ResumenLas competencias genéricas encontraron gran auge en el campo educativo actual. De hecho, un gran número de instituciones de educación superior las contemplaron estructuralmente en sus planes de formación y las justifican en extensos documentos académicos. Sin embargo, hasta la fecha no existen suficientes reportes de investigación que reporten que estas competencias son efectivamente apropiadas en las instituciones de educación superior. Los estudiantes universitarios que egresan de sus carreras no parecen estar suficientemente preparados para los retos que se plantean en la vida real, carecen de muchas de las habilidades que les permitan tomar riesgos, organizar, e ir más allá de lo que han aprendido en clase, haciendo trasferencias de contenidos a situaciones nuevas, sobre todo cuando se trata de hacer una selección apropiada de la información que les sirva para la toma de decisiones. En esta dirección, este artículo muestra los resultados de un estudio realizado con estudiantes de primero y último semestre del programa de Ingeniería de Sistemas de la Universidad Francisco de Paula Santander Ocaña, en el que se relaciona la evaluación de un conjunto de habilidades relacionadas con la competencia que rige la selección y el uso de la información. Específicamente se busca indagar en la forma en la que los estudiantes de Ingeniería de Sistemas adoptan esta competencia a partir de las percepciones de docentes y otros estudiantes. Los resultados incluyeron el análisis de subcategorías inductivas como la recopilación, evaluación y clasificación de la información relevante, el uso de los medios adecuados para transmitir y las habilidades en el uso de la tecnología de la información. En general los estudiantes destacan que esta competencia es importante para su formación, reconociendo que tienen la capacidad para seleccionar y clasificar información, que son creativos en el uso y selección del medio para transmitirla y que poseen habilidades de las se han podido apropiar durante su formación en el programa. Aun así, reconocen que todavía hay aspectos por mejorar.Palabras clave: competencia genérica, educación superior, selección y uso de la información, tecnologías de información. Use and selection of information as generic competition in the professional training of Systems EngineersAbstractGeneric competitions have become increasingly popular in the current educational field. In fact, they are considered by numerous higher education institutions when structuring their educational programs, as well as advocated in extensive academic work. However, thus far, not enough research reports demonstrating these competitions as indeed suited to higher education exist. University graduates do not seem sufficiently prepared for real-life challenges: they lack the skills needed to organize, take risks, and go beyond what was taught in class, tailoring their knowledge to new situations, especially in cases of correctly choosing the information necessary in order to make an informed decision. Accordingly, this article presents the results of a study published by students in their first and last semester of Systems Engineering at the University of Francisco de Paula Santander, Ocaña. The study examines the link between the ability to successfully select and use information with the evaluation of a certain skillset. Specifically, it seeks to investigate the way the students enter such a competition based on the perceptions of their teachers and peers. The results include the analysis of inductive subcategories, such as the gathering, classification and evaluation of relevant information and their ability to relay it through the appropriate channels, as well as their proficiency in information technology. Overall, the students assert that this competition is important for their education, and recognize their efficiency in selecting and classifying information, as well as their creativity the means by which they convey it, and the skills they have been able to successfully adapt during their education program However, they also recognize there are still points that require improvement-Keywords: generic competition, higher education, use and selection of information, information technologies.  Seleção e uso dainformação como competência genérica na formação profissional de Engenheiros de SistemasResumoAs competências genéricas têm encontrado grandesucessono campo educativo atual. Abstract The problem of professional training of skilled human personnel in the industry of information communication technology, the urgency of which is recognized at the state level of Ukraine and the world, has been considered. It has been traced that constantly growing requirements of the labour market, swift scientific progress require the use of innovative approaches to the training of future ІТ specialists with the aim to increase their professional level. The content of standards of professional training and development of information technologies specialists in foreign countries, particularly in Japan, has been analyzed and generalized. On the basis of analysis of educational and professional standards of Japan, basic requirements to the engineer in industry of information communication technology in the conditions of competitive environment at the labour market have been comprehensively characterized. The competencies that graduate students of educational qualification level of bachelor in the conditions of new state policy concerning upgrading the quality of higher education have been considered. The constituents of professional competence in the structure of an engineer-programmer’s personality, necessary on different levels of professional improvement of a specialist for the development of community of highly skilled ІТ specialists, have been summarized. Positive features of foreign experience and the possibility of their implementation into the native educational space have been distinguished. Directions for modernization and upgrading of the quality of higher education in Ukraine and the prospects for further scientific research concerning the practice of specialists in information technologies training have been suggested

Abstractwas to assess patients’ awareness of the prevention and treatment of colorectal cancer.Patients diagnosed with colorectal cancer, hospitalised at the Department of General and Colorectal Surgery of the Medical University in Łódź during the period from January 2015 to April 2015, were asked to complete a questionnaire concerning their families’ medical case record, factors predisposing them to the development of colorectal cancer, the tests applied in diagnostics, and the treatment process. The questionnaire comprised 42 closed-ended questions with one correct answer. A statistical analysis of all answers was carried out.The study group consisted of 30 men and 20 women aged 27–94 years old. A strong, statistically significant negative correlation between a patient’s age and his/her awareness of the prevention and treatment of colorectal cancer was noted (p<0.001; r= −0.51). The study demonstrated a statistically significant relationship between the occurrence of neoplasms in a patient’s family (p=0.009) or, more specifically, the occurrence of colorectal cancer (p=0.008), and the awareness of the prevention programme. The women’s group was characterised by statistically significantly greater awareness of colonoscopy as a screening examination (p=0.004).Patients need more information on colorectal cancer, its risk factors, prevention, the treatment process, and postoperative care. Lack of awareness of the colorectal cancer issue can be one of the major factors contributing to the high incidence of this disease.

Problem and goal. Within the framework of the study, based on the data of the Workplace Learning Report study, specialists from the USA, Canada and other countries, the transformation of corporate training over the past decades was analyzed, the main problems and challenges of companies/enterprises in the process of additional professional training of employees and ways to solve them were identified. The main problems of corporate training at the present time, as in the past, include budget deficit and search for free intervals in the schedules of employees for educational sessions. And the solution was the growth of online training, the use of online platforms, which made it easier to find time in the sche- dule of employees for training, create opportunities for flexible editing of educational content, and for managers it was easier to evaluate additional professional training thanks to the control tools built into online platforms. Methodology. However, it turned out that not all age categories of employees are ready to expand online training: older age workers prefer traditional or mixed training, as opposed to young people. Results. The study found that the degree of digitalization correlates with the size of the company: the comparative effectiveness of digital tools for additional professional education increases with the scale of the system in which they are applied: a deployed digital educational platform requires very few resources to expand to new branches and employees, rather than classical educational formats that require personal participation of teaching staff. Conclusion. The main trends in the development of corporate training in the coming years are described.

Abstract Over the past decade in the world there has significantly increased the process of globalization, which resulted in high demand for the profession of a translator. For future interpreters it is important to be well informed, to know innovations of the sector, which they have chosen as the major. Therefore, the translator should be able to search for information, and critically evaluate it. The article deals with the analysis of the application of modern information technology in the future translators training at the universities of the EU countries. The analysis of scientific and pedagogical literature that investigated aspects of information technology training of future translators at the universities has been made. The most widespread of information technologies that are applied during the translators’ training process have been defined, the possibilities of their application have been grounded. Countries, cities, universities of European Union where such training is carried out have been pointed out. Also it should be mentioned that the characteristic feature of interpreters' higher education in Europe is that the training program tend to a specialization profile. Their main types are: full program of higher education and independent graduate programs of specialized nature. The skills development of using computer technology makes an important contribution towards improving the quality of education during the professional activity. The change and correction of programs in accordance with the development of information technologies, informatization process, professional translators' interests are carried out in education systems. In the process of professional training there are used the methods that are aimed at the intensification of the processes of self-education and self-development. An important provision of the Bologna process is the focus of higher education establishments on educational results: knowledge and skills of the graduates should be applied and practically used.

Изучается отношение к опасности у студентов медицинского вуза в зависимости от курса обучения и пола. Рассматривались показатели отношения к опасностям: чувствительность (сензитивность) к угрозам и выбор способов реагирования в ситуациях опасности: адекватного, тревожного, игнорирующего. В качестве диагностического инструментария использовались авторские опросники на выявление чувствительности (сензитивности) к угрозам и способов реагирования в ситуациях опасности. Обработка результатов осуществлялась с применением методов математической статистики. Полученные результаты могут быть использованы в процессе профессиональной подготовки студентов - будущих медицинских работников, а также в процессе деятельности психологической службы медицинского вуза. The attitude to danger which depends the course of study and the gender of the medical students is being studied. The indicators of the attitude to dangers were considered: sensibility (sensitivity) to threats and the choice of response methods in dangerous situations: adequate, worrying, ignoring. As the diagnostic tools the author's questionnaires were used to identify sensibility (sensitivity) to threats and the ways of responding to the situations of danger. The results were processed with the help of the methods of mathematical statistics. The results can be used in the process of professional training of the students who are future medical workers, as well as in the process of the psychological service of a medical university.

The professional training of specialists in the field of the digital economy is a promising direction in the development of economic education. The transition to digital technologies in management, banking, manufacturing, commerce, communications determines the emergence of new requirements for the professional and general competencies of university graduates. It is necessary to create an innovative vocational training system based on the use of electronic teaching aids and digital technologies. The implementation of this task should begin with the development of scientifically determined approaches to the creation of teaching aids that take into account all kinds of efficiency factors. This determines the importance of the task of scientific and methodological substantiation of the technology for creating electronic educational resources for the training of specialists in a new format. The paper proposes an analytical approach to determining the content and structure of the basic component of the methodological system - an electronic textbook. The expediency of its use in order to develop necessary competencies of the individual and group levels is substantiated. It is proposed to use a matrix form of information representation and elements of matrix and vector analysis to structure the material. A mathematical model has been developed that describes structural relationships between the concepts of the thesaurus. The structural elements in this model are the glossary concepts of an academic discipline. The possibilities of using the model for unification and automation of information processing during the selection of textbook content in various educational fields are discussed. Examples of using the proposed model in various subject areas are given. The authors describe how to represent a model based on graph theory and methods for solving the problem of the presence of cycles in this semantic structure. The main conclusions and results of the study can be used for the practical development of electronic learning tools, automating the process of structuring their content and methods of use in the educational process.
