This study deals with the local names of floras and faunas living in the area of Danau Laut Mati Tasi Ana’ in Landu Sub District of Rote Regency. As language and physical nature are two inseparable entities, this study emphasizes that maintaining a language, to some extent, is equal to maintaining the existence of nature and vice versa. Documenting the names of floras and faunas in Landu Dialect of Rote Language and describing their meaning are two main purposes of this study. The underlying principle of it is to maintain the languge from being endangered. The main question that drives this study is to what semantic domain do the local names of floras and faunas belong to? In order to obtain data a Field observation was conducted. The photos of floras and faunas were taken. A native speaker of Landu dialect of Roti Languge who lives nearby the Lake wa consulted in order to get the local names of the floras and faunas. The data analysis follows the model presented by Suweta (2013). The data show that the floras and faunas living in the area of Danau Laut Mati Tasi Ana’ belong to four semantic domains i.e the domain of food for human being, food for animal, herb, and building material.

This is a qualitative assistential convergent study. Its main objective is to understand the therapeutic itinerary of adolescents with type 1 mellitus diabetes, as well as that of their families. The sample was composed of adolescents, between 15 and 25 years old, involved with a health institution in Florianópolis through the Health Care model that includes professional, family, and popular subsystems. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews and field observation of 20 people (relatives and adolescents with diabetes). The data analysis included data codification and categorization. Two categories were constructed: Decisions and negotiations about health, care and treatment; and the journey through the three subsystems of health care. The study permitted to understand that the treatment and care within the professional subsystem are not the only ones available. There are different practices in health performed from the evaluation each family makes, of what they believe adequate for their adolescent with diabetes.

This qualitative study aimed to find the values and principles steering health professionals' practice, in order to reach the values guiding humanization. The study took place between October and November 2005, when 17 professionals from a multiprofessional team at a hospital in the South of Brazil were interviewed in three different samples. The methodology used for comparative data analysis and interpretation was based on Grounded Theory, resulting in the creation of a theoretical model, guided by "humanizing care through the valuation of the human being". Data demonstrated that new competencies can be developed, which are capable of provoking a resignification of values and principles guiding humanization, with a view to reaching personal/professional accomplishments through work, allying technical and human skills in professional practice and experiencing humanized care.

<p>This study aims to find out the equivalence of English Modal Auxiliaries into Indonesian. The main question of the study is how the translator renders English modal auxiliaries into Indonesian. Since English modal auxiliaries are different from Indonesian modal auxiliaries, it may lead to the problems of rendering and understanding English modal auxiliaries for Indonesian novice translator. The Translator must be able to communicate these English modal auxiliaries into Indonesia in natural way or translation The method employed in this study is a qualitatitve descriptive method to describe and explain the equivalence English modal auxiliaries into Indonesian. Data Analysis is done through 3 steps based on Miles and Huberman’s Interactive Model. After analyzing the data, it was found that English modal auxiliaries consisting of could, may, will, can, should, would, shall, must, might, and used to were translated into different words according to the contexts. In addition, modal auxiliaries are sometimes not translated depending on the context. <br /> <br />Key Words : English modal auxiliaries, translation, Indonesian</p>

This research is aimed to know how the Bahoela and Today SendratariShow that will be held and the way of the event management from the beginninguntil the end is. In the discussion of this research, the researcher used relatedtheory to the topic of writing, such as theory of show, theory of sendratari andtheory of management. The research methodology used in this research wasdescriptive qualitative. To complete the data in this research, the researcherconducted a field observation, videos, interviewing and documentation. Thepopulation in this research was the whole involved committee, the performers andthe audiences. After all the data were collected, they were analysed then toanswer all the researcher’s questions. The data analysis was done by usingqualitative data technique which was described in phases in writing form. Afterthe analysis was done, it was found that the event management in order to makethe event run well, it was started form planning, determining the structure,preparing, conducting, making a responsibility report, evaluating the result,effects, redeveloping/replanning and the show presented music, drama and dancewhich told about occurrences in Bahoela Era and Today.

Southern Garut is one of the potential tourist attractions in the Garut region. On the way to southern Garut, tourists will be able to enjoy wonderful sceneries, such as the mountain, waterfall, and beach. The local government supports the tourism by fixing the route to this southern area. Nevertheless, it is not a well-known area so that it rarely becomes a destination of the tourists.One effort to introduce Southern Garut to Javanese urban society is through the creation of a coffee table book design (print book and e-book). This book will reveal the sides of Southern Garut rarely visited by the Javanese urban society. This book may become a representation of Southern Garut so that the target audience can see its beauty, and in the end they would decide to make it their destination. Design created is based on the concept derived from the data analysis collected through field observation, structured & unstructured interviews, and questionnaires to 100 respondents. The literature study was also used to support the data obtained from the field. The photographs in this book are the chief medium, which will show the pictures of Southern Garut landscape. This book is meant to become a means of information for those who have not yet enjoyed the beauty of Southern Garut. Keywords: coffee-table book; southern Garut; tourism

Early childhood education is now an obligation to prepare children for further education. Education in primary schools has levels that must be taken first with the aim that the child is ready to attend lessons first, such as education in kindergarten and early childhood education. This study aims to look at human freedom in undergoing early childhood education and the values contained in education. The theory of freedom is used to examine the harmony between the spirit of preparing for education with the pure value of human freedom, so that it can be said that early childhood education is a freedom. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data analysis was carried out in a holistic manner to achieve an exploration of the theory of freedom contained in early childhood education. The results of this study prove that early childhood education can be said that the implementation of freedom will support the true free human being, that is, free from ignorance and backwardness.

AbstrakDalam rangka mewujudkan tujuan pendidikan nasional, pihak penyelenggara pendidikan seharusnya tidak hanya memfokuskan perhatian pada hal-hal yang sifatnya fisik saja tetapi lebih daripada itu perlu ada perhatian yang lebih terhadap keteladanan yang merupakan hasil dari pemberian stimulus dan respon terhadap perilaku dosen. Metode yang digunakan penulis adalah metode analisis data deduktif dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa keteladanan dosen sangat berperan dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan perilaku belajar mahasiswa. Kesimpulan tersebut diperoleh dari menganalisa konsep keteladanan dalam teori belajar behaviouristik dengan cara mengkorelasikannya dengan kajian tentang pemberian model atau contoh dari pendidik sehingga dapat mempengaruhi motif dan perilaku mahasiswa dalam belajar.Kata kunci:      Keteladanan Pendidik, Perilaku Belajar Mahasiswa. AbstractIn order to realize the goals of national education, the organizers of education should not only focus on matters of a physical nature but more than that there needs to be more attention to the example that is the result of providing stimulus and response to the behavior of lecturers. The method used by the author is a method of deductive data analysis with a type of descriptive qualitative research. The results of the study stated that lecturer exemplary was very instrumental in increasing student motivation and learning behavior. The conclusion was obtained from analyzing the concept of exemplary in behaviouristic learning theory by correlating it with the study of giving models or examples from educators so that they can influence students' motives and behavior in learning.Keywords:        Exemplary Educator, Student Learning Behavior

This Research aim at finding nouns related to water in Balinese langage, particulary lexicon that belong to entity of human, flora, and fauna. Lexicon with noun category are analyzed using Natural Semantics Metalanguage (NSM). The data in form of oral speech spoken by native speaker of Balinese were collected from two regency, Buleleng and Klungkung. The method used to collect data is the observing method and skill method. Data analyzed by identity and distributional method. The result of data analysis is presented by using formal and informal method. The result shows that the semantic structure of noun related to water portray various structure. There are 13 nouns related to the water from three entity of human, flora, and fauna, i.e peluh, enceh, téngés, yéh cunguh, poos, tétéh, yéh mata, yéh nyonyo and banyeh. these nouns are compared to semantic prime of SOMETHING-THING which has polysemy meaning with semantic prime of PEOPLE. These nouns affect their entities positively and negatively.

ABSTRACT Education comes from the word learn which means to train and shape someone to be better. Education is important for every human being for the provision of advancing the level of welfare. This study aims to determine the effect of cooperative learning type make a match students of SMK COKROAMINOTO KOTAMUBAGU. The method in this research is pretest-posttest experimental class. The number of respondents in this study was 27 students who were selected using a total sampling technique. The results of data analysis using the normality statistical test of the Test whit a level of trust (α = 0.05) obtained a probability value = 0.000. From the results of statistical tests, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of cooperative learning type make a match for students of SMK COKROAMINOTO KOTAMUBAGU.   Keywords: Cooperative learning model make a match type
