Community Service is one of the Tri dharmas of Higher Education to be one of the accesses to achieve this vision. The community in Banjaragung Village was chosen as a partner to introduce Health Tea drinks made from pure spices. Through this activity, the author hopes to be able to carry out the mission to realize the learning process in the field of creative economic entrepreneurship with qualities that are relevant to the needs of today's society. Spices and especially sappan wood in Banjaragung Village have not been processed properly and lacked innovation. Considering that today's society needs drinks and food that can increase the body's immune system with spices, community service is made to make training to process secang wood and spices such as red ginger, lemongrass, cinnamon and tea leaves into products that are quickly consumed. by making health tea bags. Secang wood plant or the Latin nameCaesalpinia sappan is one type of spice that can be used for its woody stems or fruit. The components of bioactive compounds contained inwood, namely brazilian, brazilein, 3'-O-methyl braziline, sappansappan, chalcone, sappancalchone are known as antioxidants. Research on sappan wood as an antioxidant and can be used as a natural dye has been a lot. The counseling carried out is expected to provide insight to the community in Banjaragung Village about how to make Health Tea drinks so that they can help improve the economic level of the community.

<p class="06IsiAbstrak">This paper aims to portray the role of Higher Education in mainstreaming Indonesian nationalism insight amid the dynamic issue of nationalism in society. It specifically focuses on the extent to which the insight is implemented in the Three Pillars of Higher Education or Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi at IAIN Pekalongan. The study used a descriptive-qualitative approach with data sourced from Renstra, academic instructional guideline, research and community service in 2017 and 2018, period that marks early years of IAIN Pekalongan after its conversion from STAIN. From data analysis, this reflective study argues that, first; the implementation of Indonesian nationalism insight in teaching has been effective only at the policy level. Second, its implementation in research is still limited, i.e. 11 of 134 studies (8.2%). Third, its implementation in community service has not been accommodated explicitly because the existing programs revolve around community empowerment in specific social and religious areas. The study also presents challenges analysis in the end of discussion.</p>

AbstrakPemberdayaan Masyarakat Melalui  Kesenian  Di Desa Kedu Kecamatan Kedu Kabupaten Temanggung merupakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh dosen dan mahasiswa melalui progran Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN). Kegiatan itu merupakan salah satu dari Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi terutama  pengabdian  ilmu  kepada  masyarakat.  Pemberdayaan  masyarakat  melalui  kesenian  akan menumbuhkan  masyarakat merasa memiliki terhadap kesenian tradisionalnya.  Dengan diterjunkannya mahasiswa ISI Surakarta ke lapangan KKN yang didampingi oleh dosen maka mahasiswa dapat  mengamati, menganalisis dan dapat menemukan solusi agar  masyarakat dapat melestarikan dan mengembangkan potensi kesenian yang dimiliki. Untuk dapat menumbuhkan masyarakat memiliki kepedulian  terhadap keseniaannya diperlukan beberapa metode dan langkah-langkah yaitu  metode pendekatan, sosialisasi dan koordinasi. Perubahan kehidupan masyarakat sangat berpengaruh pada perubahan sosial, tata nilai, yang akan mempengaruhi  perubahan dan perkembangan kesenian.  Perubahan nilai kesenian akan ditentukan oleh perubahan masyarakat pendukungya. masyarakat berpengaruh pada kreativitas seni, sehingga  seni tradisional selalu berkembang,  berubah,  sesuai dengan perubahan masyarakat penggunanya. Seni  tradisional  akan  menjadi  bagian  dari  kehidupan  masyarakatnya.  Hasil pelaksanaan  kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat, mahasiswa  memberikan andil yang sangat besar bagi masyarakat di Kelurahan Kedu, Kecamatan Kedu Kabupaten Temanggung. Masyarakat menjadikan kesenian sangat penting bagi kehidupan. Dengan adanya mahasiswa KKN di wilayah Kedu ini dapat menumbuhkan kecintaan masyarakat terhadap kesenian yang dimilikinya. Changes in the value of art will be determined by changes in supporting society. society influences the creativity of art, so that traditional art always develops, changes, in accordance with  changes  in  the  user  community.  Traditional  art  will  become  a  part  of  people’s  lives.   The results of the implementation of community service activities, students give a very large contribution to  the community  in  Kedu Village,  Kedu  District,  Temanggung Regency.  Society  makes art  very important for life. With the existence of Community Service Program  (KKN ) students in the Kedu region, it can foster community love for their art. The outbreak of the corona virus has forced orphanage children to gather at home to carry out learning and playing activities. The activity of gathering in one house can cause a high risk of Covid-19 transmission. The implementation of the community service program carried out by lecturers from the Food Science and Technology Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Sumatera Utara is a training for making red ginger wedang at LKSA Anak Gembira, Medan Tuntungan, Medan. Red ginger wedang is a drink that is healthy and refreshing for the body, where the aim of this training is that partners can practice it and consume it to maintain their immune system at LKSA Anak Gembira in preventing Covid-19. The training activity for making red ginger drink was attended by 24 people consisting of 2 orphanage owners and 22 orphanage children. After that, the consumption of red ginger was carried out and questionnaires were administered to measure the level of understanding of the benefits and preferences of the respondents towards red ginger after the training was held. The results of the questionnaire show that 93% respondents understand the benefits of red ginger for health and 87% like red ginger wedang.

Carrying out community service activities for educators in one of the effort to carry out their duties as the implementation of the Tridarma of Higher Education. With this service, it is an effort by the University of West Sulawesito implement the Tridarma of Higher Education to contribute science and technology to the community, Based on this, we carry out service activities at Majene Port, Majene Regency, West Sulawesi Province with the aim of increasing knowledge, understanding regarding the problem of prevention ang spread of COVID-19 by implementing health protocols for passengers, crew members, and especially for workers (port workers). The expected output targetsfrom this activity are : 1) protocol development  for preventing the spread of COVID-19 in the port of Majene 2) Forstering precautions for the spread of COVID-19 infection in the Majene port environment 3) Forstering risk communication and community empowerment in the form of participation and concern for public.

Community Service (PkM) is a medium to connect higher education/university with the community in order to make community being able to face challenges. In the future, especially in the era of globalization, entrepreneurship in Kuningan Regency is one of the pilot projects that can be used as opportunities to improve community welfare through entrepreneurship opportunities. This service aims at Community Empowerment through improving the management of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) for village officials and BUMDes managers as a basis for increasing capacity both individually and government in Cibinuang Village, Kuningan District, Kuningan Regency. The method used in this activity is the lecture method, question and answer method and discussion method. The core objective of this service is community empowerment through improving the management of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes), so that BUMDes managers have the ability to run programs that are suitable on target so they can be accounted for in accordance with applicable regulations, especially in Cibinuang Village, Kuningan District, Kuningan Regency. It is hoped that further program in the future, it requires follow-up by the Regional Government and all related parties and it is necessary to carry out a closer and more planned collaboration between universities and local governments to explore the potencies that exist in the region.Pengabdian  kepada Masyarakat  (PkM)  merupakan  suatu  media  untuk  menjembatani  dunia pendidikan  dengan  masyarakat  dimana  Perguruan  Tinggi  dihadapkan  pada  masalah  bagaimana  agar  warga masyarakat mampu menghadapi tantangan. Lebih jauh ke depan di era globalisasi  dengan berwirausaha di Kabupaten Kuningan menjadi  salah  satu  pilot  proyek  yang  dapat  dijadikan  peluang  untuk  meningkatkan  kesejahteraan masyarakat  melalui  peluang  berwirausaha.  Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk Pemberdayaan  Masyarakat  melalui peningkatan pengelolaan Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) bagi aparatur desa dan Pengelola BUMDes sebagai dasar untuk meningkatkan kemampuan baik secara individu maupun secara lembaga desa di Desa Cibinuang Kecamatan Kuningan Kabupaten Kuningan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu metode ceramah, tanya jawab dan metode diskusi. Adapun tujuan inti dari pengabdian ini adalah pemberdayaan  masyarakat  melalui peningkatan pengelolaan Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes), sehingga pengelola BUMDes memilki kemampuan dalam menjalankan program yang tepat sasaran agar bisa dipertanggungjawabkan sesuai dengan aturan yang berlaku, khususnya di Desa Cibinuang Kecamatan Kuningan Kabupaten Kuningan.  Harapan  lebih  jauh  ke  depan tentunya  diperlukan tindak  lanjut  oleh  Pemerintah  Daerah dan semua pihak yang terkait serta perlu dilakukan kerjasama yang lebih erat dan terencana antara Perguruan Tinggi dengan Pemerintah Daerah untuk menggali potensi-potensi yang ada di wilayah tersebut.

This Community Service is carried out to socialize the importance of character education values ​​at SMP As-Syarifiyah Purwasari, Karawang Regency. This service to the community is also an embodiment of one of the dharmas of higher education, namely community service, which is interdisciplinary (interdisciplinary) and is an applicable component of science, technology and art to help people's lives. With Community Service it is hoped that it can help the community, especially the teachers at SMP Asy-Syarifiyah Purwasari Kab.Karawang in facing the difficulties faced both at school in the teaching and learning process or outside of school. In addition, students can also apply the values ​​of character education both at school and in daily life, so that this activity is not only ceremonial but actually provides benefits to the community. Through this Community Service, it can also help realize government programs in the context of implementing equitable development in rural areas.

ABSTRAK: Masyarakat di kelurahan Sejinjang menanam Jahe merah. Jahe merah ini diolah menjadi minuman tradisional berupa bandrek jahe dalam bentuk serbuk. Olahan ini telah dijual oleh masyarakat dalam kemasan tradisional dan dengan nilai yang tidak tinggi. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk memberdayakan masyarakat memalui peningkatan nilai produk Bandrek Jahe. Pelaksana pengabdian kepada masyarakat memberikan bantuan Kelompok binaan P2WKSS (Peningkatan Peranan Wanita Menuju Keluarga Sehat Sejahtera) untuk melakukan pengurusan izin P-IRT ke Puskesmas Tanjung Pinang dan Dinas Perindustrian dan Perdagangan Kota Jambi. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat sudah berhasil meningkatkan nilai produk bandrek jahe yang dibuat oleh masyarakat Kelurahan Sejinjang.Kata Kunci: Minuman Traditional, Jahe Merah, no izin P-IRT. Community Empowerment through Upgrading Product Value of Bandrek Jahe in Sijinjang of Jambi CityABSTRACT: People in Sijinjang of Jambi City planted red ginger. This red ginger was transform to be traditional drinking named Bandrek Jahe in powder form. This powder had been marketed by this people community through traditonal packaging with lower value. This community service program aimed to empower community through upgrading producy value of Bandrek Jahe. The activist of community service progra helped the target group named P2WKSS (Women Empowerment to Healthy and Wealthy Family) to proceed the permission number of P-IRT to Public Health Tanjung Pinang and Departement of Industry and Trade Jambi City. Islamic higher college not only limited to higher education that famous at Islamic history like madrasah (e.g. Nizamiyah), and al-Jami’ah (e.g. al-Azhar). Yet, Islamic higher college is the implementation of learning process that can be categorized in higher education stage, that being practiced in Moslem society, even still in non-formal or informal form before madrasah existence. Several epistemologies branch indeed take place at formal institution, while some epistemologies branch theoretically applied at formal institution, but it’s practiced at non-formal institutions. These non-formal institutions were still reflecting Islamic higher education level.

AbstractEntrepreneurship educators can maximise the effectiveness of their delivery by having a firm grasp of the different educational philosophies and theories that underpin entrepreneurship education pedagogy and practice. A particular educational philosophical orientation underlies, directs, and drives educator practices and should align with what the teaching seeks to impart and achieve, and the roles the learners and educator play in the learning process. Whilst educators might not always be explicitly aware of their philosophical orientation, it will direct and drive their pedagogic practice and have implications for what they deliver, and how they deliver it. The benefits of bringing together different learning theories, philosophies, and approaches for entrepreneurship education has previously been posited in the literature. However, it has been highlighted that connections between educational theory and practice are limited, and that the field of entrepreneurship education could be advanced through providing links between education literature, theory, and learning. This paper advances the literature by linking educational philosophy and theory to entrepreneurship education and pedagogy in higher education. It discusses and highlights how behaviourism, cognitivism, constructivism, and humanism can be used to underpin and support learning in entrepreneurship education. This meets calls for the conceptualisation of how educational philosophies and theories can be integrated into entrepreneurship education to support learners.
