The Effects of Facebook Live-Stream Teaching on Improving Students' Dance Skills

The purpose of this study is to enhance the effect of dance skill learning, learning motivation, and physical activity class satisfaction. Moreover, the outcome of these quasi-experiments illustrate the effects of Facebook Live-stream teaching, co-regulated learning (CRL), and experience-based learning (ExBL) on improving students' learning performance. The experimental design in this study was a 2 (CRL vs. non-CRL) × 2 (ExBL vs. non-ExBL) factorial pretest/post-test design. Four classes of a course titled ‘Physical Education: Dance' at university level were chosen for this study in one semester. According to the analysis of results, conclusions of this study are that students who receive ExBL have significantly higher physical activity class satisfaction than students who do not receive ExBL. In addition, in the case of ExBL teaching, the concurrent implementation of CRL can improve students' dance skill learning more than ExBL alone.

Pendahuluan: Sedentary life style merupakan salah satu faktor risiko terjadinya diabetes melitus tipe 2 (DMT-2) yang dapat dikendalikan. Hal ini dapat terjadi karena kurangnya pengetahuan mengenai pentingnya melakukan aktivitas fisik. Oleh karena itu pada penelitian ini diadakan penyuluhan kesehatan sehingga dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan serta merubah pola perilaku aktivitas fisik yang lebih sehat dan bertujuan untuk mencegah timbulnya penyakit DMT-2.Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan studi eksperimental dengan rancangan one group pre test and post test design. Responden adalah pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan Perguruan Tinggi di Malang yang berusia ³40 tahun dan tidak menderita diabetes melitus. Pengambilan data menggunakan instrumen soal pre test – post test untuk menilai tingkat pengetahuan dan kuesioner GPAQ (Global Physical Activity Questionnaire) untuk menilai perilaku aktivitas fisik. Sedangkan penyuluhan kesehatan sebagai intervensi. Analisa data kuantitatif menggunakan Wilcoxon test dan Sign test. Pada uji ini nilai p adalah signifikansi, dikatakan bermakna bila p<0,05.Hasil: Terdapat peningkatan rerata nilai pre test (61,75 ± 12,58) ke rerata nilai post test (77,25 ± 12,40) yang memiliki signifikansi (p 0,000). Jumlah responden sebanyak 40 orang yaitu 20 orang laki-laki dan 20 orang perempuan, dimana 19 orang mengalami peningkatan aktivitas fisik dengan signifikansi (p 0,000). Usia dan pekerjaan diketahui tidak memiliki perbedaan dengan tingkat pengetahuan dan perilaku aktivitas fisik. Sedangkan jenis kelamin memiliki perbedaan dengan perilaku aktivitas fisik sebelum penyuluhan, namun tidak memiliki perbedaan setelah diberikan penyuluhan.Kesimpulan: Terdapat perbedaan tingkat pengetahuan mengenai DMT-2 dan pentingnya melakukan aktivitas fisik setelah penyuluhan kesehatan sehingga meningkatkan pola perilaku aktivitas fisik sebagai upaya pencegahan DMT-2.

Siswa SMA perlu diberikan pembelajaran keterampilan vokasional sebagai bekal keterampilan hidup setelah lulus dari sekolah dengan memanfaatkan sumber daya alam di daerah setempat. Penelitian ini berjuan untuk membuat model pembelajaran keterampilan vokasional berbasis potensi lokal buah jengkol pada mata pelajaran Prakarya dan Kewirausahaan serta menguji kevalidan dan keefektifan penggunaan model dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah research and development yang disederhanakan dengan enam langkah yaitu analisis potensi dan masalah hingga uji coba skala terbatas. Langkah pertama yaitu studi pendahuluan untuk membangun model factual.  Model konseptual melalui analisis model faktual dan kajian teori, validitas model dilakukan melalui teknik delphi menggunakan validator ahli model. Menguji keefektifan model digunakan one group pre test-post test design dan penghitungan nilai gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukan pembelajaran project based learning yang mengangkat potensi lokal buah jengkol valid dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kecakapan siswa dalam bentuk kompetensi pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan. Pengolahan jengkol menjadi produk seperti lempok jengkol yang memiliki nilai jual. Selain meningkatkan sikap dan keterampilan kewirausahaan, model ini juga dapat meningkatkan sikap menghargai potensi lokal di daerah setempat. The student of high school need to be given a vocational skills as a provision of living skill after graduating from the school by making use of the natural resources in nearby areas. This research is aimed to make vocational skill learning model based on local potency of jengkol on the subjects of Prakarya and Entrepreneurship as well as to test the validity and effectiveness of the model usage in learning activities. The method used in this research was a research and development that was simplified by six steps, namely the analysis of potentials and problems to a limited scale trial. The first step was a preliminary study to build a factual model. Conceptual model through factual model analysis and theoretical study, model validity was done through delphi technique using expert model validator. The effectiveness of the model was tested by using one group pre-test – post-test design and gained value calculation. The result of the research showed that the project based learning that raised the local potential of dog fruit is valid and effective to improve the students' skill in the form of knowledge, attitude and skill competence. Dog fruit might be processed into a product such as jengkol lempok that has a sale value. Besides improving entrepreneurial attitudes and skills, this model can also enhance the attitude of appreciating local potential in the local area.

Research was triggered by the problem that encountered by researchers in the form of the learning motivation of students was low if the learning only used a discussion method in the lecture process. The purpose of this research was to determine the effect of the use of portfolio assessment accompanied by giving constructive feedback to learning motivation of students in scientific writing course. The research design that used was one group pre-test and post-test design. The sample in the research was the first semester of the B class in the Biology department, FTIK, IAIN Kerinci with the total numbers of students was 32 students. The instruments that used were learning motivation questionnaires of students that described from five indicators. Data from learning motivation results were analyzed through <N-Gain> to determine the improvement for each indicator of learning motivation. The results of this research are indicators of perseverance, interest, and independence which have a high improvement while indicators of tenacity and achievement can classified into the moderate category.

Abstract: The modern technology brings negative impact to human life that is the lack of physical activity which is not good for health and can cause varieties of diseases. Some studies show that lack of physical activity can lower pulmonary resistance and also a major cause of morbidity and mortality. Zumba is a Latine-inspired danse workout first developed in Columbia. The improvement of respiratory muscle endurance is gained from physical exercise . One asessment is a measurement of lung function FEV1 ( Forced expiratory volume in one Second ) which can provide information on the maximum rate of air flow in the lung. This study have a purpose to find out the influence of zumba exercise against FEV1 value of female students year 2013 Medical Faculty of Nursing Science Sam Ratulangi University hwo with less of physical or sport activities and meet the inclusion criteria. This was an experimental study with one group pre and post test design. Data was analyzed by paired t test using SPSS. The results showed significant differences between the average values of FEV 1 before and after 2 weeks of zumba exercise with P = 0,044 (P < 0.05). Conclusion: There was an increase of FEV 1 value after 2 weeks of Zumba exercise.Keywords: physical exercise, FEV1, Zumba.Abstrak: Kemajuan teknologi moderen membawa dampak negatif bagi masyarakat yaitu Kurangnya aktifitas fisik yang dapat berdampak buruk bagi kesehatan yaitu timbulnya berbagai penyakit. Beberapa penelitian menunjukkan berkurangnya aktifitas fisik dapat menurunkan daya tahan paru serta merupakan penyebab utama morbiditas dan mortalitas. Zumba merupakan latihan tari Latin yang terinspirasi pertama kali dan dikembangkan di Columbia. Peningkatan daya tahan otot pernapasan dapat diperoleh dari latihan fisik. Salah satu penilaian fungsi paru adalah pengukuran FEV1 (Forced Expiratory Volume in one Second) yang dapat memberikan informasi tentang laju aliran udara maksimal dalam paru. Penelitini ini ber tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan zumba terhadap nilai FEV1 pada Mahasiswi Program Studi Ilmu Keperawatan angkatan 2013 Universitas Sam Ratulangi yang kurang melakukan aktivitas fisik atau olahraga dan memenuhi kriteria. Metode penelitian ini bersifat eksperimental dengan rancangan one group pre and post test design. Data dianalisis dengan uji t berpasangan menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan perbedaan signifikansi antara nilai rata-rata FEV1 sebelum dan setelah 2 minggu latihan zumba P = 0,04 (P < 0,05). Simpulan: Terdapat peningkatan nilai FEV1 sesudah 2 minggu latihan zumba.Kata kunci : aktifitas fisik, FEV1, Zumba.

ABSTRAK Berbagai masalah gizi diderita oleh sebagian besar masyarakat Indonesia dan salah satu masalah gizi utama adalah anemia gizi besi. Salah satu upaya untuk memperbaiki pola konsumsi pangan dan pola kebiasaan yang bertujuan untuk menanggulangi anemia dikalangan masyarakat terutama ibu hamil dengan melalui peningkatan pengetahuan, sikap dan perilaku seseorang dengan penyuluhan gizi dan mengonsumsi tablet tambah darah. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penyuluhan gizi, asupan gizi dan pemberian tablet tambah darah terhadap kadar hemoglobin ibu hamil di Puskesmas Paccerakkang Kota Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analitik dengan rancangan one-group pre-test and post-test design. Data diperoleh dari hasil Pre test dan Post test menggunakan kuesioner, pengambilan Hb, recall 24 jam dan data tablet tambah darah yang di konsumsi. Kadar hemoglobin ibu hamil pada awalnya anemia (100%) dan pada akhir terdapat sebanyak 8 orang (53,33%). Hasil pre dan post test ibu hamil yang memiliki criteria baik sebelum mendapatkan penyuluhan gizi sebanyak 2 orang (13,33 %) dan setelah mendapatkan penyuluhan gizi sebanyak 4  orang (26,67%). Asupan gizi (energi) ibu hamil yang memiliki criteria asupan baik di awal sebanyak 1  orang (6,67 %) dan di akhir sebanyak 9  orang (60%). Asupan gizi (protein) baik di awal sebanyak 3 orang (20 %) dan di akhir sebanyak 4  orang (26,67%). Pada umumnya asupan Fe di awal dan di akhir dari 15 ibu hamil 100% tergolong kurang. Ibu hamil yang mengkonsumsi tablet tambah darah dengan baik sebanyak 6 orang (40%). Disarankan ibu hamil turut berpartisipasi setiap pemeriksaan rutin yang diadakan oleh Puskesmas guna mencegah terjadinya masalah gizi.

<p><em>Buerger Allen Exercise</em> mampu meningkatkan pemakaian glukosa oleh otot yang aktif sehingga glukosa dalam darah dapat menurun, dapat membantu mencegah terjadinya penyakit arteri perifer, serta meningkatkan aliran darah ke arteri dan berefek positif pada metabolisme glukosa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai <em>ankle brachial index</em>pada penderita diabetes melitus tipe 2setelah melakukan <em>Buerger Allen exercise</em>. Jenis penelitian ini adalah <em>quasy-experiment </em>dengan<em> pre-post test design with control group</em><em>.</em> Jumlah sampel 60 penderita diabetes melitus tipe 2 dengan <em>purposive sampling</em>, dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok yaitu kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol. Responden kelompok perlakuan diberikan intervensi <em>Buerger Allen exercise</em> sebanyak 12 kali  selama 15 hari.Penelitian dilakukan di wilayah Puskesmas Kecamatan Nganjuk.Data hasilpengukuran nilai <em>ankle brachial index</em>berupa ratio dan diuji statistik dengan <em>Paired Samples Test</em>. Didapatkan <em>p value</em> 0.001 untuk kelompok perlakuan (<em>p value</em>&lt; 0.05) yang menunjukkan bahwa adanya perubahan bermakna secara statistik nilai <em>ankle brachial index</em> sesudah melakukan <em>Buerger Allen exercise</em>. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai <em>ankle brachial index</em>pada penderita diabetes melitus tipe 2 meningkat sesudah melakukan <em>Buerger Allen exercise</em>.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Kata kunci :penderita diabetes melitus tipe2, <em>Buerger Allen Exercise, Ankle brachial index</em></strong></p><p> </p>

Depression in eldery couldn’t be easily detected because physical complaint was more often than emotional complaint. In severe case, depression could cause suicidal behaviour (Irawan, 2013). Therefore, elderly need assistance to deal with depression, and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is one of the solution. Research design is pre-experimental design, using pre-test and post-test design. Before intervention, Geriatric Depression Scale test were given to one group of elder people. EFT intervention were given two times for four weeks, and Geriatric Depression Scale test were tested after intervention. Population was elder people who fulfill inclusion criterias, and 30 elderly were obatained. The significancy result was 0,000 (α = 0,05), it could be inferred that EFT has a strong relationship to depression scale. EFT could significantly reduce depression scale in elderly, so it can bes used effectively.

Hepatitis has become a health problem in the world. The hepatitis virus infected many people. According to the teacher of MTsN 02 Bondowoso more than 20 students have hepatitis A viral infection. The purpose of this research was to know the differences of students' knowledge about hepatitis A before and after counseling in MTsN 02 Bondowoso 2015. This study used pre-experimental (pre-post test design). This study used stratified random sampling technique, 127 students from 270 sample involved this research,and 143 students was excluded. We used questionnaires to collect data. The results showed that the mean value of the students 'knowledge about hepatitis A before counseling in MTsN 02 Bondowoso 2015 was 83.96 with the lowest value of 37.5 and the highest value was 100. The mean value of the students' knowledge about hepatitis A after counseling in MTsN 02 Bondowoso 2015 was 93.21 with the lowest value waf 62.5 and the highest value was 100. Paired t test showed that t (-9.07) > t table (1.98), the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected. There was a difference between students' knowledge about hepatitis A before and after counseling in MTsN 02 Bondowoso 2015. This study showed that routine counseling by healthcare provider was important to prevent hepatitis A infection.; Keywords: counseling, knowledge of students, hepatitis

This research is to determine the effect of realistic mathematical approach on students’ learning motivation. The research method is pre-experiment of one group pretest posttest design. This study was conducted with 34 fifth grade students from a public school in Pekanbaru, Indonesia. The results indicate that students’ learning motivation significantly increases. Among six indicators measuring students’ learning motivation, the indicator of interesting activities in learning is the most increase, from 80.76% in pre-test to 86.40% in post-test. The average score of pretest in form of students’ learning motivation questionnaire before applying treatment was 90.56 while score posttest after treatment was 95,09 and the results of the research hypotheses using the comparative t-test tcount (6.997) > ttable (2.039). This means that there is an effect of applying the realistic mathematical approach to students’ learning motivation.
