Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in Indonesia has increased and is still a national probem because it is far from the SDG’s target. This is caused by the incidence of pregnancy hypertension including preeclmpsia. Family has an important role to influence the health status of its members. The purpose of this study was to identify the existence of a family support with preeclampsia severity. This study a case control design using consecutive sampling with 80 respondents in Kendal, Central Java. Family support data collection using Preceivec Social Support Family Scale (PSS-Fa) instrument. The result of this study there is no relationship between Family Support and Preeclampsia severity with p-value 0,892. Future research can specify the type of support so it is not general and in-depth.

Masalah fisik yang muncul pada pasien stroke yaitu hilangnya kesadaran selama stroke, inkontinensia, kelumpuhan atau kelemahan otot, sehingga pasien mengalami gangguan gerak karena adanya kerusakan susunan saraf pada otak dan kekakuan pada otot dan sendi. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan latihan kekuatan otot pasien pasca stroke yang memperoleh berbagai dukungan keluarga. Desain penelitian ini adalah study komparatif adalah menggunakan metode Cross-Sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 54 responden dan menngunakan teknik consecutive sampling. Alat yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuesioner Perceived Social Support-Family Scale (PSS-Fa) dan kuesioner latihan kekuatan otot. Pengambilan data dilakukan di ruang Poli Syaraf RSUD Dr. H. Soewondo Kendal pada 15 responden menggunakan teknik consecutive sampling. Tidak ada perbedaan antara latihan kekuatan otot pasien pasca stroke yang memperoleh dukungan keluarga baik dan dukungan kurang dengan nilai p value 0,727.   Kata kunci : dukungan keluarga, latihan kekuatan otot, pasca stroke   DIFFERENCE OF EXERCISE STRENGTHS OF THE MUSCLE OF POST-STROKE PATIENTS THAT GET VARIOUS FAMILY SUPPORT   ABSTRACT Physical problems that arise in stroke patients are loss of consciousness during stroke, incontinence, paralysis or muscle weakness, so that patients experience movement disorders due to damage to the nervous system in the brain and stiffness in the muscles and joints. The study aimed to determine the differences in muscle strength training of post-stroke patients who received various family support. The design of this study is a comparative study using the Cross-Sectional method. The sample in this study were 54 respondents and used consecutive sampling technique. The tool used in this study was the Perceived Social Support-Family Scale (PSS-Fa) questionnaire and muscle strength training questionnaire. Data collection was carried out in the Neurology Room of the RSUD Dr. H. Soewondo Kendal for 15 respondents using consecutive sampling technique. There was no difference between muscle strength training in post-stroke patients who received good family support and less support with a p value of 0.727.   Keywords: family support, muscle strength training, post stroke

Diphtheria is a contagion deadly disease which case increases year-by-year. Objective:   To know the correlation of direct contact with diphteria patient towards diphteria in Blitar in 2016. This research method uses Observational-analytic study by using case control design. Sample in case group were 31 people of diphteria patients and 31 people of control group which is not a diphteria patients. Direct contact as Independent variable. Data were analyzed by Mc Nemar. The results showed p value is 0.21. Direct contact haven’t  associated with diphteria. Further research can use more detailed questionnaire to know direct contact status properly

DM disease will be suffered for life, so the patient is expected to establish self-management behavior in managing the disease. Self-management behavior in patient tends to decline with increasing complications perceived by patients. The presence of social support one of important factors to improve adherence of self-management Diabetes patients. The purpose of this study was to assess the relationship of social support towards self-management and the quality of life in DM patients in Bandung. This research used correlational approach with purposive technique sampling. Numbers of respondent were taken from the region of 10 Puskesmas with highest DM in Bandung on 92 patients who came to Puskesmas. The questionnaires used were Hensarling Diabetes Family Support Scale (HDFSS), Summary of Diabetes Self-management Activities Measure (SDSCA) and SF-36. The analysis used analysis using frequency distribution, and Spearman-rho. Most respondents (51.1%) had social support below the group median. Most respondents (50%) had a quality of life below the group median. Most respondents (52.2%) had DM self-management behavior below the group median. Bivariate results showed no relationship between social support support and self-management and quality of life of respondents (p value = 0.801). There is no significant relationship between social support and self-management and quality of life. Therefore, the studies are expected to be recommendations of this study was integrate nursing care to improve self-management and quality of life of DM patients.

The prevalence of CHF is increasing every year. The impact of a psychosocial condition requiring comprehensive treatment for CHF in all aspects. One contributing factor to success is the involvement of the family. Purpose: This study aimed to determine the differences of social support towards clients with CHF who were receiving family psychoeducation.  Method: This study used a Quasi -experimental pre-post test without a control group”.  A sample of  25 respondents and sample retrieval techniques with a purposive sampling procedure. The instrument used was an ISSB questionnaire for measuring social support. The intervention group was provided with family psychoeducation that performed 5 sessions. Result and conclusion: The finding this study showed was a significant change before and after the family support family psychoeducation (p-value 0.00<α).  Characteristics of the family and the client is not associated with social support. Family psychoeducation research way recommended developed in a public hospital.

Background: Hypoglycemia is a known complication of SAM which is to be managed early to prevent morbidity and mortality. There is lack of literature regarding hypoglycemia and its associated factors in SAM children. This study aimed to evaluate predicting factors associated with hypoglycemia in children with severe acute malnutrition (SAM) in NRC.Methods: In this case-control design, we compared clinical and laboratory characteristics of children with and without hypoglycemia taken from a population of 299 children with SAM admitted in NRC.Results: Prevalence of hypoglycemia in SAM was 14%. Amongst the association it was found that deranged creatinine (P value of 0.002, odds ratio 2.9, 95% C.I.1.48 - 5.97) and deranged urea (P value 0.0001, odds ratio 3.6, 95% C.I. 1.79 - 7.2) were statistically significant. Diarrhoea (P value 0.7, odds ratio 1.14, 95% C.I. 0.57 - 2.26), leucocytosis (P value 0.23, odds ratio 0.54, 95% C.I. 0.21 - 2.26), leucopenia ( P value 0.6, odds ratio 0.42, 95% C.I. 0.05 - 3.35) were found statistically insignificant.Conclusions: Azotemia in SAM was found significantly associated with hyponatremia.

The objective of the research was to analyze the influence of the characteristics of fishermen�s house on the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis. The research used an analytic method with case-control design. The population was 90 fishermen, wih sample details 45 case and 45 control, taken by using consecutive sampling technique. The data were gathered by conducting interviews, questionnaires, observation, and measurement and analyzed by using univatriate analysis, bivatriate analysis, and multivatriate analysis at the significance level of 95%. The results of the study indicate that there is a relationship between variabel temperature (p-value : 0,004), humidity (p-value : 0,006) and mosquito coils (p-value : 0,044 with the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis. Humidity variable has the highest Exp Value (B) = 8.4, so it assumed respondents who live in homes with not requirements humidity levels 8.4 times more easily infected with TBC. Kampung nelayan residents are expected to wear warm clothing at night and open windows every day. It is expected that Puskesmas Belawan will implement health program policies set by the government in reducing the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis.

Background: Malaria is an infectious disease caused by Plasmodium and transmitted to humans through the bite of infected female Anopheles. Characteristics of a person affecting the pattern of life that can contribute to the occurrence, attitudes and behaviors that is less attention to environmental  related to Anopheles population can contribute to the malaria. In Indonesia, malaria is found in almost all regions. Some provinces are still malaria endemic areas, both low, medium and high. The number of malaria-based illnesses in API in Central Java in 2014 was recorded at 0.05 per 1000 population, and indigenous cases were still found in 5 districts, namely Purworejo, Banjarnegara, Purbalingga, Banyumas and Kebumen. Banjarnegara is one of the district in Central Java which is an  endemic area of malaria, the patients as many  247, of that 102 patients in Puskesmas Banjarmangu I,  Banjarmangu. This study aims to related factors attitude and behavior to the malaria. Method: The research was observasional analytic with case control design. The sample  of 34 cases and 34 controls,  with simple random sampling. Attitudes and behaviors were examined using logistic regression. Results: The result of study showed that attitude (p = 0,015; OR = 3,656; 95% CI = 1,292-10,344) and behavior (p = 0,031; OR = 2,962; 95% CI = 1,104-7,942) were significance relationship with malaria. Conclusion: Attitude and behavior related to the malaria in working area of Banjarmangu I, Banjarnegara. The  dominant factors was attitude.

Latar Belakang : Halusinasi merupakan  gangguan persepsi dimana  pasien mempersepsikan sesuatu  yang sebenarnya tidak terjadi.  Penatalaksanaan keperawatan pada pasien dengan perubahan sensori persepsi: halusinasi selain diberi pengobatan farmakologi juga dengan dukungan keluarga agar dapat mengontrol halusinasi. Keterlibatan pendukung pasien (keluarga) sangat dapat membantu dalam proses pengobatan dalam kemampuan mengontrol halusinasi pendengaran pada klien halusinasi pendengaran. Tujuan Penelitian : Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan keluarga dengan kemampuan mengontrol halusinasi pendengaran pada klien halusinasi pendengaran di Poli Jiwa RSJD Dr. RM Soedjarwadi Provinsi Jawa Tengah tahun 2018. Metode Penelitian : Penelitian ini menggunakan desain studi korelasi untuk melihat adanya hubungan dukungan keluarga  dengan kemampuan mengontrol halusinasi pendengaran pada klien halusinasi pendengaran. Besar sampel dalam penelitian ini mengunakan kriteria sampling sebagai berikut: Populasi < 100 diambil total/ semua sampling. Dalam penelitian ini, jumlah sampelnya berjumlah 40 responden. Hasil Penelitian : Berdasarkan hasil uji statistic chi-square didapatkan nilai P-value > α yaitu (0,356 > 0,05) yang artinya tidak ada hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan kemampuan klien mengontrol halusinasi pendengaran di Poli Jiwa RSJD Dr. RM Soedjarwadi Provinsi Jawa Tengah tahun 2018. Kesimpulan dan Saran : Tidak ada hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan kemampuan klien mengontrol halusinasi pendengaran di Poli Jiwa RSJD Dr. RM Soedjarwadi Provinsi Jawa Tengah tahun 2018. Diharapkan bagi peneliti selanjutnya meneliti terkait dengan faktor apa saja yang dapat mendukung kemampuan mengontrol halusinasi pendengaran.   Kata Kunci : dukungan keluarga, halusinasi pendengaran, kemampuan mengontrol halusinasi pendengaran   ABSTRACT   Background: Hallucinations are perceptual disorders where patients perceive something that really doesn't happen. Method: This study uses a correlation study design to see the relationship of family support with the ability to control auditory hallucinations in auditory hallucinations clients. The sample size in this study used the following sampling criteria: Population <100 was taken total/ all sampling. In this study, the number of samples was 40 respondents. Result: Based on the results of the chi-square statistical test, the value of P-value> α is obtained (0.356> 0.05) which means there is no relationship between family support and the client's ability to control auditory hallucinations at the Psychiatric Psychology RSJD Dr. RM Soedjarwadi Province of Central Java in 2018. Conclusion and Reccomendation: There is no relationship between family support and the client's ability to control auditory hallucinations at the Psychiatric Psychology RSJD Dr. RM Soedjarwadi Province of Central Java in 2018. Indonesia is a dengue-endemic area. DHF in Kupang City in 2014 was 487 cases, in 2015 was 665 cases, in 2016 was 1.213 cases, it was 2019 387 cases. The 3M+ behavior includes the habit of draining water storage, closing the water storage, burying old stuff, sowing larvicide powder, using mosquito insecticide, using mosquito bed-net, and avoiding the habit of hanging clothes. This study aims to analyze the relationship between 3M+ behavior and the incidence of DHF. This study was conducted in September 2019. This is a descriptive-analytic study with a case-control design. The results show variables related to the incidence of DHF are the behavior of draining water storage (P-value = 0.006), the behavior of closing the water storage (P-value = 0.002), and the behavior of using anti-mosquito insecticide (P-value = 0,000). Whereas the variables not related to the incidence of DHF are the behavior of burying old stuff (P-value = 0.616), the behavior of sowing larvicide powder (P-value = 0.493), the behavior of using mosquito nets (P-value = 0.067), and the behavior of hanging clothes (p-value = 0.512). It is recommended that 3M+ behavior should be done to prevent dengue hemorrhagic fever.

ABSTRAKTuberculosis Multi-Drug Resistnce adalah salah satu jenis resistensi basil TB terhadap setidaknya dua obat anti tuberkulosis (OAT) lini pertama yaitu isoniazid dan rifampisin, dua obat OAT yang paling efektif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan faktor penyebab kejadian kejadian MDR-TB. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan desain observasional analitik dengan pendekatan case control. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 31 responden dengan teknik pemgambilan sampel menggunakan teknik consecutive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menggunakan uji statistik chi square dan uji multiple logistic regression. Sehingga hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan faktor dukungan keluarga terhadap kejadian MDR-TB (p value =0,021); ada hubungan faktor penegtahuan dengan kejadian MDR-TB (p=0,030); ada hubungan faktor keteraturan minum obat terhadap kejadian MDR-TB (p value =0,045); ada hubungan faktor keaktifan petugas terhadap kejadian MDR-TB (p value =0,001). Sedangan hasil uji multiple logistic regression diperoleh hasil bahwa faktor keteraturan minum obat dengan nilai p value = 0,000 dan (OR=11,218). Diharapkan petugas kesehatan memberikan konseling kepada pasien TB MDR mengenai pengobatan TB MDR, cara menanggulangi efek samping obat, serta motivasi kepada pasien TB MDR.Kata-kata kunci : Faktor resiko, tuberculosis multi-drug resistnceABSTRACTTuberculosis Multi-Drug Resistance is one type of TB bacillary resistance to at least two first-line anti-tuberculosis (OAT) drugs, namely isoniazid and rifampicin, the two most effective OAT drugs. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of factors causing the incidence of MDR-TB. This type of research is a quantitative study using an analytic observational design with a case control approach. The number of samples in this study were 31 respondents with a sampling technique using consecutive sampling techniques. The results of this study use the statistical test fisher's exact test and multiple logistic regression test. So the results of the study indicate that there is a relationship between family support factors for the incidence of MDR-TB (p = 0.021); there is a relationship between knowledge and MDR-TB incidence (p = 0.030); there was a correlation between the regularity of taking medication to the incidence of MDR-TB (p = 0.045); there is a correlation between the activeness factor of the officer towards the MDR-TB incidence (p = 0.001). Whereas multiple logistic regression test results showed that the regularity of taking medication with p value = 0,000 and (OR = 11,218). It is expected that health workers provide counseling to MDR TB patients regarding MDR TB treatment, how to cope with drug side effects, as well as motivation to MDR TB patients.Keywords: Risk factors, Tuberculosis Multi-Drug Resistance
