ABSTRAKTantangan dalam pemberian ASI salah satunya dihadapi oleh para ibu bekerja yang merasa kesulitan untuk memberikan ASI maupun memerah ASI pada waktu kerja, baik dikarenakan tidak adanya fasilitas, cuti melahirkan yang tidak fleksibel sampai tidak diberikannya kesempatan menyusui. Pada tahun 2013 telah diterbitkan Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan (Permenkes) nomor 15 tahun 2013 tentang tata acara penyediaan fasilitas khusus menyusui atau memerah air susu ibu seperti ruang laktasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan dan persepsi Wanita Usia Subur (WUS) yang bekerja terhadap ruang laktasi di instansi pemerintah wilayah Kota Denpasar tahun 2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif dengan rancangan cross-sectional. Sampel penelitian adalah 79 WUS yang bekerja. Pemilihan tempat kerja yaitu instansi pemerintah yang memiliki ruang laktasi di Wilayah Kota Denpasar dan pemilihan sampel secara stratified proportional random sampling. Pengumpulan data pengetahuan dan persepsi dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan data dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian didapatkan 72,2% WUS memiliki pengetahuan baik, 27,8% memiliki pengetahuan cukup, dan tidak ada yang memiliki pengetahuan kurang. Untuk persepsi terhadap ruang laktasi didapatkan 64,6% WUS memiliki persepsi baik dan 35,4% memiliki persepsi kurang baik. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebagian besar WUS memiliki tingkat pengetahuan baik serta lebih dari setengah memiliki persepsi yang baik terhadap ruang laktasi. Disarankan agar menyediakan ruang laktasi sesuai dengan ketentuan serta mendukung ruang laktasi tersebut dengan meningkatkan peran tenaga kesehatan dan atasan tempat bekerja agar lebih mensosialisasikan pemanfaatan ruang laktasi.Kata Kunci: awareness, perception, lactation room, reproductive age women ABSTRACTWorking mothers faces challenges to provide exclusive breastfeedings due to limited facility to breastfed or to express breast milk within working hours, inflexible maternity leave and no breastfeeding time within working hours. In 2013, the Ministry of Health (MoH) adopted MoH regulation (Permenkes) No 15/2013 about standard procedure to provide breastfeeding or expressing breast milk facility, such those called as “ruang laktasi”/lactation room. This study aims to explore awareness and perception of reproductive age working women (WUS) on lactation room at governments institution in City of Denpasar in 2017. This was a descriptive quantitative study with cross-sectional design. Study sample were 79 WUS. Working places included on the study were those that have lactation room and samples were selected by stratified random sampling. Data on awareness and perception were collected using questionnaire and analysed with descriptive analysis. From the study, 72.2% WUS have good awareness, 27.8% have moderate awareness and none with low awareness. For the perception on lactation room, 64.6% WUS have good perception and 35.4% have lower perception on lactation room. It can be concluded that the majority of working women have good awareness, and more than half have good perception on lactation room. It is recommended to provide lactation room and to support improvement of lactation room by improving role of health workers and supervisors at work places to extend socialization of the lactation room.Keywords: pengetahuan, persepsi, ruang laktasi, WUS

The rampant marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes products, especially infant formula in various mass media has caused many mothers to stop providing breast milk for their babies. One of the media used to market Breastmilk Substitutes products is medical journals. Marketing of infant formula and other Breastmilk Substitutes products is regulated by regulations that are still applicable until now. The purpose of this study was to determine how the profile of infant formula advertisements as Breastmilk Substitutes product in medical journals, as well as the level of compliance with the applicable regulations. In addition, researcher also wanted to know about the level of knowledge of health workers regarding the regulations governing the marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes products. This study used a descriptive design with a cross-sectional approach and included 24 advertisements for infant formula and 27 health workers. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling and data collection was carried out online from December 2020 to January 2021. The instruments used were a checklist contains the suitability of the infant formula advertisement with the applicable regulations governing it and also a questionnaire. 15 out of 24 advertisements of infant formula (62.50%) were categorized at the moderate level of conformity, which fulfilled 6 to 8 predetermined criteria. There were 21 out of 27 health workers (77.78%) who had a sufficient level of knowledge, which fulfilled 2 to 5 of the total 8 questions on the questionnaire. Overall, the conformity level of the infant formula advertisements with the Breastmilk Substitutes regulations is moderate; and the health workers’ knowledge about the Breastmilk Substitutes regulations is sufficient.Maraknya pemasaran produk Pengganti ASI, khususnya susu formula di berbagai media massa menyebabkan banyak ibu yang tidak lagi memberi ASI kepada bayinya. Salah satu media yang digunakan untuk memasarkan produk Pengganti ASI adalah majalah kedokteran. Pemasaran susu formula beserta produk Pengganti ASI lainnya diatur dalam peraturan-peraturan yang masih berlaku sampai saat ini. Tujuan daripada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana profil iklan susu formula sebagai produk Pengganti ASI pada majalah kedokteran, serta tingkat kesesuaiannya dengan ketentuan yang mengatur mengenai pemasaran produk Pengganti ASI. Selain itu peneliti juga ingin mengetahui mengenai tingkat pengetahuan tenaga kesehatan mengenai peraturan yang mengatur tentang pemasaran Pengganti ASI. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional dan mengikutsertakan 24 iklan susu formula bayi serta 27 tenaga kesehatan. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling dan seluruh pengambilan data dilakukan secara daring pada bulan Desember 2020 sampai Januari 2021. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa daftar tilik kesesuaian iklan susu formula bayi dengan peraturan yang berlaku beserta kuesioner. Sebanyak 15 dari 24 iklan susu formula bayi (62,5%) dikategorikan pada tingkat kesesuaian sedang, dimana memenuhi 6 hingga 8 kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Terdapat 21 dari 27 orang tenaga kesehatan (77,78%) memiliki tingkat pengetahuan cukup, dimana memenuhi 2 hingga 5 dari total 8 pertanyaan pada kuesioner. Secara keseluruhan, tingkat kesesuaian iklan susu formula bayi dengan ketentuan yang mengatur mengenai pemasarannya adalah sedang; dan tingkat pengetahuan tenaga kesehatan mengenai peraturan pemasaran produk Pengganti ASI adalah cukup.

Stunting and Maternal Factors. Stunting is still one of the unresolved priority issues. Maternal factors greatly influence the incidence of stunting in children. This study explains the relationship between stunting and maternal factors, namely education, knowledge of nutrition, parenting patterns, and mother's motivation. This qualitative research is a type of correlational analytic research with the cross-sectional method. The subjects of this study were stunting mothers and toddlers at Dungkek Health Center (n=40), obtained using simple random sampling. Data collection using questionnaires and met lines. Data were analyzed using a contingency correlation test. The results showed a relationship between stunting in children with education, nutritional knowledge, and self-efficacy (p= 0.001; p= 0.033; p= 0.01). Edit was not related to parenting (p = 0.866). Health workers need to pay attention to maternal factors as the target of promotive and preventive activities in stunting cases because maternal factors make an important contribution in the first 1000 days of life, preventing stunting.

Antenatal care is one of the most effective measures to reduce maternal mortality in Lower Middle-income Countries. The study aims to assess the utilization of antenatal care and related factors by breastfeeding mothers in Chitwan district of Nepal. A cross-sectional study was carried out in Bharatpur municipality in April 2020, among all women of the reproductive age group (15-49) who have had a birth child in the last 12 months before the survey date. A census sampling technique was used to select respondents. The vaccination period was two weeks. All the mothers who came to the vaccine center to vaccinate their children were the respondents of this study. The data were collected by using an interview schedule. The collected data were managed using SPSS Version 20. The study found that 84.31 percent of respondents attended more than four antenatal care utilization. The educational level of the respondents and the occupation of their partners were linked to the use of antenatal care. The number of pregnancies, the number of live births, the place of delivery, and the educational level and occupations of the birth attendees were also significantly linked to the use of antenatal care. Community mobilization and intensive use of community health workers are essential factors to improve the use of antenatal care.

ABSTRACT Kelompok usia reproduksi terbagi dalam tiga fase yaitufase menunda kehamilan (<20 tahun), fase menjarangkan kehamilan (20-30 tahun) dan fase mengakhiri kehamilan (>30 tahun). Cara yang ditempuh yaitu dengan pemakaian kontrasepsi.baik  MKJPmaupunnon MKJP. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada atau tidak perbedaan pemilihan kontrasepsi MKJP dan non MKJP berdasarkan efek samping pada dua kelompok usia reproduksi. Penelitin ini menggunakan desain cross sectional, pengambilan data dengan kuesioner. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah akseptor KB baik MKJP maupun non MKJP pada bulan april sampai juni sebanyak 200 responden, dimana tekhnik pengambilan datanya dengan random sampling dan kuota sampling. Hasil penelitian kemudian diuji dengan mann-whitney test.Hasil penelitian dengan uji mann whitney test diperoleh p = 0.662 dengan kata lain p > α (0.05) yang berarti tidak ada perbedaan pemilihan MKJP dan non MKJP berdasarkan efek samping di Wilayah Kabupaten Semarang.      ABSTRACT Reproductive-age category can be divided into three groups which are the group of delayed interval pregnancy (less than 20 years old), the group of intervalcontrol pregnancy (20 to 30 years old), and the group of high risk pregnancy (more than 30 years old). An alternative to avoid high risk pregnancy is by using contraception tool namely long-term contraception (MKJP) and non long-term contraception (non MKJP).The purpose of this research is to analysedwhether there are differences in choosing MKJP and non –MKJP based on side effects in the two reproductive-age groups.This research was an explanatory research with cross-sectional design. The population were all women of contraception acceptors in Semarang Regency.The samples were 200 respondents, used simple random sampling and quota sampling. This research used quisionaire instrument and analyze used mann whitney test (α=0,05). Theresult showed thatP = 0,662 meaning P > α = 0.05 which means there is no difference in choosing MKJP and non-MKJP based on side effects in the two reproduction-age groups in Semarang regency.

Abstract Human Resources (HR) is the main and strategic factor for the achievement of the development of a nationStrong and highly competitive human resources in various aspects will support increased development, both in the economic, health and social and cultural fields. The performance of an organization will be determined by one of the main elements, namely the quality of human resources. Factors that can be used to improve employee performance, including job satisfaction and work motivation. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between jobs satisfaction and workforce motivation in the health sector in hospitals in Indonesia.The research method is a non-intervention study with a cross-sectional design, conducted by the National Institute of Health Research and Development, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia  through National Health Workforce Research (Risnakes)2017.The study sample was health workers working in 2,325 hospitals, namely General Hospitals (RSU) in the Government, Private Hospital, Military/Police General Hospital, Government Specific Hospital, Private Specific Hospital and Military/Police Specific Hospital. Determination of selected hospitals in each province is done by simple random sampling.  Data collection on job satisfaction and work motivation was obtained through filling out the 2014 happiness measurement survey questionnaires from the Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS)  by 30 health workers in selected hospitals . The variables studied were the characteristics of respondents (age, sex, education, employment status, length of work, health insurance), hospital characteristics (hospital status, hospital accreditation status, and type of hospital), job satisfaction and work motivation. Data were analyzed by univariate, bivariate, and logistic regression models.The results showed that respondents who worked for 10 years and below had a  t significant relationship with work motivation compared to those who worked more than 10 years, with a value of p <0.05 (p = 0.0001). There is a significant relationship between jobs satisfaction and work motivation on respondents, with a value of p <0.005 (p = 0.0001). The conclusion, that the job satisfaction of health workers is significantly related to work motivation.   Abstrak Sumber daya manusia (SDM) merupakan faktor utama dan strategis bagi tercapainya keberhasilan pembangunan suatu bangsa. SDM yang kuat dan berdaya saing tinggi dalam berbagai aspek akan mendukung peningkatan pembangunan, baik di bidang ekonomi, kesehatan maupun di bidang sosial dan budaya. Kinerja suatu organisasi akan ditentukan oleh salah satu unsur utama yaitu kualitas sumber daya manusia. Faktor-faktor yang dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawai, diantaranya kepuasan kerja dan motivasi kerja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui  adanya  hubungan antara kepuasan kerja dan motivasi kerja tenaga kerja di bidang kesehatan di rumah sakit di Indonesia. Metode penelitian merupakan penelitian non intervensi dengan desain cross sectional, yang dilaksanakan oleh Badan Litbang Kesehatan, Kementerian Kesehatan RI melalui Riset Ketenagaan di Bidang Kesehatan (Risnakes) 2017. Sampel penelitian adalah tenaga kesehatan yang bekerja di  2.325 rumah sakit (RS) yaitu di Rumah Sakit Umum (RSU) Pemerintah, RSU Swasta, RSU TNI/Polri, RS Khusus Pemerintah, RS Khusus Swasta, dan RS Khusus TNI/Polri. Penetapan rumah sakit terpilih di setiap provinsi dilakukan secara acak sederhana (simple random sampling). Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui pengisian kuesioner survei pengukuran tingkat kebahagiaan 2014 dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) oleh 30 orang tenaga kesehatan di RS terpilih. Variabel yang diteliti adalah karakteristik responden (umur, jenis kelamin, pendidikan, status kepegawaian, lama bekerja, jaminan kesehatan), karakteristik rumah sakit (status RS, status akreditasi RS, dan jenis RS), kepuasan kerja dan motivasi kerja. Data dianalisis secara univariat, bivariat, dan model regresi logistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa responden yang bekerja selama 10 tahun ke bawah ada hubungan yang signifikan dengan motivasi kerja dibandingkan yang bekerja lebih dari 10 tahun, dengan nilai p<0,05 (p= 0,0001). Adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara kepuasan kerja dengan motivasi kerja pada responden, dengan nilai p< 0,005 (p=0,0001). Kesimpulan, bahwa kepuasan kerja dari tenaga kesehatan berhubungan secara signifikan dengan motivasi kerja.

Background. It is estimated that more than 142 million married women in developing countries have an unmet need for family planning. This study is aimed at identifying factors associated with the unmet need of family planning among married women of reproductive age in Toke Kutaye district, Ethiopia in 2019. Methods. A community-based cross-sectional study was conducted in Toke Kutaye district from March 1–30, 2019. A systematic random sampling technique was used to select 494 reproductive-age women who were married during data collection. Data were collected using a pretested structured questionnaire. Bivariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were used to assess factors associated with the unmet need of family planning at 95% CI with a p value of ≤ 0.05. Result. The prevalence of unmet need for family planning in the Toke Kutaye district was 23.1% [95% CI (19.2-26.7)], with 15.2% for spacing and 7.9% for limiting. Women’s education [AOR, 3.64, 95% CI: 1.43-9.25], number of living children [AOR, 2.63, 95% CI: 1.37-5.05], husband disapproval of family planning [AOR, 3.68, 95% CI: 2.20-6.16], and discussion with healthcare providers on family planning [AOR, 0.20, 95% CI: 0.13-0.37] were significantly associated with unmet need for family planning. Conclusion. The prevalence of unmet need for family planning was high. Therefore, program managers, partners, and health workers should work to address the gaps in maternal education, the number of living children, partner disapproval of family planning, and discussion on family planning issues through enhancing female education, awareness on family planning, and male involvement in family planning services.

Abstract Background: Many studies show that working mothers are unable to exclusively breastfeed successfully. Expression and storage of breastmilk is a strategy that ensures continued breastmilk consumption in the event of temporary separation of an infant from the mother. The 2017 Kenyan Health Act mandates employers to provide lactation rooms with guidance for appropriate utilization.Methodology: The study objective was to assess knowledge attitude and practice of breastmilk expression and storage among working women with infants below six months of age in Public Well Baby Clinics. This was a cross sectional study among 395 working women attending two large public hospitals in Nairobi Kenya. A structured questionnaire with open and closed ended questions was used to establish the knowledge and practice while a Likert scale was used to explore attitudes of the mothers towards expression and storage of breast milk. Results: Only 161(41%) were expressing breast milk. Those with tertiary education and those working in the public sector had significantly higher odds of having satisfactory knowledge OR4.47(95%CI 2.01-11.07) and OR2.26(95%CI 1.33-3.85) respectively. Attaining tertiary education was significantly associated with a possibility of expressing and storing breastmilk OR3.6(95% CI 1.81-7.95). The workplace did not provide adequate equipment to facilitate breastmilk expression. Challenges experienced were breast pain and cumbersome nature of expressing milk.Conclusion: The study revealed knowledge gaps in expression and storage of breastmilk that need to be addressed to enable the mothers fully utilize the lactation rooms when they become available at the workplace.

Contraceptive method choice is a fundamental indicator of quality of care in a family planning program. Contraceptive choice is one component of quality in family planning and offering minimum of three modern methods of contraceptives is a critical indicator. One-third of developing countries have many skewed method mixes, which is a risky for discontinuation, contraceptive dissatisfaction and unintended pregnancy. In Ethiopia, the prevalence of contraceptive is highly skewed, 76% for injectable. Therefore, the purpose of qualitative study was to assess determinants of modern contraceptive preference among reproductive age (15-49 years) in Central Zone of Tigray.Methodology: the study was conducted in the central zone of Tigray and community, and facility based qualitative cross-sectional study was applied. Six focus group discussion entails of reproductive age mothers and 15 In-depth Interview with health workers constitutes the sample. Data was first transcribed and then translated into English language. Open code software was applied to analyze data and data was coded segment by segment then categorized using thematic analysis to give meaning.Result: community’s awareness and acceptance to use modern contraceptives have improved from time to time. Contraceptive preference is determined by community acceptance, health care system problem, individual context and socio-cultural problem. For majority of respondents, preference to long acting contraceptive is mainly influenced by husband.Conclusion: currently, women are preferring short-acting contraceptive preferably injectable than long acting.Implanon is preferred next to injectable. A strong information, education and communication that address all portions of the population and able to change the community’s attitude should do at the grass root level.

The health worker services are a role model. Activities breastfeeding decline when mothers started to work after maternity leave. The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors relating to the mothers on the reproductive age who works in the hospital. The method of the research was quantitative with cross-sectional. The research used questioners and held on January-March 2020. Total sampling with 40 respondents.  The result showed two variables were significant. There are the age of the mothers with p-value with the p 0.044 < 0.05 and the level of mother education with the p 0.045 <0.05. The reproductive age and education significantly positive for history giving exclusive breastfeeding.  The mothers had chosen mix feeding for nutritive their babies.  The environment did not support, even mothers have enough for their knowledge so they decided to give formula. Although mothers have high of the level of education still give mix feeding because of back to work, have no support on breastfeeding and facility where the mothers work. Conclusion the health services such as in the hospital should give the employee specialized women who had reproductive age to support for example facilities for the breast pump, maternity leave policy, and finally could be breastfeeding exclusively.

Abstrak. ASI memberi semua energi dan nutrisi yang dibutuhkan bayi selama 6 bulan pertama hidup bayi, sehingga dianjurkan untuk enam bulan pertama bayi hanya diberi ASI Ekslusif tanpa tambahan makanan atau minuman lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa hubungan frekuensi perawatan payudara dengan kelancaran produksi ASI pada ibu nifas hari ke 4. Metode penelitian yang digunakanan adalah analitik observasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh ibu nifas hari ke 4 di BPS Asri dan Polindes Permata Bunda Tuban bulan Juli - AgustusTahun 2020, sampel penelitian adalah sebagian ibu nifas hari ke 4 di BPS Asri dan Polindes Permata Bunda Tuban bulan Juli – Agustus Tahun 2020. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah simple random sampling. Variabel independen dalam penelitian ini adalah frekuensi perawatan payudara sedangkan variabel dependen dalam penelitian ini kelancaran produksi ASI. Analisis data dalam penelitian menggunakan korelasi Spearman dengan batasan signifikan jika p-value < 0,05. Analisa hasil penelitian menunjukkan p-value = 0,000 yang berarti terdapat hubungan antara frekuensi perawatan payudara dengan kelancaran produksi asi pada ibu nifas hari ke 4. Pentingnya ASI bagi bayi maka ibu nifas diharapkan selalu menjaga kelancaran ASI dengan cara melakukan perawatan payudara secara rutin dan benar.  Kata kunci. Perawatan payudara, ASI, Nifas   The Correlation between The Frequency of Breast Care and The Smooth Production of Breast Milk on Day 4 Postpartum  Abtract.Breastmilk provides all the energy and butrition a baby needs for the first 6 months of baby life. The firts six months only exclusive breastfeeding is provided for babies without any additional food or drink. This study aims to analyze the correlation between the breast care frequency and the smooth production of breastmilk in post-partum mothers on day 4. The research method was observational analytic with a cross-sectional approach. The study population was all-day 4 postpartum mothers and the study sample were some of the fourth days' postpartum mothers at BPS Asri and Polindes Permata Bunda Tuban in March-April 2020. The research sampling was simple random sampling. The independent variable was the frequency of breast care, while the dependent variable was the milk production smoothness. Data analysis used the Spearman correlation with significant limits of p-value <0.05. The analysis of the results showed a p-value=0.000, which means that there was a correlation between the breast care frequency and the breastmilk smooth production in postpartum mothers on day 4. The importance of breastfeeding for babies is that postpartum mothers are expected to always maintain the smooth running of breast milk by doing regular and correct breast care.  Keywords.
