Omuto Village is one of the villages located in the Biau sub-district, Gorontalo Regency. To the north is Tapalu Village, Tenilo, Biau Village, to the east by Didingga Village, to the south by Potanga Village, the West to contigous with Molangga Village. The livelihoods of the people of Omuto Village are Farmers. Corn processing is still limited to processing for traditional foods such as milu siram. This type of traditional food has a low shelf life at a low selling price. Most of the corn commodities in Omuto Village are marketed in primary form (fresh corn) or shelled dry maize with a low selling value. This program of KKS Service activities aims to increase the added value of corn through the diversification of processed food. The target of this activity is so that the target group can acquire skills in processing various kinds of products made from corn, so that gradually they are motivated to develop businesses with a commercial-business mindset. This KKS Service activity will be carried out from September to October 2020. The technique used to socialize innovations in the field of food processing technology to the public is through communicative learning through training activities. Efforts to empower the community in Omuto Village are carried out by providing guidance and transfer of knowledge. technical skills and how to process corn commodities into processed products in the form of home industries

Community empowerment activities are carried out in Alor Regency - East Nusa Tenggara through the application of fish-based food processing technology in 2018 & 2019, aimed at improving the community’s economy in the coastal area of Alor Island and building the concept of sustainable empowerment. The intervention stage is approached by the Community Capacity Building method. Community empowerment carried out through the transfer of knowledge and technology with continuous assistance has implications for improving coastal communities’ skills and the use of technology to increase added value to get better income. In order for community empowerment to be sustainable, LIPI and the local government of Alor Regency have developed a community empowerment concept that local governments can implement to develop their areas and communities in a better and more competitive direction. By collaborating between R & D institutions, local governments, and business actors (triple helix) and the market, it is hoped that the economy of the people in the coastal area of Alor Island will run well and can be a lever in the development of areas based on the use of technology in the community.

ABSTRAKDesa kekeri merupakan salah satu desa sentra produksi nangka di Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Produksi buah nangka di desa tersebut melimpah namun tidak diikuti dengan harga jual yang tinggi. Ketika musim buah nangka tiba, harga jual nangka tidak memiliki nilai sedikitpun karena penjualan buah nangka dalam keadaan segar tanpa adanya proses pengolahan lebih lanjut. Berdasarkan kenyataan tersebut, dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian yang bertujuan untuk : (1) Memberikan pemahaman dan pengetahuan kepada masyarakat tentang nutrisi, manfaat dan olahan buah nangka (2) Menjelaskan dan memberikan percontohan kepada ibu – ibu rumah tangga dan remaja putri tentang aplikasi teknologi pengolahan dodol nangka dan susu biji nangka. (3) Memberikan ketrampilan kepada kelompok masyarakat khususnya ibu – ibu dan remaja putri tentang bagaimana cara meningkatkan pendapatan rumah tangga serta pemenuhan gizi keluarga melalui aplikasi teknologi pengolahan dodol nangka dan susu biji nangka. Pelaksanaan kegiatan ini berlangsung dengan sukses dan lancar sesuai dengan rencana. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang nutrisi, manfaat dan olahan nangka. Selain itu juga mampu meningkatkan keterampilan peserta penyuluhan untuk mengolah dodol nangka dan susu biji nangka. Diharapkan kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat bermanfaat bagi peserta kegiatan untuk menjadi ide rintisan usaha dodol nangka meningkatkan pendapatan keluarganya serta dapat memenuhi gizi keluarga melalui aplikasi teknologi pengolahan susu biji nangka. Kata kunci: pemberdayaan masyarakat; dodol nangka; susu biji nangka; kekeri. ABSTRACTKekeri village is one of the centers for jackfruit production in West Lombok Regency. The production of jackfruit in the village is abundant but not accompanied by a high selling price. When the jackfruit season arrives, jackfruit's selling price is meager because the sale of jackfruit is fresh without further processing. Based on this fact, service activities were carried out aimed at: (1) Providing understanding and knowledge to the public about nutrition, benefits, and processed jackfruit (2) Explaining and giving examples to housewives and young women about the application of jackfruit dodol and jackfruit seeds milk processing. (3) Providing skills to community groups, especially mothers and young women, on increasing household income and fulfilling family nutrition by applying jackfruit lunkhead and jackfruit seed milk processing. This activity was carried out successfully and smoothly according to plan. This community service activity can increase public knowledge about nutrition, benefits, and processed jackfruit. Besides, it can also improve the extension participants' skills to process jackfruit lunkhead and jackfruit seed milk. There are several problems in the community with children in the fields of Education, Law and Health. There are still children under 18 years of age who are exploited as commercial sexual workers; children in conflict with the law, children aged 10-18 Years work in the informal sector, children who leave primary school before graduating or do not continue to the next level due to access and economy; adoption cases are carried out outside the standard population administration procedures; the discovery of stunted children. So, it is necessary to increase public understanding regarding child protection. One of those who have the responsibility of providing protection to children is the parent, the service program is carried out by providing material related to the role of parents and society in providing protection to children. The delivery of this material aims to provide an understanding of child protection in terms of education, law and health so that the public can understand the importance of protecting children. This service activity in Tambun Village can be said to be successful. There was a request from the participants to continue this activity. The people of Tambun Village hope that for further activities, further training is given regarding the skills needed by parents and the community. To increase community understanding, the WA Group was also created, whose members are parents who have participated in the Socialization program, this group aims to be a forum for communication between the Service Team and the local community.

The community of Sampora village, located in Tangerang, has been able to cultivate catfish. In general, the catfish that is produced is directly sold without being processed. In order to increase the economic value of catfish, it is better if catfish is processed into ready-to-eat food products whose selling price can be higher than the price of raw catfish. One of the catfish processed products that can be made is catfish shredded. Shredded catfish has high protein and low cholesterol levels. In addition, shredded catfish is a durable food, can be processed in various flavors so that it is of great interest to the public. Therefore, through community service activities, the Faculty of Engineering collaborates with Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDES), Sampora Village to provide counseling / assistance for mothers to process catfish into catfish floss without using oil. During this pandemic, assistance was provided in the form of online tutorials. With this assistance, it is hoped that the women of Sampora village can produce shredded catfish products that can be sold in food stalls prepared by BumDes.

The beginning of 2020 is a new challenge for all countries affected by Covid 19, including Indonesia. The number of cases that continues to grow is a public concern. Even so, there are still many people who do not care about the dangers of the virus. Not only physically and psychologically, this global case also affects the economic condition of the community. One of the communities affected by the economy due to the Covid-19 pandemic is the people of Surien Village, Banda Aceh. This service activity aims to disseminate the prevention of Covid-19 transmission and assistance to strengthen the economy of the affected community in Surien Village, Meuraxa District, Banda Aceh City. The method used is to educate the public about health protocols that have been issued by the government to prevent transmission of the corona virus. Socialization was carried out by practicing and distributing brochures containing detailed health protocols such as wearing masks, physical distance from crowds and proper and proper hand washing methods tucked into the basic needs assistance. The results of these activities provide a deeper understanding to the public about the importance of wearing masks and washing hands properly for the early prevention of the spread of Covid-19. Providing basic food assistance is very useful for strengthening the economy of people who tend to be unprivileged during the Covid-19 pandemic issue.

The background of this study is because of the number of Salak fruits in wrong treatment so that the group of farmers work together to make the fruits into several processed products.   Home industy of farmers group Ambudi Makmur 2 Kramat Bangkalan is one of home industries in Bangkalan district; this company is engaged in the production and processing of salak. The company has 13 products from the processed salak good management is needed to make the production activities run optimally. Besides, it is also supported by the alignment of production factors so that the production activities are in accordance with the targets of expectation. Because it affects the income and progress of the company, this type of the study is included in field research. To obtain the data in this study, the present study used interview, observation and documentation. Meanwhile, in analyzing the data, this study used qualitative approach such as describing the object according to the actual fenomena. Based on the results of the research that the home industry or Unit Dagang (UD), Budy Jaya has carried out production management properly and does not against the Islamic economic principles, where in production activities uses clean and halal raw materials and equipments. Kelurahan Tunggulwulung merupakan salah daerah di Kecamatan Lowokwaru, Kota Malang yang memiliki potensi daerah berupa kesenian budaya tradisional. Hal ini dapat menjadikan Kelurahan Tunggulwulung sebagai daerah yang berpotensi untuk dikembangkan menjadi kampung wisata budaya di Kota Malang. Perlu adanya pemberdayaan masyarakat Tunggulwulung melalui pelatihan tembang macapat. Melalui program kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat di Universitas Islam Negeri Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, diharapkan menjadi salah satu program yang tepat dalam membantu masyarakat Tunggulwulung meningkatkan potensi daerah sebagai Kampung Budaya Tunggulwulung Yang Berbhineka Tunggal Ika yang dikenal masyarakat luas, baik nasional maupun internasional. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui perencanaan pelatihan tembang macapat; (2) terealisasikan pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan tembang macapat; (3) menumbuhkan kesadaran dari hasil kegiatan pelatihan tembang macapat; dan (4) mengetahui hambatan-hambatan kegiatan pelatihan tembang macapat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Partisipatory Action Research (PAR) dengan tahapan: Plan (Perencanaan), Action (Tindakan), Observe (Pengamatan), dan Reflect (Refleksi). Hasil pengabdian berbasis riset ini, yaitu (1) penyusunan materi kegiatan pelatihan tembang macapat pada tahap perencanaan; (2) pelaksanaan latihan tembang macapat bertempat di Sekolah Budaya Tunggulwulung; (3) kegiatan pelatihan ini dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap Kelurahan Tunggulwulung dalam mendukung terciptanya kampung budaya; dan (4) hambatan pada pelatihan tembang macapat: a) sulit menemukan waktu dalam latihan,b) peserta pelatihan dari kalangan tertentu saja, dan c) warga Kelurahan Tunggulwulung tidak semua warga berasal dari Jawa, sehingga enggan mengikuti pelatihan. Tembang Macapat: Motivator of Tunggulwulung VillageTowards the Malang City Cultural Tourism Village ABSTRACT Tunggulwulung Village is one of the areas in Lowokwaru District, Malang City which has regional potential in the form of traditional cultural arts. This can make Tunggulwulung Village an area that has the potential to be developed into a cultural tourism village in Malang. The need for community empowerment in Tunggulwulung through macapat song training. Through the community service program at the State Islamic University of Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang, it is expected to be one of the right programs to help the people of Tunggulwulung improve the potential of the region as the Diverse Single Cultural Community of Tunggulwulung, known to the wider community, both nationally and internationally. This community service activity aims to: (1) know the planning of a macapat song training; (2) the implementation of macapat song training activities is realized; (3) raising awareness of the results of macapat song training activities; and (4) know the obstacles of macapat song training activities. This research uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method with stages: Plan, Action, Observe, and Reflect. The results of this research-based service, namely (1) the preparation of material for macapat song training activities at the planning stage; (2) the macapat song training exercise takes place at the Tunggulwulung Cultural School; (3) this training activity can contribute to the Tunggulwulung Village in supporting the creation of a cultural village; and (4) barriers to macapat song training: a) it is difficult to find time in training, b) only certain participants, and c) not all residents of Tunggulwulung Kelurahan are from Java, so they are reluctant to attend training. Keywords: macapat song; Tunggulwulung Village; village of cultural tourism

With the increasing number of Covid-19 cases in Indonesia, including in Riau Province, it is necessary to implement Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB). PSBB is one way to reduce the impact of Covid-19. PSBB has currently been implemented in 10 regions in Indonesia as part of efforts to prevent the corona virus. The Central Government through the Ministry of Health has approved Pekanbaru to implement the PSBB. The main reason for implementing PSBB in dealing with the Covid-19 corona virus is because physical distancing, which has been carried out so far, is ineffective in the community. On that basis, the government strengthened the policy of physical restrictions for the community by implementing PSBB in the regions. It is necessary to do the socialization of PSBB and this Perwako, so that the public knows the Rules about PSBB. The service activity aims to provide guidance to the people of Pekanbaru City regarding Corona and PSBB, because Pekanbaru City is one of the cities that is a transit point. The implementation of activities to increase public knowledge about PSBB and Perwako was successful. This can be seen from changes in the behavior of people who were previously reluctant to wear masks, then have started wearing masks when they go out, as can be seen from the behavior of people who have avoided people's hassles and tried to keep their distance. The community also complies with large-scale social restrictions set by the government, this can be seen from the minimum community activity at night outside the home.

The problem of partners in community service activities is the lack of knowledge of the community of Rumbai Bukit Village, Rumbai District, Pekanbaru City regarding the settlement of disputes over land sale and purchase based on the Civil Code. The solution offered in this community service activity is to increase the knowledge of the community of Rumbai Bukit Village, Rumbai District, Pekanbaru City regarding the settlement of land purchase disputes based on the Civil Code. The implementation method used in community service activities is to use lecture, dialogue and discussion methods in order to provide legal counseling to the public. Partner participation in community service activities is to provide time, provide a place and supporting facilities, and present the community as participants of the activity. The output target of this community service is scientific articles that have been submitted and will be published in non-accredited national journals. The conclusion is that this activity has been successfully implemented and the benefits can be felt directly by the participants. This can be seen from the answers of the participants in the questionnaire given after the activity was carried out. After the activity was carried out, 88% of the participants answered that they knew the material presented. His suggestion is that the activities with this theme should be carried out not only to the people of Rumbai Bukit Village, but also to other urban communities in the Rumbai District of Pekanbaru City.

The problems faced by coconut shell charcoal craftsmen are production capacity, product quality, and low selling prices. Low product quality is due to the absence of quality standards in the production process. This activity aims to improve the management quality and add value to charcoal products by turning them into briquettes to increase the selling price. Implementing activities is divided into two different problem areas that one partner handles: production problems and management problems (raw material management, production process management, packing, and warehousing management, shipping management, product quality assurance management, and marketing management). The output of this community service activity is that coconut shell charcoal has been produced with an increased quality than before in terms of the low water content of less than 7%. Likewise, the briquettes to those produced are of high quality. There is an increase in added value through processing shell charcoal into briquettes which have significantly increased revenue and profit.
