Service Activity

Culture in East Kalimantan has many varieties that are increasingly disappearing if conservation efforts are not carried out both by the community, agencies/institutions, especially in schools/campuses that are in direct contact with matters of culture. One of the cultures that is currently of concern is the culture of the Dayak Kenyah community in the Pampang cultural village, Samarinda. Besides being a cultural heritage, Pampang village is also an asset for tourism and education for local communities and foreign tourists. The condition of the lamin building which is getting old requires special attention for maintenance or design updates while maintaining the philosophical aspects of the local culture. Therefore, this community service activity focuses on developing traditional lamin designs in the Pampang cultural village. The methods used are literacy assessment, drawing/design making, lecture/concept presentation, discussion, and evaluation. The results of this activity are in the form of products and services, working drawings and mockups of the redesign of traditional lamin buildings which are expected to contribute to the preservation of the original culture of East Kalimantan.

Batik is the nation's cultural heritage which functions as a formal attire as well as a medium for delivering non-verbal messages to users. Indonesia is recognized by UNESCO as the owner of batik culture. Currently, there is an innovation about cold wax that can be used for batik, where the results are as good as hot wax batik and more environmentally friendly. This community service activity raised the theme of cold wax batik training for the Cakra Borneo community in Bakungan Village, Loa Janan District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan. This activity was organized with partners, namely Borneo Craft Indonesia, batik craftsmen who will help transfer knowledge about cold wax batik. Through this training, participants are able to improve their abilities in producing East Kalimantan batik works that will make city branding a candidate for the capital city of Indonesia.

Abstrak: Penguatan literasi di sekolah merupakan sebuah upaya yang dilakukan dengan melibatkan guru dan siswa secara menyeluruh dengan tujuan agar sekolah menjadi sebagai organisasi pembelajaran yang warganya literat secara sadar dan bertanggung jawab.  Hal ini bersejalan dengan kemampuan yang diharapkan, yakni agar para siswa mampu mengakses, memahami, dan menggunakan sesuatu secara cerdas melalui berbagai aktivitas membaca, menulis, menyimak, dan berbicara. Berpijak dari realitas minimnya akses literasi yang berdampak pada rendahnya minat baca-tulis di masyarakat Indonesia, kegiatan pengadian kepada masyarakat ini difokuskan pada peningkatan kecapakan guru dan siswa dalam berliterasi yang berbasis pada kearifan lokal serta penekanan pada pentingnya literasi dalam bingkai etnokomunikasi. Kegiatan dalam bentuk ceramah diselingi pentas seni bahasa dan sastra ini diikuti oleh guru, siswa, dan komunitas seni SMA Negeri 50 Maluku Tengah. Hasil yang dicapai menyasar pada pemahaman dan penyeragaman persepsi tentang pentingnya penguatan literasi dengan menjadikan guru sebagai pionir literasi di sekolah. Para peserta mendapatkan pengetahuan dan pengalaman baru dalam hal alih wahana serta konsep etnokomunikasi sehingga mampu mengeksplorasi kekayaan budaya lokal sebagai wujud jati diri yang mengandung beragam kearifan lokal. Kata kunci: penguatan literasi, kearifan lokal, etnokomunikasi   Abstract: Strengthening literacy in schools is an effort made by involving teachers and students as a whole with the aim that schools become learning organizations whose citizens are literate consciously and responsibly. This is in line with the expected abilities, namely so that students are able to access, understand, and use things intelligently through various reading, writing, listening, and speaking activities. Based on the reality of the lack of access to literacy which has an impact on the low interest in reading and writing in Indonesian society, this community service activity is focused on increasing the skills of teachers and students in literacy based on local wisdom and emphasizing the importance of literacy in an ethnocommunication frame. The activity in the form of lectures interspersed with language and literary arts performances was attended by teachers, students, and the arts community of SMA Negeri 50 Central Maluku. The results achieved are aimed at understanding and uniform perception of the importance of strengthening literacy by making teachers as literacy pioneers in schools. The participants gained new knowledge and experience in terms of vehicle transfer and the concept of ethnocommunication so that they were able to explore the richness of local culture as a form of identity that contains a variety of local wisdom. This community service activity discusses talent development in the creative economy. Seen in terms of potential, in terms of opportunities and ways that can be taken to be able to develop a creative economy based on local culture. The purpose of this community service is to foster the curiosity of the students of SMK Muhammadiyah 4 Palembang in the creative economy. In today's digital era, where there are lots of opportunities for millennial children to channel their talents, such as being a YouTuber or entrepreneurship through online. With this community service, it is hoped that it will be able to provide an understanding to students that there are many things that can be done in this era, which can even increase their own income and more than that can help the economy of the family and the surrounding community.

East Kalimantan Province is very vulnerable to climate change, so it needs policies and strategies in managing climate change impacts through adaptation and mitigation actions. So it is necessary to stipulate local regulations on climate change adaptation and mitigation. Management of climate change in East Kalimantan is one of the local government's efforts in providing guarantees to the community to get a quality living environment. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide understanding to residents regarding East Kalimantan Regional Regulation No. 7 of 2019 concerning climate change adaptation and mitigation. The method of implementing this community service activity is in the form of counseling and discussion of East Kalimantan Regional Regulation No. 7 of 2019 concerning climate change adaptation and mitigation. Based on the results of community service activities related to the extension of East Kalimantan Regional Regulation No. 7 of 2019 regarding climate change adaptation and mitigation, it was concluded that many people still do not know about the regional regulation. Efforts to mitigate and adapt to climate change are not only the responsibility of the Government, but also the responsibility of the DPR. The DPR's climate change mitigation and adaptation efforts can be carried out through the implementation of its three functions, namely the budget function, the supervisory function, and the legislative function. Every stakeholder, including the community, must mitigate and adapt to climate change, because adaptation and mitigation is the key to addressing climate change, which is the key to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increasing carbon stocks to reduce the impact of climate change. The active role of the regional government in formulating policies related to climate change is a must, the policy is expected to be a direction for stakeholders in East Kalimantan.

The purpose of this community service activity was to increase the knowledge and experience of local communities at village potential mapping based on Asset Based Community Development in Kotabatu Village. The activities carried out are in the form of focus group discussion (FGD), training that accompanied by assistance in the context of mapping of village potential and increasing the institutional capacity of community groups, namely: Community Forestry Group and Tourism Awareness Group. The methods used in this activity included: the cognitive aspect enhancement stage, the mentoring and empowerment stage, and the advocacy stage. In particular, this community service activity has led to several objectives, including: building a commitment among village officials to focus on village development of the three potential Kotabatu Village has had, including (1) optimizing the potential of natural resources, (2) potential agricultural products, and (3) tourism potential. ===== Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini ialah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pengalaman masyarakat lokal dalam memetakan potensi desa berbasiskan asset based community development di Desa Kotabatu, Kec. Pubian, Kab. Lampung Tengah. Kegiatan yang dilakukan berbentuk forum group discussion (FGD), pelatihan, dan dibarengi dengan pendampingan dalam rangka pemetaan (eksplorasi) potensi desa, serta peningkatan kapasitas kelembagaan kelompok masyarakat, yakni Kelompok Hutan Kemasyarakatan-HKm dan Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis). Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini di antaranya adalah tahap peningkatan aspek kognitif, tahap pendampingan dan pemberdayaan, serta tahap advokasi. Secara khusus, kegiatan pengabdian ini telah mengarah pada beberapa capaian tujuan, di antaranya, yakni terbangunnya komitmen di antara aparatur desa untuk memfokuskan pengembangan desa pada tiga potensi yang dimiliki oleh Desa Kotabatu, di antaranya, yakni (1) optimalisasi potensi SDA, (2) potensi hasil bumi, dan (3) potensi pariwisata.

Semarang Regency is the main route in the Joglosemar area (Jogja-Solo-Semarang), its position is very strategic and has quite a lot of tourist attractions, but historic attraction is still less managed. For  example,  the  history of  Ki  Pandan  Aran  II  related  to  the  early establishment of Semarang Regency has not been fully utilized. It has only been commemorated in anniversaries, but not packaged into a tour package. For this reason, it is necessary to package the Semarang Regency anniversary  activities  into  an  attractive  tour  package.  The  implementation  method  uses literature studies, interviews, and FGD. This community service activity is collaborated with the  Deputy  for  Destination  Development  of  the  Ministry  of  Tourism  of  the  Republic  of Indonesia and Commission X of the Indonesian Parliament and the Semarang Regency Tourism Office. Based on interviews and literature studies result, the potential assets and tourist attractions were  compiled.  During the FGD, the preparation of historical tour packages was discussed. The commemoration activities are usually carried out in stages starting with a pilgrimage to the graves of Ki Pandan Aran II and Bayat Klaten, Kirab Merti Bumi, followed by Jamasan Pusaka, and the main event. Packaging these activities in order to become an attractive tour package, is carried out by combining pre-event and post-event activities in the form of visits to several other tourist destinations in the Regency and City of Semarang. This tour package is expected to provide direct economic contribution to local communities while maintaining the sustainability of local historical and cultural valuesABSTRAK:Kabupaten Semarang merupakan jalur lintas utama di Kawasan Joglosemar (Jogja-Solo-Semarang) sehingga posisinya sangat strategis. Dilihat dari sektor kepariwisataan, Kabupaten Semarang memiliki cukup banyak daya tarik wisata, namun daya tarik sejarah belum tergarap dengan baik. Sebagai contoh, potensi sejarah Ki Pandan Aran II terkait dengan awal berdirinya Kabupaten Semarang belum dimanfaatkan secara maksimal. Sejauh ini hanya diperingati dalam rangkaian peringatan hari jadinya, namun belum dikemas menjadi paket wisata yang bisa ditawarkan ke wisatawan. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan upaya pengemasan kegiatan peringatan hari jadi Kabupaten Semarang tersebut mejadi sebuah paket wisata yang menarik. Metode pelaksanaan dengan menggunakan studi literatur, wawancara, dan FGD. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat kali ini sekaligus merupakan kegiatan kerjasama antara Deputi Bidang Pengembangan Destinasi Kementerian Pariwisata RI dan Komisi X DPR RI serta Dinas Pariwisata Kabupaten Semarang. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dan studi literatur, disusunlah aset potensi dan daya tarik wisata yang dimiliki oleh Kabupaten Semarang. Pada saat FGD, dibahas penyusunan paket wisata sejarahnya. Kegiatan peringatan Hari Jadi Kabupaten Semarang biasanya dilakukan bertahap dimulai dengan ziarah ke makam Ki Pandan Aran II dan Bayat Klaten, Kirab Merti Bumi, dilanjutkan Jamasan Pusaka, dan acara puncak. Pengemasan kegiatan tersebut agar mejadi sebuah paket wisata yang menarik, dilakukan dengan cara mengkombinasikan dengan kegiatan pre-event dan post-event berupa kunjungan ke beberapa destinasi wisata lainnya di Kabupaten dan Kota Semarang. Paket Wisata ini diharapkan bisa memberikan kontribusi ekonomi secara langsung ke masyarakat lokal sekaligus menjaga keberlangsungan nilai-nilai sejarah dan budaya setempat.

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memenuhi kewajiban dosen untuk melakukan tridharma perguruan tinggi. Untuk itu sudah menjadi kewajiban bagi dosen berbagi pengetahuan dan wawasan melalui penyuluhan pengembangan manajemen sumber daya manusia agar senantiasa berupaya mencapai tujuan organisasi dengan efektif dan efisien. Dan juga bertujuan Karang Taruna Kampung serua poncol dapat menjalankan fungsi dan perannya secara optimal sehingga mendatangkan manfaat bagi Kampung serua poncol. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat merupakan salah satu cara supaya mahasiswa Universitas Trilogi memiliki keterampilan bermasyarakat. Khalayak  sasaran  dari  pengabdian  ini  adalah  masyarakat RW 09 di  desa Ciasihan. Kegiatan pengabdian  telah  dilaksanakan  pada  tanggal  11 Agustus-11 September yang  bertempat  di desa Ciasihan Kecamatan Pamijahan Kabupaten Bogor, dengan diikuti oleh seluruh masyarakat RW 09. Dari  hasil  evaluasi  diperoleh  hasil  dan  manfaat  dari  kegiatan  pengabdian  ini diantaranya adalah meningkatkan motivasi masyarakat akan pentingnya koperasi, dan pentingnya akan pemanfaatan sampah organik  menjadi pupuk. Kegiatan pengabdian  ini  berjalan  dengan  lancar,  karena  berbagai  pendukung  terutama  partisipasi peserta yang cukup antusias dan berpartisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan pembentukan koperasi.. Tujuan  kegiatan  pengabdian  kepada  masyarakat  ini,  yang  dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan pembentukan koperasi adalah memotivasi masyarakat akan pentingnya koperasi, dan pentingnya akan pemanfaatan sampah organik  menjadi pupuk. Selain itu, Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat ini merupakan wahana bagi mahasiswa Universitas Trilogi untuk mengabdikan keilmuannya.Kata Kunci: Pembentukan Koperasi, Masyarakat RW 09Community service activities are one way for Trilogy University students to have social skills. The target audience of this service is the community of RW 09 in Ciasihan village. From the results of the evaluation, the results and benefits of this service were obtained, including increasing community motivation for the importance of cooperatives, and the importance of using organic waste into fertilizer. Siladen is an island east of Bunaken Island with a population of approximately 300 family heads. The Covid-19 pandemic has caused various impacts on the community's economy, especially for Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) owner. Various impacts felt by the UMKM owner have affected their psychological health such as the emergence of stress, anxiety, fear, and symptoms of depression. Therefore, this Pengabdian Kepada masyarakat (PKM) activity aims to help UMKM to be able to maintain psychological health in stressful situations during the pandemic. The implementation of this community service activity is carried out online. The implementation of PKM is held in the form of an interactive webinar through the presentation of material related to stress and its management. The activity was attended by a psychologist, accompanying students, and two owners of UMKM. Based on the implementation of community service activities, it can be concluded that providing education around stress-management could help participants gain new knowledge about stress and also able to experience the benefit of stress-management technique such as relaxation exercises that could manage the stress they experience.Pandemi Covid-19 telah menimbulkan berbagai dampak pada perekonomian masyarakat terutama pada pengusaha Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM). Beragam dampak yang dirasakan oleh pengusaha UMKM telah mempengaruhi kesehatan psikologis seperti timbulnya stres, cemas, rasa takut, dan gejala depresi. Oleh karena itu kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk membantu pengusaha UMKM tetap dapat menjaga kesehatan psikologis dalam situasi stres di masa pandemi. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan secara daring. Pelaksanaan PKM diselenggarakan dalam bentuk webinar secara interaktif melalui pemaparan materi terkait stres dan cara pengelolaannya. Kegiatan dihadiri oleh seorang psikolog, mahasiswa pendamping, dan dua pengusaha UMKM. Berdasarkan pelaksanaan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemaparan materi terkait stres membantu peserta memperoleh pengetahuan baru mengenai stres. Kemudian latihan relaksasi yang dilakukan pada saat webinar ditemukan bermanfaat untuk mengelola stres yang dialami oleh para peserta.
