Religious education is one pillar in human life. This article aims to determine the values of religious education contained in literary works, one of which is a novel. Novels are literary works that attract the readers’ attentions the most because of the plot. Many modern novels containing the values of religious education can be imitated. The RentangKisah by Gita Savitri Devi and Doriyaki by AndoriAndriani are modern novels which contain the values of religious education. These can be seen in the life stories of both. Different family life and social environment make these two novels have different religious education values in their stories. This study is a qualitative descriptive study. The data were collected by taking a note the excerpts of Gita and Dori which contain religious education values. This study aims to determine the values of religious education in the RentangKisah and Doriyaki novels. The results of this study are the values of religious education shown by Gita and Dori.

Abstract: Literature is a work that describes the problems of life. Literature in describing human life is inseparable from human and humanitarian problems. The problems in human life are inseparable from the lives of its author and readers, so literature is an effective means of translating the inner world of human beings. Literary works are basically the embodiment of the lives of writers' observations of their surrounding lives. Aside from being entertainment, literary works are also a means conveying the ideas and thoughts in terms of culture, social, and even religion. In literature there are constituent elements, namely themes, mandates, figures, characrers, and languages which are all packaged in aesthetic and imaginative forms. These elements contain ideas related to, among others, religious values. Religious values that are able to color the author's creativity, aesthetics, and imagination include the values of faith, scientific, moral, and social values. These values are the basic ones that form the main foothold in the world of Islamic religious education. This proves that literary works can be a means of transforming written and implied values of life in addition to contributing to the readers and the connoisseurs of literature.Keywords: Educational values, literary values, character

This study discussed  the psychological condition  of STIQ Amuntai students in learning Arabic and the factors that  affect the psychological condition of STIQ Amuntai students in learning Arabic. This study aimed  to determine the psychological condition of students of the Al-Quran College of Science in learning Arabic, both students with  religious education background such as Aliyah/Islamic boarding schools and students with public schools background such as high schools, vocational schools. This study also  discussed the factors that  influenced  the psychological condition of students during learning  Arabic. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The  data  were collected by  observation, interviews, and documentation. The process of data analysis is by examining all observed data from  related to Arabic learning, checking the validity of the findings by author participation. The conclusion from  this study can be argued that the psychological condition of STIQ Amuntai students in learning Arabic was  not good, they were less enthusiastic and confused when learning Arabic. It is due to several factors, namely:  diverse school backgrounds and lack  insights about Arabic such as a lack of management of Arabic learning materials. Beside that they were  faced with various other subject matter and the obligation to memorize al-Quran, thus the interest and enthusiasm gradually diminished. The  lecturer background  is in accordance with their education and the syllabus is in line  with  the campus syllabus.  The  teaching methods were not suitable for students abilities. Campus environment that did not  use Arabic both from superiors and students. There were inadequate facilities and infrastructure, such as language laboratories that were not used according to their function.

Islamic religious education is needed to shape the religious character of students into better people. This study aims to describe and explain the existence of Islamic education activities through religious characters. This research is included in a qualitative descriptive study because this study describes the process of forming the religious character of students through religious learning activities carried out at SMK Darussalam Karangpucung. The data analysis technique in this study includes several stages, namely a) data reduction, namely collecting and grouping data, b) presenting data, this activity describes and explains data, and c) concluding, in this activity, namely drawing conclusions after reducing and presenting data. The results of this study are finding several implementations of the formation of students 'religious character through several religious activities, including a) praying before and after learning, reading Asmaul Husna and Juz' Amma, b) Lecture 10 minutes, c) playing infaq, d) sunnah prayers, e) compulsory prayers (noon prayers), f) healthy Fridays, clean Fridays, Taqwa Fridays, and Literacy Fridays, and g) saying greetings when meeting residents of SMK Darussalam Karangpucung ( Teachers, friends, administration and so on).

The purpose of this study to describe and reveal the comparation of the independence of female characters in Pramoedya Ananta Toer’s Bumi Manusia and in Bertolt Brecht’s Mutter Courage und Ihre Kinder. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using the comparative literature method. This research will describe and comprehend the comparison of independent female characters in the Pramudya Ananta Toer’s Bumi Manusia and in Brecht’s Mutter Courage und Ihre Kinder by Bertolt Brecht. The results showed that from the comparison of two independent female character in two literary works, namely novel Bumi Manusia and drama Mutter Courage und Ihre Kinder, it can be concluded that there are many similarities of the two independent female characters despite the difference. Equation (affinity) also showed that the two works were created by different authors are also mutually influence. Drama Mutter Courage und Ihre Kinder by Bertolt Brecht created in 1938 possibly affect Bumi Manusia novel created by Pramoedya Ananta Toer in 1975. Moreover, both authors are communist and they created the two literary works while in exile.

Da'wah has a very large function and role in all aspects of human life. Da'wah in the development of Islamic society as a form of da'wah bilhal with processes and activities that lead to the welfare of the community. Da'wah seeks to raise awareness of bad behaviour and instill charity ma'ruf nahi munkar in society. One of the applications of da'wah in the development of Islamic society through an Underground Tasawuf community. In fact, there are not many preachers or religious experts who are capable of being present among punk and street children. In addition, preaching is not enough to only teach religious education, but also economic and social empowerment so that punk and street children can emigrate totally. Therefore, the type of research used is field research with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data sourced from primary data and secondary data. The result of this research is that there is a significant change in punk and street children after being educated through the Underground Tasawuf community.

AbstrakFungsi karya sastra untuk memberikan pembelajaran kepada pembaca. Salah satu nilai pembelajaran dalam novel adalah nilai religius. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan aspek akidah dan syariat dalam novel I am Sarahza karya Hanum Salsabiela dan Rangga Almahendra. Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini menggunakan dialog dalam novel sebagai sumber data. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan pragmatik yang berguna untuk meninjau kegunaan karya sastra itu sendiri bagi pembaca atau masyarakat. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik baca dan catat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan empat aspek nilai akidah dalam novel tersebut, yakni ilahiyat, nubuwat, ruhaniyat, dan sam’iyat. Selain itu, terdapat aspek nilai syariat, yakni (1) ibadah mahdhah meliputi melaksanakan salat, puasa dan haji; (2) ibadah ghoiru mahdhah meliputi menuntut ilmu di luar negeri, berdakwah dengan memanfaatkan media film, dan melaksanakan nazar, yaitu berdzikir dan berdoa; dan  (3) muamalah meliputi kampanye calon presiden, melaksanakan pernikahan, menulis novel, berwirausaha, berbisnis dalam perancangan film, dan memberi nama pada keturunan.Kata kunci: sastra, novel, akidah, syariatAbstractThe function of literary works is to provide learning to the readers. One of the values of learning in novels is religious value. This study aims to describe the aspects of aqidah and sharia in the novel I am Sarahza by Hanum Salsabiela and Rangga Almahendra. This qualitative descriptive study uses dialogue in the novel as a source of data. This study uses a pragmatic approach that is useful for reviewing the use of literary works themselves for the reader or the public. Data collection is done through reading and note taking techniques. The results showed four aspects of the aqidah in the novel, namely divine, prophecy, ruhaniyat and sam'iyat. In addition, there are aspects of sharia values, namely (1) Mahdhah worship includes performing prayers, fasting and pilgrimage; (2) Ghoiru Mahdhah worship includes studying abroad, preaching by utilizing film media, and carrying out vows, namely dhikr and prayer; and (3) muamalah includes campaigning for presidential candidates, carrying out marriages, writing novels, entrepreneurship, doing business in film design, and giving names to offspring.Keywords: literature, novels, aqidah, syariah

Islamic religious education is one of the main components in shaping the character and personality of the nation. In this digital era 4.0 where particular communication has become universal, Islamic religious education must be able to become a spirit that directs technology so that it is always useful in human life. This study aims to find ways to integrate Islamic religious education with science and technology that can improve the character building of the nation. The research methodology used in this study is a qualitative descriptive research method that describes the current conditions of Islamic religious education learning and its relation to the nation's character building. The result of this research is that Islamic religious education should not be monolithic but must be integrated with non-religious subjects as well as science and technology so that today's young generation are willing and interested in studying religion well and Islamic religious education can be of value. which colors every skill and profession of Indonesian citizens, so that the morals and morals of the nation develop well according to the example of the Prophet Muhammad and aspired to by the state.

Karya sastra sebagai tiruan realitas kehidupan manusia terepresentasi dalam novel Calabai karya Pepi Al-Bayqunie. Novel ini berlatar belakang kehidupan masyarakat Bugis di Sulawesi Selatan. Penelitian ini membahas tentang performativitas queer dalam novel Calabai melalui queer theory Judith Butler.Menurut Butler, performativitas adalah kondisi alamiah bagi manusia dalam menampilkan tubuhnya (fisik). Bahasan mengenai jenis kelamin (sex), gender, dan orientasi seksual adalah konstruksi sosial yang dapat bersifat cair, tidak alamiah, dan labil.Performativitas queer dalam narasi pengarang novel Calabai ditandai sebagai penampilan yang alamiah dan ditampilkan berulang-ulang oleh tokoh-tokoh cerita yang dianggap queer, yaitu calabai dan bissu. Bissu dikonstruksi oleh budaya sebagai gender ”bukan gender”dalam lingkungan sosialnya. Melalui narasi novel ini, masyarakat Bugis memiliki dan mengakui adanya gender kelima (bissu) dalam kebudayaan mereka. Narasi dalam novel Calabai mengungkapkan penampilan alamiah bissu yang terus diulang melalui diskursif masyarakat sekian lama, sehingga bissu terkonstruksi dalam kebudayaan Bugis sebagai gender queer.   Literary works is an imitation of the reality of human life is represented in Calabai by Pepi Al-Bayqunie. This novel takes the setting of Buginese community lifein South Sulawesi. This research discusses the queer performativity in novel Calabai through queer theory from Judith Butler. According to Butler, performativity is a natural condition for man in displaying his (physical) body. Discussion about sex, gender, and sexual orientation is a social construct that can be fluid, unnatural, and unstable. Performativity queer in Calabai's narratives is characterized as a natural appearance and repeatedly displayed by the characters of the story considered queer, calabai and bissu. Bissu was constructed by culture as gender "not gender" in its social environment. Through its narratives, Buginese society owns and recognizes the existence bissu as the fifth genderin their culture. Its narratives reveal the natural appearance of bissu which has been repeated over the discursive society for so long that bissu was constructed in Buginese culture as a gender queer.

The outbreak of the Covid-19 virus has had an impact not only on the decline of the people's economy but also on the education system in Indonesia. As a result, the learning process is shifted to online learning. The application of online learning is inseparable from various problems, not only concerning facilities and infrastructure but also regarding the goals of education itself. The purpose of this study was to determine the problems of the application of online learning, especially in the affective and psychomotor domains. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Sources of data obtained through interviews with research subjects Islamic religious education teachers at Islamic Senior High School Miftahul Ulum Opo-Opo Krejengan, Probolinggo. The results obtained indicate that the problems in the application of online learning in the affective and psychomotor domains concern student learning interests, the value of honesty and a sense of student responsibility, and student discipline. Meanwhile, in the psychomotor realm, the problem found is related to the implementation of teacher practice or assessment of student skills
