The reform of the Indonesian NationalPolice (Polri) requires the change in the behaviour of its members to be more professional in their service to the public. ESQ 165 Training is chosen as one of the programs in an attempt of character building of the members of the Subregional Police (Polres) of Ciamis. ESQ 165Training is character-building training categorized as a type of motivation training which uses comprehensive and sustainable spiritual engineering.This research aims to evaluate ESQ 165 Training in an attempt to build the character of the members of the Subregional Police of Ciamis. The theory utilized in this research is Kirkpatrick’s Framework which consists of four studied levels, namely reaction level, learning level, behavioural level, and result level. This research uses a quantitative descriptive research method. Data-gathering technique uses questionnaires distributed among 179 members of the Subregional Police of Ciamis who has participated in ESQ 165 Training, observation and interviews. The result of the research shows that 87.9% of the respondents likes the training (reaction level), 92.6% of the respondents understand the material of training (learning level), respondents shows changes in motivation, attitude and behaviour (behaviour level), and the public appreciate the performance of the Subregional Police of Ciamis which has undergone significant changes (result level). Therefore, ESQ 165 Training can be recommended as one of training methods utilized in character building.

Tujuan dari peneliti ini yaitu untuk mengetahui (1) karakteristik kecerdasan emosional remaja di RPSAA Ciumbuleuit Bandung; (2) pola bimbingan orang tua asuh dalam menumbuhkan kecerdasan emosional remaja di RPSAA Ciumbuleuit Bandung; (3) hasil pola bimbingan orang tua asuh dalam menumbuhkan kecerdasan emosional remaja di RPSAA Ciumbuleuit Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian deskriptif, pemilihan subjek dan informan dengan cara acak dan teknik pengumpulan datanya melalui observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara terhadap enam orang anak asuh dan tiga orang tua asuh. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa anak sebelum memperoleh pengasuhan dari orang tua asuh di RPSAA memiliki karakteristik kecerdasan emosional rendah. Pola pengasuhan yang diterapkan di RPSAA kepada anak asuh adalah pola asuh demokratis. Sedangkan hasil pengasuhan dalam menumbuhkan kecerdasan emosional remaja di RPSAA Ciumbuleuit Bandung menyimpulkan bahwa anak asuh usia remaja telah memiliki kecerdasan emosional yang cukup baik, yaitu terlihat dari bagaimana cara mereka mampu mengendalikan segala perasaan yang pada dirinya, meskipun ada remaja yang belum sepenuhnya memenuhi aspek kecerdasan emosional.   The goal of these researchers is to figure out (1) characteristics of the emotional intelligence of teenagers in RPSAA Ciumbuleuit Bandung; (2) foster parents guidance pattern in fostering emotional intelligence RPSAA Ciumbuleuit Bandung in adolescents; (3) results foster parents guidance pattern in fostering emotional intelligence RPSAA Ciumbuleuit Bandung in teens. This research used the qualitative approach with descriptive research method, the selection of subjects and informants by means of random and data gathering techniques through observation, interview and documentation against six people and three foster care parents foster care. The research results obtained by researchers concluded that child before obtaining care of foster parents in RPSAA has the characteristic of low emotional intelligence. Parenting patterns are applied in the RPSAA to foster care parenting is democratic. While parenting results in fostering emotional intelligence RPSAA Ciumbuleuit Bandung teenager in concluding that foster care teens have had a pretty good emotional intelligence, that is visible from how they are able to control all the feelings on him, even though there are teenagers who do not yet fully meet aspects of emotional intelligence.

Abstract. This research aims to know how the implementation of maintenance conducted by PT X and how maintenance by PT X used the preventive and breakdown maintenance methods to minimize engine maintenance cost. The research method used in this study is care study whereas this type of research is quantitative descriptive research. Technique of collecting data in this research by obsererving, interviewing and collecting documents related to research. Data analysis used by using preventive and breakdown maintenance methods. The result of this research is PT X performs maintenance of the engine by using preventive maintenance such as routine maintenance, semi-overhaul forecast maintenance and annual maintenance and breakdown maintenance are usually performed when the machine is fully damaged or dead. PT X should implement preventive maintenance because it is more efficient at 13,2% than the company’s maintenance. Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan pemeliharaan mesin yang dilakukan PT X dan bagaimana pemeliharaan mesin yang yang dilakukan PT X dengan menggunakan metode preventive dan breakdown maintenance untuk meminimumkan biaya pemeliharaan mesin. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini studi kasus sedangkan jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan melakukan observasi, wawancara dan pengumpulan dokumen-dokumen yang berkaitan dengan penelitian. Analisis data yang digunakan dengan menggunakan metode preventive dan breakdown maintenance. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah PT X hendaknya melakukan pemeliharaan mesin dengan menggunakan preventive maintenance seperti perawatan rutin, perawatan semi overhaul dan perawatan tahunan dan breakdown maintenance biasa dilakukan saat mesin mengalami kerusakan atau mati total. PT X hendaknya melaksanakan preventive maintenance karena lebih efisien sebesar 13,2% dibandingkan pemeliharaan yang dilakukan perusahaan.

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan ekstrakurikuler futsal. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah 9 SMP Negeri di Kota Bengkulu. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah Observasi, Angket, dan Dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase perkembangan futsal ekstrakurikuler di SMP Negeri Bengkulu berkembang 6 sekolah 66,66%, belum berkembang 3 sekolah 33,33%. Setelah mendapatkan persentase data maka dapat dilakukan perbandingan perkembangan ekstrakurikuler futsal di SMP Negeri Kota Bengkulu tingkat bengkulu 6:3. Berdasarkan perolehan data perkembangan ekstrakurikuler futsal di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri Bengkulu harus memperhatikan indikator yang baik seperti peran siswa, pelatih yang kompeten, manajemen yang baik, fasilitas, metode pelatihan. Jadi hasil data yang diperoleh dari sembilan sekolah ada 6 sekolah yang memiliki indikator baik. Sementara 3 sekolah belum terlihat perkembangan indikator yang belum memenuhi proses mendukung pengembangan futsal ekstrakurikuler.Kata Kunci : Perkembangan, Ekstrakurikuler, FutsalAbstractThis study aims to determine the development of futsal extracurricular activities. The method used is descriptive research method. The research subjects were 9 Middle Schools in the City of Bengkulu. The instruments of this study are Observation, Questionnaire, and Documentation. The results showed that the percentage of extracurricular futsal development in Bengkulu State Middle School grew by 6 schools 66.66%, not yet developed 3 schools 33.33%. After getting the percentage of data, we can compare the development of futsal extracurricular activities at Bengkulu City State Middle School bengkulu level 6: 3. Based on data obtained from the development of futsal extracurricular activities in Bengkulu State Junior High School, it must pay attention to good indicators such as competent students, good management facilities, training methods. So the results of data obtained from nine schools have 6 schools that have good indicators. While 3 schools stated that there were no developments in indicators that had not met the process of supporting the development of extracurricular futsal.Keywords: Development, Extracurricular, Futsal

This paper aimed to point out the determinants of the effectiveness of Municipal Management in Brazil. It was a quantitative, descriptive research, with secondary data from 2015 to 2017, available at the Rui Barbosa Institute web site – 11 variables correlated with the effectiveness of management. The sample was comprised of Brazilian municipalities. The results were estimated by logistic regression with balanced panel data and interpreted by the odds ratio criterion. The results showed that population size and the mayor’s reelection have a positive and statistically significant relationship to explain the effectiveness of management. On the other hand, the number of candidates for mayors, and disapproved expenses showed a negative and statistically significant relationship to explain the effectiveness. By addressing the effectiveness of municipal management, this article fills a gap in the literature because it brings to the debate the relevance of the evaluation phase of the public management to improve its quality and/or mitigate negative impacts on the population.

With the geologic location and physical characteristics of the Philippines,it is being considered as one of the most disaster-prone countries in the world.Disasters occurring in the country can be natural or human-induced (NDRRMC,2011).   Certainly, when there is a disaster, school children are the mostvulnerable. The study examined the disaster management trainings attended bythe teachers and their capability level in managing natural and human-induceddisasters.  It also explored the pupils’ knowledge, attitudes and behavior aboutdisaster management. Employing descriptive research design, 200 teachers and300 pupils in the public central schools in Iligan City served as respondents.Survey questionnaires were used in data gathering and were treated using frequency counts, means, percentages and correlation procedure. Results revealthat almost all of the teachers did not have trainings on disaster managementand yet, they are capable in managing the identified disasters. Meanwhile, thepupils posted a good remark on their knowledge, attitudes and behavior aboutdisaster management. The two powerful typhoons Sendong (Tropical StormWashi) and Pablo (Tropical Storm Bopha) left a learned lesson to the people inIligan City not to be complacent in any disasters. he purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness utilization of biometrics presence of face and finger access control at PT. PLN Tello Sector Makassar City in improving employee discipline. This research method uses quantitative research types with quantitative descriptive research types. Data collection techniques using questionnaires in the form of a checklist and using descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that the effectiveness utilization of of biometrics presence of face and finger access control at PT. PLN Tello Sector Makassar City in order to improve employee discipline based on indicators of target achievement, adaptability, and job satisfaction are in the good category. Meanwhile, based on indicators of responsibility are in the quite good category.

Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) are the leading causes of death and are responsible for the highest mortality rates in the world and in Indonesia. One of the programs for controlling NCDs especially hypertension and Diabetes at the Public Health Center (PHC) is Prolanis. One of the Prolanis programs is the monitoring of dietary adherence among Prolanis members. A descriptive research design was used as research method. The samples of this study were 34 Prolanis members in Sumurjomblang Bogo Village, the working area of Puskesmas Bojong 2. The results showed that the majority of Prolanis members in Sumurjomblang Bogo did not compliant the right schedule of diet (80%), the right type of diet (60%), and the right number of diet (60 %) for diabetes mellitus and hypertension. This may be due to lack of monitoring from health workers. Therefore, the results of this study are expected for an online diet counseling and monitoring program involving families of prolanis members during covid-19 pandemic.

The development of the economy at this time will cause very tight competition in the business field. The company will continue to develop its products by creating unique products that are different from competitors that produce similar products. At this time consumers are fanatic in choosing a product, besides they want a quality product they will also choose a product that has a brand image that is quite good in the community. Deenay veil products are currently a product that is favored by every society. At Gea Fashion Banjar deenay brand hood sales are higher each month compared to other brand hoods. Based on that, the writer is interested in researching the Effect of Brand Image on the Decision to Purchase Deenay Veil in Banjar Gea Fashion. The purpose of this study was to determine how the influence of Brand Image on the Purchase Decision Deenay Veil on Banjar Gea Fashion? The research method used is quantitative descriptive research method, with a sample of 50 people. The results showed that brand image had a significant influence on the decision making for purchasing veil deenay. This significance value was obtained from Fcount 29,689 with a significance of 0,000 with F table (4.04) at the significance level of 0.05 and the coefficient of determination (r²) or R square obtained by 0.328, so that the magnitude of influence was 38.2%, whereas the remaining 61.8% is influenced by other factors not included in this research variable. In conclusion, consumers make purchasing decisions due to the influence of brand image and social, cultural, personal and psychological factors.

This study has purpose to determine and analyze the effect of Company Image, Customer Incentives, Trust, Complaints Handling, and Facilities on Costumer Retention at BMT Amanah Ummah Kartasura. The research method applied in this study was a quantitative descriptive research design. This study used a population of 1,500 respondents. In determining the sample size, this study used the Slovin formula. Based on the results of calculation, the number of samples in this study was 100 respondents. The sampling technique was carried out using incidental sampling. The data collection was done using a questionnaire. The data analysis technique in this study was statistical analysis consists of multiple linear regression test, F test, t test and the coefficient of determination. The results showed that the Company Image, Customer Incentives, Trust, Complaint Handling, and Facilities simultaneously had a significant effect on Customer Retention at BMT Amanah Ummah Kartasura. Partially, it was found that Company Image and Customer Incentives do not have a positive and significant effect on Customer Retention at BMT Amanah Ummah in Kartasura. Meanwhile, Trust, Complain Handling, and Facilities have a positive and significant effect on Customer Retention at BMT Amanah Ummah in Kartasura. The coefficient of determination or the contribution of the variables of Company Image, Customer Incentives, Trust, Complain Handling, and Facilities on Customer Retention at BMT Amanah Ummah Kartasura was 43.1%. This study suggested that BMT Amanah Ummah should continue to improve and pay attention to the factors that affect the Customer Retention, such as Company Image, Customer Incentives, Trust, Complain Handling, and Facilities. This research was conducted in Tanah Ombak Reading Park, Purus III Village, Padang City, West Sumatra. This study aims to illustrate that Tanah Ombak reading park has a considerable influence in changing the stigma and views of the community around Purus Beach which is very far from the reading material and has bad behavior. This is where the role played by the Tanah Ombak Reading Park to make the children of the Purus Beach community have good character and good literacy too. This research uses descriptive research method using a qualitative approach. The purpose of descriptive research is to provide a description based on accurate facts obtained in the field. The subjects in this study were children who lived around Tanah Ombak Reading Park, while the object of the study was Tanah Ombak Reading Park, Padang, West Sumatra. Data collection techniques carried out by observation, interviews and literature. The informants in this study amounted to one person, Mr. Yusrizal. The results of this study are (1) children's reading literacy and society will develop well if the elements that play a role in the scope understand their respective roles (2) many activities held by Tanah Ombak Reading Park to improve reading literacy(3) Tanah Ombak Reading Park has various awards from other renowned institutions and artists. (4) the obstacle felt by Tanah Ombak Reading Park is the lack volunteers so the activities are not well structured. So it can be concluded that Tanah Ombak reading Park has a positive impact in providing education and teaching to children such as learning to count, draw, tell stories, play, and most importantly teach norms in society. However, all activities are constrained due to the limited volunteers so that the activities are only carried out by children independently, such as reading books by themselves without being accompanied by volunteers. Suggestion for the future that Tanah Ombak Reading Park informs the public about the needs of volunteers so that the activities in Tanah Ombak Reading Park can take place in a structured manner.
