The article reveals the peculiarities of the use of athletics to improve the physical fitness of students of higher education institutions. The influence of physical education on motivation for athletics is also revealed. It is established that the use of means and methods of athletics in physical education classes in higher education institutions leads to a significant increase in the level of physical fitness. It was found that one of the factors influencing the growth of student morbidity and low level of their physical development is the lack of physical activity. The combination of these factors determines the level of physical fitness and efficiency, which, in turn, are important indicators of professional training of students. However, the use of other methods of strength development, the method of unsatisfactory efforts with a normalized number of repetitions, the method of unsatisfactory efforts with the maximum number of repetitions, the method of dynamic efforts, the shock method, the method of static efforts, the static-dynamic method, the method of circular training, the game method has a beneficial effect on the development of all physical qualities. The decrease in the indicators of general physical fitness is facilitated by the fact that during the holidays, students practically do not go in for sports on their own. As the analysis of the survey has shown, only students of higher educational institutions are independently engaged in physical culture.

Current research in psychology and psychophysiology focuses on the subject of anticipation and forecasting. Anticipatory sustainability is a personal trait that determines the ability to anticipate events and possible ways of personal development, as well as the ability to prevent interpersonal conflicts. The aim of the study was to identify the role of development level of anticipatory competence of coaches in their professional competence evaluation and perception by athletes. Research methods and organization. The research involved two groups of test subjects. The experimental group consisted of sport dance coaches and their students. The control group brought together experts in socionomic area with different work experience. We used testing and questionnaire methods to achieve the goal and objectives of the study. Testing method included the test for diagnosing anticipatory sustainability according to A. Mendelevich and the test of socio-perceptual coaching evaluation by athletes. We used the results of testing and questionnaires to provide a comparative and correlation analysis of data. Research results. The analysis of test results revealed the impact of work experience on the development of both spatial and temporal characteristics of the anticipation of coaches, indicating a possible effect on the intensity and direction of development of those characteristics in specific conditions. We have identified valid connections between the gnostic parameter (professional competence evaluation) of the socio-perceptual coaching evaluation by athletes and spatiotemporal characteristics of coaches' anticipation, defined as professionally important qualities of coaches. Moreover, we have demonstrated a weak direct relationship between the personality-situational component of the anticipatory sustainability of coaches and the emotional parameter of their socio-perceptual evaluation by athletes, indicating a significant role of communicative-anticipation sustainability in the development of an attitude of athletes to the coach. Conclusion. In summary, we can conclude that the anticipatory sustainability of coaches plays a key role in the structure of their competence, and the development of this property is possible under certain conditions.

The article analyzes the scientific psychological and pedagogical literature on the problem of competence approach. The key, basic and special competencies of the future aviation specialist are considered. It is understood as a system of relevant knowledge, skills, abilities and values, which are reproduced in the ability and willingness of the individual to solve professional problems of various kinds. The professional competence of the future aviation specialist includes basic (unique for specialists of different profiles) and professional (due to the specifics of the field of activity) competencies. The leading role of professional and applied-physical training in the process of forming the competence of an aviation specialist is substantiated. To a large extent, the formation of both basic and professional competencies is facilitated by professional and applied physical training. The content of professional and applied physical training determines the requirements for the personality of the specialist, and, above all, the requirements for his physical and mental training, which, in turn, are determined by factors closely related to the specifics of professional activity. The content of professional and applied-physical training determines the requirements for the personality of the specialist, and, above all, the requirements for his physical and mental training, which, in turn, are determined by factors closely related to the specifics of professional activity. Professional and applied physical training of future aviation specialists for highly productive work is carried out in the following areas: mastering applied skills and abilities that are elements of certain sports; accentuated education of certain physical and special qualities, especially important for the highly productive work of the future aviation specialist; obtaining applied knowledge and skills of application of means of physical culture in the mode of work and rest taking into account extreme working conditions and age features. However, professional and applied-physical training is not а separate from the traditional system of physical education, but is organically linked to all its main areas, an important part, the section of physical education, the main content of which is the formation of physical abilities that meet the specific needs of this profession, equipping with professional skills and abilities, and means the formation of professional competence of the specialist. At the same time, the new strategy of professional training of cadets should consist not only in specially organized physical training classes, but also independent, conscious and active motor activity in order to effectively psychophysical adaptation to the socio-legal conditions of modern life. In the Standard of higher education preparation of the master on a specialty 272-Aviation transport Educational qualification: the master on systems of management of safety of aviation; master's degree in unmanned aerial systems and complexes; Master of Air Traffic Services from the list of competencies of the graduate, we have identified those that are formed in the process of professional and applied physical training. Pedagogical conditions for effective implementation of the competency-based approach to professional-applied physical training of future aviation specialists in flight higher educational institutions have been developed: ensuring the formation of positive motivation for future professional activity and own professional reliability; creation of educational situations of quasi-professional aviation activity at all stages of physical training; use of professional interaction as a basis for ensuring the quality of professional activity.

The article foregrounds the need for future military pilots’ professional competence formation taking into consideration the growing amount of armed conflicts. The analysis of the literary sources indicates that scientists are interested in improving the professional training of future military pilots, but not enough attention is paid to the formation of professional competence of these specialists. Our research set a goal to experimentally test the singled out organizational and pedagogical conditions for future military pilots’ professional competence formation (interdisciplinary integration with the goal of future military pilots’ tactical thinking forming; the use of simulator-based training to practice different types of combat flights by future military pilots; making use of operational pilots’ experience and analysis of combat employment of aviation for the purpose of updating air-tactical knowledge and improving air-tactical training of future military pilots) whether they contribute to the effective formation of the abovementioned definition. The experiment involved 227 persons (undergraduate future military pilots (20–22 years old)), the experimental group consisted of 127 persons, the control group made 100 persons. These groups were qualitatively homogeneous at the initial stage of the experiment. The implementation of distinguished organizational and pedagogical conditions into the educational process of higher military educational institutions provided an opportunity to effectively shape the professional competence of future military pilots, which is confirmed by the methods of mathematical statistics. Thus, the conducted scientific search confirms the effectiveness of proposed conditions of future military pilots’ professional competence formation.
