This study aims to fully describe the learning difficulties of students with low mathematical abilities in solving arithmatic division operations based on gender. This research is a descriptive qualtative research with research subjects consisting of 1 female student and 1 male student with low math ability in class IV-A SDN Bugih 1 Pamekasan with the test instrument for the comlpetion of the division count operations aninterviews. The results showed that on thr indicators of difficulty in understanding the concept, the results of the study learning difficulities in female subject (S1) and male subject (S2) in solving the division arithmetic operation, namely the two subjects did not know the concept of division as repeated subtraction. On the indicator of difficulty in applying the principle, the two subjects were unable to do the tiered division correctly because the wo principle of division to the long division. Whereas in the indicator of difficulty in solving verbal problems, the two subjects were unable to write down what wa known and what was asked of the story problem correclty.

The purposes of this research are 1) to describe the errors of thinking process of male student in solving group problems; 2) to describe the errors of thinking of female student in solving group problems. This research is an explorative research using a qualitative approach. Data collection is done by task-based interviews. The errors of thinking process based on indicators: fact errors, misconceptions, operating errors and principle errors in solving group problems. The data in this study are the results of interviews and group problem tests. The results of this research show that in fact errors, male subject experienced errors in interpreting the results obtained, whereas female students do not understand the symbols (H, #) and in the context of group symbols. In conceptual errors, the second subject is the same mistake, namely the error in explaining the group and the closed nature. Likewise, with operating errors, there is no significant difference in the second subject. In principle errors, the male subject does not associate the identity element obtained in the previous step in determining the inverse, while the female subject does not associate the set H and binary operations.   Penelitian ini bertujuan  untuk: 1) mendeskripsikan kesalahan proses berpikir mahasiswa laki-laki dalam memecahkan masalah grup; 2) mendeskripsikan kesalahan proses berpikir mahasiswa perempuan dalam memecahkan masalah grup. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksploratif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara berbasis tugas. Kesalahan proses berpikir berdasarkan indikator: kesalahan fakta, kesalahan konsep, kesalahan operasi dan kesalahan prinsip dalam memecahkan masalah grup.  Data dalam penelitian ini berupa hasil wawancara dan tes masalah grup. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada kesalahan fakta, subjek laki-laki mengalami kesalahan menginterpretasikan hasil yang didapat, sedangkan subjek perempuan tidak memahami simbol (H, #) dan mengalami kesalahan dalam menuliskan simbol grup. Pada kesalahan konsep, kedua subjek mengalami kesalahan yang sama yaitu kesalahan dalam menjelaskan grup dan sifat tertutup.  Demikian juga pada kesalahan operasi, tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan pada kedua subjek. Pada kesalahan prinsip, subjek laki-laki tidak mengkaitkan elemen identitas yang diperoleh di langkah sebelumnya dalam menentukan invers, sedangkan subjek perempuan tidak mengkaitkan himpunan H dan operasi biner.

<p class="Abstract">The counting rules is a topic in mathematics senior high school. In the learning process, teachers often find students who have difficulties in learning this topic. Knowing the characteristics of students' learning difficulties and analyzing the causes is important for the teacher, as an effort in trying to reflect the learning process and as a reference in constructing alternative learning solutions which appropriate to anticipate students’ learning obstacles. This study uses qualitative methods and involves 70 students of class XII as research subjects. The data collection techniques used in this study is diagnostic test instrument about learning difficulties in counting rules, observation, and interview. The data used to know the learning difficulties experienced by students, the causes of learning difficulties, and to develop alternative learning solutions. From the results of data analysis, the results of diagnostic tests researcher found some obstacles faced by students, such as students get confused in describing the definition, students difficulties in understanding the procedure of solving multiplication rules. Based on those problems, researcher analyzed the causes of these difficulties and make hypothetical learning trajectory as an alternative solution in counting rules learning.</p>

Geometri adalah bagian matematika yang sangat dekat dari siswa, karena hampir semua objek visual yang ada di sekitar siswa adalah objek geometri, tetapi tidak semua siswa menyukai pembelajaran yang menyertakan gambar, sehingga memungkinkan siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam belajar geometri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan kesulitan belajar siswa berdasarkan karakteristik Lerner dalam menyelesaikan pertanyaan geometri. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa dengan kepribadian wali yang mengalami kesulitan belajar di kelas IX A SMP N 30 Muaro Jambi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penulis sendiri, lembar tes klasifikasi kepribadian, lembar tes kesulitan belajar, dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan siswa dengan kepribadian wali yang mengalami kesulitan belajar, 100% mengalami kelainan persepsi visual, di mana siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menentukan seperti apa bangun datar pada masalah tersebut. 60% mengalami kesulitan mengenali dan memahami simbol, di mana siswa melihat simbol "//" sebagai simbol untuk kesesuaian. Serta 40% mengalami kesulitan dalam bahasa dan membaca, di mana siswa kesulitan dalam memahami pertanyaan yang diberikan.   Geometry is a very close mathematical part of the student, because almost all visual objects that exist around the students are objects of geometry, but not all students like learning that includes images, thus allowing students to have difficulty in learning geometry. The purpose of this research is to describe students' learning difficulties based on Lerner's characteristic in solving the geometry question. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. Research subjects were students with guardian personality who had difficulty studying in class IX A SMP N 30 Muaro Jambi. Instruments used in this study are the authors themselves, personality classification test sheets, learning difficulties test sheets, and interview guidelines. The results showed students with guardian personality who experienced learning difficulties, 100% experienced visual perception abnormalities, where students have difficulty in determining what kind of flat wake on the matter. 60% have difficulty recognizing and understanding symbols, where students see the symbol "//" as a symbol for conformity. As well as 40% have difficulty in language and reading, where students difficulty in understanding the given question.

This research is motivated by the discovery of teachers who do not compile test instruments according to the indicators and learning objectives, teachers have not been able to arrange instruments according to the level of difficulty, and the use of language according to the level of understanding of students. This study aims to improve the ability of teachers to compile test instruments through integrated self-assessment training activities. This research is in the form of school action research conducted on teachers of SDN 007 Pematang Ibul. The research subjects were 17 teachers. The data collection instrument used an observation sheet. The results showed that in the first cycle the teacher's ability to compile the test instrument was 71.78 which was a good criterion, then increased in the second cycle to 87.14 which reached very good criteria. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that through integrated self-assessment training can improve the ability of SDN 007 Pematang Ibul teachers in preparing test instruments.

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the effect of the application of blended learning on the learning outcomes of class X MIA students at SMA PGRI 2 Padang. This study used a pre-experimental design in the form of a One-Shot Case Study by taking research subjects by Purposive Sampling. The sample of this research was the students of class X MIA. This study used descriptive questions as a final test instrument. The data analysis technique used in this research was a t-test. Based on the data collection techniques and data analysis carried out, it was obtained that tcount = 1.81 and ttable = 1.68, because tcount > ttable, then reject H0 at a significant level of 0.05 so it can be concluded that there is an effect of applying blended learning on studensts’ learning outcomes of class X MIA at SMA PGRI 2 Padang. Keywords: Blended Learning, Learning Outcomes

AbstractThis study aims to describe the ability to find educative value in the short story of the Chef of the DamhuriMuhammad work. This study uses quantitative descriptive research. The subject of this study was the whole classX students of SMA 12 Buru teaching 2017-2018. This study uses the ability test instrument to find educativevalue in the short story. The results showed the highest score achieved by students as many as 5 researchsubjects namely a score of 80 out of 100 as the highest score, students who scored 70 as many as 14 students, ascore of 60 obtained by 1 student, and a score of 50 as the lowest score achieved by 2 subject students research.The ability to find educative values in the short story of the Cook by Damhuri Muhammad by students of class Xof Buru 12 High School has been successful even though it is not sufficient. This is based on the results of dataanalysis, namely the research subjects who obtained a score of 65 and above as many as 10 students or 76.923%and research subjects who obtained scores below 65 as many as 3 students or 23.077%. Thus the ability to findeducative values in the short story of the Cook by Damhuri Muhammad by class X students of SMA 12 Buruclassically has not been successful because only 76,923% obtained 65 and above.Keywords: Educative Value, short story, Short Story Cook

Abstrak Penelitian ini didasari atas banyaknya kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa dalam mengerjakan soal cerita matematika menyebabkan terjadinya kesalahan. Kesalahan siswa harus segera dipecahkan agar tidak terulang dan mempengaruhi hasil belajar. Pemecahan ini dapat dilakukan dengan cara mengetahui dimana letak kesalahan yang terjadi, jenis kesalahan yang dilakukan dan faktor penyebabnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif-kualitatif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis letak dan jenis kesalahan serta faktor yang menyebabkan kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa menggunakan tahapan pemecahan pemecahan masalah Polya. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan metode tes tulis dan wawancara. Tes tulis yang diberikan berupa soal cerita matematika pada materi sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel. Subjek penelitian yaitu 3 siswa dipilih dari 36 siswa XI IPA4 SMA Negeri 1 Cerme. Subjek penelitian dipilih berdasarkan banyaknya kesalahan yang dilakukan pada saat tes tulis, kemudian diwawancarai. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa dalam mengerjakan soal cerita dengan materi sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel, terjadi kesalahan pada masing-masing indikator dalam tahapan pemecahan masalah Polya, di antaranya (1) kesalahan dalam pemahaman soal, (2) kesalahan dalam perencanaan penyelesaian, (3) kesalahan dalam pelaksanaan rencana penyelesaian, dan (4) kesalahan dalam pemeriksaan kembali. Siswa melakukan kesalahan dalam bentuk kesalahan konsep, kesalahan prinsip, dan kesalahan operasi. Faktor penyebab kesalahan siswa yaitu tidak memahami makna soal, lemahnya pemahaman konsep, tidak fokus dalam pengerjaan, lingkungan dan cara belajar siswa. Dari letak, jenis dan faktor penyebab kesalahan yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini dapat digunakan oleh pendidik sebagai pertimbangan dalam merencanakan pembelajaran agar kesalahan serupa tidak terulang. Abstract This research is motivated by the number of difficulties students faced while solving mathematics story problem which causes errors. Student’s error needs to be solved immediately to not affecting the learning result. To solve them, we needs to identified location of the errors occur, types of mistakes are made, and what are the causes. This research use a qualitative-descriptive approach. This research aims to analyze the location, type of errors, and the causes using Polya’s problem-solving steps. To collect data, this research using written test and interview methods. The written test is in the form of mathematics story problem involving the linear equation of three variables. The research subjects were 3 of 36 students from class 11th Science 4 State Highschool of Cerme. Research subject is chosen based on the number of errors made during the written test then interviewed. The result of this research shows that in order to solve problems, errors occurs on each Polya’s problem-solving steps indicators, such as (1) errors in understanding the problem, (2) errors in devising a plan, (3) errors in carrying out the plan, and (4) errors in looking back. The type of errors made by students were concept error, principle error, and operation error. The factors are not understand the problem, low concept, not focus, cognitive factors, and their learning environment. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat prototipe instrumen tes dribbling futsal menggunakan teknologi mikrokontroler arduino yang terhubung dengan aplikasi android. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Subjek penelitian adalah Pemain Futsal SMA N 1, 2 dan 9 Sijunjung, Kecamatan Sijunjung, Kabupaten Sijunjung, Sumatera Barat. Untuk Validasi alat oleh tiga orang ahli yaitu ahli Evaluasi dan Tes Pengukuran, Ahli Futsal, dan Ahli IT. Pengembangan instrumen tes dribbling futsal ini dilakukan dengan uji kelompok kecil dengan sampel 15 orang putra dan uji kelompok besar dengan sampel 45 orang putra. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode validitas ahli dengan penilaian menggunakan instrumen angket dan metode test dan retest untuk uji reliabilitas alat yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan rumus r korelasional. Hasil dari penelitian ini Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan nilai validitas sebesar 91,33%, kategori “Sangat Baik/layak” dan uji reliabilitas kelompok kecil sebesar 0.986, dengan kategori “Tinggi” dan kelompok besar sebesar 0.947, dengan kategori “Tinggi”. Kemudian didapatkan nilai praktisitas sebesar 94% dan nilai efektivitas sebesar 90%, maka disimpulkan bahwa instrumen tes dribbling futsal menggunakan teknologi mikrokontroler arduino efektif  digunakan sebagai alat ukur untuk mengukur kecepatan dribbling futsal. Development of dribbling test instruments in futsal games using arduino microcontroller technology AbstractThis study aims to make a prototype of the futsal dribbling test instrument using Arduino microcontroller technology that is connected to an Android application. This research is a research and development (Research and Development). The research subjects were Futsal Players SMA N 1, 2 and 9 Sijunjung, Sijunjung District, Sijunjung Regency, West Sumatra. For tool validation by three experts, namely Evaluation and Measurement Tests, Futsal Experts, and IT Experts. The development of the futsal dribbling test instrument was carried out with a small group test with a sample of 15 men and a large group test with a sample of 45 men. The method used is the expert validity method with an assessment using a questionnaire instrument and the test and retest method to test the reliability of the tools analyzed using the correlation r formula. The results of this study obtained a validity value of 91.33%, the category "Very Good / feasible" and the small group reliability test was 0.986, with the "High" category and the large group was 0.947, with the "High" category. Then obtained a practical value of 94% and an effectiveness value of 90%. Thus, it can be concluded that the futsal dribbling test instrument using arduino microcontroller technology is good for use as a measuring tool to measure the speed of futsal dribbling.

AbstractThis study aims to describe students’ learning difficulties in the Indonesian language learning process at the senior high school. The research subjects were students of SMAN1 Klaten, SMAN 1 Karangnongko, and SMAN 1 Karangdowo. The data were collectedby means of tests and interviews. They were analyzed using qualitative and quantitativedescriptive techniques with the AnBuso computer program. The results of the dataanalysis show that the students have difficulties in: the language sub-competenciesof structure (61.07%) and vocabulary (52.6%); the language competencies of listening(41.88%), speaking (18.89%), reading (21.15%), and writing (20.02%); and the literarycompetency at the levels of information (45.69%), concepts (40.9%), perspectives (41.74%),and appreciation (47.1%). These show that the difficulties are evenly distributed on thevarious components of learning materials, both for language and literary competencies, sothat the solutions must be comprehensive including the selection of learning methods.Keywords: learning difficulties, competencies, Indonesian language

The low student learning outcomes are caused by students' thought that English is a difficult and boring subject so that students have difficulties understanding it. The purpose of this study is to analyze the types of learning difficulties experienced by students, the factors that affect learning difficulties, and to find out the efforts to overcome the difficulties of learning English in grade V of Elementary School. This research method uses descriptive qualitative. The research subjects were 22 grade V students and grade V teachers. The data collection procedures used were interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis used is a qualitative approach. The results of this study were 16 students experienced difficulty learning English, and also did not understand when the teacher delivered English materials. The factors that cause difficulty in learning English for grade V students are internal factors, including students are still less motivated and less interested in taking English lessons, while the external factor is that the teacher does not use teaching aids and the methods used are less varied and not innovative. Based on the above results, it is showed that grade V Elementary School students still have difficulty learning English lessons. Therefore, it can be concluded that students' learning concerns will have an impact on low learning outcomes
