Malang Regency is one of the districts in East Java which is famous for its food business. One of them is the salted egg business run by Mr. Musta'in which is located in Tamanharjo village, Singosari District, Malang Regency. Even though it has only been pioneered for ± 5 years, the business has survived despite being limited to a family business with its own family members. The problem of the home business lies in how efforts must be made to improve the quality of production and nutritional value of salted eggs. The method used in this service is a survey and discussion of planned activities, improving the quality of salted egg production by procuring tools and conducting training and mentoring in the process of making salted eggs MANISE (Masir, Delicious, Healthy) the taste of onions to the packaging stage, increasing the nutritional value of salted eggs with testing cholesterol levels and calcium levels in salted egg products before and after treatment by adding garlic to the dough, and monitoring and evaluating activities. This service activity starts from February to September 2018. The results achieved through this community service program are the completion of several partner problems starting with taste, attractive packaging, and increasing the nutritional value of cracker products that have low levels of cholecolols and are rich in calcium. There are several activities that support the success of service programs such as training and mentoring in making onion flavored salted eggs, steaming, tapping and packaging processes, and can increase sales turnover in new products.

Kewajiban untuk menulis karya ilmiah bagi guru mendorong pentingnya penguasaan reference management software agar kualitas sitasi dan daftar rujukan dalam karya ilmiah sesuai dengan format yang diinginkan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi guru SMKN 6 Malang tentang reference management software Zotero dan EndNote. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan selama dua hari. Selain itu, dilakukan juga survey tentang persepsi pelatihan tentang reference management software dan operasionalnya sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan. Selain itu, survey juga berisikan tentang persepsi peserta pelatihan terhadap penyampaian materi pelatihan. Dari hasil survey, diketahui mayoritas peserta pelatihan belum memahami reference management software dan pengoperasiannya. Setelah pelatihan, mayoritas peserta pelatihan berpersepsi bahwa Zotero lebih mudah untuk digunakan dibandingkan dengan End-Note. Mayoritas peserta pelatihan berpersepsi bahwa kedua reference management software yang diajarkan, baik Zotero maupun End-Note, mudah untuk digunakan dalam menulis sitasi dan daftar pustaka. Hasil survey juga menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas peserta pelatihan menyatakan tingkat penguasaan materi baik dan cara penyampaian materi oleh penyaji menarik serta interaksi penyaji dan peserta baik.Kata kunci: Reference Management Software; Zotero; End-Note; Sitasi.AbstractThe obligation to write scientific papers for teachers encourages the importance of mastering reference management software so that the quality of citations and reference lists in scientific papers are in accordance with the desired format. This community service activity aims to provide knowledge and skills for teachers of SMKN 6 Malang about Zotero and EndNote reference management software. The workshop activities were carried out for two days. In addition, a survey of the workshop participant about reference management software and operations was also conducted before and after the workshop. The survey also contained perceptions of workshop participants regarding the delivery of training materials. From the survey results, it is known that the majority of workshop participants did not understand the reference management software and its operation before attending the workshop. After the workshop, most of the participants perceived that Zotero was easier to use compared to End-Note. Most of the participants also perceived that the two reference management software taught, both Zotero and End-Note, were easy to use in writing citations and references. The survey results also showed that the majority of participants stated that the level of mastery of the material was good and the way the material was presented by the presenters was interesting and the interaction between presenters and participants was good.Keywords: Reference Management Software; Zotero; End-Note; Citation.

 ABSTRAK Hipertensi merupakan merupakan penyakit kronis yang dapat dikendalikan salah satunya dengan perawatan diri (self-care). Sehingga diharapkan dengan self-care akan meningkatkan derajat kesehatan dan kualitas hidup. Untuk mencapai keberhasilan dalam mengendalikan hipertensi, diperlukan keterlibatan unsur masyarakat, salah satunya kader kesehatan. Kader kesehatan dapat berperan serta dalam mendampingi dan men-support pasien hipertensi dalam self-care hipertensi. Namun, belum ada program yang secara khusus melatih kader kesehatan dalam mengkaji self-care hipertensi. Sehingga program pengabdian masyarakat yang berorientasi pada pemberdayaan kader kesehatan dalam self-care hipertensi diperlukan guna mencegah komplikasi dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup pasien hipertensi. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan kader dalam mengkaji self-care pada pasien hipertensi. Metode kegiatan berupa pendidikan masyarakat yaitu pelatihan kader kesehatan dalam mengkaji self-care pasien hipertensi. Target dan sasaran pada kegiatan ini adalah kader kesehatan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Pasundan Kota Bandung sebanyak 37 orang. Luaran kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan pengetahuan kader dalam mengkaji self-care pada pasien hipertensi. Evaluasi dilaksanakan dengan mengukur pengetahuan kader kesehatan sebelum dan setelah dilakukan pelatihan. Hasil kegiatan didapatkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan (α 0.000) setelah mengikuti pelatihan. Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat berupa pelatihan kader kesehatan dalam mengkaji self-care hipertensi ini efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan kader kesehatan mengenai hipertensi dan self-care hipertensi. Kata Kunci: Hipertensi, Kader Kesehatan, Self-Care  ABSTRACT Hypertension is a chronic disease that can be controlled by self-care. It is hoped that self-care will improve the health and quality of life. To achieve success in controlling hypertension, it is necessary to involve one element of the community (health cadre). Health cadres can participate in assisting and supporting hypertensive patients in self-care hypertension. However, there is no program that specifically trains health cadres in assessing hypertension self-care. So that community service programs oriented to empowering health cadres in hypertension self-care are needed to prevent complications and improve the quality of life for hypertensive patients. The purpose of this activity is to increase health cadre knowledge in assessing self-care in hypertensive patients. The method of activity is the training of health cadres in assessing self-care for hypertensive patients.  The target of this activity was 37 health cadres in the work area of Pasundan Health Center in Bandung City. The outcome of activities is an increase in cadre knowledge in assessing self-care in hypertensive patients. Evaluation is seen from the knowledge of health cadres before and after training. The result of the activity was that there were differences in knowledge of health cadres (α 0.000) after attending the training. Health cadre training in assessing hypertension self-care is effective in increasing health cadres’ knowledge about hypertension and hypertension self-care. Keywords: Health Cadres, Hypertension, Self-Care

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk memenuhi kewajiban dosen untuk melakukan tridharma perguruan tinggi. Untuk itu sudah menjadi kewajiban bagi dosen berbagi pengetahuan dan wawasan melalui penyuluhan pengembangan manajemen sumber daya manusia agar senantiasa berupaya mencapai tujuan organisasi dengan efektif dan efisien. Dan juga bertujuan Karang Taruna Kampung serua poncol dapat menjalankan fungsi dan perannya secara optimal sehingga mendatangkan manfaat bagi Kampung serua poncol. Banyuwangi Regency is one of the agricultural centers in East Java province and Indonesia. Mostly,Banyuwangi people work as farmers due to the fertil soil and wide amount of agricultural land in Banyuwangi . Thelarge number of people who work as farmers initiating the formation of farmer groups. One of the farmer groups in theSrono sub-district of Banyuwangi is the "Tan Selo 1" farmers group located in the village of Sukomaju and the "TanSelo 2" farmers group in Sukonatar village. The normal average price of one banana bunch in Banyuwangi is between50-60 thousand depending on the type and quality of bananas. Problems arise when the quantity of bananas in the marketarose, the price of 1 bunch of bananas decreases dramatically. The price of 1 bunch which is usually set at 50-60thousand drops drastically to only 20-30 thousand. This is certainly a problem for farmers in the Tan Selo group. The lackof knowledge of Tan Selo farmers about alternative variants of processed banana based products and the lack ofknowledge of the marketing strategies make it hard for the Tan Selo farmers to increase the economic value of bananaswhich have been used as an alternative income for farmers. Therefore, the solutions offered to overcome the problems offarmers include: equipping and improving farmers' knowledge about the variety of processed banana-based foods andtheir marketing strategies, conducting training to make variations on banana-based foods, conducting training oneffective marketing strategies. Overall, a series of community service programs were carried out perfectly as it expected.The percentage of participants' understanding in choosing high quality bananas is 85%, the percentage of participants’ability in processing banana-based foods is 86%, and percentage of participants who successfully sell processed foodproducts by utilizing online shopping sites is 70%

One of the great traditions in Islamic education institutions in Indonesia is teaching by transmitting Islamic values as found in classical books written centuries ago. The majority in Indonesia, the classic book is better known as the Kitab Kuning. Teaching with the Kitab Kuning is usually done in Islamic Boarding Schools. Examining Kitab Kuning requires qualified Arabic language skills at least passively. Unfortunately, not all Islamic boarding schools that have a variety of superior programs in certain fields, are weak in the field of studying Kitab Kuning. One of them is the Islamic Boarding School Mu'allimin Muhammadiyyah Sawah Dangka which has the flagship Tahfizh Alquran program but is weak in the study of Kitab Kuning. One of the main factors is the lack of adequate quality of human resources. For this reason, this community service activity aims to provide training while introducing new, lightweight methods in learning Arabic, namely the Bihaqatil Jumal method. This method emphasizes learning Arabic using the right brain. After a series of community service activities, teachers and Islamic boarding schools felt helped and gained new experiences in learning Arabic methods to study Kitab Kuning. In addition, both the assisted object and the resource person requested that this kind of community service be continued.

Community service activities with IbM scheme have been done in home industry of soybean milk processing in Sraten and Kartasura Village, Sukoharjo District. The aim of activities are all partners able process soybean juice into health drink product in ready to drink packaging, adn next can be as new economic commodity to the community. In addition, partners are expected to have a clear administrative and governance system in finance, production and, marketing as an effort to empower communities in Sukoharjo District. Considering the benefits of this soy essence is so great then product diversification is needed so that the product is more acceptable to the market. This program is done through several stages namely 1) Making soybeans into ready-to-drink; 2) Transfer of packing technology; 3) Product marketing and management aspects of soybean processing into beverages in ready-to-drink packaging as well as; and 4) Feasibility analysis of beverage production business made from soybean. Through IbM, training and development of soya bean processing technology is made into an economic commodity product in the form of beverages in ready-to-drink packaging, which can provide new economic alternatives in the community. After this program, the community service activity was conducted with the training and mentoring approach to the two partners, it was able to increase the quantity and quality of soybean beverage production where the yield of production increased almost twice from the original.

Profesional dan kualitas guru PAUD berpengaruh pada kualitas siswa, termasuk didalamnya adalah motorik siswa. Dengan demikian, diperlukan peningkatan profesionalisme dan kualitas guru PAUD dalam mengajar dan dalam hal ini adalah metode pembelajaran. Berkenaan dengan peningkatan motorik siswa, maka guru PAUD perlu dibekali dan ditingkatkan metode pembelajaran yang tepat dan kreatif. Beberapa metode pembelajaran yang berkaitan dalam peningkatan motorik siswa adalah menggambar, mewarnai, dan mengecat. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah dengan pendampingan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya motorik siswa di PAUD Kemah Kasih. Peningkatan motorik siswa berdampak pada meningkatknya fokus atau konsentrasi, kesabaran, keterampilan, emosi, ketaatan, ketepatan dalam mengisi obyek, disiplin, kreatifitas, pantang menyerah (menyelesaikan tugas sampai selesai) pada siswa PAUD Kemah Kasih. Professional and quality of early childhood teachers have an effect on the quality of students, including students' motor skills. Thus, it is necessary to increase the professionalism and quality of PAUD teachers in teaching and in this case is the learning method. With regard to improving student motor skills, PAUD teachers need to be equipped and enhanced with appropriate and creative learning methods. Several learning methods related to improving students' motor skills are drawing, coloring, and painting. The method used in this community service activity is assistance. The result of this activity was the improvement of the students' motor skills at the Kemah Kasih PAUD. The increase in student motoric has an impact on increasing focus or concentration, patience, skill, emotion, obedience, accuracy in filling objects, discipline, creativity, never giving up (completing assignments to completion) in Kemah Kasih PAUD students.

Poultry vitamins are one of the nutrients needed by breeders. This poultry vitamin serves to accelerate the growth of poultry, maintain the quality of poultry meat, improve the quality of poultry eggs, prolong poultry egg production and accelerate poultry egg production. One of the partners who was worked together with the ITN Malang team is engaged in the field of poultry vitamins production and wants to increase the turnover of poultry vitamin production. All the time, the price of poultry vitamins from factories is considered high enough so that farmers have objections to buying poultry vitamins from the factory. The community service team observed at the quality of poultry vitamins which are produced in the Purwosari area and will transfer technology to apply a disk mill in the production process which will be able to increase the production of poultry vitamins in good prices but with high quality also. In addition, the community service team will improve the packaging by used aluminum foil to avoid moisture and later will be given a logo to facilitate the sales process to breeders. After improved the packaging, it has expected can be freely marketing with the general standardization of poultry vitamins. So that farmers can get cheap and good quality poultry vitamins. From the results of the activities carried out, it was found that a disk mill machine with a capacity of 150 kg / hour. It if the production of 500 kg takes 3 hours with one workers person. So that the partners can save time and production costs. So that the profits obtained now increase 25% from previous profits. Meanwhile the packaging used by the team partners now used aluminum foil so that the product looks more attractive and is able to hold the product dry.

Background: The balanced  nutrition  paradigm is currently unknown  to  the  general public, especially school-age children. The old paradigm of four healthy five perfects is still taught in schools. Whereas in the new paradigm of balanced nutrition, in addition to the principle of nutrition that must be consumed in a balanced manner, there is another message that must be conveyed, namely physical activity at least 30 minutes every day, regular exercise, drinking 8 glasses of water a day, washing hands before and after eating and always monitor your weight. Purpose: This community service activity aims to improve balanced nutrition knowledge in elementary school age children. Method: The method of community service is through lectures and games for ice breaking so that the atmosphere becomes more fun. Results: Most of the students of SDN Kalisari 1 Surabaya were female (54%), 10 years old (62%), and parents had jobs in the “other” category namely construction workers, janitors and farm workers (38%). As many as 83% of students have breakfast habits and 88% of students often access the internet. The level of student’s knowledge of balanced nutrition is included in the sufficient category (59%). There is a difference in the level of knowledge before and after counseling about the concept of balanced nutrition (α = 0.04). Conclusion: Efforts to increase knowledge of balanced nutrition with counseling and game methods are considered effective because there is a significant increase in the level of knowledge of SDN Kalisari 1 Surabaya students.

 Indonesia is a maritime country that has many marine natural resources. Central Tapanuli Regency has a position close to the sea. Even though fish has a high protein content with amino acids, students or young people still like to eat fish a little. So it is necessary to provide information and at the same time invite the younger generation to like to eat fish to increase their intelligence. This community service activity was carried out at MTS Al-Maidar Pandan, Pandan District, Central Tapanuli Regency. The method of implementing this service activity is done by providing socialization about the importance of eating fish for MTS Al Maidar students. The outcomes achieved are increasing students' knowledge about the benefits of fish consumption and the nutritional value contained in fish as well as providing students' understanding with the knowledge to be able to distinguish between fish that are suitable for daily consumption or not.
