The majority of the younger generation ignore national culture, such as traditional dances, and prefer modern dances. This makes the importance of strengthening traditional dance groups & place (sanggar tari) as a forum for developing creativity in traditional culture in Medan. Therefore, in this community service, efforts to strengthen the sanggar tari to strengthen Medan's local culture were carried out. This activity consisted of a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and dance training for 30 young men and women members of the Medan Amplas sub-district sanggar tari held for two months. Besides providing training, the community service team facilitates supporting equipment in traditional dance performance activities for members, such as clothing, accessories, and other training media. The lecture, Q&A, demonstration, and drill methods are used in its implementation. This community service has resulted in the form of services to raise public awareness of the local dance culture of North Sumatera, especially in Medan, with training assistance to increase creativity, innovation, and the ability of the sanggar members in the field of traditional dance and culture.

Galur Subdistrict is an area that has abundant art and tradition potential and is in great demandby its people. Unfortunately, the art performances and traditions that are carried out only aim merelyto continue what have been done through generations. On the other hand, the influx of modernarts has become a threat to preserving traditional culture, especially among young people who aresupposed to be the guardians of the traditions. Tis encourages Javanese Literature Study Programto carry out a community service program consisting of a series of training program as the StudyProgram’s concern and real action for cultural preservation.The training program is carried out through mentoring in motivating, counseling, education,discussion, and consultation. By using such mentoring techniques, it is expected that the result of theprogram will be optimum, namely raising public awareness to increase language literacy, knowledgeof literature, and the knowledge of the art performances they have. In turn, they will be able tomanage the performances as a professional art performance organizer in the region.The outcomes of the community service program comprise the increasing ability of participants inreading and writing simple texts using Javanese alphabet, participants’ ability to compose macapatsongs and sing them, the participants’ ability to write Javanese poems with the rinengga language,the participants’ ability create a series of dances and nursery rhymes to be performed, and theparticipants’ ability to become masters of ceremonies. In times of the global integration of economy and culture, the preservation of the value of national traditional culture and the variety of architectural culture is of great significance for the development of national culture. Design is supposed to be the perfect combination of technology and art, which cannot be separated from the cultural factors. Design is influenced and constrained by culture and in turn reflects the characters of culture of the time. Design of any age is closely related with the local culture. The traditional culture of nationality, regionalism and sociality not only affects the contemporary arts movement but also directly influences the contemporary designing movement.

ABSTRACT  Merchants in Laban Village, Menganti District, Gresik Regency, which has a diverse population and different beliefs, require knowledge of the importance of SNI in the ‘halal’ field in the household industry. The lack of awareness about ASUH (safe, healthy, whole, and halal) food ingredients, food hygiene and halal certification causes people to ignore the important role of public health risks that may come from food. The business concept is still traditional. Food processing is still relatively simple, so it has not reached optimal results. The potential of merchants as a driving force for the people's economy in that particular village is quite large but it is still not supported with knowledge regarding proper ASUH meat and food hygiene. The goal of this community service is to raise the public awareness of emerging diseases from food, along with improving the health standard of animal-based products business under the SNI in the Halal sector in the Food Household Industry in Gresik Regency and thus improving the income of food entrepreneurs selling processed animal-based food. The method used in this community service is to guide animal health to street vendors selling processed materials derived from livestock followed by SNI training and the process of halal certification submission. The main idea of the focus group discussion is about how to obtain ASUH meat and its processing application. The evaluation of this activity is a pre and post-test for the community service participants. The result of this community service is an increase in the awareness of SNI in the halal sector in the home industry and an increase in regulations regarding the flow of obtaining halal certification for processing basic products from livestock along with the increase of knowledge and skills of community service participants. In conclusion, the community service activity has a positive impact on the implementation of halal SNI in household industries in Laban Wetan village to achieve halal certification.  Keywords: SNI; Halal; Certification; Pelapak    ABSTRAK  Pelapak  di Desa Laban  Kecamatan Menganti Kabupaen Gresik dengan penduduk dan latar belakang keyakinan yang majemuk memerlukan pengetahuan pentingnya SNI bidang halal pada industry Rumah Tangga . Minimnya kesadaran tentang bahan pangan yang asuh, higyne pangan dan sertifikasi halal menjadikan masyarakat kurang memahami peran penting terhadap kesehatan masyarakatnya yang bisa disebabkan oleh makanan.Konsep usaha yang masih tradisional. Pengolahan pangan masih relative sederhanan  sehingga belum mencapai hasil yang optimal. Potensi pelapak sebagai penggerak ekonomi rakyat   di Desa tersebut cukup besar tetapi masih belum diimbanagi dengan pengetahuan tentang daging asuh , dan kesehatan makanan. Peningkatan public awarnes terhadap emerging disease penyakit akibat pangan   Peningkatan kesehatan terhadap usaha produk asal hewan  sesuai SNI bidang Halal pada Industri Rumah Tangga Pangan  di kabupaten Gresik sehingga meningkatkan pendapatan pelaku usaha makan berbahan dasar olahan dari hewan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah dengan pembinaan pada para pelapak pedagang kaki lima yang menjual bahan olahan yang berasal dari ternak,sni , kesehatan ternak,dilanjutkan dengan pelatihan alur SNI dan pengajuan sertifikasi halal. Pelksanaan focus group discussion mengenai cara mendapatkan daging asuh, dan aplikasi pengolahannya. Evaluasi kegiatan ini adalah pre dan post test peserta pengmas. Hasil dari pengmas ini adalah adanya peningkatan kesadaran SNI bidang halal pada industry rumah tangga dan peningkatan pengatuan tentang alur mendapatkan sertifikasi halal untuk olahan produk bernahan dasar dari hasil ternak. dan peningkatan pengetahuan serta ketrampilan peserta pengmas. Kegiatan Pengmas memberikan dampak yang positif terkait pelaksanaan SNI halal pada industry rumah tangga di desa laban wetan untuk mencapai sertifikasi halal.  Kata kunci: SNI; Halal; Sertifikasi; Pelapak

The yard is a green open space that has economic value. The society's devotion was conducted on Sunday, October 22, 2017, in Ciherang Village, Bogor, West Java. The purpose of community service was to grow the spirit of public awareness of the importance of preserving the environment within the scope of the family and the surrounding environment. The method used was FGD (Focus Group Discussion) method and application. The research used descriptive analysis. The results showed that the high enthusiasm and awareness about environmental awareness in the field of the yard. Overall awareness raising of the community requires cooperation between various parties.

Community Service is one of the programs that are needed by the community today. This is done as an effort to respond to the needs of the community and is real program and realistic, especially in the fields of education, social, economic and cultural. Community Service Program is a program that is learning, studying and serving that is realized in the form of introduction and appreciation of community development through the clarity of planned change programs and problem solving methods regarding the ability to choose and use the right skills. A big nation is a nation that wants to respect its culture. Indonesia has a diversity of cultures that are characteristic and assets of the Indonesian nation. But most of the younger generation has forgotten a lot of the culture of the nation. The tendency of the younger generation now prefers outside cultures and many younger generations are less able to sort out most of which have negative impacts rather than a positive impact on themselves and others as well as the environment. There is a need for character education so that the younger generation can be relied upon in the future according to the nation's culture, such as being responsible for mutual cooperation, mutual assistance and good manners. Reog Kendhang's art proves that local culture can increase the sense of community nationalism and be able to become social controls so as not to fall into bad lifestyle. The formation of a national culture that can truly reunite all components of the nation's culture, therefore it is necessary to have a deeper introduction to history and cultural heritage in search of the identity of a pluralistic Indonesian society.

The ideology of radical-terrorism is an interesting remark to be understood by the Karangduren Klaten village community as an effort in preventing the entry value that is against the ideology of Pancasila. The supreme divinity value of Pancasila ideology one in the reform era has been challenged by the wave of globalization on information. Socialization on the divinity values aims to stimulate public awareness on the threat of radical ideology of terrorism that potentially grow and develop in the village of Karangduren, Kebonarum, Klaten. This study covers the fields of nationalism and identity with the preaching method and focus of discussion. The Ideology of divinity axiologically and epistemologically comprising of divinity, humanity, unity, democratic and justice values which need to be delivered through specific form of communication which can be adjusted to community’s life in the village of Karangduren. Language as a tool in which various information can be accessed by people living in both rural and urban transition strongly influenced by factors of traditional cultural practices that are still upheld in dealing with modernity. The current actual discourse of terrorism needs to be understood and useful as countering radicalism through familiarization the noble values exemplifications as deeply held by the community leaders and the local youth movement ‘Karangtaruna; through the use of appropriate language on the context of Karangduren citizens.

Doing physical activity can make the body fit and increase the body's immunity to be able to fight the virus during the Covid-19 pandemic. Based on this, sports activities are needed to invite people to maintain their physical health through healthy exercise activities which are held aimed at increasing people's interest in exercising during the Covid-19 pandemic during new normal so that their body endurance is better. This community service (PKM) is a form of real work from the Hamzanwadi University Physical Education and Health Study Program for the people of South Pringgasela Village to participate in healthy gymnastics as an effort to prevent Covid-19. Healthy gymnastics activities can increase public awareness of the importance of maintaining health in the era of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Siladen is an island east of Bunaken Island with a population of approximately 300 family heads. Since the first Community as Fishermen to change since the entry of foreign and local investors invest their capital in the tourism sector by establishing resorts and international diving spot. Residents who were formerly fishermen, are now beginning to be recruited into company employees. The community of Siladen Island is derived from sangihe island and still maintains its cultural tradition, one of which is Masamper music. This art, often featured in social activities, local culture until now. To improve the welfare of the local community, the Community Service is implemented which is focused on the children. The santri group discussion aims to strengthen the character of Pancasila and the santri knowledge about issues of radicalism and terrorism in order to avoid the radicalism ideology. The activity was held at the Darul Abror Purwokerto Islamic Boarding School with 50 participants. The community service method uses a combination of community education methods and group discussions. The activity was carried out in three sessions: providing educational material, in-group discussions, and inter-group discussions. In the first session, the method provides in-depth material on radicalism and Pancasila by the community service team. The method at the second session is in-group discussion. The second session's point was to improve the participants analytical skills in responding to radicalism and Pancasila issues. The method in the third session is inter-group discussion. The santri group discussion showed that the students in Darul Abror had increased knowledge about radicalism and terrorism and developed the character of Pancasila to prevent the threat of radicalism. Students sharpen hard skills through discussion activities in practice identification and analysis of problems and problem-solving. The development of participants' soft skills is a sense of respect for other people's opinions, tolerance, and culture of deliberation.

Under the background of the vigorous development of various cultural and artistic forms, the traditional patterns that can express the unique charm of Chinese national culture have become an important material for modern design. Traditional patterns not only have unique decorative functions, but also represent the spirit of traditional culture. Among them, flower and bird patterns are also precipitated by history. It is worth exploring how to combine the flower and bird patterns with the aesthetics of the times, and how to integrate the traditional flower and bird patterns with the nature of the times. Starting with the formation and development of flower and bird patterns, this paper analyzes the historical, cultural and aesthetic attributes of flower and bird patterns from the perspective of design culture, and expounds the application of flower and bird patterns in makeup and hair in various historical dynasties. With the development of the times, the application of flower and bird patterns in modern makeup and hair should be both national and in line with the aesthetic requirements of modern people.
