An indicator of the effectiveness of the School is the frequent winning of its graduates and students at international contests, the high demand for Ukrainian circus performers abroad. The main advantages of the Ukrainian Circus Academy are comprehensive, multi-vector, and maximally applied-oriented training, orientation to international recognition, students’ access to prestigious performance stages. Among the weaknesses, there are: underfunding, lack of couches for some rare circus genre, lack of proper training premises, excessively high students’ workload exposure, and the future employers’ non-engagement into students’ graduation projects. The main functions of the circus arts school are professional education, production of circus art acts and performances, career guidance (enrollees’ attraction), popularization of circus arts and training, presentation of Ukrainian circus arts and School abroad, Ukrainian circus arts actors and products promotion.

Inappropriate intake of medications can increase the risk of many morbidities and mortality among the geriatric population. Therefore, assessment of drug underuse, overuse, and inappropriate use has been an area of interest across the different investigations, and according to which, different screening tools were developed to identify these problems and enhance the quality of care to these patients. In the present study, we aim comprehensively discuss the different types of currently reported screening tools that can identify potentially inappropriate medication in the geriatric population. Studies show that assess, review, minimize, optimize, reassess (ARMOR), and medication appropriateness index (MAI) tools are the most commonly reported for this purpose to appropriately evaluate drug administration practices. However, they are time-consuming and need adequately trained personnel, which might not be available within the different settings. Accordingly, we suggest that more than one tool should be used, as we have reviewed all the advantages and disadvantages of the modality within the current study, to adequately facilitate and make the process of evaluation easy and enhance the quality of care for the geriatric population.

This chapter turns to ski manufacturing. It tries to ascertain when skis are well made from appropriate material and considers the advantages and disadvantages of different types of material used for skis. Concerning the quality of raw material, the chapter asserts that the most useful timber comes from pine or hardwoods. It has to be a hard, lightweight, supple, and durable type of wood. In Scandinavia, several ski makers use primarily deciduous trees: aspen, ash, and even goat willow. Birch is used extensively in Finland because the countryside has almost no other species of trees. Manufacturers have tried to build many kinds of metal skis, but they have not had much success because metal's friction greatly increases as temperatures drop.

In this study, the physical exercises were considered from the standpoint of ensuring the quality of sports and sports services that require substantial changes in the content of educational and training process. Of the greatest importance for students of secondary schools at physical training lessons were indicators of interaction with teachers, for pupils of high-school and lyceum students the characteristics of the performance and reliability of the learning process. Students of secondary schools, who exercise in the sports sections, mark off the indicators of duration of training and self-study, and lyceum students and pupils of high-school are more focused on the choice of training facilities and the duration of the training sessions. The requirements of involved in Youth Sports School students primarily related to enhancing the effi ciency of the training process. Comparison of generalized indices of quality of fi tness and sports services of the diff erent school enrolment showed marked features of competitiveness: the older the students, the more requirements are placed on the quality of physical culture and sports services. The degree of satisfaction of physical culture and sports services provided by secondary schools and further education institutions, were signifi cantly diff erent in levels of claims of students. This discrepancy of indices indicated that teachers were trying to attract students to physical culture and sports mainly through coercion.

The article deals with the problem of readiness of future physical education teachers to sports-patriotic activity. We examined the emergence and development of the category "readiness" in the studies of psychologists, physiologists, teachers, specialists of physical culture and sport. Different approaches to the definition of readiness for activity in individual researchers are explained by different types of readiness, different types of activity itself and the specificity of a variety of professional specialties. We have determined that the readiness of future physical culture teachers for sports-patriotic activity is a complex, integral category, which consists of psychological, scientific-theoretical, psychophysical and physical training, and is a state of professional mastery of a teacher and the possibility of its implementation in practice with the aim of sports-patriotic education of the younger generation. According to the quality of readiness of future physical culture teachers for sports-patriotic activity, we have defined the following criteria: informational and cognitive; motivational and axiological, reflexive, operative, activity-practical. The determined levels and indicators of future physical education teachers' readiness for sports-patriotic activity: low, medium, high. Further research will focus on the connection of sport-patriotic activity of future physical culture teachers with the aspects of functioning in the conditions of New Ukrainian School.

The method of extraction of Agarwood is usually dependent on the purpose of the extract. This systematic review aims to look at the number of studies that use different types of solvents in the process of extraction. There are 3 types of solvents commonly used in the extraction of agarwood essential oils namely methanol, ethanol and water. Each solvent produces different extracts in terms of quantity and quality of the final product. However, there is controversy over the use of solvents as it may cause a cytotoxic effect on the user. Another common type of solvent is water. Although water is a cheap solvent and relatively safe, aqueous extracts have more impurities that make isolating the desired compound difficult. After the extraction process, the crude extract was fractionated into the desired compounds and this technique is widely applied, especially in the whole process of extraction of the agarwood. In conclusion, extraction solvents have certain advantages and disadvantages, and this is one of the reasons why this extraction method depends on the purpose of using the final product such as agarwood essential oil.

Meat quality forms an important part of the assessment of any production method. Some components of quality can only be assessed subjectively using sensory evaluation. Both consumer panels and trained panels have been used to assess visual appeal, tastes and odours, and each has its own advantages and disadvantages. Trained panels are better at discriminating and at describing differences between samples, but are less close to consumer reality. Because quality assessments are made from representative joints, differences among joints might add inconsistency to the results. However, comparisons between different types of panels or sampling sites have rarely been made and there is no indication how well they are associated. The present paper examines the results from different parts of the carcass and from consumer and trained panels assessing visual and taste characteristics.
