Abstract:Learning outside the classroom is carried out by teachers to improve students’ competences in a particular subject. In this study, learning outside the classroom is conducted to complete the assignment of Indonesian subjects with the topic "Students' Storytelling Ability". This study aims to determine whether learning outside the classroom is effective in improving students' storytelling ability. The method used in this research is expost-facto by using an instrument for assessing students' storytelling ability. The study was conducted in Elementary School Cluster 2 Iwal in the 5th grade of 24 students. The results showed an increase in the average score of students in terms of storytelling ability after the learning outside the classroom compared to the existing learning (classroom learning) before outside learning activities were carried out.Abstrak:Pembelajaran luar kelas dilakukan guru kelas untuk meningkatkan kompetensi siswa pada suatu mata pelajaran tertentu. Pembelajaran luar kelas pada penelitian ini untuk melengkapi tugas mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dengan materi “Kemampuan Bercerita Siswa”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah pembelajaran di luar kelas efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan bercerita siswa. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah expost-facto dengan menggunakan instrumen penilaian kemampuan bercerita siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD 2 Iwul kelas 5 yang terdiri dari 24 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi kenaikan nilai rata-rata siswa dalam hal kemampuan bercerita pada pembelajaran luar kelas dibandingkan pada pembelajaran konvensional (pembelajaran dalam kelas) sebelum kegiatan  pembelajaran luar kelas dilakukan.

[Bahasa]: Salah satu metode pembelajaran yang cocok digunakan untuk operasi perkalian adalah metode jarimatika. Metode ini diberikan kepada siswa SD di Kefamenanu mengingat berdasarkan data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), Kefamenanu telah memiliki empat perguruan tinggi namun masih banyak siswa yang belum memiliki kemampuan berhitung cepat. Kelebihan metode jarimatika adalah tidak memerlukan alat peraga dan hafalan karena perhitungan dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan jari tangan sehingga diharapkan operasi hitung perkalian dapat lebih mudah dipahami, menyenangkan, dan tidak membebani memori otak siswa. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berhitung siswa sekolah dasar. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SDN Neonbat Kefamenanu, Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT) dengan subyek pengabdian seluruh siswa kelas V yang berjumlah 60 orang. Pengabdian dilaksanakan dalam bentuk workshop yang dibagi menjadi 2 hari. Pelaksanaan hari pertama fokus pada review kemampuan dasar siswa yang meliputi perkalian 1-5 dan dilanjutkan dengan perkenalan teknik berhitung cepat dengan jarimatika untuk perkalian 6-10 dan 11-15. Pengabdian dilanjutkan pada hari kedua yaitu review materi pada hari sebelumnya dan penyampaian teknik berhitung cepat untuk kelompok 16-20 yang diakhiri dengan pemberian latihan. Kegiatan pengabdian tidak hanya berhenti pada workshop tetapi dilanjutkan dengan pendampingan terhadap siswa yang dipilih sebanyak 20 orang. Kegiatan pendampingan ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap hasil belajar yang diperoleh siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari peningkatan nilai rata-rata pada pre-testsebesar 55,84 dan pada post test sebesar 75. Kata Kunci: berhitung cepat; metode jarimatika; perkalian; sekolah dasar [English]: One of the appropriate methods to learn multiplication is Jarimatika. It was given to elementary school students in Kefamenanu which, based on data from statistical central agency (BPS), has four colleges but there are still many students who do not have rapid counting skills. The advantage of this method is not requiring learning tools and memorization because calculations are done by utilizing the fingers so that the expected counting operation of multiplication can be more easily understood, enjoyable, and does not overload students’ memory. The purpose of this community service program was to improve the counting skills of elementary school students. It was held at SDN Neonbat Kefamenanu, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) involving 60 5th-grade students. The program was carried out in two-day workshop. The first day focused on the review of students ' basic ability which includes multiplication 1-5 and continued with the introduction of quick counting techniques with Jarimatika for multiplication 6-10 and 11-15. The second day was to review the previous day and introduce the rapid counting technique for multiplication 16-20. This program did not only end with the workshop but also continued with the assistance of 20 selected students. This assistance provided a positive impact on the results students get which can be seen from the increasing average score: 55,84 in the pre-test then increased to 75 in the post-test. <p class="Abstract"><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong><em>.</em><em> </em><em>The purpose of research design was to improve the understanding about concepts the struggle to defend Indonesia's independence by applying Group Invetigation models. Two cycles was used in this research design amount teacher and 5th grade of primary school of SD N Pulisen Boyolali conduct of 35 students as the subject research. The data collecting techniques were test, observation, interview, and documentation. And the analyze data used interactive technique. The average score of class before action (pre-cycle) is 31, in cycle 1 the average score increase become improves 64,8, and in cycle 2 increase 75,1. The conclusion was drawn that applying GI model can work up the understanding about concepts the struggle to defend Indonesia's independence in 5th grade of primary school of SD N Pulisen Boyolali 2018/2019.</em><strong><em></em></strong></p><strong><em>Keywords:</em></strong><em> Group Investigation, understanding about concepts, the struggle to defend Indonesia's independence, Elementary School.</em>

Presentation of historical material in social studies learning in elementary schools, in general, still uses media in the form of textbooks. Not many media are available so learning activities become menotonous and unattractive. The presence of media is very important in the learning process. This study aims to determine the feasibility of comic-based learning media media on historical concepts in social studies in grade V elementary school. This research is a development research in 4 stages of implementation, namely research and information gathering, planning, developing the initial form of the product, and validating. The results of the evaluation of comic media are shown by an average score, namely material expert I at 88% with a very decent category, material expert II at 90.33% with a very decent category, media expert at 95% with a very decent category. Based on the results of expert tests, educators and limited trials, comic media in social studies subjects in elementary schools are in the very feasible category and can be used as learning media.

The purpose of this research was to know the improvement of students’ learning outcomes of Indonesian subject in class IIB SD Undiksha Laboratory academic year 2017/2018 after applying model picture and picture assisted with audio visual media. The present research was a classroom action research held in 2 cycles. Every cycle consisted of the planning stages, the implementation, observation and evaluation and reflection. Methods used in collecting the data in this research was administering observation and test. In the first cycle, the average percentage of learning outcomes obtained was 82.67% and the average score of learning activities was 73.50 in which categorized as active, and teacher’s activity was categorized good with a score of 73.50. In second cycle data of learning result and activity of student and teacher had increased with 90,11% of average percentage of learning result and categorized very high, and students’ activity average score was 81,00 in which categorized active, teacher’s activity was categorized good with score equal to 81.00. Thus, it could be concluded that the application of picture and picture model assisted with audio-visual media could improve the students’ learning outcomes of Indonesian subject in class IIB SD Undiksha Laboratory academic year 2017/2018.

Speaking skill is one of the four language skills that are important to master. Because speaking skills are an important element in communicating, so that students can convey messages and ideas well. The purpose of this study is [1] to determine the speaking skills of 5th grade students of SDN 01 TARANTANG [2] To assist in making speaking skills teaching materials based on the results of the analysis of 5th grade students' speaking skills of SDN 01 TARANTANG. The research approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative research with analytical methods. With data collection techniques through oral tests and literature studies. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out by researchers on 5th grade elementary school students, it can be seen that the average score of students' scores is 60 with the provision that 3 students have the highest scores such as KPA, SO, WSP by getting an overall score of 91, then for the lowest score, namely PI, TR, WFR with an overall score of 33, the reason is that they did not take the exam at all and did not answer the questions given by the researcher.

In learning activities, there is often a learning saturation that arises from students. This can be triggered by various things. Therefore, as a researcher, he took the initiative to apply modeling in learning, especially in language learning. Thus, the purpose of this research is the application of an explicit type of cooperative learning model instructions chronological technique of events in writing narratives from interview texts. This research is applied or piloted to students consisting of several schools in Indonesia as well as the object of research. The research instrument is the researcher himself as the key/main instrument. In addition, the researcher was also assisted by several other teams of research students and teachers from local schools. Based on the results of research through testing the model, it is categorized that there is a significant increase in learning. It can be seen that the average score of students reaches 85% of the maximum threshold of 90%. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the model is considered successful and can be applied in various schools in the world.

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in student learning activities by using the question and answer method through talaran techniques carried out on grade 6 students of Sukaharja 1 Elementary School, Telukjambe Timur District, Karawang Regency. The research method used is classroom action with observational research techniques, interviews, and tests and documentation. The researcher evaluates the learning process according to the success indicators that have been determined according to the competency standards and basic competencies and compares them with the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM), which is 65. The results of the analysis in the first cycle at the fourth meeting show that the value of students is still below the KKM as many as three participants students, with the lowest score of 51, and the class average was 86.16. In the second cycle, it shows an increase in the value of students at the fourth meeting with the lowest score of 70, and none of the students get a score below the KKM. The class average score has increased to 88.25. The learning activities of students had increased, which occurred in the first cycle obtaining an average of 58.10% to 76.51%. Meanwhile, the interviews conducted in the first cycle compared to the second cycle have different activities. In the first cycle, students still acted indifferently when the teacher explained and asked questions. In the second cycle, all students can respond well. The results showed that the application of the learning method through the memorization technique could increase the activity of grade 6 students in participating in learning at the Sukaharja 1 Elementary School, Telukjambe Timur District, Karawang Regency.

5 Grade students of Public Elementary School 4 Sepanjang Gondanglegi Malang in the 2016/2017 Academic Year need learning activities by utilizing the environment as a source of learning. One of the activities that can be done is in the form of walking exploration followed by play and adventure. Considering this, then on this occasion the researchers tried to apply the inquiry method through exploration activities as an effort to improve learning outcomes Physical, Sports and Health Education. Based on the results of observations that have been made, it can be seen that the skills of 5 Grade students of Public Elementary School 4 Sepanjang have increased after applying the inquiry method through exploration activities, this is indicated by the researcher’s assessment of student activity in seeking information, the pleasure shown by students, and team/group collaboration. If at first the average results of the assessment in Cycle I amounted to 62.4, then the implementation of Cycle II achieved an average score of 77.9. In addition, with the implementation of the Inquiry method through exploration activities around the school in Physical Education, Sports and Health subjects in 5 Grade students of Public Elementary School 4 Sepanjang, it can be seen that there is a significant increase in student learning achievement, this is as shown in the value of student evaluation. If in Cycle I the number of evaluation values ​​achieved is still equal to 1770 with a percentage of learning completeness of 39.29%, then in Cycle II it has improved considerably, until it reaches an evaluation value of 2450 with a percentage of learning completeness of 100.00%

Penyuluhan Bahasa Indonesia is an annual educational event conducted by Balai Bahasa Kalimantan Tengah. Elementary school teachers all over Kalimantan Tengah usually be the main target since they hardly learn the Indonesian language academically and specifically. Socializing the national language of Indonesia, spreadingnewest issues of the language and improving speakers ability are the main idea. Language and speakers cultivation is its major aim. The effectivity of such event has not been evaluated yet. Based on this fact the writer wants to figure out the effectivity of Penyuluhan Bahasa Indonesia. The problems discussed in this writing will be how are the participants’ scores of pre-test and post-test. This scores then analyzed to identify whether Penyuluhan Bahasa Indonesia is truly effective. sample of this writing are 71 elementary schools teachers from two regions, namely Pangkalan Bun and Kuala Kapuas. The data are then analyzed statistically. Based on the findings, the average scores of those two sessions test were not satisfied yet. Meanwhile, the event of Penyuluhan Bahasa Indonesia influences the scores significantly and improves teachers ability. In general, based on scores, Pangkalan Bun as a more dynamic region considered to be more superior in average score than Kuala Kapuas.

Tulisan ini bertujuan agar siswa Sekolah Dasar dapat menulis surat yang baik dan benar sesuai dengan ketentuan bentuk surat dan kaidah bahasa. Peningkatan pembelajaran menulis surat resmi dapat ditanggulangi guru kelas dengan cara: (1) mengemas materi bahasa Indonesia dalam Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran /kegiatan inti/langkah-langkah pembelajaran menulis surat resmi yang sesuai dengan kompetensi dasar Kurikulum 2013, dan (2) mengaplikasikan metode pemodelan dalam pembelajaran menulis surat resmi tentang peristiwa bencana alam pada peserta didik kelas 5 Sekolah Dasar. This paper aims that elementary school students can write a good and correct letter in accordance with the provisions of letter forms and rules of language. Improving learning in writing an official letter can be overcome by teachers by means of: (1) packing the Bahasa Indonesian material in the lesson plan/core activities/steps of learning to write an official letter that corresponds to the basic competence in 2013 curriculum, and (2) applying modeling methods in learning to write an official letter of natural disasters on 5th grade elementary school students.
