<p>The work concerns the occurrence conditions <em>Drosera anglica.</em> (EN) within the site located 10  km  from the village of au nord   Końskie near   the Czarna River. The species is very dispersed but in a few places the density was 5-10 of specimens per 1m<sup>2</sup>. This species grows within a patch which is poor in terms of its flora. No significant expansion of trees or shrubs has been noted. This is related to quite a high level of water. Such conditions are favourable to the development of another species under threat of extinction, <em>Rhynchospora alba. </em>Plant-based patches with participation of sundew are heterogeneous in terms of syntaxonomy.  Presence of species has been observed, e.g. from the classes of <em>Phragmitetea </em>and <em>Scheuchzerio-Caricetea nigrae</em>. Soil analyses indicate that the soils under observation are not very acidic, with average content of CaO and ash content which is optimal for this species with the ratio of C:N which indicates a temporary mire. The content of heavy metals is in norm and poses no threat to the surroundings (Pb 64-65 ppm, Cd 2.7-2.9 ppm). Wide ranges in the analysed samples refer to chromium. They do not have an adverse effect on the development of <em>Drosera anglica</em>. A very crucial threat is the consequence of succession, competition and hydrological conditions.</p>

The spatial and species features of heavy metals (Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Ni, Cu, Zn, Zr, Mo, Pb) contents in higher aquatic plants of reservoirs and rivers within Belarus have been analyzed on monitoring data. The group of submerged plants are characterized by high ash content; and they accumulate large amounts of Ti, Mn, Cu, Zn, Zr, Pb. There are statistically signi ficant differences between the plants in ecological groups of reservoirs and rivers in terms of Mn, Cu, Pb contents in the tissues (elements with a 100 % frequency). According to the spatial analysis the reservoirs of the northern geochemical province account for 71 % of the Mn anomalies and 80 % of the Cu anomalies, including the Braslav region – 46 % of the Mn anomalies and 59 % of Cu. Mn, Cu, Pb maximum concentrations are characteristics of submerged macrophytes such lakes as Snudy, Losvido, Maloye Beloye, Beloye (Luninets District), Beloe (Surmino), Svityaz. Among submerged macrophytes within lakes the abnormal accumulation of Mn has been noted for Charophyta (61 % of cases), Myriophyllum and Ceratophyllum, Cu – Charophyta, Isoetes and Lobelia dortmanna, Pb – Isoetes, Charophyta and Potamogeton. The macrophytes within rivers are characterized by the higher ash content and the average content of Mn, Cu and Pb in comparison with the lakes plants. Areas with identified Cu and Pb anomalies in the submerged plants are confined to the central geochemical province of Belarus (the Svisloch river accounts for 67 % of anomalous values of Cu and 33 % of Pb). Anomalous values of Cu have been fixed in the tissues of the Ceratophyllum and Potamogeton, Pb – mostly in Potamogeton. The cluster analysis has distinguished a group of plant species as a part of the following genera: Potamogeton, Myriophyllum, Elodea, Ceratophyllum and Sparganium. The group is characterized by elevated contents of Ti, V, Cr, Mn, Ni, Cu, Zn, Zr, Pb and recommended as indicators of polluting water objects with heavy metals.

This study was based on to determine the concentration of macro and micro nutrients as well as toxic and nontoxic heavy metals present in the chicken feed available in Dhaka city of Bangladesh. All macro nutrients, if present in the feed at high concentration have some adverse effect, at the same time if this nutrient present in the feed at low concentration this have some adverse effect too. So that this nutrient level should be maintained at a marginal level. On the other side toxic heavy metals if present in the feed at very low concentration those can contaminate the total environment of the ecosystem. In this study six brand samples (starter, grower, finisher and layer) which was collected from different renowned chicken feed formulation industry in Bangladesh. Those samples were prepared for analysis by wet ashing and then metals were determined by Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy. It was found that 27.7 to 68.4, 57.3 to 121.9, 0.21 to 4.1, 0.32 to 2.1, 0.11 to 1.58, 0.28 to 2.11 and 0.28 to 1.78 for zinc, iron, copper, mercury, cadmium, nickel and cobalt respectively. It was found that essential macro and micro nutrients were present in the feed in low concentration on the other side mercury was present in high concentration in the feed samples.

AbstractPeriphyton communities were studied on several dominating macrophytes, Phragmites australis, Potamogeton lucens, and Nuphar lutea, in three different types of lakes. In soft-water mesotrophic Lake Mały Borek and in shallow, eutrophic Lake Gardno samples were collected about once every two months from April to November 2009. In eutrophic Szczecin Lagoon (the estuary of the Oder River), samples were only collected once in July. The aim of this paper was to determine the dry mass, the ash content, and the chlorophyll-a content of periphyton on a natural substratum, in order to determine the mass, the inorganicorganic status of periphyton, and the auto-heterotrophic character of this complex. The analyzed periphytic communities exhibited low dry mass at the beginning of the growth season, which increased with colonization period on the aquatic vegetation. The highest (but still low) values were achieved in autumn, which persisted, with small loss, until spring of the subsequent year. The differences in dry mass between each type of lake were small, but in the strongly eutrophic Szczecin Lagoon this index was slightly higher than in the other two water bodies. The highest dry mass was noted for periphyton dominated by Cordylophora caspia colonies overgrowing common reeds and for periphyton on Potamogeton lucens in Szczecin Lagoon. In shallow water bodies, such as Lake Gardno and Szczecin Lagoon, wind causes strong resuspension of sediments. This can explain the relatively high level of inorganic matter in dry mass of the periphyton in both water bodies. However, the small ash content in periphyton in Mały Borek may result from the soft-water character of this lake. The hetero-autotrophic status of the periphytic community prevailed throughout the study period in Gardno and Mały Borek lakes. The auto-heterotrophic status of periphyton was noted only in short periods of time in each lake.

This study was aimed to investigate  the ability of Jerusalem artichokes (Helianthus tuberous L.) to absorb heavy metals in an oil-contaminated ecosystem.  The research was carried out in a  territory of the oil and gas pipeline  at the village of  Bytkiv of Nadvirna district.  Jerusalem artichokes were used for this study and planted on an area of 25 m2.  The area of the experimental field in the village of  Maidan of Tysmenytsia district (control option № 1).  A total of eight treatments of the experiment with different rates of sewage sludge.  It is established that the concentration of heavy metals in oil-contaminated soil and Jerusalem artichoke plants increases with increasing the amount of fertilizers in the soil. The maximum content of metals in the tested soils, green mass and Jerusalem artichoke roots was observed  mainly in the variant of sewage sludge application at the rate of 40 t/ha and fertilizer N10P14K58.The green mass and roots of Jerusalem artichoke exhibited the highest content  of heavy metals absorption the transition coefficients of metals in the system "roots - green mass" increase in the following : Pb → Co → Ni → Cd.  The coefficients of biological absorption of metals by Jerusalem artichoke increase in a number of elements: Co  → Ni → Ld → Ca. Where as  The coefficients of biological accumulation of heavy metals with Jerusalem artichoke increase in a number of elements following series : L → Co → Ni → Ca. It is recommended to use Jerusalem artichoke as a phytoremediator of man-made areas.

Soreng dance is a kind of populist dance in the village Lemahireng. Dance Soreng describe the morale of the troops brave choice soldiers prepared for war games. Issues examined in this study are: Public perception of the Dance in the Village Lemahireng Soreng Bawen District of Semarang District. Goals to be achieved in this research is to determine the public perception in the village Lemahireng Bawen District of Semarang District and to determine the measures to be undertaken by the Department of Education and Culture. This study uses qualitative research methods and conduct research with a sociological approach method. Data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results showed that of some perceptions obtained from the community about Tari Soreng. Perception is not present in the community to support children age (12-17 years) and younger age (17-25 years) and that support tends society in old age (25-85 years). Factors that affect the public perception of dance in the village Soreng Lemahireng Bawen District of Semarang District is the background for the birth of the perception of the community as a high level of education makes way people view more open and modern. The effort to do Office of Education and Culture of Semarang District is to provide guidance Dance Soreng should start with their own community in their respective regions, also carried out by a group of community Soreng kridho Wargo budhoyo, one form of effective formation is to hold a festival or competition. The conclusions of the study are: Problems sector in the public perception depends on your viewpoint and how to view an art. Dance Soreng perception of change in different elements of society Lemahireng village along with the advancement of age. Suggestions for the Education and Culture District of Semarang, to further maximize conservation efforts in the utilization of Dance Soreng in science and tourism. The younger generation is expected to be more easily studied dance Soreng and is expected to preserve and develop it.

This study was aimed at explaining jewelry production, its development and implications of the developing trends. This study was conducted in Celuk Village, Gianyar Regency, a place or arena of production, distribution and at the same time sale of jewelry in Bali, Indonesia, in which Celuk is regarded as the basis for jewelry. This paper explains the development of jewelry at the beginning of the emergence of tourism and the implications, and the introduction of casting machine as the method of production which had an implication in the change of human labor, in which the artisans became machine power regarded as more professional in jewelry production. The data of this ethnographic study were collected through observation, in-depth interview, library research, and internet search. The finding showed that the presence of jewelry that is developing in Celuk Village does not give an optimal positive contribution to the community of the village as artisans, but in stead, it gives profits to the people outside the village who are involved in the development of the jewelry trends. The entrance of tourism with the implication on the high level of jewelry production and sale in Celuk Village started from 1980s gave profits to tour guides who were regarded as the ones who deserve to get fee in a large amount by the artisans. When there was a trend in jewelry in 2010-2014, in which the demand for jewelry like accessories for kebaya cloth for going to the temple and a ring with gemstone drove away the artisans whose position had been replaced by casting machines and workers who came from outside of Celuk Village who were regarded more professional by jewelry business people in producing standard jewelry in a large quantity. In this paper it is understood that artisans in Celuk Village are not able to obtain an optimal use from jewelry trends that develop in their location due to various factors such as the low level of education of the artisans, low level of profesionalism in working, and the low level of ability of the artisans in production management

In experiment 1, 12 cows were used to compare the two (0–0) rapeseed meal (1788 and Tower) varieties with the commercial rapeseed meal (CRSM) and soybean meal (SBM). Feed intake, milk yield and fat content were not different (P > 0.05) among the four treatments; however, protein content was higher (P < 0.05) for the cows fed CRSM and SBM diets than for those fed the 1788–RSM diet. But more (P < 0.05) milk fat was produced by the cows fed 1788–RSM than by those fed CRSM and SBM diets. In experiment 2, eight cows were used to determine the effects of replacing SBM with Tower and also replacing a portion of Tower with urea (TU) in a mixed or extruded (TUE) form on feed intake, milk yield and nitrogen (N) retention. No differences were observed in feed consumption, milk yield or composition among the treatments. Serum thyroxine (T4) level was higher (P < 0.05) for the cows fed SBM than for those fed the 1788–SBM and was similar to levels for cows fed CRSM and Tower in the first experiment. However, no differences were found in thyroxine level in the second experiment. Extrusion of Tower–urea mixture increased (P < 0.05) the N retention compared with other treatments. These short-term studies suggest that up to 25% Tower RSM can be used in dairy rations without adverse effect on performance.

The aim of the study was to study the content of some heavy metals and arsenic in members of the Cricetidae family of hamsters and to develop centile scales for assessing the level of accumulation of these elements for the Central Federal District. In 2018–2020, hamster`s wool was studied for the accumulation of zinc, copper, iron, lead, cadmium and arsenic by the atomic absorption method. The data on the characteristics of the content of chemical elements in different sexes of animals are given. In the course of the study, it was found that, according to the value of the average content in the wool of animals of the family, the studied elements form the following decreasing series: Fe> Zn> Pb> Cu> Cd> As. When studying the features of the accumulation of chemical elements by different sexes, a significant increase in the concentration of zinc, iron, cadmium and arsenic in the wool of males was established, compared with females, depending on the species, from 1,38 to 3,98; from 1,28 to 1,52; from 2,00 to 304,00 times, respectively. With regard to the accumulation of copper in the body, the opposite trend is observed. In females, its concentration is 1,5–3,19 times higher. In the studied sample of animals, an increase in copper content was revealed in 44,83% of individuals and a decrease in cadmium in 44,82%.

Large amounts of fly ash and sewage sludge are produced annually in China. The treatment and disposal of such byproducts have become urgent problems that need to be solved. In order to achieve the possibility of realizing land applications for sewage sludge, fly ash and trimercapto-s-triazine trisodium salt (TMT) were used as immobilizing agents, and their passivation effects on four kinds of heavy metals (Cu, Ni, Pb, and Zn) were evaluated. The results showed that the resulting sewage sludge met Chinese standard GB/T23486-2009. When the addition was 10–20% fly ash or 0.4–0.6% TMT, the optimum immobilization effect was obtained. The synergistic passivation of 20% fly ash +0.5% TMT was superior to that of either fly ash or TMT alone. The addition of sewage sludge during the ryegrass growth process significantly increased the plant height, the number of tillers, the chlorophyll content, and the biomass of the ryegrass over the brown soil. The adverse effect of the heavy metals on the ryegrass growth could be alleviated by the passivation effect of fly ash and TMT. The immobilization performance of the fly ash was mainly due to the formation of precipitation and the ion exchange, while that of TMT was due to chelate precipitation.

This paper deals with the Reynoutria &times; bohemica and Reynoutria japonica under conditions of the Czech Republic. It evaluates the impact of soil, weather conditions and various terms of harvest (autumn, spring) on the yield, dry matter content, phytomass loss, ash content, and basic elements content change in plants. Heavy metals content was determined in soil where plants were grown and consequently in plants themselves. The average yield of dry matter at the fully closed stands of Reynoutria japonica were 9.06 t/ha in autumn, Reynoutria &times; bohemica from 13.23 to 21.41 t/ha, according to the site. The yield losses within the winter period were found on average 42% for Reynoutria japonica and 34% for Reynoutria &times; bohemica. The moisture decrease of Reynoutria japonica was found from 68% in the autumn to 24% in the spring, and of Reynoutria &times; bohemica from 67% to 23%, respectively. Decreased content of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, and magnesium in the knotweed phytomass was found during the latter (spring) harvest periods in comparison with the earlier harvest periods. Decreased elements content in phytomass during the latter harvest period (spring) increases the phytomass quality as a fuel from both aspects &ndash; technical and emissions generation. The ash content in plants varied according to the site, on average from 3.12% in Ruzyně to 4.6% in Chomutov. None of the heavy metals monitored in knotweed plants reached the maximum admissible values determined for the food or feed purposes in the Czech Republic. From the results of combustion experiments, it is evident that Reynoutria &times; bohemica is a good fuel. Energy sorrel shows the extreme CO concentration in flue gases in comparison with other monitored fuels. According to the ČSN EN 12809 (2001) standard it does not meet even the third class of requirements. On the contrary, knotweed and wood bark fulfill the requirements for the first class. The surprising fact is that both of these fuels show the lower level of CO emissions, than the wooden briquettes. Concentrations of nitrogen oxids are comparable with biofuels, except of wood, and probably are related to the nitrogen content in heating material.
