The problem of student survival in extreme situations is very relevant. The future professional activities of students are connected with actions in various potential extreme situations. It is necessary in the process of training at the university in students to form sufficient readiness for adequate actions in diverse extreme scenarios. On the basis of theoretical analysis of various concepts of extreme situations, it is defined as “a complex of environmental conditions requiring certain actions for a certain period of time”. The main factors of the situation are danger and difficulty, and their integral functions are risk and effort, respectively. Situations are external and internal. Physical preparedness is made up of general and special physical qualities determining certain actions in accordance with the demands of extreme situations. The aim of the study is to form physical readiness in students for survival in extreme situations by applying a specialized impact methodology. The formation of physical readiness in students takes place in the process of regular classes in physical education and sport. Certain exercises are included in the individual classes, which have a positive influence on the formation of physical readiness for actions in extreme situations. In summarizing the variational and comparative analysis of the results of the study, it was found that the applied methods of influence in the process of conducting regular classes of students of physical education and sports has positively affected the physical readiness of young people in the experimental group.

Abstract Introduction. The improvement of outcomes in sport requires the creation of appropriate conditions for training and the search for more effective forms of its organisation and effective technology. Starting with this belief, the aim of the work is to identify the size and structure of the training loads and determine the effectiveness of the training process of an elite athlete in the Olympic macrocycle (2004-2008). Material and methods. We analysed loads in the four-year training cycle from 2004 to 2008. The parameters of the loads relating to the intensity (T1-T5) and type of training (general, special, and specific) were analysed. The present study also attempted to assess the impact of the work on the results obtained. Due to the nature of the competitive effort, we used the measurable parameter of distance (m, km) in the load analysis depending on the type and intensity of the physical effort. Results. This work reports on the implementation of a specially designed four-year training programme. The material gathered and the conclusions resulting from its analysis have made it possible to identify organisational and training solutions suitable for the athletic proficiency phase. The analysis of training loads indicated that in the training of a highly skilled swimmer, the general work is particularly important and that the largest volume was realised in the second intensity range (T2). Conclusions. The positive training and competition outcomes were the result of a deliberate training process. The training proved to be effective, leading to an increase in the athlete’s training status. This was achieved primarily owing to the training loads, which were accurately planned and implemented according to the special requirements of the race distance and the individual characteristics of the swimmer.

To achieve success, each sport requires an excellent state of formation of physical and mental qualities. In the case when the sports training of athletes is at the same level, the main and decisive moment for winning the competition is psychological readiness. Athletes are trained in different areas, but very often the inability to cope with their emotions can lead to defeat, despite years of training. With the active participation of a psychologist in the training process, it becomes possible to characterize the individual characteristics of the athlete, the formation and development of mental qualities necessary for victory. One of the activities of a sports psychologist is the timeliness of determining the features of the psyche, the development of an individual plan for the development of abilities, strategies for pre-competitive and competitive behavior. Psychodiagnostics plays an important role in the development of the athlete's personality and further activities of the coach. Thanks to psychodiagnostics there is a formation of psychological and pedagogical and psychohygienic recommendations, planning of system of actions on athletes. Psychodiagnostics aims to study the athlete. In this process, the coach helps to objectively assess the personality of the athlete. Psychohygienic recommendations of a psychologist and a coach are closely related. After all, in the system "coach-athlete-psychologist" they directly affect the mental state of the athlete. There are many examples in the history of sports when a timely word, pause, gesture, support decided the fate of persistent confrontation. Every athlete in his professional career goes through crisis periods, which are caused by various reasons: defeat in the competition, transition to another team, change of coach, problems in personal life. Diversity in the work of the coach, the importance of a number of auxiliary functions in the work of the latter (administration, regulation, management) does not allow to adequately assess the problems and troubles of the athlete as a person. This is the task of a sports psychologist - to create an atmosphere of complete trust and mutual understanding, to establish contact with the athlete to reveal personal problems, which will effectively affect his condition, help the athlete understand their problems, find a way out of difficult situations sports achievements.

The physical training of football players has a speed-power orientation, so we have investigated the dynamics of the level of development of these physical qualities. The age of those involved in football, School №1 of Mozyr region, were of 13-14 years of age. For objective control of the level of development of speed-strength qualities and diagnostics of the results demonstrated by the young football players, motor tests were used. Identifying and filling gaps in the training of football players helps the programme to finish the training process in terms of age. Taking into account the principles of the training process, we have proposed the methodology for improving the speed and power qualities of football players, developed a set of special exercises on the basis of the individual approach. The training sessions were held according to the schedule and differed in the means and methods of training young football players. The developed experimental programme provided for overcoming the individual typological characteristics of the physical fitness of young athletes through the use of individual tasks in the training process, which was based on the principle of the differentiated approach to the students. The programme, which was used in the control group, also contributed to the growth of the results of speed-power indicators, which have positive dynamics. However, the processing of test results proved that the increase in the indicators of the experimental group during the period of the pedagogical experiment is higher than in the control group. The differences between the control and experimental groups are significant, and this confirms that the developed and tested program for the development of speed and power qualities of the football players, which included a set of special exercises, where the main place is occupied by jumping exercises and accelerations (running and jumping exercises with weights; jumping to a hill with a push involving two and one legs; jumping exercises with an emphasis on maximum speed of movements; jumping out of a semi-squat position with the push of two legs; performing running and jumping exercises on sand, a mat, etc.) will increase the level of speed-strength preparedness of football players and, in general, increase their sports mastery.
