Relevance. Our research was devoted to such a field of human activity as individual entrepreneurship. The experience of most countries shows that this activity has developed significantly in recent years. Research on individual entrepreneurship is relevant because it provides a justification for improving this type of activity. The purpose of the study is to evaluate indicators describing the level of individual entrepreneurship in the total number of women and men who are emerging and beginning entrepreneurs in different countries. Materials and methods. The calculations were based on empirical data provided in the Global Entrepreneurship Monitoring project for fifty-nine countries. Economic and mathematical modeling was based on the development of normal distribution density functions. Results. The study evaluated three indicators describing the gender dimensions of individual entrepreneurship in 59 countries. The average values and ranges of changes in the considered indicators were determined, which are typical for most countries. In addition, national economies were identified that are characterized by high and low values of each of the three indicators. The study showed that there is a gender gap in the values of indicators in most countries. It is proved that the share of women involved in individual entrepreneurship in most countries is higher than that of men. The presence of significant differences in the values of the three indicators under consideration by country is shown. The comparison of the values of indicators for Russia and foreign countries is carried out. Conclusion. The results obtained are of theoretical and practical significance for governments and entrepreneurs. The methodological approach to assessing gender differences in individual entrepreneurship presented in the article can be used in further research. The new knowledge gained is of interest and can be used in the educational process at universities.

The proposed article analyses storytelling as a method of forming the communicative competence of future educators. Storytelling is seen as a method of improving students’ communicative competence and as a means of digital visualization. However, the concept of communicative competence includes mastering the necessary set of not only speech knowledge but also skills in the communicative aspect of any professional activity, as well as the practical use of communication tools necessary for the formation of a socially active personality oriented in the modern world. We are currently using new techniques that will help future educators to form speech competence (phonetics, vocabulary, grammar) of preschool children through the introduction into the educational process of methods that allow: to speak, write and listen. This method allows to implement the educational process at the Pedagogical Institute of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University with extensive use of multimedia forms of teaching material on the example of the content module “Theatrical Art as a Component of Preschool Education”, integrated course “Polyart Education of Preschool Children” for students majoring in 013 “Primary Education”, specialization “Preschool Education”. Students learn to solve problems, reveal ideas, use a cloud of words, compose comics, intelligence maps, interactive books, cartoons, videos, collages. The tasks of storytelling are covered: to capture the attention of the reader or viewer; to inspire trust; to create associations; to stimulate the emotional sphere and evoke empathy; to memorize stories. The main elements of storytelling and the main software tools for creating digital visualization of storytelling are identified. The essence of the concept of “storytelling” as a method of formation of communicative competence is substantiated and analysed. The activities of the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies (ICR) in the practical training of future educators are revealed and a list of tools and programmes such as Closr, ZooBurst, Narrable, Storify, Metta, PowToon, Moovly, Wideo and GoAnimate, Chogger and ToonDoo, used in the work with students are presented.

The experience gained by the author during the approbation / implementation of «Author’s motivational linguistic and pedagogical technology of forming stable skills in creating of different types stories by older preschool children» in PEI (preschool educational institutions), allows to state the real reason for ineffective mastery of different types storytelling in general and monological speech in particular, which lies in the lack of creating a psychologically favorable climate for inclusion of the each child into educational process, that has an extremely negative impact on its effectiveness in mastering and appropriate use of different types storytelling in everyday communication. A separate problem for study and solution is the psycholinguistic component of stable skills formation in older preschool children for creating stories of all types in the implementation of the author’s motivational linguistic and pedagogical technology in general and acquisition by students of skills to perform internal speech operations with external speech sounding of thought in particular.

The article considers the place of ecological culture in the system of values еof sustainable development of society, in particular, in the training of teachers of labor education and technology, which, in turn, are able to implement environmental education of young students. It is noted that only the correlation of scientific achievements and practical skills contributes to the formation of healthy environmental thinking and consciousness, as well as leads to changes in individual behavior and the formation of environmentally responsible communities. The factors that determine the ecological orientation of the educational process are determined. Among them: rapid production growth, excessive consumption, large amounts of waste, etc. create a significant burden on the planet's ecosystem. Responsible consumption and minimizing the negative impact on the environment is a conceptual way out of the crisis in which humanity is heading. Among the local but significant steps in overcoming it is ecodesign, which is based on the formation of products from eco-materials and the use of eco-technologies that take into account all stages of the product life cycle – from creation to disposal. The main purpose of ecodesign is to preserve natural resources. When mastering the profession, future teachers of labor training and technology in the process of project activities (including ecodesign) are offered the introduction of “upcycling” technology. The history of the phenomenon, stages of its appearance and realization in everyday life are considered. Modern world and domestic brands of the fashion industry, which profess the philosophy of reuse, are presented. The demonstration of the algorithm of realization of the educational and creative project of processing of textile products gives weight to results of research. Stages of search of technologies, design and actual and technological with use of various techniques which to all improve skills of students on designing and technology of tailoring are offered are offered. Thus, the main goal of ecologically oriented learning is achieved – the synthesis of theoretical principles and practical skills that enable the formation of ecological thinking of the future teacher.Key words: ecotechnologies, ecodesign, ecological culture, project activity, textile materials.

According to Vigotskian conception, psychological development of children occurs within the frames of cultural activities. Each form of activity may be expressed as a kind of narration or personal emotional involvement experienced by a child in different periods of childhood. One of essential kinds such experience is playing activity, engaging collective participants in a global social situation: children and adults. Playing activity with variety of modes and types of games, different in diverse social and historical conditions, may provide interesting psychological opportunity to study content, structure and stages of same activity. Games may differ by a variety of parameters. In this study the authors are interested in presenting two kinds of expression of playing activity: organized games with external orientation introduce by adults. Such types of games imply communication and collaboration within groups of preschool children in preschool institutions. The article presents phases of introduction of playing activity, kinds of means of external orientation proposed by adults and examples of concrete games with procedure of implementation. The authors discuss qualitative achievements in psychological development of preschool children as a result of participation in playing activity. The authors conclude that essential methodological approach of historical and cultural conception of development should be used together with conception of psychological structures activity. Such an approach might be useful for qualitative understanding of meaningful development at preschool age.

The purpose and tasks of the work are to analyze the contemporary Ukrainian mass culture in terms of its value and humanistic components, as well as the importance of cultural studies and Ukrainian studies in educational disciplines for the formation of a holistic worldview of modern youth.Analysis of research and publications. Scientists repeatedly turned to the problems of the role of spirituality in the formation of society and its culture. This problem is highlighted in the publications by O. Losev, V. Lytvyn, D. Likhachev, S. Avierintsev, M. Zakovych, I. Stepanenko and E. Kostyshyn.Experts see the main negative impact of mass culture on the quality approach, which determines mass culture through the market, because mass culture, from our point of view, is everything that is sold and used in mass demand. One of the most interesting studies on this issue was the work by the representatives of Frankfurt School M. Horkheimer and T. Adorno «Dialectics of Enlightenment» (1947), devoted to a detailed analysis of mass culture. Propaganda at all socio-cultural levels in the form is similar in both totalitarian and democratic countries. It is connected, according to the authors, with the direction of European enlightenment. The tendency to unify people is a manifestation of the influence of mass culture, from cinema to pop. Mass culture is a phenomenon whose existence is associated with commerce (accumulation in any form – this is the main feature of education), in general, the fact that it exists in this form is related to the direction of the history of civilization.Modern mass culture, with its externally attractive and easily assimilated ideas and symbols, appealing to the trends of modern fashion, becomes a standard of prestigious consumption, does not require intense reflection, allows you to relax, distract, not teach, but entertains, preaches hedonism as the main spiritual value. And as a consequence, there are socio-cultural risks: an active rejection of other people, which leads to the formation of indifference; cruelty as a character trait; increase of violent and mercenary crime; increase in the number of alcohol and drug addicts; anti-patriotism; indifference to the values of the family and as a result of social orphanhood and prostitution. Conclusions, perspectives of research. Thus, we can conclude that modern Ukrainian education is predominantly formed by the values of mass culture. Namely, according to the «Dialectic» by Horkheimer and Adorno, «semi-enlightenment becomes an objective spirit» of our modern society. It is concluded that only high-quality education can create the opposite of the onset of mass culture and the destruction of spirituality in our society. It is proved that only by realizing the importance of cultivating disciplines in the educational process and the spiritual upbringing of the nation, through educational reforms, humanitarian knowledge will gradually return to student audiences.Formation of youth occurs under the influence of social environment, culture, education and self-education. The optimal combination of these factors determines both the process of socialization itself and how successful it will be. In this context, one can see the leading role of education and upbringing. It turns out that the main task of modern education is to spread its influence on the development of spiritual culture of the individual, which eventually becomes a solid foundation for the formation of the individual. Such a subject requires both philosophical and humanitarian approaches in further integrated interdisciplinary research, since the availability of such research will provide the theoretical foundation for truly modern educational and personal development.

In the presented study, the authors raise the question of the need to include in the educational process of a preschool institution to familiarize children with some philosophical categories. The educational system in which the child is included, starting from preschool childhood, provides him with the opportunity to gradually and continuously enter the knowledge of the world around him. It is in preschool childhood that the child is exposed to various relationships, values of culture and health, diverse patterns in the field of different knowledge. This contributes to a broader interaction of the preschooler with the world around him, which, in turn, ensures the assimilation not of disparate ideas about objects and phenomena, but their natural integration and interpenetration, which means understanding the integrity of the picture of the world. The authors prove the idea that the assimilation of philosophical categories by children contributes to the understanding of the structure of the surrounding world. The analysis of research is presented, proving that children's fiction in an understandable and accessible language, life examples and vivid images is able to explain to children the laws of the functioning of nature and society, as well as to reveal the world of human relations and feelings. Fiction surrounds the child from the first years of his life. It is she who contributes to the development of thinking and imagination, enriches the sensory world, provides role models and teaches you to find a way out in different situations. Philosophical categories such as "love and friendship", "beautiful and ugly", "good and evil" are represented in children's literature very widely, and the efficiency of mastering philosophical categories depends on the skill of an adult in conveying the content of a work, on correctly placed accents.

ABSTRACTObjective: Few studies have used a combination of objective and self-report measures to examine neuropsychological and behavioral functioning in parents of children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). This study examined attention and inhibitory control in the parents of preschool children who were rated as “at risk” for developing ADHD as compared with parents of controls. Methods:Preschool children (N=53) were divided into at risk for ADHD and control groups based on parent and teacher ratings of Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fourth Edition ADHD symptoms. One parent of each child was administered an identical pairs Continuous Performance Test (CPTIP), a Go/No-Go task, and the Brown Attention-Deficit Disorder Scale for Adults. Results: Parents of preschoolers at risk for ADHD showed a pattern of responding on measures of vigilance characterized by slower reaction times and increased commission errors as compared with parents of controls. There were no significant group differences on self-report measures on the Brown Attention-Deficit Disorder Scale for Adults. Conclusion: Parents of preschoolers at risk for ADHD appear to exhibit cognitive processing deficits that may not be evident using self-report measures. Further research is needed to more clearly identify the specific nature of these neuropsychological deficits and to determine whether they have a negative impact on their children.

Abstract αCaMKII, widely occurring in the central nervous system, plays a significant role in cognitive processes. It is well known that diabetes is a risk factor that may trigger brain atrophy, cognitive dysfunction and finally lead to memory loss. Antioxidants richly present in bilberry fruits are believed to have significant effects on diabetes-related brain dysfunctions mainly due to their abilities to modulate neurotransmitter release that lead to reduction of the negative impact of free radicals on cognitive processes. The aim of the present research was to immunohistochemically investigate the expression patterns of αCaMKII in hippocampal neurons from non-diabetic, diabetic and diabetic rats fed with an extract of bilberry fruit. The obtained results show that in comparison to the control group, in diabetic rats hippocampal neurons immunoreactive (ir) to αCaMKII were swollen and the lengths of the neuronal fibres were reduced. Further study shows that in diabetic rats fed with bilberry fruit, αCaMKII-positive nerve fibres were significantly longer when compared to the groups of diabetic and control rats. Additionally, we observed statistically significant changes in the average larger diameter of αCaMKII-ir hippocampal neurons between groups of diabetic rats (with vs. without supplement of bilberry fruit). The results of the present work suggest that antioxidants present in bilberry fruits influence the morphology of and possibly exhibit beneficial and neuroprotective effects on hippocampal neurons during diabetes. It is likely that changes in the appearance of αCaMKII-expressed hippocampal neurons may reflect the diabetes-evoked rise in Ca2+ level in the cerebral nerve terminals. The present research extends our knowledge of preventive mechanisms for cognitive dysfunctions occurring in the brain during diabetes.
