  El artículo tiene por objetivo analizar la evolución de los currículos competenciales a través del estudio de la transversalidad de los conocimientos mediante el análisis documental de las principales regulaciones jurídicas educativas. El análisis de contenido permitirá un enfoque transversal sincrónico para comparar las leyes y RD estatales con los decretos y normativas autonómicas catalanas, y un enfoque longitudinal diacrónico para comparar la evolución de los currículos competenciales desde su aparición en la LOE hasta su consolidación en la LOMCE. Dicho análisis de contenido se fundamentará en las regulaciones para la Educación Secundaria Obligatoria (ESO) a través de la materia específica Educación Física, contrastando las ejemplificaciones prácticas con la materia troncal de matemáticas. Las conclusiones determinan el florecimiento de las competencias en los currículos y el asentamiento de la transversalidad como intervención necesaria para su logro. De una transversalidad centrada en los contenidos disciplinares como metodología competencial (conexiones con las otras materias) se evoluciona a la transversalidad basada en las competencias y en la transferibilidad de los conocimientos a contextos reales (tratamiento globalizado de los contenidos).  Abstract. The article aims to analyse the evolution of competency-based curricula through the study of the transversality of knowledge of the main educational legal regulations. The content analysis will allow a synchronous transversal approach to compare the state laws with the decrees of the autonomous administration, and a diachronic longitudinal approach to compare the evolution of the competences curricula from its appearance in the LOE to its consolidation in the LOMCE. Physical Education, a specific subject, will support the exemplification, contrasting it with the core mathematics subject. The conclusions determine the flourishing of competencies in the curricula and the establishment of transversality as a methodological aspect necessary for its achievement. From a transversality focused on disciplinary contents as a competency methodology (connections with other subjects) it evolves to transversality based on competences and on the transferability of knowledge to real contexts (globalized treatment of content).

In order to better understand migration governance and the concrete, daily practices of civil servants tasked to enforce state laws and policies, this special issue focuses on the core artefact of bureaucratic work: documents, in their diverse manifestations, including certificates, letters, reports, case files, decisions, internal guidelines and judgements. Based on ethnographic studies in various contexts, we show how civil servants produce statehood, restrict migrants’ movements, and engage with migrants’ strategies to make themselves legible. State actors simultaneously limit access to legal statutes and benefits, question their own practices, and use their discretion in order to help themselves as well as migrant individuals. We also highlight organisational and professional differences in the way civil servants deal with migrants, relate to the state and its policies and define their obligations towards both, migrants and the state. This special issue therefore contributes to the study of the state as documentary practice and highlights the role of paperwork as serious practice of migration control.

This study aims to describe and analyze impressions of parents on the affective impacts of Gymnastics classes on children from four to six years old, based on Vygotsky`s Historical-Cultural Theoryy and on Wallon´s Development Theory.These classes are part of the university extension in “Gymnastics”, from the Faculty of Physical Education of the State University of Campinas; based on Sport Pedagogy reference and planned with ludic strategias, such as make-believe games. In this case study, semi-structured interviews were conducted with the children parents, and analyzed on Content Analysis. The analysis categories were: Three Momentos Metodology as a factor that provides experiences; Relationship with teacher as a space of affection; Demonstrations about the Sport Pedagogy references: Historical-Cultural; Technical; Socio-educational. The results reveal that children perform movements learned in classes at other times and spaces, including situations that they teach colleagues and family members. About the historical and cultural ascpetcs, the stetements demonstrate that thework with “theoretical” themes with youg children is possible and how contents were learned and impacted them. Therefore, social pedagogical strategias were emphasized as a differential og this Project, which considers the learnes as the the focus of the process, interacting with social environment and co-constrution the knowledge.

This article considers the politics and aesthetics of the colonial Bildungsroman by reading George Moore's often-overlooked novel A Drama in Muslin (1886). It argues that the colonial Bildungsroman does not simply register difference from the metropolitan novel of development or express tension between the core and periphery, as Jed Esty suggests, but rather can imagine a heterogeneous historical time that does not find its end in the nation-state. A Drama in Muslin combines naturalist and realist modes, and moves between Ireland and England to construct a form of untimely development that emphasises political processes (dissent, negotiation) rather than political forms (the state, the nation). Ultimately, the messy, discordant history represented in the novel shows the political potential of anachronism as it celebrates the untimeliness of everyday life.

Subject. The military-industrial complex is one of the core industries in any economy. It ensures both the economic and global security of the State. However, the economic security of MIC enterprises strongly depends on the State and other stakeholders. Objectives. We examine key factors of corporate culture in terms of theoretical and practical aspects. The article identifies the best implementation of corporate culture that has a positive effect on the corporate security in the MIC of the USA, the United Kingdom, the European Union, Japan ans China. Methods. The study employs dialectical method of research, combines the historical and logic unity, structural analysis, traditional techniques of economic analysis and synthesis. Results. We performed the comparative analysis of corporate culture models and examined how they are used by the MIC corporations with respect to international distinctions. Conclusions and Relevance. The State is the main stakeholder of the MIC corporations, since it acts as the core customer represented by the military department. It regulates and controls operations. The State is often a major shareholder of such corporations. Employees are also important stakeholders. Hence, trying to satisfy stakeholders' needs by developing the corporate culture, corporations mitigate their key risks and enhance their corporate security.

The purpose of this study was to explore the antecedents of family conflict in Uganda. A qualitative approach was used in this study. A sample size of 139 participants provided data which was subjected to content analysis. Results revealed that the core themes associated with family conflict are finances and priority of resources. Further findings show that differences in tastes and interests, selfishness and lack of communication played a key role as causes of family conflicts. The implication of this study is that finances and priority of resources are antecedents of family conflict in the context of Uganda. Therefore, the antecedents of family conflict that emerged from this study can be understood, defined and analyzed through the lens of social identity theory. Future research may include conducting quantitative studies with a particular demographic using the themes that have emerged from this study.

The ideology of Pancasila as a way of life, the basis of the state, and national identity has a various challenge from time to time so that the existence of Pancasila as an Ideology must be maintained, especially in industrial revolution 4.0. The research method used is a qualitative approach by doing study of literature. In data collection the writer used documentation while in techniques data analysis used content analysis, inductive and descriptive. Results of the research about challenges and strengthening of the Pancasila Ideology in facing the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 are: (1)  grounding Pancasila, (2) increasing professional human resources based on Pancasila’s values, (3) maintaining the existence of Pancasila as the State Ideology.

In his article, A. Zholkovsky discusses the contemporary detective mini-series Otlichnitsa [A Straight-A Student], which mentions O. Mandelstam’s poem for children A Galosh [Kalosha]: more than a fleeting mention, this poem prompts the characters and viewers alike to solve the mystery of its authorship. According to the show’s plot, the fact that Mandelstam penned the poem surfaces when one of the female characters confesses her involvement in his arrest. Examining this episode, Zholkovsky seeks structural parallels with the show in V. Aksyonov’s Overstocked Packaging Barrels [Zatovarennaya bochkotara] and even in B. Pasternak’s Doctor Zhivago [Doktor Zhivago]: in each of those, a member of the Soviet intelligentsia who has developed a real fascination with some unique but unattainable object is shocked to realize that the establishment have long enjoyed this exotic object without restrictions. We observe, therefore, a typical solution to the core problem of the Soviet, and more broadly, Russian cultural-political situation: the relationship between the intelligentsia and the state, and the resolution is not a confrontation, but reconciliation.


This is an edited collection of twenty-three new papers on the Gettier Problem and the issues connected with it. The set of authors includes many of the major figures in contemporary epistemology who have developed some of the well-known responses to the problem, and it also contains some younger epistemologists who bring new perspectives to the issues raised in the literature. Together, they cover the state of the art on virtually every epistemological and methodological aspect of the Gettier Problem. The volume also includes some skeptical voices according to which the Gettier Problem is not deeply problematic or some of the problems it raises are not genuine philosophical problems.
