  kegiatan  pengabdian  ini diantaranya adalah meningkatkan motivasi masyarakat akan pentingnya koperasi, dan pentingnya akan pemanfaatan sampah organik  menjadi pupuk. Kegiatan pengabdian  ini  berjalan  dengan  lancar,  karena  berbagai  pendukung  terutama  partisipasi peserta yang cukup antusias dan berpartisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan pembentukan koperasi.. Tujuan  kegiatan  pengabdian  kepada  masyarakat  ini,  yang  dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan pembentukan koperasi adalah memotivasi masyarakat akan pentingnya koperasi, dan pentingnya akan pemanfaatan sampah organik  menjadi pupuk. The Covid-19 pandemic has caused various impacts on the community's economy, especially for Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) owner. Various impacts felt by the UMKM owner have affected their psychological health such as the emergence of stress, anxiety, fear, and symptoms of depression. Therefore, this Pengabdian Kepada masyarakat (PKM) activity aims to help UMKM to be able to maintain psychological health in stressful situations during the pandemic. The implementation of this community service activity is carried out online. The implementation of PKM is held in the form of an interactive webinar through the presentation of material related to stress and its management. The activity was attended by a psychologist, accompanying students, and two owners of UMKM. Based on the implementation of community service activities, it can be concluded that providing education around stress-management could help participants gain new knowledge about stress and also able to experience the benefit of stress-management technique such as relaxation exercises that could manage the stress they experience.Pandemi Covid-19 telah menimbulkan berbagai dampak pada perekonomian masyarakat terutama pada pengusaha Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM). Beragam dampak yang dirasakan oleh pengusaha UMKM telah mempengaruhi kesehatan psikologis seperti timbulnya stres, cemas, rasa takut, dan gejala depresi. Oleh karena itu kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk membantu pengusaha UMKM tetap dapat menjaga kesehatan psikologis dalam situasi stres di masa pandemi. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan secara daring. Pelaksanaan PKM diselenggarakan dalam bentuk webinar secara interaktif melalui pemaparan materi terkait stres dan cara pengelolaannya. Kegiatan dihadiri oleh seorang psikolog, mahasiswa pendamping, dan dua pengusaha UMKM. Berdasarkan pelaksanaan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemaparan materi terkait stres membantu peserta memperoleh pengetahuan baru mengenai stres. Kemudian latihan relaksasi yang dilakukan pada saat webinar ditemukan bermanfaat untuk mengelola stres yang dialami oleh para peserta.

Salo Palai Village is one of the villages in Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan which has the superior commodity of pepper 'Malonan'. Pepper land in Salo Palai Village reaches 169 ha with a productivity of 1.9 tons/ha. The pepper harvest is sold in granular form at a price of IDR 30,000.00/kg and there is no product diversification, such as pepper powder. This is what makes there is no increase in the selling value of pepper that has been produced by farmers. Community service activities in the marketing of powder pepper are expected to be an effort to provide an understanding of the importance of product diversification as an effort to increase selling value. The methods used are tutoring and training. This activity results the pepper powder products in packaged bottles with labels, which are expected to increase values.
