One of the efforts to overcome the clean water crisis in the archipelago, one of them is Merbau Island, is to make a simple technology that is used to accommodate excess water during the rainy season and next, the water can be utilized for various purposes when it has been needed. The technology is rainwater storage building (PAH). This community service activity was conducted by making a model of PAH building at one of the residents’ houses and conducting a counselling activity to residents in relation to both of calculation and planning of the PAH building, and also the importance of consuming clean water. The purposes of this community service are to give an understanding and increasing knowledge about the needed for rainwater harvesting technology so that daily clean water needs will be fulfilled by basic infrastructure of the ideal PAH system based on independent-communities. The volume of this rainwater reservoir is needed at 3 m3 (3,000 litres) from the roof area of 36 m2. This rainwater is used to meet the needs of drinking, cooking and washing of 15 litres/person/day. The number of residents in the house is 5 people. The results obtained from this activity are the construction of rainwater reservoirs with a volume of 1,000 litres with good and correct rainwater harvesting system equipment. Thus the lack of 2,000 litres of rainwater storage must be managed independently by the homeowner.

Fresh water is a vital requirement in human daily life. Teluk Bakung Village relies on fresh water supplies from the Ambawang River and wells made by the community. The condition of well water in Teluk Bakung Village tends to be the color of ground water which is influenced by the roots of trees, blackish brown and high iron content. The purpose of this Community Service activity is to carry out water filtration on gambut soil to improve the condition of fresh water sources at Al-Muhajirin Mosque in Mu'allaf village, Teluk Bakung Village, Sungai Ambawang District, Kubu Raya Regency, Kalimantan Barat as meeting the mosque's needs and the society. The method of applying IPTEKS is by transferring IPTEKS by improving the physical condition of the Al-Muhajirin Mosque building, the application of clean water filtration as well as training the local staffs for operations and maintenance as well as the plumbing network. It is expected that the addition of aeration system groundwater that has iron content will make it clearer than just filtration which has been carried out at that location.

The Community Service program activity of the Electricity and Renewable Energy Faculty lecturer team at the PLN Technology Institute for the 2019/2020 fiscal year was carried out in Sukadana village, Ciomas district, Serang region, Banten precisely at RT 011 RW 003 Cilatak hamlet. The selection of Sukadana village as a place to implement Community Service is because this village is still experiencing problems in the construction and development facilities and infrastructure. The problems that are currently being experienced by villagers regarding the clean water distribution for ablution of villagers in the mosque. During this time for ablution in mosque, villagers only rely on water from mountain springs whose distribution relies on gravitational pressure through a plastic hose and accommodated in a large tub located beside the mosque. In addition to being used for ablution, water is also used by villagers to bathing, washing, etc., so that when used for ablution sometimes it is no longer clean because it has been mixed with soapy water used for bathing and washing. Based on those problems, our team provided solution to partner in the form of infrastructure development and clean water supply by reconfiguring the clean water distribution installation for ablution in the mosque by installing solar water pump. The method used in the implementation of this Community Service  activity is to approach the villagers  during the survey through interviews by providing solution to the problem and conducting questionnaires and socialization in the form of a brief education. The results of the activities have been done by installing 2 units of DC water pump @180 Watt, 4 units of polycrystalline solar modules @100 Wp, 2 units of battery @100 Ah 12 V and 2 units of solar charge controller. Difficulty in meeting one’s basic daily needs such as clean water in order to fulfill a healthy, clean and productive life is a significant problem for people living on remote islands. Rainwater is the only source of clean water for the community on Merbau Island because of the low quality of the surface and groundwater resources. The majority of Merbau Island is covered by peat and lowlands; hence the rainwater that falls on the land surface is generally contaminated with peat water, which tends to be more acidic. Frequent rainfall at the location produces an abundant volume of water that is sufficient enough to meet the collective household daily demand for clean water. However, the community is not able to provide a large rainwater harvesting facility that can minimize the loss of rainwater into the rivers or seas. This study aimed to obtain data on the field conditions used as the basis for planning RWH systems for domestic needs so as to meet the need for sustainable clean water on Merbau Island. The results show that the highest rainfall recorded in 2013 was 3,164.3 mm. Such an amount of rainwater can fulfill the daily clean water requirements for each household on Merbau Island. The population of poor people on the island is approximately 44%, which results in around 73% of people not having an adequate rainwater harvesting system. The average roof area data, the number of family members and the type of roof, being 213 m2, 6 people and zinc (0.9) respectively, using the Rain Cycle v2 software, obtained the result that a 12 m2 tank is needed to meet the need for clean water throughout the year.

Kata Kunci: Avulsi gigi, ligamen periodontal, replantasi gigi, trauma dentoalveolar ABSTRACT Dental avulsion is a common type of injury that causes teeth to detach from the alveolar socket. This type of dentoalveolar trauma results in severed periodontal ligaments with or without alveolar bone fracture. Although the ideal treatment is dental replantation immediately at the site of the trauma, this may not be practicable in every case. The community still does not know the first aid efforts in the management of dental avulsion before replanting to maintain the viability of the tissue around the loose tooth. This community service activity is carried out to increase community knowledge about how to clean and store teeth properly with the aim of increasing the success of treatment in the Covid-19 pandemic. The implementation of this activity to the community includes making educational animated videos and uploading them to the online video platform "Youtube". The responses obtained from the community were carried out through a questionnaire. Filling out the questionnaire by the community (48 people) showed that 42% were very satisfied; 48% satisfied; 6% were quite satisfied; 0% dissatisfied, and 4% are very dissatisfied with the educational video shown on the YouTube platform. The high level of community satisfaction is expected to be balanced with an increase in public knowledge and awareness about the emergency management of dental avulsion during the Covid-19 pandemic, which is presented from an educational animated video.  Keywords: Dental avulsion, periodontal ligament, dental replantation, dentoalveolar trauma

Rainwater harvesting is implemented appropriately by striving to use costs that are quite cheap and efficient, but still has many benefits for meeting clean water needs. In this study, the rainwater harvesting model to be analyzed was using the cistern method. The advantage is that it is easier to apply, the amount of water collected is quite large, and it does not require a large area of land. By implementing a culture of harvesting rainwater, can get several benefits, including reducing runoff which can prevent the UTU campus area from inundation and flooding. The average volume of rainwater that can be harvested using a 5-year return period is 110581.12 liter/day with an average volume of water requirements of 7452.09 liters/day. From the results of the rainwater harvesting analysis, it can be concluded that this method is capable of being applied where the analysis results show that the harvested rainwater can meet the water needs of users on the Teuku Umar University campus. In the future, it will be planning where the excess water stored in the cistern will be channeled into infiltration wells to maintain groundwater sources sustainably.

ABSTRACTSusunan Baru is a village located in Tanjung Karang Barat sub-district, Bandar Lampung City, Lampung. Kelurahan Susunan Baru often receives clean water assistance in the form of clean water distribution. This is done in response to the difficulty of access to clean water in the area due to the rocky soil conditions and highlands. Already, Susunan Baru Village has had difficulty getting clean water when the dry season arrives. Community Service Activities are expected to provide knowledge about how to obtain alternative sources of clean water from rainwater and increase understanding of the importance of utilizing rain water as a source of clean water for bathing and washing needs and are expected to provide new skills for the community in making rainwater harvesting technology that can become a source of clean water to meet the needs of clean water at the household level. The rain harvesting tool that has been made functions well because when it rains, the rainwater enters the rain harvesting tool and is collected. By calculating the volume of rainwater with various assumptions, it is found that the water that can be stored for a week is as much as 1350 liters. If in one day the water used to wash hands reaches 60 liters. Then the collected water is able to meet the needs of washing hands for 22 days. From the results of the Community Service, it is known that the Kelurahan can save water use for washing hands for 22 days by filling up rain harvesting tools, especially if it rains more than 3 times a week. The existence of storage from rainwater adds new water sources that can be used for daily activities and becomes an alternative in the provision of clean water Keywords: rain water; rain water harvesting;source of clean water.
