This study aims to provide an overview of the design of the respiratory system practicum used in SMA / MA Tasikmalaya and the subject of this research is the Student Worksheet (LKS) of Human Respiratory System Practicum used in schools. Samples taken in this study were 6 LKS samples. The sampling technique by purposive sampling. This study uses instruments developed by the Lecturer TEAM and instruments based on the scoring table of the Diagram Vee component that was adapted by Novak & Gowin. Based on the instruments developed by the Lecturer TEAM, it shows that the results of the analysis of LKS practicum activities on human respiratory system material still found problems in terms of 1) conceptual, not in accordance with the demands of Basic Curriculum Competence 2) practical, the title / goal is not in accordance with the work steps and difficult to execute and not relevant to the object / phenomenon that appears 3) the construction of knowledge, the question has not led to the facts that arise, is not related to the interpretation of the data and the conclusions that are built do not describe the title / purpose of the practicum. Whereas based on the analysis results of the scoring instrument Diagram Vee shows that the components of focus questions, objects / events, concepts / theories / principles, transformation notes, and knowledge claims have not yet reached the maximum score so that the outstanding Practicum Worksheet has not supported Diagram Vee components to the maximum so it needs to be improved . Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran mengenai desain praktikum sistem pernapasan yang digunakan di SMA/MA Tasikmalaya dan subjek penelitian ini adalah Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) Praktikum Sistem Pernapasan Manusia yang digunakan di sekolah. Sampel yang diambil pada penelitian ini yaitu 6 sampel LKS. Teknik sampling dilakukan secara purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen yang dikembangkan oleh TIM Dosen dan instrumen berdasarkan tabel penskoran komponen Diagram Vee yang diadaptasi Novak & Gowin. Berdasarkan instrumen yang dikembangkan TIM Dosen menunjukkan bahwa hasil analisis kegiatan praktikum LKS pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia masih ditemukan permasalahan dalam hal 1) konseptual, belum sesuai dengan tuntutan Kompetensi Dasar kurikulum 2) praktikal, judul/tujuan belum sesuai langkah kerja dan sulit dieksekusi serta tidak relevan dengan objek/fenomena yang muncul 3) kontruksi pengetahuan, pertanyaan belum mengarahkan pada fakta yang muncul, tidak dihubungkan dengan interpretasi data serta kesimpulan yang dibangun belum menggambarkan  judul/tujuan praktikum. Sedangkan berdasarkan hasil analisis instrumen penskoran Diagram Vee menunjukkan bahwa komponen pertanyaan fokus, objek/peristiwa, konsep/teori/prinsip, catatan transformasi, dan klaim pengetahuan masih belum mencapai skor maksimal sehingga LKS Praktikum yang beredar belum menunjang komponen Diagram Vee dengan maksimal sehingga perlu ditingkatkan.

Abstrak: Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dalam mengerjakan soal olimpiade SMP bagi siswa kelas IX SMP N 8 Salatiga. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 4 siswa yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil tes dan wawancara diketahui semua subjek tidak memenuhi kelima tahap Krulik & Rudnick pada soal nomor 1. Pada langkah awal tahap membaca dan berfikir (read and think) subjek  telah melakukan kesalahan dalam memahami soal/masalah. Sedangkan untuk soal nomor 2 hanya 1 subjek yang tidak mampu melewati tahap kelima pada tahap teori Krulik dan Rudnick yaitu refleksi dan pengembangan (reflect and extend). Abstract:  This is a qualitative descriptive research. The purpose of this research is to know the ability of mathematics problem solving in doing Junior High Olympics for students of grade IX SMP N 8 Salatiga. The research subjects consist of 4 students selected by purposive sampling technique. Based on the results of tests and interviews are known that all subjects did not meet the five stages of Krulik & Rudnick in question number 1. In the first step of reading and thinking phase, the subject has made a mistake in understanding the problem. Meanwhile, in question number 2 only 1 subject who is not able to pass the fifth stage at the stage of Krulik and Rudnick theory, that is reflect and extend.

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya perbedaan Keterampilan Proces Sains (KPS) siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran inquiry training dan pembelajaran konvensional mengenai materi pokok elastisitas dan hukum Hooke di SMA. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah quasi-experiment dengan desain two groups pretest-posttest. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 5 Medan. Sampel diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling yang terdiri dari dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes dan observasi aktivitas KPS siswa. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan pengujian hipotesis uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan KPS yang signifikan antara penerapan menggunakan model pembelajaran inquiry training dibandingkan pembelajaran konvensional dengan nilai sig. 0,000 pada taraf signifikan 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil uji N-Gain Score dengan penerapan model pembelajaran inquiry training lebih tinggi dalam meningkatkan KPS siswa sebesar 0,70 dalam kategori tinggi dibandingkan KPS siswa dengan penerapan pembelajaran konvensional sebesar 0,59 dalam kategori sedang. Kata kunci: keterampilan proses sains; model pembelajaran inquiry training. ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the differences in Science Proses Skills (SPS) of students using inquiry training learning model and conventional learning about the subject matter of elasticity and Hooke’s law in High School. This type of research is a quasi-experimental with two groups of pretest-posttest design. The population of this research is all students of class XI MIPA in Public Senior High School 5 Medan. The sample was taken by a purposive sampling technique that consists of two groups, namely an experimental group and a control group. The data collected technique has been done by tests and observations activities SPS student. The data in this research was analyzed a hypothesis-testing t-test. The results showed significant differences in SPS between the application of using inquiry training learning models compared to conventional learning with the value of sig. was 0.000 at the significance of level 0.05. Based on the results of the N-Gain Score test with the application of the inquiry training learning model is higher in increasing SPS of the students by 0.70 in the high category compared to SPS of students with the application of conventional learning by 0.59 in the medium category. Keywords: science process skills; inquiry training learning model.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh OKK terhadap tatakrama kehidupan di kampus. Target khusus yang ingin dicapai adalah temuan baru tentang faktor-faktor penerap-an OKK yang berpengaruh secara langsung terhadap tatakrama mahasiswa dalam perkuliahan. Metode yang diterapkan adalah menggunakan rancangan survey. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa dan dosen yang mengajar mahasiswa angkatan 2013. Penentuan subjek penelitian dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket. Agar memenuhi validitas (curricular validity), angket yang disusun mengacu pada nilai-nilai saat OKK dan nilai budaya STIKOM. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) tidak ada perbedaan yang signi-fikan penerapan OKK yang telah dilakukan terhadap perilaku mahasiswa saat perkuliahan, (2) OKK tidak berpengaruh pada peningkatan tatakrama kehidupan mahasiswa saat perkuliahan, dan (3) faktor kegiatan OKK yang banyak memberikan pengaruh terhadap tatakarma kehidup-an mahasiswa saat perkuliahan adalah penerapan budaya Stikom. Saran untuk pelaksanaan penelitian yang akan datang sebaiknya (1) penentuan sampel antar kelompok sama atau men-dekati sama, (2) dilakukan pengukuran awal untuk mengetahui perbedaan sebelum dilakukan OKK dengan setelah dilakukan OKK, dan (3) penentuan sampel (subjek penelitian) sebaiknya tidak digunakan silih berganti artinya kalau suatu subjek sudah masuk sampel kelompok A maka tidak dijadikan sampel untuk kelompok B.Kata kunci: Soft skill, kehidupan kampus, tata krama kehidupan kampus.The Effect of Students’ Softskill Implementation Through OKK Towards College Life Etiquette (During Lecturing)AbstractThis study aimed to examine the effect of the OKK manners of life on campus. Specific targets to be achieved is the new findings about factors that affect the implementation OKK directly to the manners of students in lectures. The method adopted is using the survey design. The subjects were students and lecturers who teach students of 2013. Determining the subject of research by purposive sampling technique. The instrument used are questionnaires. In order to meet the validity (curricular validity), a questionnaire compiled refer to the current values and cultural values Stikom OKK. Research findings point that (1) there was no significant difference OKK the implementation that has been made to the behavior of students during lectures, (2) OKK had no effect on improving the manners of life of students during lectures, and (3) factors that many activities OKK manners influence on the lives of students during lectures is the implementation Stikom culture. Suggestions for implementation of future research should (1) determination of the sample between groups must be equal or close to equal, (2) The initial measurements were taken to determine the differences before OKK with after OKK, and (3) determination of the sample (the subject of research) should not be used interchangeably means that if a subject had entered the sample group A then not sampled for group B.Keywords: Soft skill, college life, manners of college life.

The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of listening murottal Quran to reduce insomnia level in student. The research subjects were chosen by purposive sampling technique. The subject of this research were 5 students who experienced insomnia and measured using insomnia severity index. This research using one group pretest-posttest design experiment.  Murottal Quran, Surah Ar-Rahman, was heard using MP3 player, with duration of 16.00 minutes for 8 days before bedtime. The results of data testing using Wilcoxon test find a significance level of 0.031 (p <0.05), pretest mean is 17.6, and posttest mean is 11.6. The results show that listening to murottal Quran is effective in reduced insomnia levels in students.

The aims of this study is to describe students’ mathematical communication ability in term of learning interest in learning online during the Covid-19. The approach of the research used qualitative descriptive with 11 students and 1 mathematics teacher at the eighth grade students as the subject of the research which taken by using purposive sampling technique. Questionnaire, test, and interview were used in collecting the data. The result of the research shows average of students’ mathematical communication ability 57.48 (average category) and average of students’ learning interest is 70.36 (good category). Furthermore, the result of the research shows students’ learning interest is high then students’ mathematical communication ability is high, students’ learning interest is average then students’ mathematical communication ability is average, students’ learning interest is low then students’ mathematical communication ability is low.

The purpose of this study is known the picture of user satisfaction (user institution) for the quality of Poltekkes Kemenkes Bengkulu graduates. This is the kind exploratory and descritive research  that are qualitative and quantitative. Unit analysis of research data is user institution where Poltekkes kemenkes Bengkulu graduates working. While the subject of study is the leadher-ship of the institution / head room in which graduate work and their partner work at the institute. Subjects in this study set by purposive sampling technique followed by a snow ball sampling tech-nique. Data was collected through structured interviews and filling out the questionnaire guidelines. Interviews were conducted to the leadership of institutions and co-workers. Data from Pol-tekkes Kemenkes Bengkulu graduates conducted using a questionnaire. The analysis showed that more than half (63.6%), users opinion said that the  quality of graduates were good, the majority (72.7%) chairman and co-workers are satisfied with the performance of Poltekkes Kemenkes Bengkulu graduates, and 23.4% of graduates find a job < 3 months after graduation and 23.4% of graduates find job after waiting 3-6 months. Poltekkes Kemenkes Bengkulu  should prepare the studends to have a competitive advantage began the process of selection and education to produce qualifiedgraduates.

This research aims to develop devices based science learning biology teaching model in an effort to teach the meaning of science and foster moral sensitivity on the subject of human respiratory system. This study was classified as research development , ie developing syllabus , lesson plans , worksheets , BAS , and THB . Follow the development of the design of the 4- D models of Thiagarajan (1974 ) followed by the implementation phase of learning in the classroom using a pretest - posttest design. Device developed then validated by experts and tested first at 10 eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Tarik. The results showed the validity of the RPP , BAS , and worksheets categorized very well , and the validity of test questions categorized invalid and valid enough. Readability level device includes worksheets for BAS and 77,2 % to the category of material is too easy , and a description of the difficulties include BAS and LKS was 22,1 % with a fairly easy category . The success of RPP during three meetings very well categorized ; activity levels of students categorized quite active ; better student learning outcomes tests of cognitive abilities , processes , psychomotor and moral sensitivity tests considered complete . Barriers in the PBM especially low student motivation in participating in learning .Based on the analysis of data, it can be concluded that the biology-based science learning learning model of meaning on the subject of the human respiratory system is able to teach science and junior high school students growing moral sensitivity. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran IPA Biologi berbasis model pembelajaran pemaknaan sebagai upaya mengajarkan IPA dan menumbuhkan sensitivitas moral pada pokok bahasan Sistem Pernapasan Manusia. Penelitian initergolong penelitian pengembangan, yaitu mengembangkan Silabus, RPP, LKS, BAS, dan THB. Pengembangan perangkat mengikuti rancangan 4-D  model dari Thiagarajan (1974) dilanjutkan dengan tahap pelaksanaan pembelajaran di kelas menggunakan rancangan pretest-posttest design. Perangkat yang dikembangkan kemudian divalidasi oleh pakar dan diuji coba I pada 10 siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Tarik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan validitas RPP, BAS, dan LKS berkategori baik; dan validitas soal tes berkategori valid. Tingkat keterbacaan perangkat meliputi BAS dan LKS sebesar 77,2% dengan kategori materi mudah; dan deskripsi kesulitan perangkat meliputi BAS dan LKS sebesar 22,1% dengan kategori tidak sulit. Keterlaksanaan RPP selama tiga kali pertemuan berkategori sangat baik; tingkat aktivitas siswa berkategori cukup aktif; hasil tes belajar siswa baik kemampuan kognitif, proses, psikomotor dan tes sensitivitas moral berhasil melampaui KKM yang ditetapkan. Hambatan dalam  PBM terutama siswa belum terbiasa dengan model pembelajaran pemaknaan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dapat disimpulkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran IPA Biologi berbasis model pembelajaran pemaknaan pada  pokok bahasan sistem pernapasan manusia efektif membelajarkan IPA dan menumbuhkan sensitivitas moral siswa SMP.

The purpose of this study is to find out how to adjust to adolescents who have to face the divorce of their parents, find out the impact of parental divorce for adolescents, and also understand how the psychological dynamics of the research subjects. The subjects in this study were two adolescents who fulfilled the predetermined research subject criteria, namely facing divorce from parents and taken with a purposive sampling technique. This study uses a qualitative phenomenological method. The results of this study indicate that all research subjects develop poor relationships outside the home, difficulty in getting along due to hampered social adjustment. Divorce of parents also raises a lot of anxiety and frustration in adolescents and reduce academic achievement in school. In addition, divorce that occurs in parents also makes children build feelings of being hurt, neglected, and betrayed by their parents. However, there seems to be a quite striking difference regarding the development of adjustment that occurs in each subject. One subject showed a better adjustment. This condition seems influenced by his ability to apply coping stress appropriately, namely trying to accept the divorce of parents and not thinking about the divorce (emotional focused coping). In addition, the parents of the subject also did not show conflict in front of their children despite the divorce. Keywords: Adjusment, Divorce of Parent, Adults   Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan bagaimana penyesuaian diri pada remaja yang harus menghadapi perceraian orang tuanya, mengetahui dampak dari perceraian orang tua bagi remaja, dan juga memahami bagaimana dinamika psikologis dari para subjek penelitian. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah dua remaja yang memenuhi kriteria subjek penelitian yang telah ditentukan yaitu menghadapi perceraian orang tua dan diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif fenomenologi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa seluruh subjek penelitian mengembangkan hubungan yang buruk di luar rumah, kesulitan bergaul karena penyesuaian sosial yang terhambat. Perceraian orang tua juga memunculkan banyak kecemasan dan frustrasi pada diri remaja serta menurunkan prestasi akademik di sekolah. Selain itu, Perceraian yang terjadi pada orang tua juga membuat anak membangun perasaan telah disakiti, diabaikan, dan dikhianati oleh orang tua mereka. Namun demikian, tampak adanya perbedaan yang cukup mencolok mengenai perkembangan penyesuaian diri yang terjadi pada tiap subjek. Salah satu subjek memperlihatkan adanya penyesuaian diri yang lebih baik. Kondisi tersebut tampaknya dipengaruhi oleh kemampuannya menerapkan coping stress yang tepat yaitu berusaha menerima perceraian orang tua dan tidak memikirkan perceraian tersebut (emotional focused coping). Selain itu, kedua orang tua subjek tersebut juga tidak memperlihatkan konflik di hadapan anak mereka meskipun telah terjadi perceraian.   Kata Kunci: Penyesuaian Diri, Perceraian Orang tua, Remaja.

This research was about Monitor Comprehension Strategy (MCS) to the reading comprehension of students in class 8 SMPN 9 Batam in academic year 2015/2016. The purpose of this study was to find the influence of strategy on reading comprehension of students. To get the purpose of the study, researchers conducted research experiments. 5QAAnumber of students is 210. Researchers used a purposive sampling technique to determine the grade of research. The subject was VIII.4 and VIII.7 classes totaling 30 students each class. Researchers conduct research in two classes. The first class (VIII.4) as experimental class and the second class (VIII.7) as the control class. In analyzing the data researchers used quantitative calculation to find the result. Data were analyzed showed significant differences before getting treatment for an average of 67.50 and 67.17 for the control class. The average score obtained student after getting treatment in the experimental class are 82.50 and 78.50. Based on these result, the use of Monitor comprehension strategy gives significant influence on student’s reading comprehension. Keywords: students’ reading comprehension, monitor comprehension strategy

This research aims to analyze the ability of mathematical communicationin problem solving who had reflective cognitive style’s, and impulsive cognitive style’s in the first grade of SMP Negeri 1 Sumberrejo on mathematical written, drawing mathematically, and mathematical expression aspect’s. The research is a qualitative research with subjects in this research were eight students of class VII C SMP Negeri 1 Sumberrejo which consisting of four students with reflective cognitive style’s, four student with impulsive cognitive style’s. The subject in this research were taken by using purposive sampling technique. Data was collected by the results of written tests and interviews. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion.The validity of the data usetime triangulation that compared data of the first task and interview with the second task and interview. The results showed that: (1) students with reflective cognitive styles: the mathematical written ability are on the fourth level, drawing mathematically are on the third level, and mathematical expression are on the third level, (2) students with impulsive cognitive styles: the mathematical written ability are on the third level, drawing mathematically are on the second level, and mathematical expression are on the second level.   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dengan kategori gaya kognitif yakni reflective, dan impulsive, kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Sumberrejo pada aspek menulis matematis, menggambar secara matematis, dan ekspresi matematis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian delapan siswa kelas VII C SMP Negeri 1 Sumberrejo yang terdiri dari empat siswa dengan gaya kognitif reflective, empat siswa dengan gaya kognitif impulsive. Penentuan subjek penelitian menggunakan purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes tertulis dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi.Validitas data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi waktu yang membandingkan antara data tertulis dan wawancara I dengan data tertulis dan wawancara II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis untuk siswa gaya kognitif reflective meliputi: kemampuan menulis matematis berada pada tingkat 4, kemampuan menggambar secara matematis berada pada tingkat 3, dan kemampuan ekspresi matematis berada pada tingkat 3. Kemampuan komunikasi matematis untuk siswa dengan gaya kognitif impulsive meliputi: kemampuan menulis matematis berada pada tingkat 4, kemampuan menggambar secara matematis berada pada tingkat 2, dan kemampuan ekspresi matematis berada pada tingkat 2.
