Abstract Lubuk Kertang Village has the potential for mangrove ecotourism which is currently being developed as a source of income for the community's economy apart from fishermen and agriculture. Even the mangrove ecosystem in Lubuk Kertang Village has become a tourist icon for Langkat. Apart from mangrove ecotourism, Lubuk Kertang is also unique with its processed mangrove products in the form of foods such as mangrove dodol, jeruju crackers, and mangrove syrup. However, productivity is constrained by the availability of mangrove fruit which depends on the season. Moving on from this, it is necessary to carry out community service activities to provide education about the potential and benefits of mangrove waste in the form of stems, twigs, leaves, and fruit from other aspects. Namely that apart from being processed as food material, mangrove waste can also be processed into other high-value products, one of which is a natural dye. Activities carried out are in the form of socialization and education about the potential and benefits of mangrove waste as a natural coloring agent to the manufacturing process. Furthermore, the natural dyes that have been produced are applied in the coloring process through the ecoprint workshop/training. The media used are cloth/textiles, paper, sheepskin, and ceramics (mugs). The response of the community, represented by women from independent women farmer groups as well as some students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah and the Village Head was very good. Even some mothers from independent women farmer groups routinely continue to make ecoprints in the form of cloth, pashmina, and t-shirts. Their products have also been included in exhibition activities in Lubuk Kertang Village. The Head of Lubuk Kertang Village hopes that there will be sustainability from independent women farmer groups to make ecoprint products to increase income from the Lubuk Kertang community.   Abstrak Desa Lubuk Kertang memiliki potensi ekowisata mangrove yang saat ini terus dikembangkan sebagai salah satu pemasukan sumber pendapatan ekonomi masyarakat selain nelayan dan pertanian. Bahkan ekosistem mangrove di Desa Lubuk Kertang menjadi ikon wisata Langkat. Selain ekowisata mangrove, Lubuk Kertang juga khas dengan produk olahan mangrovenya berupa makanan seperti dodol mangrove, kerupuk jeruju dan sirup dari buah mangrove. Namun produktivitasnya terkendala oleh ketersediaan buah mangrove yang tergantung dengan musim. Beranjak dari hal tersebut maka perlu dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat untuk memberikan edukasi tentang potensi dan manfaat limbah tanaman mangrove baik berupa batang, ranting, daun dan buah dari aspek yang lain. Yaitu bahwa selain dapat diolah sebagai bahan pangan limbah tanaman mangrove juga dapat diolah menjadi produk bernilai tinggi lainnya, salah satunya sebagai pewarna alami. Kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah dalam bentuk sosialisasi dan edukasi tentang potensi dan manfaat limbah tanaman mangrove sebagai zat pewarna alami hingga proses pembuatannya. Selanjutnya pewarna alami yang telah dihasilkan diaplikasikan dalam proses pewarnaan melalui kegiatan workshop/pelatihan ecoprint. Media yang digunakan adalah kain/tekstil, kertas, kulit domba dan keramik (mug). Respon masyarakat yang diwakili oleh ibu-ibu kelompok tani wanita mandiri serta beberapa siswa Madrasah Tsanawiyah dan Kepala Desa sangat baik. Bahkan beberapa ibu-ibu dari kelompok tani wanita mandiri secara rutin terus membuat olahan ecoprint berupa kain, pashmina dan kaos. Hasil produksi mereka juga telah diikutserakan pada kegiatan pameran di Desa Lubuk Kertang. Kepala Desa Lubuk Kertang mengharapkan adanya keberlanjutan dari kelompok tani wanita mandiri untuk membuat produk-produk ecoprint dalam rangka menambah pemasukan dari masyarakat Lubuk Kertang.

The specific objectives and targets of these community service activities are to provide counseling on the rejuvenation of oil palm and the legality of farmers' land so that there is a change in the knowledge, understanding and skills of farmers who are members of farmer groups in an effort to want to rejuvenate oil palm plants and to provide an understanding of the importance of legality Farmer's land as an inseparable part of the structure of the requirements in order to get financial assistance to rejuvenate oil palm plants. The methods used are counseling, outreach, demonstration and assistance when the extension activities take place. Counseling methods provide counseling and conduct training after counseling. The demonstration method is carried out at the time of delivery of material. Farmers immediately practiced how to rejuvenate oil palm plants, after that they were given counseling about the ways and functions of farmers' land legality and farmer group institutions in order to get funds in groups. The assistance method aims to monitor developments after counseling to farmers by involving agents of change, namely community leaders, traditional leaders, the village government and banking institutions. In general, the implementation of community service in Kerta Jaya and Tassel Jaya villages, Kempas Subdistrict, Indragiri Hilir Regency can run well and well..

Banyuwangi Regency is one of the agricultural centers in East Java province and Indonesia. Mostly,Banyuwangi people work as farmers due to the fertil soil and wide amount of agricultural land in Banyuwangi . Thelarge number of people who work as farmers initiating the formation of farmer groups. One of the farmer groups in theSrono sub-district of Banyuwangi is the "Tan Selo 1" farmers group located in the village of Sukomaju and the "TanSelo 2" farmers group in Sukonatar village. The normal average price of one banana bunch in Banyuwangi is between50-60 thousand depending on the type and quality of bananas. Problems arise when the quantity of bananas in the marketarose, the price of 1 bunch of bananas decreases dramatically. The price of 1 bunch which is usually set at 50-60thousand drops drastically to only 20-30 thousand. This is certainly a problem for farmers in the Tan Selo group. The lackof knowledge of Tan Selo farmers about alternative variants of processed banana based products and the lack ofknowledge of the marketing strategies make it hard for the Tan Selo farmers to increase the economic value of bananaswhich have been used as an alternative income for farmers. Therefore, the solutions offered to overcome the problems offarmers include: equipping and improving farmers' knowledge about the variety of processed banana-based foods andtheir marketing strategies, conducting training to make variations on banana-based foods, conducting training oneffective marketing strategies. Overall, a series of community service programs were carried out perfectly as it expected.The percentage of participants' understanding in choosing high quality bananas is 85%, the percentage of participants’ability in processing banana-based foods is 86%, and percentage of participants who successfully sell processed foodproducts by utilizing online shopping sites is 70%

This community service aims to increase insight into the use of goat manure as fertilizer mixed with dolomite with very minimal expenditure of money using equipment provided by the USU Community Service Team in 2019 which was carried out in Persadanta Village, Barusjahe District, Karo District. The specific target of this service is to increase the productivity of agricultural products related to the use of fertilizers and be able to sell them to other communities, so as to increase community income for the achievement of a prosperous community, especially farmer groups in the village. So far, the people directly use goat manure as fertilizer for their plants. This is very detrimental to the community because the process is long to be able to become fertilizer and reduced nutrient elements that are poured into plants openly. Besides the use of dolomite mixed with goat manure is very good because dolomite is very much and easily obtained in Tanah Karo. Therefore, it is necessary to give insight and knowledge to the community, especially the Rumah Rih Hamlet Village Group Persadanta Village about the use of goat manure mixed with dolomite. So that people who have been buying fertilizer at a high price can manage it themselves by using the goat manure grinding equipment with the method to be implemented, namely counseling, training, direct practice and work evaluation.

Pembuatan pewarna alami untuk alternatif pewarna berbasis air merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) bahan alam yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pewarna alami untuk alternatif pewarna berbasis air (2) alat yang digunakan dalam pembuatan pewarna alami untuk alternatif pewarna berbasis air (3) proses pembuatan pewarna alami untuk alternatif pewarna berbasis air (4) warna yang dihasilkan dari pewarna alami untuk altenatif pewarna berbasis air pada media kertas. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, pembuatan pewarna alami, dan uji pewarna alami pada media kertas. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) bahan alami yang digunakan adalah warna merah dari kembang kertas, warna biru dari bunga telang, warna kuning dari kunyit, warna hijau dari daun suji dan daun katuk, warna cokelat dari buah tinta dan biji kluwak, warna hitam dari arang (2) alat dan bahan yang digunakan adalah cobek dan ulekan, mangkok, saringan, pisau (3) proses pembuatan pewarna alami dengan proses ekstraksi melalui dua tahap yaitu penghalusan bahan dan penyaringan (4) hasil pewarna alami yang diterapkan pada media kertas yaitu bunga kertas menghasilkan warna merah muda, bunga telang menghasilkan warna biru muda, kunyit menghasilkan warna kuning oranye sampai kuning kecokelatan, daun suji menghasikan warna hijau muda, daun katuk menghasilkan warna hijau cerah sampai hijau tua, biji kluwak menghasilkan warna coklat tua, buah tinta menghasilkan warna cokelat tua, arang menghasilkan warna hitam pekat. Kata Kunci : pewarna alami, alternatif pewarna berbasis air The made of natural dyes for alternative dyes on water-based was a research experiment, which aimed at knowing (1) material of nature that could be used as a natural dye to alternative of a water-based, (2) the tool used in the manufacture of natural dyes for alternative of a water-based, (3) the process of making natural dyes for alternative of a water-based, and (4) the color produced from natural dyes for alternatives of a water-based on the media. The research was a descriptive qualitative research. The accumulations data were done by using observation, the creation of a natural dye, and a natural dye on the media. This research result indicated that (1) natural materials used were the red colors of the development of the paper, the blue color of Telang, the yellow color of turmeric, green color from the leaves of Suji. and leaf of Katuk, the brown color of the ink and seeds of Kluwak, black from charcoal, (2) the tools and materials used were mortar and see "ulekan", bowl, sieve, (3) the process of making natural dyes with extraction process through two stages, namely, refining materials and the screening and (4) the results of a natural dye were applied to the media of Bougenvilleproduced the color of pink, Telang produced a navy blue, turmeric produced orange yellow to amber, Suji leaf produced color of green, leaf of Katuk produced green light to dark green vegetables, seeds of Kluwak produced a dark brown color, fruit of ink produced the color of dark brown, charcoal produced the color black.keyword : natural dyes, alternative color.

Abstract: Community Service Activity is conducted in the form of training in the utilization of information technology in data processing that aims to provide knowledge and skills for the village apparatus in Buntu Pane subdistrict in data processing that is computerized as one way in making an institution decision.The target in this activity is the village apparatus in Buntu Pane sub-district which is approximately 25 people. Training in data processing is done by lecture method, demonstration, and practice with a question and answer. The lecture method is used to explain the introductory concept of the introduction of SPSS software as one of the media in data processing. Demonstration method is used to show a working process that is stages of recognizing the existing tools in the software SPSS and know each function, while the method of practice to practice data processing based on information technology by processing a certain data. While the question and answer method to give the participants the opportunity in consultation to overcome obstacles in understanding the material already obtained. The end result of activities is expected to accelerate and facilitate the employees in decision making for the future.Keywords: Data processing, SPSS software, computer, information technologyAbstrak: Pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan salah satu bentuk Tridarma perguruan Tinggi yang harus dilaksanakan  oleh seorang dosen. Pada kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini akan mengimplementasikan kompetensi keilmuan yang dimiliki agar memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat, dimana kegiatan ini dilakukkan dalam bentuk pelatihan dalam pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam pengolahan data yang bertujuan memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi para perangkat desa di kecamatan Buntu Pane dalam pengolahan data  yang bersifat komputerisasi sebagai salah satu cara dalam pengambilan keputusan sebuah instansi.Sasaran dalam kegiatan PKM  ini adalah para perangkat desa di kecamatan Buntu Pane yang berjumlah lebih kurang 25 orang. Pelatihan dalam pengolahan data ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, demonstrasi, dan latihan yang disertai tanya jawab. Metode ceramah digunakan untuk menjelaskan konsep pengantar dari pengenalan software SPSS sebagai salah satu media dalam pengolahan data. Metode demonstrasi dipakai untuk menunjukkan suatu proses kerja yaitu tahap-tahap mengenalan tool-tool yang ada pada software SPSS dan mengetahui masing-masing fungsinya, sedangkan metode latihan untuk mempraktikkan pengolahan data berbasis teknologi informasi dengan mengolah sebuah data tertentu. Sementara metode tanya jawab untuk memberi kesempatan para peserta dalam berkonsultasi untuk mengatasi kendala dalam memahami materi yang sudah didapat. Hasil akhir  dari kegiatan PKM ini diharapkan dapat mempercepat dan mempermudah para pegawai dalam pengambilan keputusan untuk masa yang akan datang.Kata kunci: Pengolahan data, Software SPSS, komputer,  teknologi informasi

This community service aim to motivate kelompok Tani Gunungpati 03 Kampung Alam Malon and kelompok Tani Gunungpati 02 Nglarang, Gunungpati to start planting Indigofera. Production can be used to fulfill a part of batik natural dye for cheaper. Special target is availability qualified Indigofera with criteria dark green leaves (green bluish) and oval shape with brownish black seed. The target is from 1000 seeds can be generate 1000 qualified plant ready to harvest in 3 months, and next re-harvest in 2 months. Some activities already done such as socialization community service attended by 36 of farmer team and they held active discussion about the use and additional income from planting indigo. Training in make natural dye paste from indigo is given to 15 of farmer team by experienced trainer. The result of this activity were the farmer group be able to cultivate indigofera, built 2 water shelter to drainage indigo plant. The result of seedlings is not satisfied yet because the growth of sprouts were not simultaneously and not applying hormone gibrelin technology so that for next step need revision in raise seeding. The farmer group ca easily harvest their indigofera to make paste for batik dye color

The development of the website at this time has grown so fast due to the development of the internet infrastructure which is quite rapid. This has resulted in many industry players, educational institutions, health institutions and others using websites and other online-based applications as business and information delivery. The village government does not want to be left behind in providing excellent service to its citizens by providing information on the media website. The community service carried out introduced Balongsari Village as a tourist village with the target of promoting economic, social and cultural activities. The method used is in the form of counseling and website creation training. The continuity of this community service activity is in the form of a website created that is followed up by being managed by the local government to be used as a promotional media.

Lembah Sari Village, Rumbai Pesisir Subdistrict, there are a number of farmer groups from one of the Workshop farmer groups, some of the farmer groups available are inactive. During the survey meeting with the chairman of GAPOKTAN, he stated that his members wanted to be re-empowered in other words, the Workshop group was reactivated in the activities of its farmer groups. Most of the members are pure housewives who only take care of the family, without any desire and willingness to seek additional hope. Based on this, our community service team from the faculty of economics gathered provided the skills and empowered the mothers of the LokaKarya farmer group in Lembah Sari village in their skills in making women's accessories. The purpose of this Community Service is to produce products in the form of bross, necklaces or bracelets for women's accessories that can help increase family money and to motivate mothers of members of the Lembah Sari village farmer group to become entrepreneurs by producing their products. The specific target that wants to succeed is so that the members of the farmer group are more creative and innovative to have a business with cheap capital. The method used to achieve the intended purpose is to conduct counseling about the interests of entrepreneurship and training in making bross hijab and also not using large capital considering the members of the farmer group workshops have less established investments. The methods of implementing the program that will be carried out are: understanding in entrepreneurship, training in making headscarf accessories, assistance in making headscarf accessories. All of these methods are an integral part of this IbM program. The results and results obtained in this PKM, when the pretest of the majority of PKM participants were still wrong, the participants were less likely to postpone the pretest, because some members of the farmer group had received training, some were active in the village PKK, and thus increased the number of participants who did not need the spirit of the members present. And in the simulation the participants quickly understood it and were creative. The essence of this service requires motivating members of the farmer group to be able to be enthusiastic about entrepreneurship, no matter how small the effort that we do, still must be with perseverance and sincerity.

The Village

Jampang Bogor village was one of the areas of fish farming and one of the livelihoods of its people. By utilizing situ in the village, various kinds of fish were produced. Koi ornamental fish and catfish were the hallmarks of these fish farming. Marketing was carried out by fish farmer groups directly to consumers and using online media such as Facebook, Instagram, and other social media, but still found obstacles in marketing. Community Service was conducted on 28-30 October 2018 with participants representing several groups of fish farmers in Jampang Bogor Village. The method used in the form of expository was the delivery of verbal and inquiry material, namely learning that emphasized the process of critical thinking and analytical related marketing management knowledge with an in-depth understanding of the material on how to market the results of online fish farming. Community Service activities produced an increase in knowledge for fish farmers in Jampang Village Bogor, how to manage a fish farming business to be better, able to compete and could be an example for other farmers. The Community Service activities were expected to provide inspiration and motivation for the lecturers/researchers who would carry out the same activities, the knowledge provided could benefit the community, academics, and families.

Becoming an investor at the present time is not difficult because through one of the programs from the investment gallery that has collaborated with the existing universities in Indonesia is one of the media to attract students to become young investors. Not just students, through village programs saving shares from this gallery which gives equal opportunities to villagers to become investors. Therefore, community service activities were carried out in the village of Arsopura, Keerom Regency, Papua Province which aims to conduct education and the introduction of capital markets to rural communities to also be involved as capital market players. The final result of this activity is that there were 20 residents who directly open their share accounts and can immediately become an investor.
