Abstract Grit or persistence is an individual effort exerted to achieve a long-term effort with a sustainable spirit and to develop this grittiness, a growth mindset is needed by that individual in order to believe or appreciate these abilities. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between grit and mindset among nursing students at Universitas Klabat, using a correlative method and consecutive sampling technique, consented by 226 students. Data analysis employing percentage, frequency, mean, standard deviation, and Spearman’s Correlation test. It is found that the grit of the participants averaged in 3.43 (SD= 0.531) signifying that the students were “quite gritty”. While for mindset the students were at the “intermediate mindset” level (M= 2.460; SD=0.676). Moreover, Spearman’s correlation revealed p=0.002 (<0.01) and r=-0.201 indicating a negative weak correlation between grit and mindset, signifying that the more gritty the student, the more fixed their mindset. It is recommended to conduct similar research to other students or study program and that the information about grit and mindset could be passed along throughout Universitas Klabat or other schools, and that also experimental study is suggested in the area of grit and mindset. For the institution, it is recommended that grit and mindset seminars, training, or workshops could be conducted for the students that they may aware of their situation and improve to be better and eventually achieve a successful learning experience. Keywords: grit, mindset, nursing, students   Abstrak Grit atau ketekunan adalah usaha seseorang untuk mencapai tujuan jangka panjang dengan semangat yang berkelanjutan, dan untuk mengembangkan grit diperlukan growth mindset agar seseorang percaya akan kemampuan diri dan menghargai kemampuan tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan yang signifikan antara grit dan mindset pada mahasiswa Keperawatan Universitas Klabat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif korelasi dengan teknik consecutive sampling diikuti oleh 226 mahasiswa yang setuju berpartisipasi. Analisa data menggunakan persentase, frekuensi, serta uji statistik Spearman’s Correlation menemukan rata-rata grit dari seluruh partisipan adalah M=3.43 (SD= 0.531) yang berarti partisipan berada pada skala “agak gritty”. Sedangkan rata-rata mindset dari partisipan berada pada nilai M= 2.460 (SD=0.676) yang berarti skala rata-rata “intermediate mindset” dan hasil uji Spearman’s correlation menunjukkan nilai p=0.002 (<0.01) dengan nilai r=-0.201 yang artinya ada hubungan negatif yang signifikan namun lemah antara grit dan mindset pada mahasiswa Keperawatan Universitas Klabat, yang artinya semakin gritty seorang mahasiswa, mereka berada pada mindset yang semakin fixed. Rekomendasi bagi peneliti selanjutnya agar dapat melakukan penelitian dengan menambah jumlah sampel dan memperluas penelitian ke fakultas lain agar informasi mengenai grit dan mindset juga dapat disalurkan kepada semua mahasiswa di Universitas Klabat bahkan di Universitas dan sekolah lain, serta dapat melakukan penelitian eksperimental pada area grit dan mindset. Bagi institusi, kiranya dapat mempelajari grit dan mindset, serta memberikan seminar, training atau workshop mengenai hal ini, sehingga mahasiswa boleh aware mengenai keadaan mereka. Many of Bunda's Tourism Diploma graduates are still unemployed because some are less interested in becoming self-employed. It because students are not motivated to become entrepreneurs, and the family environment is not yet supported. This study aimed to measure: the relationship between entrepreneurial learning outcomes, entrepreneurial motivation, and family environment with interest in entrepreneurship. This type of research is descriptive correlational. This research population is all students of the Hospitality study program of the Bunda Padang Tourism Academy, batch 2017 and 2018, totaling 61 students. The sample in this study were 61 students using the total sampling technique. The data collection instrument used a questionnaire using a Likert scale and data analysis methods, including simple correlation and multiple correlations. Research is expected to increase students' entrepreneurial knowledge through attitudes, knowledge, and skills to overcome entrepreneurial tasks' complexity, providing real experiences for students to carry out entrepreneurial practices.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran dan hubungan self efficacy, coping stress dan prestasi akademik mahasiswa semester awal Program Studi Psikologi Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 60 orang. Tekhnik pengambilan data dengan cara purposive sampling. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah skala self efficacy dan skala coping stress. Untuk prestasi akademik data dikumpulkan dengan melihat indeks prestasi akademik (IPK) semester pertama. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan : (1) tidak ada hubungan yang sangat signifikan antara variabel self efficacy, coping stress dan prestasi akademik , (2) sumbangan prediktor (R2) self efficacy dan coping stress sebesar  2%, (3) rata-rata mahasiswa Program Studi Psikologi angkatan 2012 memiliki self efficacy yang tergolong tinggi, coping stress yang tergolong sedang dan prestasi akademik yang tergolong sedang.Kata kunci : self efficacy, coping stress, dan prestasi akademik  Aim to determine relationship between self efficacy, coping stress and achievement academic in first semester college student of Psychology Study Program of Medical Faculty of Lambung Mangkurat University. Method respondents as many as 60 first semester college students. Sampling technique by using purposive sampling. Data collection by using self efficacy scale, coping of stress scale and achievement academic indeks of first semester. Data analyzed by multiple regression. Results the relationship between self efficacy, coping of stress and achievement academic is not significant.. Self efficacy and coping of stress contribute 2% to achievement academic. Conclusion Odd semester college student in 2012 has high performance in self efficacy, middle in coping of stress and middle in achievement academic. Keywords: self efficacy, coping of stress, achievement academic

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the trust of co-workers and proactive personalities on career satisfaction by exchanging leader-members as mediation on employees of bus assembly companies in the city of Semarang. Career satisfaction is the phase in which employees’ long-term career needs are aligned with what they get while working. Employees will always look for opportunities and trust in the organization and people who will help them in achieving career satisfaction. The sampling method uses a purposive sampling technique in the category of staff and foreman employees who have worked for more than five years with a sample of 160 employees. The analytical data in this study uses descriptive statistical test methods, instinctual tests include validity and reliability, and hypothesis testing. The tool used to test in this study uses SmartPLS 3.0. The results of this study, colleague trust cannot directly influence career satisfaction. However, it can be mediated by the exchange of leader members and produce significant influence. For further researchers, they can re-examine the relationship of coworkers’ trust with career satisfaction. And can expand the object of research or respondents under study.

<p><em>Injection contraception is one of the popular contraceptive methods, widely used by KB acceptors (40,88%). Second place is pill contraception (28,48%). </em><em>Depo Medroxyprogesteron Acetate (DMPA) is</em><em> one of the injectable contraceptives that is widely used kb acceptor.</em> <em>DMPA has several side effects include changes in serum lipid metabolism in the long-term use</em>. <em>This study aims to </em><em>the effect of the duration of the use </em><em>depo medroxyprogesterone acetate </em><em>on the levels of LDL and HDL</em><em>.</em> <em>The study was conducted in Lubuk Buaya Public Health and Laboratory of Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine, University of Andalas Padang in September 2016 to January 2017. Type of study was observational using cross sectional design. Samples numbered 32 people, consisting of two groups of depo medroxyprogesterone acetate acceptor &gt; 3 years, depo medroxyprogesterone acetate acceptors &lt; 3 years.</em> <em>This samples was taken using consecutive sampling technique</em><em>.</em> <em>Blood was collected from the subject of research by intravenous and measured by</em><em> </em><em>Colorimetric Enzymatic Method (CHOD-PAP)</em><em> </em><em>for</em><em> </em><em>LDL and HDL.</em><em> </em><em>The average LDL in two groups study was 93.29 ± 22.83 mg/dl, 90.51 ± 18.22 mg/dl. The average HDL in the two groups study was 70,04 ± 16,4 mg/dl, 65,98 ± 9,7 mg/dl.</em><em></em></p>

Previous work has shown that feeding regime and not physical restraint is a major cause in the development of stereotypies in closely confined sows, (Teriouw et al, 1991). However, this and a previous report on the relationship between feeding regime and stereotypies in sows (Appleby and Lawrence, 1987) have only studied gilts in their first pregnancy. The objective of this present work was to examine longer-term effects of feeding regime and housing on the development of stereotypies in sows.Thirty-two sows (Cotswold Pig Development Co. Ltd, UK) were allocated to either loose (Lo) or tether (Te) housing and to Low (L; 2.5 kg/day) or high (H; 4.0 kg/day) food levels in a balanced design. Apart from social contact and freedom of movement the housing systems were similar including the provision of chains to the loose housed animals. The behavioural response to these treatments was observed over parities 2,3 and 4 using a time sampling technique, and the data analysed by analysis of variance and linear correlation.

Objective: Explores in depth the learning experience of students in SCL “student center learning” model in Nursing Program Stikes General Achmad Yani Yogyakarta. Methods: This research use qualitative method with descriptive approach, executed on June until August 2016 in Nursing Program Stikes General Achmad Yani Yogyakarta. Informants in this study were selected by purposive sampling technique of convenience sampling. The informants involved in this research are 6 informants, where the researcher has obtained the data saturation in gathering information and has reached redudancy. Interviews were conducted once for each participant, lasting approximately 60-90 minutes for each participant. Data analysis method used in this research is method of analysis from Colaizzi. Result: There are 12 themes perceived by Nursing Program Stikes General Achmad Yani Students about SCL learning model that is role of student, the role of lecturer, learning process, student expression with SCL learning model,  the number of group members, student activeness in learning, improvement of student soft skills, means of learning, lecturer relationships with students, relationships between students, supporting factors, and inhibiting factors Conclusion: There are three perceptions of students about SCL learning, namely the role of lecturer as facilitator and mediator, scheduled learning process, and student perception on SCL learning model. The advantages of learning perceived by the students is seen from the number of group members, the activity of the students in learning and the improvement of the soft skills of the students. Lesson in the SCL learning model perceived by the students, the learning facilities, the relationship of lecturers with students, and the relationship among students. There are two factors that play a role in student learning in SCL learning model in Nursing Program Stikes General Achmad Yani Yogyakarta is the driving factor (self, family and friends)

Perilaku caring dipandang sebagai bagian penting dari keperawatan dan sebagai kompetensi yang diharapkan pada mahasiswa keperawatan. Kelompok teman sebaya sangat berguna dalam menyediakan lingkungan di mana mahasiswa keperawatan dapat belajar caring. Dukungan sosial juga penting untuk pengembangan profesional dan pribadi mahasiswa keperawatan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis hubungan peer caring behavior dan dukungan sosial dengan perilaku caring mahasiswa keperawatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi sarjana keperawatan sebanyak 250 mahasiswa yang terdiri dari semester 4, 6 dan 8 teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan perilaku caring diadaptasi dari kuesioner Caring Behavior Inventory (CBI) dan kuesioner Peer Caring Behavior Scale serta Social Support Questionnaire. Hasil: Rata-rata peer caring behaviors 63,1, rata-rata dukungan sosial 16,5, rata-rata  perilaku caring 129,3, ada hubungan peer caring behavior dengan perilaku caring (r=0,269, p=0,015) dan hubungan dukungan sosial dengan perilaku caring (r=0,215, p=0,01). Kesimpulan: terdapat hubungan antara peer caring behavior dan dukungan sosial dengan perilaku caring.  Pendidik harus mendorong pelaksanaan perilaku caring diantara teman sebaya di kalangan mahasiswa sebagai sarana memfasilitasi hubungan mahasiswa dengan pasien dan keluarganya di masa yang akan datang. Pendidik juga mempertimbangkan peran potensial yang berkembang dari teknologi media sosial sebagai sumber dukungan sosial yang dapat diakses dan sebagai media pembelajaran dalam peningkatan perilaku caring. Kata Kunci: peer caring behaviors; dukungan sosial; perilaku caring  mahasiswa keperawatan  PEER CARING BEHAVIORS AND SOCIAL SUPPORT TOWARDS CARING BEHAVIOR OF BACHELOR NURSING STUDENTS AT FACULTY OF HEALTH HARAPAN BANGSA UNIVERSITY ABSTRACT Caring behavior is seen as an important part of nursing and as an expected competency in nursing students. Peer groups are very useful in providing an environment in which nursing students can learn caring. Social support is also important for the professional and personal development of nursing students. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between peer caring behavior and social support towards nursing students' caring behavior. This research was a descriptive correlational study with a cross sectional approach. The sample of this study was 250 undergraduate nursing students consisting of semesters 4, 6 and 8. The sampling technique used total sampling. The research instrument used caring behavior was adapted from the Caring Behavior Inventory (CBI) questionnaire and the Peer Caring Behavior Scale questionnaire and the Social Support Questionnaire. The average of peer caring behavior was 63.1, the average social support was 16.5, the average caring behavior was 129.3, it is stated that there is a relationship between peer caring behavior and caring behavior (r = 0.269, p = 0.015) and the relationship between social support and caring behavior (r = 0.215, p = 0.01). There is a relationship between peer caring behavior and social support with caring behavior. Educators must encourage the implementation of caring behavior among students as a means of facilitating student relations with patients and their families in the future. Educators also consider the developing potential role of social media technology as an accessible source of social support and as a learning medium in enhancing caring behavior. Keywords: peer caring behavior; social support; caring behavior; nursing student’s caring behaviour

Main target of this research is examining the relationship between the purchase intention of cosmetics and brand label. The image of the store mediates the relationship between purchase intention and brand label in the cosmetics sector of Pakistan. To check the direct or indirect effect of brand label on purchase intention, data was collected from 200 customers of different stores. Snow ball sampling technique is used for the collection of data from respondents, and PLS-SEM 3 was used to test the hypothesis. The findings indicate that brand label positively and significantly impact customer purchase intention of cosmetics and store image is also positively linked with brand label and mediating the relationship between purchase intention and brand label. Findings will help the retail service sector to understand the importance of store image and how to enhance the consumers purchase intentions. Over long term, customer retention is better and business profitability is greater.

The aims of this research is to find out whether or not there is a significant relationship between students’ motivation and their listening achievement. Quantitative method was applied in this research with correlation design. The population of the study was the second semester students of English Language Education Study Program of Khairun University academic year 2016/2017. The sample of this research consisted of 30 students and they were selected by using convenience sampling technique. The data were collected through questionnaire and listening scores. The result of this research shows that r is -0.28. This relationship is small (low) because r value is between 0.10 and 0.29. The result could be classified that the relationship between the two variables is not significant because the r is small (low). It means that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) stating that there is a significant relationship between students’ motivation and their listening achievement is rejected and null hypothesis (Ho) stating that there is no significant relationship between students’ motivation and their listening achievement is accepted. This suggests that students with high motivation do not guarantee high achievement in learning listening comprehension.Keyword : Relationship, motivation, listening achievement

A long-term sustainable effort is by iodizing salt, which is adding iodine to food ingredients. The aim of this program is that 90% or more households consume iodized salt according to the requirements, which is 30-80 parts permillion (ppm). The aim of this research was to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes of the housewives with the use of iodized salt in Delitua Timur, Deli Serdang. The sampling technique in this research was non probability sampling using a purposive method of 96 people. The analysis carried out using the chi-square test. The results of the research on 96 respondents for the knowledge variable obtained which means there was not relationship between knowledge and the use of iodized salt. And for attitude variables obtained which means there was a relationship between attitudes and use of iodized salt in Delitua Timur, Deli Serdang. The suggested for this research to the society to increase their knowledge and positive attitude to use of iodized salt in an effort to improve health and nutrition.
