One agricultural commodity that has high economic value is the clove "Eugenia Aromatica". The many benefits obtained from cloves, making clove commodities sell well in the market due to of high demand. Therefore, the amount of clove production must be able to balance the market demand in order to keep price stability stable. However, post-harvest handling of cloves at the farm level is generally conventional. This has caused problems including long working time (ineffective), the risk of clove quality decreases, and causes discomfort to the skin of workers' hands due to friction of the clove flower for long time. Hence, it is necessary to conduct IbM – “Ipteks bagi Masyarakat” (Science and Technology for Communities) activities in utilizing clove flower separator machines for farmers in Bonto Village, Enrekang. The stages of the implementation of the IbM activities were observation to the farmer groups in Bonto Village, procurement of clove flower separators, conducting training to operate the clove separator mechine and counseling how to do mechine maintenance to farmers in Bonto Village. The results obtained from this community service activity are that clove farmers in Bonto village are able to work more effectively and efficiently in the process of separating clove flowers from their stems so that the production of cloves increases with good quality.

Tobacco is one of the important agricultural commodities in Bucor Wetan Village, Pakuniran District, Probolinggo Regency. However, tobacco stems (nicotiana tobacum) are often considered as agricultural waste, since a lack of effective treatment is given to them. This community service activity is to utilize tobacco stem waste to be useful by making it a biopesticide to treat pests and diseases in plants. To achieve these goals, this program is by counseling and training to farmer groups on how to make biopesticides from tobacco stems. The results of this activity were: a) the participants’ enthusiasm is more considerable, especially the Farmer Group, to involve with the training, and b) their knowledge of using tobacco stems is more increased, since they have highly today’s economic value.

Banyuwangi Regency is one of the agricultural centers in East Java province and Indonesia. Mostly,Banyuwangi people work as farmers due to the fertil soil and wide amount of agricultural land in Banyuwangi . Thelarge number of people who work as farmers initiating the formation of farmer groups. One of the farmer groups in theSrono sub-district of Banyuwangi is the "Tan Selo 1" farmers group located in the village of Sukomaju and the "TanSelo 2" farmers group in Sukonatar village. The normal average price of one banana bunch in Banyuwangi is between50-60 thousand depending on the type and quality of bananas. Problems arise when the quantity of bananas in the marketarose, the price of 1 bunch of bananas decreases dramatically. The price of 1 bunch which is usually set at 50-60thousand drops drastically to only 20-30 thousand. This is certainly a problem for farmers in the Tan Selo group. The lackof knowledge of Tan Selo farmers about alternative variants of processed banana based products and the lack ofknowledge of the marketing strategies make it hard for the Tan Selo farmers to increase the economic value of bananaswhich have been used as an alternative income for farmers. Therefore, the solutions offered to overcome the problems offarmers include: equipping and improving farmers' knowledge about the variety of processed banana-based foods andtheir marketing strategies, conducting training to make variations on banana-based foods, conducting training oneffective marketing strategies. Overall, a series of community service programs were carried out perfectly as it expected.The percentage of participants' understanding in choosing high quality bananas is 85%, the percentage of participants’ability in processing banana-based foods is 86%, and percentage of participants who successfully sell processed foodproducts by utilizing online shopping sites is 70%

The Village

A clean and healthy tourist village is the main attraction for visitors because the beautiful and clean environment makes visitors feel comfortable. Based on the results of the FGD conducted by the University of Bengkulu LPPM in the village of Rindu Hati, several problems were found, such as the cleanliness of the village, the absence of a garbage disposal site. This of course can cause various problems for visitors and the community, one of which can affect public health and the environment. Efforts that can be made are the Guidance of Clean and Healthy Life Behavior (PHBS). The purpose of this community service activity is to provide education to the Rindu Hati village community so that they can maintain environmental cleanliness and health through the proper and correct application of PHBS, increase community knowledge and skills in managing household waste and environmental waste, and improve community skills in disease management. environmental impacts and independently in preventing and overcoming the health problems it faces. The methods used are: health education about waste management, training to utilize waste. The participants who took part in this activity were 50 people consisting of environmental groups, PKK cadres, health cadres, village officials, and housewives. The results of this community service activity show an increase in community participation in maintaining environmental cleanliness and health, this can be seen from the community's ability to implement PHBS and utilize waste that has economic value.

Community service is one of the duties that must be carried out by every lecturer in Higher Education as one aspect of Tri Dharma University. This community service was titled "The Production of F0 Oyster Mushroom Seeds (Pleurotus ostreatus), The Post-Harvest Handling, and The Utilization of Baglog Waste into Compost" which involved two partners. Partner 1 was in Pegajahan Village, Pegajahan Sub-District who experienced problems with the availability of high-quality F0 and F1 seeds and low production in terms of quality and quantity. Partner 2 was in Blok H Village Dolok Masihul Sub-District, Serdang Bedagai Regency who had a lack of knowledge about post-harvest handling and composting from oyster mushroom baglog waste. Solutions offered for both partners were: (1) transfer of knowledge, such as lectures and discussions; (2) training; and (3) mentoring about the cultivation of F0 and F1 oyster mushrooms. Goals and targets of this activity were: (1) the communities or the farmer groups were able to produce and cultivate F0 and F1 oyster mushrooms, so they did not need to buy F0 and F1 seeds from other regions and can fulfill the market demand; and (2) Partner 2 was able to make compost from oyster mushroom baglog waste and various processed food from oyster mushroom to increase their income. The results of this activity have provided benefits to Partner 1 regarding their ability to produce F0 and F1 seeds, ability to process post-harvest oyster mushrooms into several types of food to increase its selling value, and ability to make compost from baglog waste which can be used for plants to overcome environmental pollution and to increase Partner 2’s income.

The number of Covid 19 cases is increasing and cannot be ignored considering the increase every day continues to increase. The impact of the Covid 19 pandemic has an impact on various fields, especially the economy. To avoid the increasing number of sufferers, the government limits activities that cause crowds, maintains distance and maintains hygenicity in the community in carrying out daily activities known as health protocol regulations. The behavior and actions of the community must change completely from the usual actions that are often carried out, for that it is necessary to have socialization on how to prevent the transmission of Covid 19 by implementing the health protocol that has been advised by the government. The purpose of this community service activity is to remind and help public understanding of the implementation of health protocols during the Covid 19 pandemic. The form of activities is in the form of counseling, giving hand sanitizers and masks. Lack of public awareness and knowledge about Covid-19 can be overcome by providing knowledge, through socialization about the importance of implementing this activity protocol in order to help people face New normal conditions, by helping people live by complying with health protocols. The results of the activity obtained the enthusiasm of the residents in following the activity until the end with the many questions asked. ABSTRAK: Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengurangi kerugian petani dan pedagang bengkoang serta mengoptimalkan umbi bengkoang kelompok tani dengan peningkatan nilai tambah melalui produk bedak dingin. Umbi bengkoang yang tidak terjual lagi dan diangkap afkir dimana kurang layak untuk jadi produk olahan pangan dimanfaatkan untuk membuat bedak dingin. Pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan tahapan : 1) Pembuatan dan pengujian bedak dingin bengkoang dengan menggunakan 3 (tiga) jenis ketuaan umbi bengkoang. Pengamatan yang dilakukan meliputi rendemen, derajat warna putih, pH dan uji organoleptik bedak dan uji iritasi ; dan 2) Penyuluhan dan demontrasi/pelatihan pembuatan bedak dingin pada kelompok mitra. Pada penyuluhan disampaikan: i) Potensi umbi bengkoang, ii) Faktor-foktor yang perlu diperhatikan dalam penentuan bengkoang afkir, dan iii) Faktor yang diperhatikan dalam membuat produk bermutu baik dan dapat disimpan dalam jangka waktu yang lama. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah : 1) Bengkoang afkir (sisa yang tidak terjual) mempunyai potensi dan dapat serta aman untuk dijadikan bedak dingin; 2). Hasil penelitian (pengujian) bedak dingin bengkoang afkir memberikan hasil yang hampir sama dengan bedak dingin menggunakan bengkoang segar ataupun bengkoang yang panen tua (5-5.5 bulan). Pati bengkoang afkir lebih tinggi dari bengkoang segar dan kadar air yang lebih rendah; dan 3). Anggota kelompok wanita tani Berkat Yakin dapat memahami dan mampu membuat bedak dingin bengkoang afkir yang baik untuk dapat disimpan dalam waktu yang lama.Kata kunci: Bengkoang afkir, Bedak dingin, Pengabdian, Kelompok wanita tani Utilization of Reject Bengkoang (Pachyrhizus Erosus) on Cold Mask Production in Berkat Yakin Farmer Women Group at Sub District of Batang Anai District of Padang PariamanABSTRACT: The aim of the community service were to reduce losses of bengkoang farmers and traders, and also to optimize bengkoang tubers farmer groups with increased value added through cold mask products. Bengkoang tubers that not sell anymore and considered reject where less feasible to be food products used to make the cold mask. This community service was done by stages: 1) Making and testing of cold mask bengkoang by using 3 (three) maturity types of bengkoang tuber. The observations included rendement, white color, pH, organoleptic test of mask, and irritation test; and 2) Counseling and demonstration / training of making cold mask in group of partner. In the counseling delivered: i) Bengkoang tuber potency, ii) Factors to consider in determining reject bengkoang , and 3) Factors considered in making good quality products and can be stored for long periods. The results of this community service activity were: 1) Reject bengkoang (unsold remnant) has the potential and can and safe to be used as cold mask; 2). The cold mask product of reject bengkoang had same quality with cold mask using fresh bengkoang or old harvested bengkoang (5-5.5 month). Starch of reject bengkoang higher than fresh bengkoang and it’s water content is lower; and 3). Members of farmer women group Berkat Yakin can understand and able to make cold mask from reject bengkoang and good to be stored for a long time.Keywords: Reject bengkoang, Cold mask, Community service, Farmer women group

The Cost

The sustainability of the livestock business does not only depend on the success of the maintenance system which aims at increasing productivity, but also on the ability to process the resulting livestock waste. Livestock waste is the main source of quality degradation for the environment, this occurs due to the presence of ammonia and methane gas which is formed from the decomposition of organic matter. Ammonia along with other gases can cause acid rain, while methane gas causes a greenhouse effect. This community service partner is a farmer who is part of the "Sido Makmur" beef cattle group in Umbulrejo village, Umbulsari sub-district, Jember district. The purpose of this community service activity is to transfer knowledge and technology regarding livestock waste processing to be used as biogas. The selection of waste treatment topics is based on a situation analysis of the "Sido Makmur" livestock group. The results of the situation analysis show that generally livestock manure is not processed and is left around the stables and there are some group members who have difficulty buying LPG fuel because it is considered quite expensive. The implementation of the service consists of several activitie, the first was outreach activities, demonstrations / practices and assistance of community service activities. The results of the community service survey which have shown that the application of technology in the processing or utilization of livestock manure into a useful material that even has economic value will support the creation of an environmentally friendly livestock system or zerro waste system, besides that it will also improve the welfare of breeders through minimizing the cost of purchasing fuel.

ABSTRAKPermasalahan dari mitra pengabdi kami adalah a. bagaimana mahasiswa binaan mitra khususnya mahasiswa pembudidayaan bisa mengembangkan kultur tanaman budaya Indonesia dikenal masyarakat umum khususnya negara lain, bahwa jenis anggrek di Indonesia memiliki keunikan anggrek yang berbeda dengan negara lain. b. anggrek juga memiliki perawatan yang ekstra sehingga di perlukan media tanam anggrek supaya tidak merawatnya ekstra dan bisa dikmati penyuka tanaman bunga. Dari permasalahan mitra tersebut tim pengabdi menggunakan metode pengabdian masyarakat yakni melakukan pemaparan materi dan pelatihan teknologi hidroponik sebagai media tanaman anggrek dan memberikan pengalaman serta pengetahuan kepada mitra pengabdi bahwa anggrek bisa menjadi nilai ekonomis. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yakni mitra memperoleh banyak informasi mengenai jenis anggrek dan dapat menyimpulkan sendiri bahwa perlunya jenis anggrek di budidayakan. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yakni 1. Memanfaatkan teknologi hidroponik sebagai media tanam anggrek sangatlah diperlukan guna membudidayakan jenis anggrek tertentu agar tidak mengalami kepunahan. 2. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini mitra dalam hal ini para mahasiswa memperoleh masukan dan ide kreatif dalam meningkatakan nilai ekonomis daerah pada masing-masing tempat tinggalnya di wilayah asal mahasiswa. 3. Memberikan pemahaman baru bahwa biasanya anggrek tidak dapat digunakan untuk tanaman hidroponik ternyata sudah bisa digunakan dengan persyaratan tertentu. Kata Kunci : hidroponik; anggrek; teknologi. ABSTRACTThe problems of our service partners are a. how partner-assisted students, especially cultivating students, can develop Indonesian cultural plant culture known to the general public, especially other countries, that the type of orchid in Indonesia has a unique orchid that is different from other countries. b. orchids also have extra care so that the orchid growing media is needed so as not to care for them extra and can be loved by those who like flowers. From the problems of the partners, the service team used community service methods, namely the presentation of materials and training in hydroponic technology as a medium for orchid plants and provided experience and knowledge to service partners that orchids could be of economic value. As a result of community service activities, partners get a lot of information about the types of orchids and can conclude for themselves that the need for orchids is cultivated. Conclusions from community service activities namely 1. Utilizing hydroponic technology as an orchid growing media is needed to cultivate certain types of orchids so they do not experience extinction. 2. In this community service activity partners in this case the students get creative input and ideas in increasing the economic value of the area in each place of residence in the student's home region. 3. Gives a new understanding that normally orchids cannot be used for hydroponic plants but can already be used with certain requirements. Keywords: hydroponics; orchid; technology.

Homecoming activities that occur each approaching Eid certainly make travelers feel exhausted on the way to their hometown. So with that it requires activities that help travelers. In this case we provide a place to rest for travelers and provide free massage for travelers. Massage comes from the French word "masser" which means rubbing or from the Arabic word "mash" which means to press it gently or from the Greek word "massien" which means to massage or wrap. With the provision of massage it is expected that travelers can relax and make the body fit again. Based on the above problems, we need a place of rest for travelers who drive motorized vehicles and volunteers who are able to reduce driver fatigue by giving free massage to the travelers. With this done, it is expected that the smoothness and safety of motorists who make homecoming in 2019 can be maintained until they are in their respective hometowns. The target of this community service activity is travelers in 2019 who pass through Banyuwangi City. The preparatory stages include location survey, after that coordinate with the campus to hold campus room loan licensing as a place of rest and massage place for the homecomers. In addition, we are socializing to the public that there will be a free massage at Campus C, Uniba Banyuwangi. Providing all the facilities of massages, such as mattresses, olive oil and towels. The implementation phase is carried out May 18-19, 2019. The homecomers are recorded by filling in attendance and biodata. Travelers come into the room to rest and are given massage treatment. Based on the results of community service activities that have been carried out, the people who have been going home in 2019 are happy and are greatly helped by the location of free rest and massage. The resting place is very helpful for travelers to see a long time in travel and the long distance traveled by the travelers. For free massage activities also make travelers feel more comfortable and more fit to continue their homecoming journey to their hometown.

ST. Kertha Budi Luhur is the youth organization of the Kayumas Kelod traditional banjar which was founded around 1995. One of the social activities of the Sekaa Teruna is to focus on environmental and waste issues. Related to the issue of waste ST. Kertha Budi Luhur plans to establish a waste bank. The waste bank is an alternative solution that can be done by the community in terms of waste management or management. Waste banks can increase public participation to care more about the waste they produce daily, besides that, with the existence of waste banks, the community can get economic value feedback. Therefore, in this community service, socialization and training were carried out on how to form a waste bank. This community service activity is broadly divided into initial socialization activities aimed at providing initial information about waste banks and technical training activities aimed at providing a more detailed explanation of the waste bank operations, from sorting waste to working with garbage collectors. Increased awareness of waste management by 85% of ST members Kertha Budi Luhur after the training.
