The School Literacy Movement launched by the Ministry of Education and Culture in the school environment is not easy to implement in SMP Negeri 1 Sampang. Students often say it is difficult to complete assignments from the teacher. This is evident when writing activity reports students often say I can't, how do I start and where do I start. The inability of students in literacy is caused by very low interest in reading because students spend more time with gadgets. Here the researcher as a social studies teacher carries out a strategy of integrated learning activities with Civics, PAI, Indonesian language, and cultural arts subjects, Best practice using the Discovery Learning method through the media screening of the G30S/PKI event documentary. Integrative RPP material with the theme Political Development in Indonesia for class IX odd semesters is able to create a literacy culture at SMP Negeri 1 Sampang. This is evidenced by the increase in the number of students who are able to complete assignments by 88%, from 12% to 100%. ABSTRAKGerakan Literasi Sekolah yang dicanangkan oleh Kemendikbud di lingkungan sekolah tidaklah mudah untuk dilaksanakan di sekolah SMP Negeri 1 Sampang. Siswa sering kali mengatakan sulit untuk menyelesaikan tugas dari guru. Hal ini terbukti ketika menuliskan laporan kegiatan seringkali siswa mengatakan saya tidak bisa, bagaimana saya memulainya dan dari mana saya memulainya. Ketidak mampuan siswa dalam berliterasi disebabkan oleh minat baca yang sangat rendah karena siswa lebih banyak menghabiskan waktunya dengan gawai. Disini peneliti selaku guru IPS melakukan strategi kegiatan pembelajaran berintegrasi dengan mata pelajaran PPKn, PAI, Bahasa Indonesia, dan seni Budaya, Best practice menggunakan metode Discovery Learning melalui media pemutaran film documenter peristiwa G30S/PKI. Materi RPP Integratif dengan tema Perkembangan Politik di Indonesia kelas IX semester ganjil mampu mewujudkan budaya literasi di SMP Negeri 1 Sampang. Hal ini dibuktikan dari peningkatan jumlah siswa yang mampu menyelesaikan tugas sebesar 88% yaitu dari 12% menajadi 100%

The objectives of this study are to (1) plan teaching learning Indonesian with media audio of local folklore of Magetan to cultivate religious values in MI Nurul Islam Tanjung Bendo, Magetan, (2) do teaching learning Indonesian with media audio of local folklore of Magetan to cultivate religious values in MI Nurul Islam Tanjung Bendo, Magetan, and (3) evaluate teaching learning Indonesian with media audio of local folklore of Magetan to cultivate religious values in MI Nurul Islam Tanjung Bendo, Magetan.  This research using qualitative research descriptive. Source of the data in this study are both learning activities conducted by the teachers and students, and documentation. Techniques collecting data used was interviewing and documentating. The results showed that (1) planning of teaching learning is in the form of lesson plan (RPP) and the preparation of the media audio is in the form of recording, and also the tests (2) teaching learning Indonesian is based on the lesson plans, settig up a teaching materials and software learning. (3) evaluating the teachig learning was done in the form of written and oral test.

This study aims to improve Indonesian language learning activities through the application of discovery learning models to class VII.1 students of SMPN 3 Koto Baru. Classroom action research was carried out for two cycles, with each cycle holding two meetings. Each meeting is held by applying the discovery learning model. As a data collection tool is the result of observation of student learning activities in cycle 1 and cycle 2. The results of research obtained on student learning activities at the initial observation of 68% categories (less active), increased 80% categories (active) in the first cycle, and increased again 85% (active) category in cycle II. Learning activities of students learning Indonesian experience an improvement from the first cycle to the second cycle, this shows that the discovery learning model can be used as an alternative learning to improve student learning activities.

Target of this research is to describe objectively about: (1) the kinds of Indonesian learning media, (2) the activities use media in learning of Indonesian language, and (3) the achievement of the students of SMP Negeri 3 Baureno referring to the usage of media in learning Indonesian language.To reach the target above, this research use qualitative approach. Source of data in this research is kinds of learning media used by Indonesian teachers, the teaching learning activities that use the learning media, and the students’ achievement posed at with daily test. The data collected through observation, interview, and documentation.Based on the data analysis which is described descriptive qualitative obtained the following conclusions (1) the kinds of learning media used by the Indonesian teachers in the form of conventional media, (2) the activities that use the learning media applied by the Indonesia teachers depend on the creativity of the teacher to modify the media so that the conventional media have new value because supple in its use, and (3) the achievement of students grade VII of SMP Negeri 3 Baureno referring to the usage of media in learning Indonesian language very gratifying, both aspect of language skills and  aspect of language art.

This research aimed to determine the properness and effectiveness of the big book media on learning equivalent fractions of fourth grade students. The method of research is Research and Development  (R&D). This study was conducted in fourth grade of SDN Karanganyar 02 Kota Semarang. Data sources from media validation, material validation, learning outcomes, and teacher and students responses on developed media. Pre-experimental research design with one group pretest-posttest design. Big book developed consist of equivalent fractions material, students learning activities sheets with rectangle and circle shape pictures, and questions about equivalent fractions. Big book was developed based on students and teacher needs. This big book fulfill the media validity of 3,75 with very good criteria and scored 3 by material experts with good criteria. In large-scale trial, the result of students posttest have learning outcomes completness 82,14%. The result of N-gain calculation with result 0,55 indicates the criterion “medium”. The t-test result 9,6320 > 2,0484 which means the average of posttest outcomes is better than the average of pretest outcomes. Based on that data, this study has produced big book media which proper and effective as a media of learning equivalent fractions of fourth grade elementary school.

BACKGROUND Health professionals (HPs) play a key role in dementia management and detection. However, there is a gap in the literature as to what represents best practice with regard to educating HPs to improve their dementia detection practices and management. OBJECTIVE The objective of this scoping review is to synthesize the aggregated studies aimed at improving health care knowledge, detection practices and management of dementia among HPs. METHODS We searched electronically published relevant articles with inclusion criteria; (1) intervention studies aimed at improving HPs practices concerning dementia care and (2) educational interventions focused on nurses and doctors’ knowledge, detection practice and management of dementia. Twenty-five articles fit the inclusion criteria. RESULTS Collaborative programs of practice based workshops, interactive learning activities with community and multi-faced educational program were the most effective. CONCLUSIONS HPs should be supported to improve their knowledge, tackle behavioural problems associated with dementia, be made aware of services and be enabled to engage in more early diagnosis. The lecture method is one of the methods that are often used by teachers in teaching and learning activities. This method is a method that is easy to implement and also cheap, because without the media and infrastructure it can be done. Some people underestimate this method and some even argue that it is outdated and left behind. According to the author's observations, this method remains relevant in any situation and condition, especially if a teacher is someone who is proficient in communicating and understanding the psychological condition and level of ability of the students he or she faces. The point is khootibunnaasa 'alaa qodri uqulihim (speak to humans according to their level of knowledge). The writing of this article uses the library research method, namely by digging and reviewing the literature that is related to the theme of writing this article. The results of the study and the author's study related to this lecture learning method are still very relevant and effective, especially during this covid-19 pandemic. By taking into account the following points; first, a teacher understands the science of communication well, second, understands the psychological condition of the audience/students, third, is able to touch students' emotions, fourth, includes elements of humor and is good at telling stories, fifth, is able to use social media and technology well.

ABSTRACTThis study is based ob the background behind the learning process that is less varied and the skill of communicating children is still low. Enthusiastic children to communicate what has been observed and done is still very lacking, children only communicate verbally. Though the process of communicating can be conveyed nonverbally, for example images, movements, and tables. Based on observations, the teacher also gives less opportunities for children to try and express their opinions. The media used is also very limited, so the learning process becomes less fun for children. Even though scientific learning should be a fun learning for children because children can try the media in the scientific learning activities. The purpose of this study was to improve the communication skills in class B RA Al-Istiqomah in Tasikmalaya City. This study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR). This study was conducted in three cycles using the Kemmis Mc model. Taggart. The research subjects were children of group B RA Al-Istiqomah in Tasikmalaya City totaling 16 children. The object of this research is the skill to communicate. Rainbow Water science games are games used in learning to improve communication skills. Data collection techniques use documentation and documentation, while data analysis techniques use quantitative descriptive. The instrument used is a structured observation sheet with the achievement of indicators for each activity. The results of the research that have been carried out show that there is an increase in the skills of communicating through science games. This is evidenced by an increase in the ability of teachers to plan learning, the ability of teachers in the process of implementing learning through science games from each cycle. The final result of the skill in communicating the child is in good criteria, the end result of the teacher's ability to plan learning is in very good criteria, and the end result of the teacher's ability to carry out the learning is in very good criteria. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini di latar belakangi dari proses pembelajaran yang kurang variatif dan keterampilan mengkomunikasikan anak masih rendah. Antusias anak untuk mengkomunikasikan apa yang telah diamati dan dilakukannya masih sangat kurang, anak hanya mengkomunikasikan dengan cara verbal. Padahal proses mengkomunikasikan dapat disampaikan secara nonverbal, misalnya gambar, gerakan, dan tabel. Berdasarkan pengamatan, guru juga kurang memberi kesempatan anak untuk mencoba dan mengeluarkan pendapatnya. Media yang digunakan juga sangat terbatas, sehingga proses pembelajaran menjadi kurang menyenangkan bagi anak. Padahal seharusnya pembelajaran saintifik merupakan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan bagi anak karena anak dapat mencoba media dalam kegiatan pembelajaran saintifik tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mengkomunikasikan di kelas B RA Al-Istiqomah Kota Tasikmalaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan sebanyak tiga siklus dengan menggunakan model Kemmis Mc. Taggart. Subjek penelitian adalah anak kelompok B RA Al-Istiqomah Kota Tasikmalaya yang berjumlah 16 anak. Objek penelitian ini adalah keterampilan mengkomunikasikan. Permainan sains Rainbow Water adalah permainan yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan mengkomunikasikan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi dan dokumentasi, Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Instrument yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi terstruktur dengan capaian indikator setiap kegiatannya. Hasil penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan keterampilan mengkomunikasikan melalui permainan sains.

In the implementation of learning activities that occur at SD Plus Pesantren Al-Anwar, problems when implementing learning activities, among others, are the media used are not supportive, teachers use learning resources in the form of books and have not used certain learning media. This is the cause of students tend to be passive in learning activities. When learning theme 3 sub-theme 2 learning 2 in class IV the teacher uses image media in teaching and learning activities, making students less understanding of the material. As a result, students are less interested in teaching and learning activities. This research was conducted in class IV, which consisted of 20 students. In the development research that has been carried out, it is expected to be able to provide a good influence for students, the Fun Thinkers book media is to foster student learning activities and achievements and must use media that can foster student interest in learning so that they are enthusiastic in undergoing the learning process. Research using the ADDIE model which passes through 5 stages.

Interactive multimedia is a technology that mediates the development of learning activities to make it more interesting and enjoyable so that it can motivate students to learn. This study aims to determine feasibility of interactive learning multimedia product in motivating student for fourth grade of elementary school to learn mathematics. The research method uses the concept of ADDIE models to develop products with five stages, 1) analyze; 2) design; 3) develop; 4) implement; and 5) evaluate. The result showed that the development of interactive learning multimedia is feasible used for motivating students in grade 4 to learn mathematics. The result of validation by material experts showed that the products developed reached a score of 43 so that it was included in the "very good" category, while the results of the validation by the media experts showed that the products developed reached a score of 59 so that it was included in the "very good" category. Teacher responses related to the practicality of product use reached a score of 113 so that it was included in the "very good" category, while student responses related to the practicality of using the product reached a score of 83 so that it was included in the "very good" category. In motivating students to learn mathematics, interactive learning multimedia can be applied to elementary school students in grade 4.AbstrakMultimedia interaktif adalah teknologi yang memediasi pengembangan kegiatan pembelajaran agar lebih menarik dan menyenangkan sehingga mampu memotivasi siswa dalam belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan produk multimedia pembelajaran interaktif dalam memotivasi siswa kelas IV sekolah dasar untuk belajar matematika. Metode penelitian menggunakan konsep model ADDIE untuk mengembangkan produk dengan lima tahap, 1) menganalisis; 2) desain; 3) berkembang; 4) mengimplementasikan; dan 5) mengevaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan multimedia pembelajaran interaktif layak digunakan untuk memotivasi siswa kelas 4 dalam belajar matematika. Hasil validasi oleh ahli materi menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan mencapai skor 43 sehingga masuk dalam kategori “sangat baik”, sedangkan hasil validasi oleh ahli media menunjukkan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan mencapai skor 59 sehingga masuk dalam kategori "sangat baik". Tanggapan guru terkait dengan kepraktisan penggunaan produk mencapai skor 113 sehingga masuk dalam kategori “sangat baik”, sedangkan respons siswa terkait dengan kepraktisan penggunaan produk mencapai skor 83 sehingga masuk dalam kategori “sangat baik”. Dalam memotivasi siswa untuk belajar matematika, multimedia pembelajaran interaktif dapat diterapkan untuk siswa sekolah dasar di kelas 4.

The current study aimed to explore the relationship between the well prepared school environment and the quality of schools activities that are directed to students' benefits. This study follows the mixed methods design that combines both quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis. The research tools that are used in this study is a closed-ended e-survey for school activity leaders and interviews with 5 supervisors. The non-random pilot of this research consists of (23) school activity leaders from elementary, intermediate and secondary schools and (5) supervisors in Qatif zone. The research findings pointed out the real effective well-prepared school environment role on the good quality outcomes of school activities in Qatif Area, and that most schools lack the application of quality in school activities. This research will shed light on how effective is the well prepared school environment to enrich the kinds and the effectiveness of school activities according to the quality standards of the Ministry. This emphasizes the role of the Ministry of Education to exert more efforts to prepare schools with required facilities and equipment to facilitate the quality of school activities.
