Abstract: This research aimed to find out about library management which included planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and controlling for the improvement of service and students reading interest at SMPN 3 Salatiga. This research used qualitative approach. Type of this research was descriptive. The research was done in Adyama Pustaka Library of SMPN 3 Salatiga. Data was collected by observation, interview, and documentation. From the result of the research, it can be concluded that: 1) planning of library work program at SMPN 3 Salatiga is in accordance with the planning of library program which are purpose, policy, strategy, and program. All of formulated work program has described about the purpose, policy, strategy, and upcoming program to achieve the desire result. 2) Implementation of library work program at SMPN 3 Salatiga in improving the quality of service and reading interest includes; implementation of differentiation program, processing literature, implementation of service program, implementation of data analysis program, implementation of students activity program, implementation of promotion program, and implementation of inventory taking. The implementation of library work program at SMPN 3 Salatiga has been running well. Then, added by establishment with intern and extern part. 3) Evaluation of planning and implementation of library work program is as a basis for determining policies in the following year.Keywords: Service Quality; Library Management; Reading Interest

The book collection has not been properly inventoried, student interest in reading visits is still low, supervision is carried out every 2/3 months, there is a loss of inventory of madrasa library books, the head of the library does not have staff resources. The purpose of this study is to uncover and analyze the management process including; planning, implementing, organizing, monitoring and evaluating libraries in Madrasah Aliyah Darussalam Sumedang, Indonesia. This research method is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques use; study interviews with the head of the library as the key informant and head of the madrasa, study documents include, book archives, library work programs, library visit books; Observation studies record library activity activities, discussion processes, weekly meetings. The results showed that; first, planning is carried out with the madrasa head at the madrasa level meeting by submitting a work program and submitting a draft budget (RAB); second, organizing is regulated based on the statement of the headmaster of madrasa no: MA.i / S / 20 / pp.006 / 001/2019 concerning the additional duties of Elyana Barbera as head of the library and does not yet have accompanying staff; third, the program implementation at the library is carried out by the head of the library, namely borrowing books, daily library services, work program socialization; fourth, supervision is carried out incidentally monthly and weekly, direct and indirect visits through work program reports to the madrasah head; an evaluation is carried out at the end of the school academic period by submitting a report on the overall madrasa library management program.

The purpose of this study was to describe the effectiveness of the implementation of “public service plus” programs in Kecamatan Kuranji Padang City. This study described the effectiveness of program implementation seen from the quality of apparatus, administrator competence, facilities and infrastructure, discipline, and supervision. This study was a descriptive research with quantitative approach. The population of this study amounted to 1285 users of public services plus, with a sample of 93 respondents determined by Slovin formula and used random sampling technique. Instrument in this study used questionnaire with Likert scale measurement. Data in this study were analyzed with descriptive statistic. The results of this study indicated that the effectiveness of the implementation of public service plus programs only reached 49.7% and categorized as quite effective. In terms of effectiveness of the implementation of public service programs plus seen from the quality of apparatus, administrator competence, facilities and infrastructure, discipline and supervision, the service program only reached 57.3% and categorized as quite effective.

The Indonesian Librarian Association (IPI) Organization of Riau Province is one of the organizations that support the quality of human resources in the librarian profession, with the existence of a professional librarians organization can help librarians in improving library management to the maximum. This study aims to determine how the Role of the Indonesian Librarian Association (IPI) of Riau Province in Developing the Quality of Librarian Human Resources. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. This research was conducted by interviewing the management and members of the Riau Province Indonesian Librarian Association (IPI) based on three indicators, namely (1) Scientific Activities, (2) Education and Training, and (3) Riau Smart Program. The results of the interviews show that of the three work program indicators, the Indonesian Librarian Association (IPI) of Riau Province has not carried out its activities properly. In the Scientific Activity Indicator, IPI of Riau Province has conducted 5 activities that lead to the development of librarians' human resources. In the Education and Training Indicator, IPI of Riau Province has conducted 1 activity that leads to the development of librarian's human resources. In the Riau Smart Program Indicator, the Provincial IPI has carried out 1 activity that leads to the development of library human resources. So it can be concluded that the role of the Indonesian Librarian Association (IPI) of Riau Province in Developing the Quality of Librarian's Human Resources has not been carried out to the maximum.Keywords: Role, Librarian, Quality, Human Resources, Indonesian Librarian Association (IPI) of Riau Province.

Tukamase Village is one of the villages where STIBA Makassar Community Service Program (KKN) III students are placed, in Bantimurung District, Maros Regency. All people of Tukamase village are Muslims of various ages, ranging from children to the elderly people, so the planned activity program was directed to people of various backgrounds. Among the programs formulated by STIBA Makassar Community Service Program (KKN) III students were programs of the Koran discourse. The purpose of this program was to enhance the competence and understanding of reading the Koran properly. The details of Koran discourse consisted of: (1) basic Koran learning at TKA/TPA; (2) dirosa; (3) enhancement of recitation; (4) discourse of history of the Prophet; (5) discourse of Koran interpretation; (6) language discourse (Arabic); (7) Koran donation. Most people of Tukamase before participating in the Koran discourse programs had minimum competence and quality of understanding Koran, such as being unable to read the Koran fluently, not understanding the rules of recitation, and even among participants were those who were illiterate in the Koran, and after participating in the activities in Koran discourse, people of Tukamase had developed in terms of competence and quality of understanding the Koran, especially in terms of pronunciation of the letters and reading the Koran according to the rules of recitation. In addition, Koran discourse program also provided a positive influence in fostering the intensity of Muslim community at Tukamase village’s interaction with the Koran.

The organizational structure of long-term care (LTC) facilities often removes the rehab department from the interdisciplinary work culture, inhibiting the speech-language pathologist's (SLP's) communication with the facility administration and limiting the SLP's influence when implementing clinical programs. The SLP then is unable to change policy or monitor the actions of the care staff. When the SLP asks staff members to follow protocols not yet accepted by facility policy, staff may be unable to respond due to confusing or conflicting protocol. The SLP needs to involve members of the facility administration in the policy-making process in order to create successful clinical programs. The SLP must overcome communication barriers by understanding the needs of the administration to explain how staff compliance with clinical goals improves quality of care, regulatory compliance, and patient-family satisfaction, and has the potential to enhance revenue for the facility. By taking this approach, the SLP has a greater opportunity to increase safety, independence, and quality of life for patients who otherwise may not receive access to the appropriate services.

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena minat baca siswa dan pengaruh minat baca terhadap pertumbuhan kemampuan belajar siswa pada jenjang-jenjang pendidikan selanjutnya. Kepala sekolah sebagai lokomotif perkembangan mutu pendidikan memiliki peran strategi bagi pengumbuhan dan pengembangan minat baca peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran kepala madrasah sebagai edukator, manajer, dan innovator dalam pengembangan minat baca peserta didik di MIT Nurul Islam Kota Semarang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif lapangan, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan triangulasi, serta dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Peran kepala madrasah sebagai edukator dalam pengembangan minat baca peserta didik meliputi meliputi tiga pembinaan, yakni pembinaan mental dan moral, serta pembinaan artistik. 2) Peran kepala madrasah sebagai manajer dalam pengembangan minat baca peserta didik di MIT Nurul Islam meliputi penerapan fungsi-fungsi manajemen dengan didasarkan pada pada kerjasama dengan USAID dan UIN Walisongo Semarang. 3) Peran kepala madrasah sebagai innovator dalam pengembangan minat baca peserta didik di MIT Nurul Islam Kota Semarang meliputi inovasi strategi, pola pikir (mindset) dan struktur. Abstract This research is motivated by the phenomenon of reading interest of students and the influence of reading interest on the growth of students' learning ability in the next level of education. The principal as a locomotive of the development of the quality of education has a strategic role for the growth and development of reading interest of learners. This study aims to determine the role of principal as an educator, manager, and innovator in the development of reading interest of learners in MIT Nurul Islam Semarang City. This research is a qualitative field research, data collected through observation, interview, documentation and triangulation, and analyzed by descriptive analysis technique. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The role of principal as an educator in the development of reading interest of learners includes three activities are coaching, namely mental and moral coaching, and artistic coaching. 2) The role of principal as manager in the development of reading interest of learners at MIT Nurul Islam covers the application of management functions based on cooperation with USAID and UIN Walisongo Semarang. 3) The role of principal as innovator in the development of reading interest of learners at MIT Nurul Islam Semarang City includes innovation strategy, mindset, and structure.

This study aims to describe the strategy of the madrasa head in implementing the memorizing (tahfidz) al-Qur'an program in MAN 1 Sampang and MA Al-Ittihad Al-Islami Camplong, with sub foci including (1) madrasa head planning, (2) madrasa head program implementation, and (3) the implications of the madrasa head strategy, which was carried out by MAN 1 Sampang and MA Al-Ittihad Al-Islami Camplong Sampang Madura. The results of this study indicate that: 1) planning the tahfidzul Qur'an program namely; cooperating with various parties both inside and outside the school, determining the coach of tahfidz who already memorized 30 juices. 2) The process of implementing the Tahfidz program is carried out every week at 06: 50-07: 30 WIB in each class using the Muroja'ah and Tikrar methods, the depositing process can be carried out on male or female coaches or assistant coaches. 3) Implications of the program of tahfidz al-Qur'an namely; improve the quality of madrasas, the number of student memorization that exceeds the target, and student achievement in non-academic fields. Keyword: Strategy, Remembering, Memorizing, Tikrar

Product design become more important thing for traditional snack producers, especially jajan pasar, which is the term for traditional snack in the Semarang and Central Java Region. The design of packaging and digital advertising is also a supporting tool in marketing of jajan pasar. The development of creativity and product packaging innovation is the key to achieving success for the business being run. Product packaging is a way for consumers to judge a product both in the terms of benefits, aesthetics and quality of the product. The unique product design is an added value in marketing of jajan pasar through digital advertising. Jajan pasar are the potency of Gajahmungkur, but this potential is not supported by packaging design and digital advertising in expanding marketing. Seeing this problem, the communication science lecturer cooperated with Karang Taruna Gajahmungkur to create a public service program about the importance of digital advertising supported by a unique packaging design to increase the marketing of jajan pasar in the Gajahmungkur. Public service activities regarding packaging design and digital advertising are expected to be able to help the people of Gajahmungkur in marketing jajan pasar product so that they can improve the prosperity of Gajahmungkur communities

This study was motivated by a phenomenon that appears in madrasa, namely: 1) the low quality of graduates, in MAN 1 with an average result of UAN 58.5 and MAN 2 57.8 from a maximum score of 100; 2) inconsistency in planning, implementing, evaluating programs to improve quality. The purpose of this study was to identify: work programs, program implementation, evaluation of program implementation, program impacts, and supporting factors inhibiting the improvement of the quality of madrasa. The approach of this study was qualitative-naturalistic, with a descriptive research type. This research method was a case study, with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation study. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used the interactive Miles model. The results of this study showed: evaluation of quality improvement which is carried out through an evaluation of needs assessment, assessment of input, assessment of processes and assessment of results.
