The COVID-19 pandemic has caused restrictions on activities, and it has the potential to increase the prevalence of non-communicable diseases for people with risk factors. Hypertension is a non-communicable disease which is still a health problem in Indonesia. Therefore, it is necessary to educate the public to increase awareness of the occurrence of hypertension. The method was used to provide health education to the community. The success of this activity was assessed from the results of the pretest and posttest. The health service activity was held on October 2, 2021 and was attended by 38 participants. The average value of the pretest results was 23.68 points and the posttest score was 70.18 points. This shows an increase in the average posttest value of 3 times the average value of the pretest. Participants with poor knowledge in pretest were 36 (94.8%) participants. The result dropped to 7 (18.4%) participants after the posttest. While only 1 (2.6%) participants with good knowledge in the results of the pretest and increased to 13 (34.2%) participants from the posttest results. The results of this activity have been proven to increase participants' knowledge about hypertension. This is reflected in the decrease in participants with poor knowledge and an increase in participants with good knowledge. It is hoped that these results can increase public awareness of the dangers of hypertension so that it can avoid the occurrence of hypertension in the future.

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a non-communicable disease that contributes to the cause of death. Based on the analysis of the situation in Kawengen Village, Semarang Regency, there were several problems related to the incidence of DM, including the Non-Communicable Disease Integrated Guidance Post Program (Posbindu PTM), which was not running optimally. Based on these problems, it is necessary to form a movement called the Anti-Diabetes Mellitus Community Alert Movement (SIMANIS). Active case finding and detection of pre-DM cases aim to capture people who already have pre-DM symptoms, but they do not know. Furthermore, if caught, they can be followed up so that they are willing to go to the health service unit before complications occur. The implementation of this community service activity is carried out in four stages, namely the formation of SIMANIS cadres, education on prevention and control of DM to SIMANIS cadres and the community, ToT on how to fill in and use the SIDIA Card (pre-diabetes screening) to SIMANIS cadres, and use of the SIDIA Card for early detection active case finding pre-DM. There was an increase in the pre-post education knowledge score from 7.59 + 1.5 to 8.93 + 0.9 and an increase in the pre-post education attitude score from 7.96 + 1.22 to 9.07 + 0.78. SIMANIS through the use of the SIDIA Card can be used to increase public awareness in prevention, early detection, and case finding of DM.

Malaysians suffer from both communicable and non-communicable diseases. Tuberculosis (communicable disease) is common in rural places and dengue (non-communicable disease) is a popular vector-borne disease in Malaysia. Health centres record information of the victims, but merely recording the address in a Microsoft Excel file does not provide much insight to viewers. Currently, an easy to use tool is not available for doctors, officers from the Ministry of Health, and also the public to analyse and visualise the data. It is difficult and time consuming to analyse and interpret raw data tabulated through Microsoft Excel. This research aims to develop a prototype tool that visualises disease data on a Google map. An interpretation is then generated along with the visualisation to give an impartial description about the data. This prototype obtained favourable feedback from a health officer as it can help them in analysing data and assist in the decision making process. The benefit of such application is helpful in tracking diseases’ spreading patterns, how to isolate diseases, as well as mobilising personnel and equipment to the affected areas.

The purpose of this community service was to provide knowledge and understanding of halal certificates to the public, increase public awareness of the importance of halal certificates and motivate the community to have halal certificates for those who have businesses in the scope of halal products. The service method was carried out by socializing the role of the halal certificate, giving questionnaires to participants and evaluating the questionnaire. The parameters of public halal awareness are reviewed from general knowledge about halal law, public awareness about the implementation of halal products and knowledge about the role of halal certificates. The results showed that all participants had good general knowledge of halal law, had high level of awareness of the implementation of the use of halal products and all participants have good knowledge about the role and management of halal certificates. The results of direct discussions with participants explained that micro business actors do not have a halal certificate due to the lack of socialization regarding halal certificate management by the Government. It can be concluded that basic knowledge of halal law and high awareness of halal are not sufficient to guarantee the high desire of micro-entrepreneurs to apply for halal certificates.

Community activities during the pandemic due to the stay at home policy resulted in an increase in the remaining results of activities. As a result, untreated household wastewater will have a negative impact on the surrounding waters and can become a source of disease for the community. The main purpose of this service is to educate and provide skills to the community to treat household wastewater in Jongso Hamlet, Wotan Village. The main material used for wastewater treatment is alum. This is because alum is a coagulant that can bind impurities in water. This service activity is carried out by socializing through online audio-visual media, namely Youtube, while the training is carried out directly at the stage of processing household liquid waste to the Dukuh Jongso community, and activity evaluation indicators are based on participant responses to socialization and training. The results of the implementation showed that the participants were enthusiastic in the socialization and training. This activity is also effective in educating the public, especially about public awareness of the surrounding environment. It is hoped that the community will continue to be committed to improving their knowledge and skills in protecting the surrounding environment. The community care movement for the surrounding environment is expected to continue to be applied independently and disseminated to other communities.

Hypertension is a non-communicable disease. This continues to increase from year to year, and can lead to various other chronic diseases. This study aims to analyze the effect of diet on hypertension in 2019. This type of research is an observational analytic study with a prospective cohort study design. The population in this study were all adults (26 - 45 years) at the Puskesmas Kebun Sikolos. By means of purposive random sampling, a sample of 110 respondents was selected. The data obtained were processed by computerization using the Chi-square test and the Mantel Haenszel test. Chi-square test results showed that there was a relationship between salt consumption (p = 0.004 and RR = 1.521), fat (p = 0.008 and RR = 1.464), fiber (p = 0.014 and RR = 2.047) and caffeine (p = 0.012 and RR = 1.438) against hypertension. The coat-Haenszel test results showed that age, gender, family history, physical activity, smoking habits, and obesity were confounding factors in the relationship between diet and hypertension. It can be concluded that the main factor that is closely related to hypertension is salt consumption. It is advisable to provide an understanding to the public about the risk of frequent salt consumption which causes hypertension to be very beneficial

The situation of the increasingly massive spread of Covid-19 in Indonesia has forced several countries to issue travel restrictions for their citizens entering Indonesia, as well as prohibiting Indonesian citizens from visiting their country. Health promotion is needed that can raise the awareness of Indonesian citizens to adhere to health protocols. This community service activity seeks to increase public awareness by sharing experiences from survivor and nurses of Covid-19 patients at community health services (CHS) and in field hospitals. Health promotion through webinars, which are open publicly and for free, took place on September 29, 2020. Webinars through the Zoom application and broadcast live streaming on Youtube media with the channel name "baca baca baca". The two media were chosen with the intention of making health education activities accessible to many people at any time so that the achievement of the goals could also be broader. The number of participants in Zoom media when conducting the webinar according to the previous plan is at least 50 people (54 people). The number of viewers via Youtube media exceeds the planned output of more than 100 viewers (326 people) in three months. Awareness improvement of the general public in complying with health protocols in preventing Covid-19 transmission is built through a good perception of this. Good perceptions are built through correct knowledge. The webinar method has also proven not to be an obstacle to providing health promotion to the public.
