The community service undertaken aims to provide training to the reseacher in Province of Banten about the importance of producing quality scientific papers. Specifically, this training  provides  the  opportunity  for  participants  to  practice  directly  how  to  write  scientific  papers using Mendeley software for reference used in the paper. Mendeley is a computer and web program developed by Elsevier to manage and share research papers, search for research data, and work together online. Posts made with Microsoft Word, Open Office or LaTex can be linked to Mendeley software so that citations and reference lists (bibliography) can be arranged automatically. The activities carried out involve the reseacher  In province of banten. The response from the participants is positive which can be  seen from their active participation during the activity. They also find the training really useful to help them become more productive teachers by writing more scientific papers using Mendeley. Abstrak Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan ke peneliti di Provinsi Banten akan pentingnya menghasilkan karya tulis ilmiah yang berkualitas. Secara spesifik, pelatihan ini memberikan kesempatan ke para peserta untuk praktik langsung bagaimana menulis karya ilmiah dengan menggunakan software Mendeley untuk referensi rujukan yang digunakan dalam karya tulis. Mandeley merupakan program komputer dan web yang dikembangkan Elsevier untuk mengelola dan berbagi penelitian, mencari data penelitian, dan bekerjasama secara daring. Tulisan yang dibuat dengan  Microsoft Word, Open Office atau LaTex bisa dihubungkan dengan software Mendeley sehingga sitasi dan daftar referensi (bibliography) bisa disusun secara otomatis.  Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan diikuti oleh para peneliti di Provinsi Banten.  Peserta  merespon  kegiatan  ini  dengan  sangat  positif  yang  bisa  dilihat dari keaktifan mereka selama kegiatan berlangsung. Lebih jauh mereka merasa pelatihan sangat berguna dalam membantu mereka menjadi peneliti yang lebih produktif untuk menulis lebih  banyak karya ilmiah dengan menggunakan aplikasi Mendeley. The community service undertaken aims to provide training to the teachers at Handayani Senior High School about the importance of producing quality scientific papers. Specifically, this training provides the opportunity for participants to practice directly how to write scientific papers using Mendeley software for reference used in the paper. Mendeley is a computer and web program developed by Elsevier to manage and share research papers, search for research data, and work together online. Posts made with Microsoft Word, Open Office or LaTex can be linked to Mendeley software so that citations and reference lists (bibliography) can be arranged automatically. To achieve the goals and targets of this community service activity (PPM), the implementers use the lecture, discussion and practicum methods so that the trainees can easily understand the material provided in the training. The activities carried out involve the teachers at Handayani Pekanbaru Senior High School as participants. The response from the participants is positive which can be seen from their active participation during the activity. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan diikuti oleh para guru di SMA Handayani Pekanbaru. Peserta merespon kegiatan ini dengan sangat positif yang bisa dilihat dari keaktifan mereka selama kegiatan berlangsung. Lebih jauh mereka merasa pelatihan sangat berguna dalam membantu mereka menjadi guru yang lebih produktif untuk menulis lebih banyak karya ilmiah menggunakan aplikasi Mendeley.

Kewajiban untuk menulis karya ilmiah bagi guru mendorong pentingnya penguasaan reference management software agar kualitas sitasi dan daftar rujukan dalam karya ilmiah sesuai dengan format yang diinginkan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi guru SMKN 6 Malang tentang reference management software Zotero dan EndNote. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan selama dua hari. Selain itu, dilakukan juga survey tentang persepsi pelatihan tentang reference management software dan operasionalnya sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan. Selain itu, survey juga berisikan tentang persepsi peserta pelatihan terhadap penyampaian materi pelatihan. Dari hasil survey, diketahui mayoritas peserta pelatihan belum memahami reference management software dan pengoperasiannya. Setelah pelatihan, mayoritas peserta pelatihan berpersepsi bahwa Zotero lebih mudah untuk digunakan dibandingkan dengan End-Note. Mayoritas peserta pelatihan berpersepsi bahwa kedua reference management software yang diajarkan, baik Zotero maupun End-Note, mudah untuk digunakan dalam menulis sitasi dan daftar pustaka. Hasil survey juga menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas peserta pelatihan menyatakan tingkat penguasaan materi baik dan cara penyampaian materi oleh penyaji menarik serta interaksi penyaji dan peserta baik.Kata kunci: Reference Management Software; Zotero; End-Note; Sitasi.AbstractThe obligation to write scientific papers for teachers encourages the importance of mastering reference management software so that the quality of citations and reference lists in scientific papers are in accordance with the desired format. This community service activity aims to provide knowledge and skills for teachers of SMKN 6 Malang about Zotero and EndNote reference management software. The workshop activities were carried out for two days. In addition, a survey of the workshop participant about reference management software and operations was also conducted before and after the workshop. The survey also contained perceptions of workshop participants regarding the delivery of training materials. From the survey results, it is known that the majority of workshop participants did not understand the reference management software and its operation before attending the workshop. After the workshop, most of the participants perceived that Zotero was easier to use compared to End-Note. Most of the participants also perceived that the two reference management software taught, both Zotero and End-Note, were easy to use in writing citations and references. The survey results also showed that the majority of participants stated that the level of mastery of the material was good and the way the material was presented by the presenters was interesting and the interaction between presenters and participants was good.Keywords: Reference Management Software; Zotero; End-Note; Citation.

The purpose of this training was the preparation of scientific writing and assistance in the practice of writing a research paper. The output will be in the form of a proposal and a draft report. This training activity was carried out for a month, In the first session, trainees were given different materials and assignments for writing scientific papers. In the second stage, participants were required to write scientific papers using mentoring, participatory, and guided methods. In the third stage, participants collected their assignments followed by discussions involving all personnel and training participants. This community service was carried out for sixth-semester students who were also studying their research papers at STAI Auliaurrasyidin Tembilahan.

Indonesian Journal of Statistics and Its Applications (eISSN:2599-0802) (formerly named Forum Statistika dan Komputasi) publishes scientific papers in the area of statistical science and the applications. It is issued twice in a year. This research aims to describe English language errors in the scientific papers. The research data consists of 104 scientific articles that authors sent to Journal of Thu Dau Mot University. The quantitative method was applied in the form of frequency charts for each category of surface strategy taxonomy and comparative analysis. Based on the analysis theory of grammatical errors, all of the errors in these articles were identified and classified into different categorizations. The findings of the study showed that the authors’ writings were committed three main error groups: Lexical errors are the highest with 281 (49%); the number of Syntactic errors are ranked the second with 222 (39%); Morphological errors are the lowest with 69 (12%). On the basis of these results it is figured out that the authors still have difficulties in writing a research papers in English because they are not English major. Moreover the grammar of English is known as their foreign language. Another reason that the writer made errors is uninterested in organization of their papers. From the study findings above, the researcher suggests some implications to help authors improve their academic writing and meet English international standard.

Dental and oral health problems are still not become a priority among Indonesian societies. According to the Basic Health Research data in 2018, oral and dental health problems are still quite high up to 57.6%. Oral and Dental health problems are the issues which are prone to be found in infancy that will disrupt the process of a proper growth and development. Most of Indonesian society in general and many mothers in particular do not understand correctly how to care the toddlers' teeth and to keep it healthy with a good quality. The Mother School of ‘Bunda Sholihah’ is a local community empowerment organization whose main program is to increase the capacity of mothers in optimizing child development. This activity is designed to train the mothers to have the ability to care for children's dental health and play an active role in educating the wider community. The method utilized in this community service activities were training and educational practices. The training that has been carried out consists of education in lectures, two-way discussions and role analogies, followed by assignments in the field. The number of participants in this activity was up to 45 members from the foundation of the Bunda Sholihah society in the area of Kasihan, Bantul with a total full and active participation which reached 75.5%. This activity is carried out in groups, in once a week for 4 weeks activity, so that the total implementation was 4 meetings. This program involved the service-voluntary team as the educators, members and administrators of the foundation of Bunda Sholihah School by using modules that have been prepared by the service-voluntary team. The activity partner was the Mother School of Bunda Sholihah, Bantul, Yogyakarta. The results of this program showed a significant increase in the level of mother’s knowledge in infant and toddler dental health (p <0.05) including mother’s personal motivation and consideration regarding early dental examination in toddler.

Posyandu is the center of community activities in the effort to provide health services and family planning. These trained Posyandu cadres are not only seen from the way they handle maternal and child health but also have to be supported by their ability to use computers in administrative management and data processing. The method used in this community service activity is a combination of tutorials, practice, and discussion or question and answer, as well as evaluation to determine the level of absorption of the training material. The office application materials provided are Microsoft word, Microsoft excel, and Microsoft powerpoint. Office application program training activities for cadres of Posyandu Anyelir 8 Block 8 Perumnas Antang were carried out well and improved the skills of Posyandu Anyelir 8 Block 8 Perumnas cadres in the use of information technology.

Initially, this research was conducted to know and present the description or information about (1) MGBK program management in improving the professionalism of teachers and counseling SMA / MA Bantul Regency, as a recommendation material for the management of MGBK next period. (2) the participation of guidance and counseling teacher of SMA / MA of Bantul Regency in following MGBK activities; (3) the efforts made in increasing teacher participation in MGBK activities. However, after the research was conducted for almost a semester, not only those things in advance were found, but also information about the fulfillment of standard development of MGBK as well as fulfillment of operational standards of organization of MGBK SMA / MA Bantul Regency.The method used in this research is qualitative based on postpositivism / Interpretative philosophy. The focus of the research is the active participation of the BK Teachers in the MGBK activities in relation to the increased professionalism of BK Teachers SMA / MA Bantul District. The research data was obtained from the event during the activity process of MGBK activity, with the informants of BK Teachers, BK Board, Principals, and Subject Teachers. The techniques used in this data collection are interviews, observations and document studies, which are complemented by photographs of activities. Analysis begins from the field or empirical facts by plunging into the field, studying, analyzing, interpreting, and drawing conclusions from existing phenomena in the field.Keywords: Teacher Participation BK; MGBK, Professionalism

The work world related to office administration, mastery of Microsoft Office is needed as an office administration work tool that must be mastered by vocational students. However, students of SMK Dwitunggal 1 Tanjung Morawa hasn’t been maximal in mastering Microsoft Office 2019, especially in making mail merge on Ms. Word. They are only limited to know the use of Microsoft Office 2019 in the basic stages. Community Service Activity aimed to provide training on introduction of Microsoft Office 2019 computer applications in making mail merge on Microsoft Word to students of SMK Dwitunggal 1 Tanjung Morawa majoring in Office Management. The method used in this service activities were the tutorial, the question and answer, and the practical method. This activity was done well and gained the expected results. The result of this activity was students’ improvement in the ability and skills of making mail merge for letters, certificates and labels using Microsoft Office 2019. It hoped that Students of SMK Dwitunggal 1 Office Management Department understands to create mail for letters, certificates and labels, and if they follow Competency Test for their mail merge material, they can pass and get a Competency Certificate that is given by the State.

PURPOSE: This book provides step-by-step guidance on developing a sound publication strategy for how to prepare and get research papers published. The book is a user-friendly guide, a route map for publishing that covers many topics, ranging from abstracts and blogs, tables and trial registration to ethical principles and conventions for writing scientific papers. Publishing the results of scientific research in the form of a scientific paper is the ultimate goal and the final stage of the research of each scientist. To write and publish papers is never going to be an easy task. With this book as their guide, researchers will be better informed and therefore should have an easier and altogether more pleasant path to publication with clear direction on how to choose the right journal, avoid publication delays, and resolve authorship disputes and many other problems associated with scientific publishing.CONTENTS: The 188 pages of the book are distributed in 5 chapters in Part I and 249 entries ordered by the letters of Alphabet in Part II creating an A to Z of publication strategy.
