ANALISIS KEBUTUHAN BAHASA INGGRIS PADA MAHASISWA PROGRAM STUDI KEPERAWATAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis kebutuhan materi pembelajaran ESP pada mahasiswa keperawatan.  Untuk mengetahui kebutuhan tersebut, perlu dilakukan needs analysis agar mahasiswa mendapatkan materi yang diperlukan untuk mendukung proses belajar mereka pada saat ini atau karir yang akan datang. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa keperawatan kelas P17C yang sedang mengambil mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik Purposive Random Sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner. Data dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif dalam bentuk jumlah dan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan mahasiswa keperawatan terhadap mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris ESP sangat beragam sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa mereka memerlukan Bahasa Inggris bukan saja untuk kebutuhan mereka saat ini, tetapi juga untuk kepentingan karir profesional yang akan datang. Oleh karena itu disarankan agar pengajar Bahasa Inggris ESP atau pihak yang berkepentingan dapat mengakomodasi kebutuhan mahasiswa, serta selalu melakukan analisis kebutuhan karena kebutuhan pembelajar ESP juga selalu berubah.   This study is aimed at identifying and analyzing the needs of ESP learning material in learning English at diploma nursing students. The study revealed that the needs of nursing students on English subject are very diverse and it can be concluded that they need English not only for their current needs as they can communicate in English to support their education in nursing field, but also for their future professional career. Therefore, it is recommended that ESP English teachers or other related parties should accommodate the needs of these students. In addition, it is suggested to always conduct needs analysis since the needs of ESP learners are constantly changing.

Abstract: English is a compulsory subject that must be taken by every students of FKIP Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM). Clear reference on what material should be given to the students must be clear enough so that they can get benefit from this subject. The population of this study were students from 5 deparments who are currently taking English subject and the sampling technique used was purposive random sampling. Meanwhile, a questionnaire as the instrument for this study was arranged in closed-ended form. Technical data analysis applied in this study was descriptive analysis in the form of number and percentage. The study revealed that the needs of non-English Department students on English subject are very diverse and it can be concluded that they need English not only for their current needs as they can read various English literature that support their education in their field of study, but also for their professional future occupation. It is therefore recommended that ESP English teachers or other related parties should accommodate the needs of these students. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan mahasiswa non prodi Bahasa Inggris terhadap mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris ESP sangat beragam sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa mereka memerlukan Bahasa Inggris bukan saja untuk kebutuhan mereka saat ini seperti membaca literatur berbahasa Inggris, tetapi juga untuk kepentingan pekerjaan nantinya. Oleh karena itu disarankan agar pengajar Bahasa Inggris ESP atau pihak yang berkepentingan dapat mengakomodasi kebutuhan mahasiswa, serta selalu melakukan need analysis karena kebutuhan pembelajar ESP juga selalu berubah. Kata Kunci: Bahasa Inggris ESP, analisis kebutuhan, kebutuhan pembelajar

This study aims to determine and describe students’ reading ability and drafting skills on technical drawing, and the students’ complaints of school factors, which affect the learning process on engineering drawing subject in grade XI of Machining study program. This is a descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The population in this research were 112 students. The samples of 91 students were chosen using simple random sampling technique. Data were collected by means of tests and questionnaire. Data were then analyzed using descriptive analysis. The result shows that students’ reading ability of engineering drawing is in the category of “high” with percentages of completion from the “comply with the drawing standard” indicator is 91.21% and “correctness” indicator is 40%.  Students’ drafting skills is in the category of “high” with percentages of completion from the indicators of “comply with the drawing standard” is 79.12%, “clear and easy to understand” is 63%, “drafting speed” is 87%, and “cleanliness” is 89%. The most complained in terms of school factors on the subject of engineering drawing are student-teacher relationship, classroom equipment, building condition, and homework.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa dalam membaca gambar, mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan kemampuan siswa dalam membuat gambar kerja, dan keluhan siswa ditinjau dari faktor sekolah yang mempengaruhi belajar mengajar siswa pada mata pelajaran gambar teknik kelas XI Teknik Pemesinan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 112 orang. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 91 siswa ditentukan dengan teknik simple random sampling. Data dikumpulkan dengan tes dan angket. Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam membaca gambar berada pada kategori tinggi dengan presentase keberhasilan indikator tiap evaluasi pada standar sebesar 91.21% dan betul sebesar 40%, kemampuan siswa dalam membuat gambar berada pada kategori tinggi dengan presentase keberhasilan indikator tiap evaluasi pada standar sebesar 79.12%, jelas dan mudah dipahami sebesar 63%, kecepatan sebesar 87%, dan kebersihan sebesar 89%, dan keluhan siswa pada mata pelajaran gambar teknik ditinjau dari faktor sekolah yang cukup dikeluhkan adalah relasi guru dengan siswa, alat pelajaran, keadaan gedung, dan tugas rumah.

Japanese is an elective course that can be taken by every student in the Nursing Study Program of Stikes Ranah Minang. References regarding the teaching material given to the students must be appropriate so that they can get the benefit from this course. To find out the reference, it is necessary to do a needs analysis so that the students get the material that they really need to support their learning process at present time or in the future. This study was conducted to analyze the needs of Japanese language learners. The research was conducted with a qualitative approach and descriptive method. The research population is the students who are taking the course of Japanese Language II at the Stikes Ranah Minang Nursing Study Program. The research instrument used is a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using the descriptive techniques in the form of numbers and percentages.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was categorized into three. First, to describe the effective sentence mastery of the first year students at SMK Negeri 2 Padang. Second, to describe the writing skills of a exposition of the first year students at SMK Negeri 2 Padang. Third, to describe the contribution of the effective sentence mastery into the writing skills of a exposition text made by the first year students at SMK Negeri 2 Padang. The design of this research was quantitative with a descriptive method. Then, this study also was a correlational design. The population of this study was the first year students at SMK Negeri 2 Padang for about 498 students. The sample of this study was taken by using a proportional random sampling technique (15%), which was 70 students. The data of this study were the results of effective sentence mastery and the results of the writing skill of a exposition text. The instrument of this study was an objective test to measure effective sentence mastery and performance tests to measure expositon text. There were several results of this study. First, the effective sentence mastery of the first year students at SMK Negeri 2 Padang was in Good qualifications (B). Second, the writing skills of a exposition of the first year students at SMK Negeri 2 Padang was in a Good qualification (B). Third, describe the effective sentence mastery contributed 82,00% to the exposition text writing skills of the first year students of SMK Negeri 2 Padang. Kata Kunci: kontribusi, penguasaan kalimat efektif,  keterampilan menulis teks eksposisi

One of the efforts taken by the company to improve morale is to meet the promotion appropriately, because when promotions are met then the employee will contribute optimum morale. The purpose of this study is to investigate the implementation of a promotion, the condition of employee morale and job promotion role in improving employee morale at PT. Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Persero) Branch Garut Retail.The analytical method used in this research is descriptive and verification method. Descriptive method used to determine the implementation of promotion and conditions of employee morale at PT. Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Persero) branch of Garut Retail, the verification method used to determine the role of promotion in improving employee morale at the office of PT. Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Persero) branch Retail Garut.The method used is survey explanation. The process of sampling carried out by random sampling technique. The sample size is 65 people. The data collection was conducted using questionnaires, interviews, and literature.These results indicate that the promotion included in the category of good, as well as morale is also high. It is seen that the coefficient of determination variable X amounted to 16.56%, and the remaining 83.44% is the influence of other factors. Spearman Rank Correlation promotion variables play a role in improving employee morale with a yield of 0,407 and have a relationship and the variables that are significant

Abstract: The formulation of this study is review the influence of functional training planners to the quality planners, the influence of work motivation to the quality of planner, and the influence of functional training planners and motivation to work together to the quality of Bappenas planners. The method used in this research is descriptive method with quantitative approach. The sampling technique is using proportionate stratified random sampling with a number of sample sizes of 137 people. Furthermore, the data obtained, processed and analyzed with SPSS 19.0 for windows Program by performing statistical test, those are the t test and F test. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive influence between functional training planners to quality planners, work motivation to quality planners, and the influence of the two together to the quality planner. The dimension of functional training planners that have an influence to the quality of planners is the management and faculty training. In addition, the study is also found that the dimension of work motivation which has an influence to the quality of planners is the need for achievement and the need for power. Keywords: Training, Work Motivation, Quality Planner Abstrak: Perumusan penelitian ini mengkaji besarnya pengaruh diklat fungsional perencana terhadap kualitas perencana, pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kualitas perencana, dan pengaruh diklat fungsional perencana dan motivasi kerja secara bersama-sama terhadap kualitas perencana Bappenas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh perencana di Bappenas tahun 2016. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportionate stratified random sampling dengan jumlah ukuran sampel 137 orang. Selanjutnya, data yang diperoleh, diolah dan dianalisa  dengan bantuan program SPSS 19.0 for windows dengan melakukan uji statistik yaitu uji t dan uji F. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif antara diklat fungsional perencana terhadap kualitas perencana, motivasi kerja terhadap kualitas perencana, dan pengaruh keduanya secara bersama-sama terhadap kualitas perencana. Dimensi diklat fungsional perencana yang memiliki pengaruh terhadap kualitas perencana adalah pengelolaan dan tenaga pengajar diklat. Selain itu, penelitian juga menemukan bahwa dimensi motivasi kerja yang memiliki pengaruh terhadap kualitas perencana adalah kebutuhan akan prestasi dan kebutuhan akan kekuasaan. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hubungan: budaya sekolah dengan kinerja guru; komunikasi dengan kinerja guru; budaya sekolah dengan komitmen; komunikasi dengan komitmen, komitmen dengan kinerja guru; budaya sekolah dengan kinerja melalui komitmen; komunikasi dengan kinerja guru melalui komitmen. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 250 orang guru di 100 Sekolah yang dipilih secara stratified proporsional random sampling dari populasi sebesar 2.276 orang guru yang tersebar di 274 SD Negeri di Kota Banjarmasin. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriftip dan analisi jalur. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa budaya sekolah memiliki hubungan dengan kinerja, komunikasi memiliki hubungan dengan kinerja, budaya sekolah memiliki hubungan dengan komitmen, komunikasi memiliki hubungan dengan komitmen, komitmen memiliki hubungan dengan kinerja guru, komitmen merupakan perantara hubugan budaya sekolah dengan kinerja guru dan hubungan komunikasi dengan kinerja guru. Kata Kunci: budaya sekolah, komunikasi, komitmen, kinerja THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SCHOOL CULTURE, COMMUNICATION, AND COMMITMENT AND THE STATE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL TEACHERS’ PERFORMANCE Abstract: This study was aimed to describe the relationship between: school culture and tea- chers’ performance; communication and teachers’ commitment; school culture and commitment; communication and commitment; commitment and teachers’ performance; school culture and performance through commitment; communication and teachers’ performance through commitment. The sample consisting of 250 teachers from 100 schools was selected using the stratified proportional random sampling technique from a population of 2,276 teachers teaching in 274 state elementary schools in Banjarmasin Municipality. The data were collected using an instrument which had been validated and which was reliable. The data were analyzed using the descriptive analysis and the path analysis. The findings showed that there was relationship between: school culture and teachers’ performance, communication and performance, school culture and commitment, communication and commitment, commitment and teachers’ performance. Commitment became an intervening variable between school culture and teachers’ performance and between communication and teachers’ performance. This study aims to find out 1) Influence of Student Perception on Financial Compensation and Work Environment On Interest in Choosing Teacher Profession In Economic Education Students 2) Influence of Student Perception On Financial Compensation On Interest in Choosing Teacher Profession In Economic Education Students and 3) Influence of Student Perception About Work Environment On Interest in Choosing Teacher Profession In Economic Education Students. The population in this study was students of Economic Education Faculty of Economics, Universitas Negeri Padang and the number of selected samples as many as 119 students. This type of research is descriptive associative research. The sampling technique used in this study is probability sampling by using proportional stratified random sampling. Data analysis using descriptive analysis, analysis requirement test, multiple regression, F test, determinant coefesien and t test. The results showed that 1) Students' Perception of Financial Compensation and Work Environment  had a significant effect on the Interest in Choosing a Teacher Profession. 2) Student Perception of Financial Compensation has a significant effect on the Interest in Choosing a Teacher Profession. 3) Student Perception of The Work Environment has a significant effect on the Interest in Choosing a Teacher Profession.

Tax reporting is the responsibility of taxpayers after making tax payments. The mismatch between the number of registered taxpayers and the number of taxpayers who report taxes is a separate problem for the government in managing the tax results received. Where the number who report taxes is very small compared to the number of registered taxpayers. Based on these problems, the purpose of this study is to determine the factors that influence individual taxpayer reporting compliance. The population used by all individual taxpayers who are registered at KPP Pratama Batam Selatan. While the sample was taken through simple random sampling technique with the Slovin formula so that the sample used was 100 respondents. Data analysis techniques are data instrument test, classical assumptions, descriptive analysis and hypothesis testing with the help of SPSS. The results obtained, partially the application of e-filling and tax sanctions has a significant effect on tax reporting compliance while tax awareness and understanding have no significant effect. The f test results show that all the independent variables simultaneously have a significant effect on the dependent variable.

Abstract:Several factors usually affect student’s Grade Point Average (GPA), including family support, associate friends and learning intensity. This study aims to determine whether there is an indirect effect of family and friends support associating with the cumulative achievement index of students through the excitement of learning as an intervening variable. This type of research is ex-post facto with a population of 278 students of the 2015-2017 Mathematics Tadris Study Program. We used a Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique to select a sample of 164 students. We obtained data through questionnaires and documentation and then analyzed using path analysis. The results showed that there was an indirect influence of family and friends support associating with student GPA through the intensity of learning as an intervening variable.Abstrak:Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK) mahasiswa biasanya dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, diantaranya adalah dukungan keluarga, teman bergaul dan intensitas belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh tidak langsung dukungan keluarga dan teman bergaul terhadap indeks prestasi komulatif mahasiswa melalui intensitas belajar sebagai variabel intervening. Jenis penelitian ini adalah ex-post facto dengan populasi sebanyak 278 mahasiswa Program Studi Tadris Matematika angkatan 2015-2017. Pengambilan sampel sebanyak 164 mahasiswa dilakukan dengan teknik Probability Sampling tipe Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Data diperoleh melalui kuisioner dan dokumentasi kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh tidak langsung dukungan keluarga dan teman bergaul terhadap IPK mahasiswa melalui intensitas belajar sebagai variabel interverning.
