Smoking is a health problem in Indonesia and one of the main factors of several chronic diseases that can lead to death, although many smokers are aware and admit that smoking can lead to cancer. WHO estimates that the number of smokers in Indonesia in 2025 will increase to 90 million people, or 45% of the total population. Some adolescents think that smoking is a need to relax or other reasons that make smoking commonplace. The proportion of smoking among people aged ≥10 years in Indonesia with smoking behavior every day is 24.3% and occasional smoking is 4.6%. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge, attitudes and smoking behavior in adolescents. The research method used is correlational with cross sectional approach. The population in this study were students and female students at SMKN Kota Jambi, the sampling technique with accidental sampling was 49 people. The instrument used was a questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed by univariate and bivariate and statistical tests were performed using the ch-square test. The results showed that most of the respondents had good knowledge of 57.1%, a positive attitude of 59.1% and the majority of adolescents did not smoke 63.2%. The statistical test results showed no significant relationship between knowledge and smoking behavior (P> 0.005) but there was a significant relationship between attitude and smoking behavior in adolescents (P <0.005). It is hoped that the school will implement a smoking-free area and put up a warning poster for the dangers of smoking in the school environment and carry out continuous monitoring and evaluation

Increasing levels of air pollution in Jakarta will have serious health impacts for those exposed, such as online motorcycle taxi drivers. Smoking behavior by online motorcycle taxi drivers can also cause health problems in the form of decreased lung function. This research aimed to figure the relationship between duration of exposure to air pollution and smoking behavior to lung function in online motorcycle taxi drivers at Jakarta. This research used a descriptive correlation design with cross-sectional approach which conducted in June-July 2020. There were 106 online motorcycle taxi drivers selected using accidental sampling technique. Lung function measured using the mMRC dyspnoe scale and distributed using google form. The results of this study found that the mostly 97,7% online motorcycle taxi drivers worked > 40 hours/ week, 68,9% online motorcycle taxi drivers categorized of mild smoking, 60,4% online motorcycle taxi drivers had no dyspnea symptoms (grade 0). Statistical analysis using chi-square showed that there is a significant relationship between smoking behavior with lung function (p-value 0,001), however, there is no significant relationship between duration of exposure to air pollution with lung function (p-value 0,056). It’s expected that online motorcycle taxi drivers can use masks while working to reduce exposure to air pollution and lesser to quit smoking.

BACKGROUND: Lack of knowledge and inappropriate attitude toward pain management have been recognized as major obstacles to the application of pain management by health workers. Most of the nurses carry out pain management when performing invasive actions on children is not good. AIM: The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the level of knowledge and the behavior of nurses in pain management in children during invasive procedures. METHODS: This study used an analytic observational design with a cross-sectional engineering design with a total population of 30 nurses and a total sample of 30 nurses at RSI A. Yani Surabaya and used a total sampling technique. The independent variable in this study is the level of knowledge, while the dependent variable is the behavior of nurses when performing invasive actions on children. Data were analyzed using the Fisher Exact Test for significance α = 0.05. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire and observation sheet. RESULTS: The results showed that 23 respondents who have sufficient knowledge with 18 respondents having positive behavior and 5 respondents being negative. While 4 respondents who have good knowledge with positive behavior 3 respondents and 1 respondent behaves negatively. respondents who have less knowledge, there are 3 respondents with negative behavior. p = 0.033 (p < 0.05) then there is a knowledge relationship with the behavior of nurses on pain management in children during invasive procedures. CONCLUSION: The level of knowledge of nurses about pain management in children during invasive procedures obtained a enough level of knowledge. The nurse’s behavior level toward pain management in children during invasive procedures is positive. The results of the analysis using statistical tests showed that there was a relationship between the knowledge and behavior of nurses about pain management in children during invasive procedures.

Introduction: Injectable contraception is the most widely used type of contraception by Indonesian mothers because of its effective way of working, practical use, and lower price. However, in the use of injectable contraception, there are side effects, one of which is weight gain. Objective: To find out the differences in weight gain for 1-month and 3-months of injecting contraceptive acceptors. Method: This was an analytical observational study with a cross-sectional design. This research was conducted at the Independent Practice Midwife of Sri Retnaningtyas, Tambaksari District, Surabaya. The total sample is 110 respondents with a consecutive sampling technique. Data collection using medical records and statistical tests using independent sample t-test. Results: Analyzing the weight gain in the contraceptive injection acceptor that is the average injection of 1-month experienced of 2.16 kilograms and injections of 3-months experienced of 2.95 kilograms. The results of the independent t-test with a significance value of 0.039 (p <0.05). Conclusion: There was a significant difference in weight gain between 1-month and 3-months injective contraception acceptors, with the highest increase occurred in 3-months, injective contraceptive acceptors.

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between sources of information and the level of knowledge about nutrition in pregnant women at the Ciruas Health Center in 2019, including family information, mass media information, and information on health workers. This type of research is analytic, with a cross sectional design (cross-sectional). Data analysis with univariate analysis (frequency distribution) and bivariate analysis (Kai Squared Test). Based on the results of the study, it was found that most of the mothers obtained good sources of information from their families (62.7%). Statistical test results obtained p value = 0.031 and OR = 4.821, indicating that there is a significant relationship between family sources of information and the level of knowledge about nutrition in pregnant women, most of the mothers received good sources of information from health workers (58.8%). Statistical test results obtained p value = 0.041 and OR = 4.185, so that there is a significant relationship between sources of information from health workers and the level of knowledge about nutrition in pregnant women and most mothers get good sources of information from the mass media (84.3%). The results of statistical tests obtained p value = 0.117 and OR = 6.682, so there is no significant relationship between sources of mass media information and the level of knowledge about nutrition in pregnant women

This research is motivated by very poor smoking habits in Indonesia. On the other hand, the medical problems caused by this habit are numerous. Smokers are susceptible to diseases. In a previous study in Central Jakarta, it was stated that there was a positive relationship between health status and education level of a person. In different and more specific objects, this study aims to determine the relationship of a person's education level with smoking behavior. This research was conducted with quantitative research methods, using analytical research designs with cross-sectional approach conducted in January 2019. The research sample consisted of 42 male employees. Data was collected using a questionnaire. The analysis used in this study uses univariate analysis with frequency distribution, and bivariate analysis using chi-square statistical tests. Based on these methods, the results showed that as many as 33 respondents (78.6%) had undergraduate education levels and 33 respondents (78.6%) had smoking behavior. Based on statistical tests it is known that there is a significant relationship between education level and smoking behavior in male employees with p-value = 0.018 (p <0.05). From the results of the study it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the level of education with smoking behavior in male employees.
