The role of fine arts in the process of developing pupils’ creative activity remains insufficiently studied. This is especially true for the specifics of developing a values-based attitude towards any kind of creative activity in the representatives of such a complex age group as younger adolescents. The paper aims to develop and experimentally verify the methodology for developing creative activity in younger adolescents using fine arts in the educational process of secondary schools based on theoretical justification of the problem of the individual’s creative activity. This methodology was aimed at implementing a holistic set of creativity exercises, partial searching and artistic creativity tasks and a variable model for organizing the actions in the form of “the projection of desire”. The control and experimental groups involved the same number of younger adolescents, namely, 143 respondents, whose indicators of development levels of creative activity did not differ significantly. Different methods were used to identify the level of creative activity: questionnaires, interviews, conversations, pedagogical observations, partial searching, multi-level artistic creativity tasks and creativity exercises. The level of creative activity in younger adolescents in the experimental group has increased: a prospective level - by 9.1% (from 7% to 16.1%), a differentiated level - by 5.6% (from 51.7% to 57.3%). A situational level has decreased by 14.7% (from 41.3% to 26.6%). All the obtained data differ from the tabular ones for the selected high level of statistical significance (0.01<p<0.05), which indicates the effectiveness of the developed methodology for developing creative activity in younger adolescents using fine arts in the educational process of secondary schools.

The importance of physical training for a student`s health is underlined in the article. In addition, dependence between a level of physical training development and person`s health is defined. Physical training is not only a certain level of physical activity. Psycho-educational conditions of student`s physical training level as a source of its health are highlighted in the article too. Reforming higher education in Ukraine requires finding new ways to solve the problem of personality formation, development of its physical, mental and spiritual strength. The priority task of the education system is to educate people in the spirit of responsible attitude to their own health and the health of others as the highest social value, the formation of a high level of health of student youth. One of the main tasks of the modern education system is to form a high level of physical culture in students. According to the latest scientific data, up to 90% of students have serious health problems, 50% or more are on the dispensary register, every fifth student (in the humanities - every third, and sometimes even second) is considered to be as preparatory and special medical group or just can`t be involved in physical activity; The level of more than 50% of young people studying in higher educational institutions of our country does not even meet the average level of the state standard of physical fitness, which guarantees stable health. This situation is due to the fact that for today's young people improving their health is not of paramount importance. At the same time, she does not have the necessary knowledge and life experience that would allow her to preserve her personality, to learn the optimal norms of life, based on the understanding of health as the greatest value. A significant part of the diseases of student youth has a so-called didactogenic nature, that is caused or provoked directly by the conditions of the educational process. In this situation, one of the main tasks of pedagogical education is to improve the physical culture of the student.
