This study of the management of Islamic character education is the basis for developing the value of empathy for students of the Faculty of Science of Islamic Education and Teacher Training, Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University  Yogyakarta. Students must get education not only scientifically through Islamic character to develop their empathy values. This noble personality needs to be possessed by students. This is to create a comfortable, harmonious, pleasant atmosphere of life both when students are in the campus environment and off campus. This study uses a qualitative research model, to analyze the character of student empathy through Islamic education management studies based on questionnaires, observation, documentation, and interviews, and inductive analysis. The results of the Islamic character education management study show that students of the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of the State Islamic University of Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta have a fairly good empathy character, which is assessed based on seven indicators of empathy. The most dominant empathy attitude of the student (83%) is the attitude of appreciation of other people who have done something correctly and the smallest (69%) done by the student is perception of others.

<p><span>This study aims to determine the development of learning evaluation in Islamic Education Management Study Program at STAI Darunnajah Bogor. With the research and development research method with the ADDIE research model. Based on the results of research and development that the researchers did that students gave 84% response very effective and efficient, 14% effective and efficient, and 4% less effective and efficient. Then 64% strongly agree, 34% agree and 2% quite agree. Thus, the development of Google Form is worthy of being used as an effective and efficient learning evaluation media for students of Islamic education management study programs at STAI Darunnajah Bogor.<br /><strong></strong></span></p><p><span><strong>Abstrak</strong><br /></span></p><p><span>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan evaluasi pembelajaran pada Prodi Manajemen Pendidikan Islam di STAI Darunnajah Bogor. Dengan metode penelitian pengembangan R&amp;D (research and development) dengan model penelitian ADDIE. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pengembangan yang peneliti lakukan bahwa mahasiswa memberikan respon 84% sangat efektif dan efisien, 14% efektif dan efisien, dan 4% kurang efektif dan efisien. Kemudian 64% sangat setuju, 34% setuju dan 2% cukup setuju. Dengan demikian bahwa pengembangan Google Form layak digunakan sebagai media evaluasi pembelajaran yang efektif dan efisien mahasiswa prodi manajemen pendidikan Islam di STAI Darunnajah Bogor.<br /></span></p>

In this paper, we will review the phenomena that are present in this nation: this phenomenon is none other than the existence of a movement that is able to hegemony the community for love for the homeland carried out by former HTI residents, the method used in the research is descriptive qualitative research about what happens in everyday life, either in social media and phenomena that exist in society. As for the form of Reidology with the character education approach, the character education in question combines the concept of Islamic education in Islamic schools and education in state defense whose output gives birth to the nation's children, especially former HTI residents to return to love the Republic of Indonesia. Why is this important to do, so that there are no longer Indonesian citizens who are in crisis of nationalism and play an active role in filling this independence from a development perspective in their own way.

Soviet virtue education had a relevant place in the discourse of the founders of communism and in the Communist Party’s documents. Virtue education played a central role in the construction of the future Soviet society and the raising of the New Soviet Man, a conscious communist, productive worker and soldier. This paper addresses two research questions: how was character and virtue education conceptualized, legitimized and implemented in Soviet Latvia? What elements of the Soviet approach to character education facilitated the consolidation of totalitarianism in Latvia?This research is based on written academic sources published in Soviet Latvia about virtue education and intended to school teachers: two teaching manuals for teacher training (Jesipovs & Gončarovs, 1948; Iļjina, 1971), and three collections scientific papers written by the leading educational academics of the Soviet Latvia published by the Latvian State University in 1962, 1964 and 1967 within the series “Questions about Upbringing in the Soviet school”.The findings highlight the understanding of virtue education during this period, and how it was ideologically, socially and pedagogically legitimized in the academic discourse and pedagogical literature addressed to school teachers.

This paper discusses the concept of management of character education in MTs Raudhatul Islamiyah Kemiri, the concept in question is the pattern of character growth of students with various supporting elements such as madrasa activities, rules or regulations, and content of Islamic education lessons that are applied in MTs Raudhatul Islamiyah Kemiri. In addition to these supporting elements, in order to grow the character of morality also has several strategies in supporting the achievement of character education management concepts such as: exemplary, learning, empowerment and acculturation, retention, and assessment. At this time Character becomes important for human life, especially for the next generation of nation. Therefore character education becomes important in school. However, the achievement of character values must be applied with good management. Character education management is a planned effort to make learners recognize, care and internalize the values so that learners are able to grow its character that consists of the process of planning, organizing, implementation and supervision.

<p class="ABSTRACT">This research aims to analyse the perception of students of Islamic Education Management Study Program at Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Islamic State University (IAIN) Sultan Amai Gorontalo about the implementation of democratic and humanist learning model. The sample used in the research was 98 respondents. The data analysis technique used was descriptive statistic by using Weighted Means Score (WMS) formula. The research result about student perception showed that lecturers at Islamic Education Management Study Program had already been applied democratic and humanist learning model perfectly in the interactive learning condition. ABSTRACT The concept of humanistic education is education that has principles to humanize humans such as education that explores, respects, serves, and helps students develop their potential with the aim of making students a generation that is intelligent, religious and has good character. Education has many obstacles and very complex problems. Various factors including the development of science and technology have led to changes in the behavior of adolescents, especially high school students, who commit crimes such as immoral crimes and so on. This moral degradation causes PAI teachers to try to educate students not to be carried away by the current of modernization which has a negative impact by instilling religious values. However, in reality, many people think that PAI is not important. A different phenomenon occurs in one high school in Lumajang City, namely SMAN 1 Lumajang. Where students really like PAI lessons because learning PAI at school is carried out with a humanistic approach. This journal discusses the implementation of the humanistic approach in Islamic Education lessons and also the constraints and reasons for using humanistic theory in Islamic Education learning. The research method used is qualitative research methods. Keywords: Approach, Humanistic, Pendidikan Agama Islam ABSTRAK Konsep pendidikan humanistik adalah pendidikan yang memiliki prinsip untuk memanusiakan manusia seperti pendidikan yang menggali, menghargai, melayani, dan membantu siswa mengembangkan potensi yang dimiliki dengan tujuan agar siswa menjadi generasi yang cerdas, religius dan berakhlakul karimah. Pendidikan banyak mengalami kendala dan permasalahan yang amat komplek. Berbagai faktor termasuk perkembangan IPTEK menyebabkan perubahan tingkah laku remaja khususnya siswa/siswi SMA banyak melakukan tindak kriminalitas seperti kejahatan asusila dan sebagainya. Degradasi moral inilah yang menyebabkan guru PAI berusaha untuk mendidik murid agar tidak terbawa dengan arus modernisasi yang membawa dampak negatif dengan menanamkan nilai-nilai keagamaan. Namun pada kenyataannya banyak yang menganggap pelajaran PAI itu tidak penting. Fenomena berbeda terjadi pada salah satu SMA di Lumajang yaitu SMA Negeri 1 Lumajang. Dimana para siswa sangat menyukai pelajaran PAI karena pembelajaran PAI disekolah tersebut dilakukan dengan pendekatan humanistik. Jurnal ini membahas mengenai implementasi pendekatan humanistik pada pelajaran PAI dan juga kendala serta alasan menggunakan teori humanistik dalam pembelajaran PAI. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Kata Kunci : Pendekatan, Humanistik, Pendidikan Agama Islam

This study aims to describe the values of character education in the film Kung Fu Panda and its relevance with Islamic education. This research is qualitative research using descriptive method. The data is taken from the character's dialogue in particular intercultural dialogue involving the main characters. That data is then described and analysed. This research focuses on the educational value of the character in the film.. This research found several values character education that is religious, honest, discipline, hard work, creative, democratic, curiosity, love of the motherland, social care, and responsibility. Values that are relevant to the purpose of the concept of Islamic religious education in shaping attitudes, terpuju (mahmudah morals).

This study aims to determine the effect of promotion on the decision of students to choose the Islamic Education Management Study Program of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teachers of the Darussalam Islamic Institute of Academic Year 2019/2020. As one of the factors influencing students' decision to choose a study program, promotion is one of the most important variables in the marketing mix undertaken by a company or educational institution. This research is a quantitative research. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire or questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. To find out whether there is a significant influence between promotion of student decisions in choosing the Islamic Education Management Study Program at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teaching Institute of Islamic Religion in the Academic Year 2019/2020 using Pearson's product moment formula. After analyzing the data collected, it was found that (1) the results of the questionnaire were about promotion with 53 respondents classified as very good with the percentage of 88.60% (2) the results of the questionnaire about the student's decision were classified as very good with a percentage of 88.86%. (3) Effect of Promotion on Students' Decisions to Choose Islamic Education Management Study Program of the Tarbiyah and Teaching Faculty of Islamic Republic of Darussalam Academic Year 2019/2020 shows an effect of 90.63%, with the results of t count then 0.935 is between 0.80 - 1,000 Very strong.

Rusaknya moral bangsa dapat diamati dari memudarnya perilaku peserta didik yang dicermati dari cara berperilaku, bertutur kata yang kurang sopan dan tidak beretika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penanganan dekadensi moral melalui penerapan pendidikan karakter cinta damai dan nasionalisme di SD Muhammadiyah Karangtengah. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah kepala sekolah, guru kelas, guru PJOK, guru PAI, serta peserta didik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik pengamatan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis mengindikasikan bahwa dalam mengurangi kemrosotan moral peserta didik di usia sekolah dasar, pihak sekolah menanamkan pendidikan karakter cinta damai dan nasionalisme melalui pembiasaan, integrasi dalam pembelajaran, serta melalui budaya sekolah. Dalam penerapan pendidikan karakter tidak hanya usaha dari pihak sekolah saja, namun juga diperlukan adanya kerjasama antar semua elemen, mulai dari elemen pendidikan, keluarga, maupun lingkungan masyarakat. Hal itu merupakan langkah-langkah dalam mengurangi bahkan mencegah perilaku-perilaku kemrosotan moral yang terjadi di usia sekolah dasar. Handling Moral Decadence Through the Application of Peace Love Characters and NationalismThe damage to the nation's morals can be observed from the waning behavior of students who are observed from how to behave, speak impolite and unethical words. This study aims to describe the handling of moral decadence through the application of peace-loving character education and nationalism in Muhammadiyah Elementary School, Karangtengah. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were school principals, classroom teachers, PJOK teachers, Islamic education teachers, and students. The data was collected by means of observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of the analysis indicate that in reducing the moral decline in elementary school age, schools instill peace-loving character education and nationalism through habituation, integration in learning, and through school culture. In implementing character education, it is not only an effort from the school, but also requires cooperation between all elements, starting from the elements of education, family, and the community. This is a step in reducing and even preventing moral degeneration behavior that occurs at elementary school age.

Universities as autonomous educational institutions in the administration of education, made the development of this course will be submitted to the respective colleges. So that the implementation of the model of Islamic education among college one with the other universities are no exception can be different between the UB and the State University of Malang. Therefore in this study are the focus of research is; 1) how the Islamic education curriculum development at the UB and the State University of Malang; 2) how the learning system of Islamic education at the UB and the State University of Malang. This study uses qualitative approach, case study type with multi-site design, data analysis techniques in this study through the stages of data analysis of individual cases with the steps of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and then draw a conclusion, after analysis of individual case data and then do the data analysis cross-site. These results indicate that the model of development of Islamic Religious Education conducted at UB and the State University of Malang is 1) the development of Islamic education curriculum using a competency-based curriculum, developed by learned center theme-based curriculum approach to social reconstruction. 2) learning system of Islamic education at both universities held in the classical cross-faculty and monitoring the deepening of learning outside the classroom with student active learning approach and contextual learning which leads to inquiry learning strategy. Generally that model of Islamic religious education at public universities can be categorized to a central model isolated entities / mechanisms and a decentralized model with interconnected entities / systemic organism.
